10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a room in the cottage with a separate entrance and all amenities. Lovely home in a great location with a lovely family. Everything is very beautiful and clean! Recommended! Sergey and Natalia.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience, comfortable bed and pillows extra fluffy, great amenities, breakfast was superb and taken into account my vegan preference and at the end they even helped us by giving us a needle and the thread to fix something that was torn.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent for a short stay, really close to the autoroute, it was brilliant to have self-contained facilities so that we could really relax after a long, hot journey.
Cons: The wi-fi was really low speed, one of the slowest we have encountered, but the rest of the facilities compensated for this.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything

Cons: No where to eat within walking distance .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything but especially the possibility to have a nespresso coffee when waking up in the morning and the freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Anne and Eric are perfect hosts and the facilities are superb. The relatively new apartment with a view into the walled garden is very restful and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast with home-made viennoiserie and conserves is excellent - thanks Eric. We have overnighted in the general area at least 35 times over the past 10 years and have stayed in over 12 different hotels on the way to England from Switzerland. No longer do we have to search for a room each time as we have now found the best.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

9.6 Excellent (150 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Petit rechiard Quiet, tucked out of the way, in a village set back in time but a villa with a modern touch. I loved the way the sheets smelled as if they were just taken off the clothes line, still maintains their crispness. Wide open windows to deeply breath the night air in knowing that the nearby golden fields of rolled hay bails will be there to greet you in the morning. A delightful breakfast with homemade jams and honey. The indoor pool temperature was perfect. We got there late and unfortunately we’re not able to explore the garden a little more. The owners were very friendly.
Cons: The shower head did not want to stay positioned.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice size room and bathroom. The owners are forthcoming and very nice. Nice breakfast served in the garden. Their pool small but nice.
Cons: The bed is too hard and pillows too soft
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, wonderful people, lovely breakfast, gorgeous garden.
Cons: For one of the rooms the toilet is in the corridor leading to the room, it would be nice if the toilet could be reached without worrying about the curtain at the end of the corridor not being closed properly.
6.7 Good
Pros: Beautifull garden, nice swimming pool
Cons: We had a three night stay and the room was not cleaned during that stay. This is a bit too little.
9.6 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome to this lovely family home. Use of pool and seating areas. Room was comfortable and spacious. Delicious breakfast. Rural location but there is a fabulous little restaurant less than 5 minute walk that serves a limited menu but food is good, locals were very welcoming. It was great for our one night stay on route to the Black Forest.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely spacious room and bathroom. The hosts were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely with lots of home made and local produce. Wish we could have stayed longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome from Alex and Audrey, showed us around their lovely home. The garden was peaceful and lovely to sit in as children played and swam in pool. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds for family of 5. Super breakfast, with homemade yogurt and honey from their own bees (they sell their honey and we brought some to take home, it is delicious!) We were very happy with our stay, to break journey to Italy and would stay there again and definitely recommend to others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts we super helpful and lovely even going as far as getting us a restaurant on our first night as we turned up late. The hotel is lovely with beautiful gardens we enjoyed relaxing in. Pros: The host was very friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. The Internet was quick, the room was big and very pretty, everything was perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable. If the weather had been nice, there would have been a nice terrace / garden. There was no noise in the room. The breakfast was rather basic, but good.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Delightful hostess. Great bathroom. Lovely decor.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just around the corner over the bridge into Zetting you find this rather amazing property. Old farming building from way back transformed inside into a stylish and modern house with very high class accommodation. We had a very large bedroom with massive bed and equally enormous bathroom with semi separate toilet. Huge shower. Lovely garden out the back in which to relax. Adequate breakfast with fresh cake as well as usual offerings other than croissants. Host obliged by washing and drying our cycling gear, always appreciated for a cost of €5. To top this stay off, there is a new chef at the local (200m walk) restaurant and had probably the best main courses in France in six weeks and this being the last night in France, very well received. Highly recommend this combination.
Cons: Would have liked a desk in the bedroom and the internet was slow. Something to consider if you need to catch up with work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautifully finished with excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the location was very quiet. We were 4 motorcyclist and they immediately suggested putting our bikes in the enormous garage which we really appreciated.

