Pros: The location was nice. The room big and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Cons: There was no Wi-Fi, even though the advertising said there was it. The dinner had little portions.
Pros: Lovely renovated chateau with large room/bathroom located in a rural environment. Food was exceptional in this family run business. WiFi in our room was good, not so in some areas.
Cons: Closest banking facility some 10 km away so when credit card facilities were unavailable during our visit, when not expected, this was an inconvenience. No TV but this was not an issue for us.
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and help us to feel welcomed all the time. The family room was very spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast is plenty and good and parking is convenient.
Cons: Rooms were a bit too cold, even with e-heaters so with small children it might be a bit uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a common area to spend time outside the room but all was kind of closed.
Pros: just fine
Cons: Stairs were difficult
Pros: Big and light rooms. Comfy beds. Pleasant to be able to book dinner in addition to room. Good breakfast. Parking on property. Small playground for kids.
Cons: Old building so noise floors and walls. Floors where a bit dusty. Washed/clean towels and bedding but with some stains.
Pros: The owner is very kind and nice. The breakfast is hearty.
Cons: The internet only works in the main hall.
With a stay at Petit Château Armand Bourgoin B & B in Raincourt, you'll be 11.1 mi (17.9 km) from La Cure Des Arts and 11.9 mi (19.2 km) from Church of Bourbonne. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hosts are magnificent: attentive, warm, yet unobtrusive.
Pros: Personalised care from the host.
Cons: Cleanliness, availability of towels in the room and also for the swimming pool. There are also no restaurants in the small village, unlike it states in the description, so arrangements need to be made with the hosts and she cooks for you. There are also no card payment facilities, cash is required, there are no ATM's nearby.
Pros: Bikes locked safely. Good WiFi. Lovely cool room despite 31 degrees ( thick stone walls). Friendly welcome with icy cold sparkling water. Aperitifs in the garden with hostess and host. 4 course dinner - highlight the home made quiche as entree followed by tasty duck as main course. White and red wine à volonté. Copious choice at breakfast. Highly recommended.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
Pros: We enjoyed this place very much. The hostess spoke very good English, was very familiar and made us feel "at home" Everything was included in the price and we even had our clothes washed.
Pros: The Host made it for us
Cons: Was exactly what we expected.
Pros: Fantastic welcome from Chris the owner, I had a beer in my hand within 1min of walking through the door. Excellent food in the garden and good company. We used the pool which was great and very welcome after a long drive. Our room was great and perfect for our family with four single beds. Loads of room and a huge bathroom/ wet room. Plenty of on site parking..
Cons: A little way from major roads but well worth seeing some of rural France.
Pros: a great & warm welcome (with a draft beer) by a superb hostess Chris, nice large room, superb dinner & breakfast, excellent pool, Chris will do anything to make the stay as pleasant as possible, especially for the kids
Cons: nothing to mention
