It was raining. Sidewalks are designed to be gutters and water run off. They were like running rivers. Very poor design. Good reason not to return to this location.
The location was good and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
The rooms were a bit dated. The room, even though the hotel is non-smoking, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The pull out couch is not a full size pull out and was too small for our two children. Also, we only got a queen bed in our room.
Felt like staying in a comfortable apartment.
I loved having a full kitchen. The fireplace made it feel homey. The laundry room was convenient and clean.
I loved the room space i had the loft penthouse front desk was great and breakfast was good
General location within Raleigh is very convenient.
Bed uncomfortable. Pillows definitely uncomfortable. Facility maintenance needs improvement. Escutcheon was installed backward and left hanging on the shower thus enabling water from the shower to get behind the wall. This will become a mold issue.
The rooms were lovely.
The building for breakfast wasn't connected.
It was a very bad experience
The hotel location was not as where described and hotel was dirty and def not a 3 star star hotel. It was super loud and the pool was gross. The hot tub was not heated. There were broke bottles and trash in the fireplace. Had to call the police.

Dated decor, property layout.
The carpet was old (worn) and ceiling in the bathroom was stained and had been patched many times.
Lots of noise from other guests - 3 am the first night.
Many steps to get to room and need to carry luggage. No ramps. Next time will pack lighter but will definitely stay again.
Very friendly and helpful staff, I had great time grilling my dinner and my vacation.
it was a big far from everything.
Location to downtown was great. Clean room. Exercise room was nice and very cool for a hot summer day.
Parking seemed to be the toughest task because we were a little far from the room when coming in later at night, but everything was safe.
The Spacious Rooms and kitchenette really made our stay quite enjoyable
Old and outdated, not a good location.
It had a nice new kitchen area.
It seemed dated and needed updates. Also the area seemed a little sketchy, a housing area is just down the hill a bit and there seemed to be a lot of people milling about, it did not feel so comfortable. We were looking for more of a hotel experience.
the bed was very comfortable so I was able to get a good night's sleep. That is important to me. And the location worked well for the workshop I was attending.
I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and children while we were in Raleigh for a few days. We found the room to be spacious enough that we were all comfortable. We had two queen beds and a pull out sofa, which accommodated all of us nicely. The showers were great (our room had two showers and two tubs), and we made good use of the table in the kitchen area to sit down and take care of business. The hotel was obviously a bit older, but it was quite clean and comfy. Some of the electrical outlets in the room needed to be replaced (they would not hold the plugs for our computer). It would have been nice to have a few more dishes in the kitchen, and the heater was a bit challenging to balance between the upper level and the lower level. Breakfast had lots of options, hot and cold, and the coffee was fresh and tasty. The location was perfect for our stay, as we were visiting several different areas in the Triangle. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff was attentive and friendly and checking in and out was very easy. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've had at any hotel. Hot meats and pancakes along with fresh fruit and cereals, it was truly a breakfast buffet. Wonderful. The room was nice with a kitchenette and comfortable bed. It was quiet and very reasonably priced with free wi-fi in the room. The pool is small, as is the fitness room, but we went exploring Raleigh instead of hanging at the hotel. It has easy access to the freeway and downtown Raleigh was a straight shot 6 or 7 minute drive. I would stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one week this month. We were on a business/pleasure trip to North Carolina. I did a lot of research before booking this hotel and chose it because I knew the location and thought it sounded like a great value for what you were getting...and it was! The hotel is nestled on a quiet dead end cul de sac right near a main highway with easy access to shopping, dining and entertainment. The hotel itself is very quaint, nothing flashy here at all. You feel right at home and like you are coming home every evening. We have lived in North Carolina and this complex was reminiscent of our first apartment complex. The room was clean and there was nothing else we could have wanted as far as amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For example, we had a bit of a problem with upstairs neighbors who let their children run around, bang on the floor and scream above us for two nights in a row until midnight and when we complained to management, they handled it accordingly and swiftly. That was impressive and much appreciated. They served a lovely full buffet breakfast every morning which in my opinion, saved us a lot of cash because we missed breakfast one morning and went to the Denny's down the street and paid $* (I'm still trying to figure that one out, it's eggs and coffee people) so that was an extra plus. They had a light dinner every night and one night they even had a barbecue which we missed. There was a lovely covered picnic area with rocking chairs and grills and we know we would have utilized the pool area to the fullest had it been the summertime.