7.9 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom facilities excellent!!! Very clean. Our room was facing a quiet garden. The bottle of wine we got as a present was a nice gesture.
Cons: The only disappoinment was the staff at the reception. I needed guidance to find the hotel, as my GPS did not have the name of the street, but was just told to follow the signs. There were none when we entered the village and we had to stop and ask people for directions. When we arrived, we found the attitude of the reception staff extremely cold and unwelcoming. All the "gestures" were there and we would not say that they were not polite (the perfunctory smiles were present), but we had the feeling that they were not happy to have us. Same when we were checking out, despite the bottle of wine.

Overall a great, relaxing stay that was nearby family we were visiting in Woustviller. Looking forward to coming back the next time we visit family!

Cons: Nothing, really
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved staying at this Homestay. I was welcomed very warm (literally). I came with a bicycle and since it was November it was a bit cold to cycle. Right after I arrived I got invited straight up to warm myself up with hot tea and offered food which I appreciated a lot after a long journey. The owners were understanding towards me being vegan and the next day I got to have a lovely breakfast. The Internet was working well. I could see myself staying couple of nights for a quiet and peaceful rest in the future. They also have a kitchenette upstairs where you can prep some simple meal or get yourself tea or coffee at any time.
Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous hosts Louis and Annie made us feel extremely welcome and spoilt us a little with their kindness. The hotel is in a very small village away from everything, surrounded by farms and fields. There is a kitchen for self catering but you will need to visit supermarket on the way - you definitely need a car, as nearest restaurant is 5km away.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, outstanding food and a great wine list
5.0 Okay
Pros: Lovely building and room.
Cons: We arrived on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed and so was everything else. We had to use the back door to go in and out. There was nowhere to get a drink. It was exceptionally hot weather and no air con. Just one small fan which did not cool the room. Breakfast was 15E. Not good value.
7.9 Good
Pros: We had a very nice dinner at the one star restaurant, room was clean and comfortable, although the hotel is not that big it had an elevator which we also appreciated very much.
Cons: Hard to say anything negative
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Astonishing value for money as a hotel. The room was huge, with a very substantial bathroom. Bathwater came out of a ceramic lion head! Really comfortable bed, lots of toiletries supplied, and a view over charming grounds. The restaurant is not cheap, but we had the "pick two dishes from the more expensive five-course menu" option, which came with all sorts of extras - amuse-bouche, intermediate delicacy ("cappuchino of lobster" - tiny but delicious) and "mignardises" with the coffee, all for €42, and all impeccably served. The service, indeed, was a piece of theatre in its own right; nothing was too much trouble and the emphasis was on quiet, efficient elegance, but with flair.
Cons: It was the best small hotel I have stayed in.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good service in keeping with with their Michelin starred restaurant. If you're over 60 years old, they do a set menu with all the drinks included; this is a significant uplift on the standard set menu and is well worthwhile - check on their website for details as it is not mentioned anywhere else and you do need to specifically ask for it.
Cons: Reception is not manned on Sundays, so you need to discuss check in and/or access (if you arevalreadybchecked in). Not a problem, but someine to bear in mind.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A really lovely place with great staff and an excellent restaurant. Well worth a mild diversion on the way back to Calais if you are driving in that location
Cons: There is nothing to dislike

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's own restaurant was closed for its annual holiday, so we dined at the Brasserie owned by the hotel in the town centre. This served very good food at very economical prices.

Cons: The overall planning of the room with the entresol bedroom is nice however there is no place to sit or a balcony. The swimming pool was closed however we did not ask if they could open it just for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything (well, apart from the bells from the nearby church which start tolling at 6 a.m. and continue every 15 minutes! If you're a light sleeper, this can be a nuisance). The owner is very kind and helpful, one can use kettle and microwave in the common area, the room (an apartment, I'd say) was very big and very comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly. The chambre d'hotes is situated in a nice small town in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved staying here. I normally stay in a hotel when I come to Le Petite Pierre, but not any longer. It's a large open plan studio with all that you'd need to self cater. A lovely big sofa and table for working or eating (although the wifi wasn't great). The bed was comfortable, just be careful getting in and out! The owners went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed and was happy. They showed great hospitality. Plentiful hot water for a shower, two radiators that could be switched on as required - they kept me warm enough. Beautiful views and peace and quiet.
Cons: Mind the beam above the bed (says the lump on my head). Although the wifi wasn't great I didn't mention it as I didn't really need it (I used 4g). It may have been something easy to resolve, but I didn't ask, so don't be put off by my wifi comment.

