The hotel has very good proximity to the beach - only about a 5min walk. The hotel is very expensive for what it is. I wouldn't judge this to be a very good 3-star hotel as it is not very well built. The corridor provides noise most of the time and you can easily hear your next-door neighbours through the walls. We didn't get a sea view or balcony, in fact our room was quite dark. Other facilities are basic with just a breakfast room (which does have a lovely view of the sea). However, this room isn't used for meals at any other time of day and is a bit of a wasted opportunity.
The location and the views from the restaurant of the unspoilt bay and headland opposite are absolutely beautiful The hotel does not do evening meals - althought there are some small restaurants within walking distance in the village.
Modern, clean, good value for money Difficult to get restaurant, especially on monday, when almost everything is closed in Spain.
It's location overlooking the beach at Niembro was lovely at breakfast time. None of the ground floor rooms have any view at all, just screening. Breakfast was not bad but could get a little busy at the weekends. The two local beaches are lovely and within easy strolling distance of the hotel. There is no restaurant and reception closes in the evening so access by pincode is used. Bear in mind if you are arriving late. There are three restaurants within easy walking distance in the village, one is excellent, but shuts Sunday night Quite difficult to find, it is signposted from the mainroad but from only one direction. Niembro is a typical Spanish village with narrow twisting roads with a curious one way system which the locals seem to ignore
near to the beach
- Great view on the sea. Some rooms have a sea view. - Good breakfast buffet - Nice beach just infront of the hotel. - Nice cities around the hotel. - Very good price - NIce staff. - Very familiar and stylish - Need a car! - Restaurants in the village are expensive for students, but in the village 2 min away the prices are ok.
Very nice and clean with friendly stuff. Breakfast is OK. The hotel is somewhat tricky to find. Car is a must.
It was well communicated. My room was just next to the reception, with only a door in between. I could hear every conversation and noise outside, which would go on until midnight, time when the hotel was closed. The staff didn't seem to care that there was someone in the room, and it was difficult to sleep and impossible to wake up late. I wouldn't recommended it for solo travellers like me, at least if you want to get a good rest at night.