The cabin was very clean, warm and comfortable. Had all the amenities to be able to cook for yourself if you wanted but we also received great recommendations for nice places to eat just a 2minute walk down the road. The breakfast that was provided was delicious and when we mentioned we were going hiking we were provided with snacks to take with us! Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Cons: The Hilton this ain't, it's a simple small town hotel, don't go here if you want a fancy luxury hotel. The only real criticism I have is that the breakfast is over priced for what you get.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: this is once again an experience.... we had been to the Musee Lalique and we were fizzing from that .... and of course not knowing previously we had actually stayed in a " moment in time " by booking this traditional Alastian home of Nadine. This is a seriously old home. Rene Lalique could of visited this village. Such a lovely host with her effort in English for us New Zealanders but also for her knowledge and passion of the history of her village and the planet in general. Nadine is an angel... so incredibly respectful , worldly ,but not from excessive travel , just well read and aware and just a lovely, lovely host. Go visit Weiterswiller you will not be disappointed with that village and all the areas close by.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nadine, our host was very personable and insightful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nadine is an engaging hostess who offers good advice on what to do and where to go in the area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A nice breakfast with a great variety of home made jams.
Cons: A very small village with nothing there. But relatively close to other places. The kitchen facilities are sufficient but don't try to cook a gourmet meal!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Authentic experience of staying in an old alsatian home. Great host, delicious breakfast. The rooms are all in the first and second floors and a shared kitchenette is on the ground floor. There is a balcony in the apartment we stayed in which we really enjoyed.
Cons: We stayed in hot summer days. A fan would have made our stay really comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The small village has absolutely no facilities (bakery or café). House very old and handsome, historical staircase to upstairs room (not advisable for elderly or handicapped people). Beds made up french-style, room heated by wood stove (very nice warmth). Bathroom modern, very good shower. Madame is charming and offers a tasty French breakfast. Free WiFi is offered.
Cons: A personal dislike to beds with layers of sheets and blankets over blankets - i.e. French style - made the nights a little difficult. But two separate matraces and two sets of bedding made it bearable. The steep staircase needed good attention to manage.

Pros: The breakfast was fine and my wife's dietary requirements were catered for.
Cons: Nothing, it was all good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location great for one night stopover driving through Europe. Been here before so knew what to expect. Peaceful. Very friendly. Very comfortable bed. Great dinner choice. Parking directly in front of hotel.
Cons: Breakfast disappointing for the price. Starts at 7am, I arrived at 10 past and apart from bread most things had run out or there was little choice. No milk for cereal. No orange juice, fresh or otherwise, lots of raw eggs but nothing ready to cook them in. Did not have time to wait. Ended up eating dry muesli, a yoghurt and a croissant.

Pros: It's the third round that I stop here on my travels through Europe. It means I really like it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the breakfast
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Old fashioned and too expensive for the offering
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not much
Cons: The hotel does not deserve 3 stars or 3 logis, it really needs a refresher, decoration and furniture is old and outdated (the bathroom has brown tiles probably dating from the 80's). The staff is ok but not good enough. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and found the service very slow, waitress not smiling or looking happy to serve us. We had to wait 20 minutes for our first glass. The food is average, mean meals just ok, and dessert really disappointing. The spa is small and not clean, the water in the swimming pool is so blurry you can not see through. We did not dare to go in. The pictures on booking.com are misleading.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, on the edge of Lorraine and Alsace, in the middle of the forest, with lots of walking trails around. The rooms are big enough and comfortable and so are the beds. The small pool and sauna complimented to the overall comfort of our stay. The staff are very friendly, helpful and full of understanding for our family needs, which is very important if you are travelling with children.
Cons: We encountered some problems with the wifi which was on and off at times but it would only annoy us if we were to work from the hotel and for a vacation stay it was not that important but certainly could be improved.

Pros: Very nice family, extremely good breakfast, wonderful garden, especially great for kids same as the pool. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Our hosts we super helpful and lovely even going as far as getting us a restaurant on our first night as we turned up late. The hotel is lovely with beautiful gardens we enjoyed relaxing in. The breakfast was also delicious and came with homemade jams and honey from the Bees they keep in the garden. Highly recommended
