Pros: - location: very nice view, very quiet - big terrace with fire place, BBQ - huge shower - coffee machine - emus
Cons: I booked this place with my friends as we wanted to have a quiet weekend to escape the city. We just wanted to enjoy the nice area and have a relaxed night. We mainly booked the apartment as we wanted to use the jacuzzi and the BBQ. We arrived at 6pm and were greeted with the sentence: "Please don't use the jacuzzi and BBQ after 10." which is actually alright but then we noticed that the BBQ was still dirty (the host still had to clean it (at 6pm when check in is at 2pm)) and the jacuzzi wasn't ready to use either. It was completely cold and it takes several hours to warm up. We had our BBQ and checked the jacuzzi every hour but it was still cold at 10. 2 minuets after 10 the host sent a message asking us to be quiet because the other guests were sleeping already. And we were definitely not LOUD we were talking normally. 30 minutes later the other guests came back from a night out(they were obviously not sleeping). So she definitely did not hear us she just sent that message as "prevention". As we paid 200 Dollars for that night we definitely wanted to use the Jacuzzi. At 12 the Jacuzzi was still not hot enough but we jumped in anyway to use it for a little bit at least. We didn't even turn on the whirlpool because that would have been too noisy. A little bit later the host came and shouted at us and threatened us to call the police if we're not leaving the jacuzzi immediately. Also the bathroom was completely wet the host should check as there must be something leaking. We didn't feel very welcome there so we definitely don't recommend staying here.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The place is a dump. With roaches, terrible service and just a waste of time and money. If I had little time I would had moved to any other place. But I only had a short night before my flight in the early morning. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were lovely, 24 hour reception was great given our late arrival
Cons: They have done their best to make over this hotel, however the changes are cosmetic. Room was bare, and bed terribly uncomfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed a few times and the kids love the awesome atmosphere , the popcorn and Lollies lol Staff are always nice too
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and tidy
Cons: Very big long way to walk, a bit of a rabbit Warren.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The entrance had a beautiful bird avery, which I loved. The extra touches of lollies bar and popcorn station was a great idea and much appreciated! We enjoyed both lunch and dinner meals within the restaurant..recommend the club sandwich it was HUGE, big enough for two people! Highly recommend staying here only 5mins away from airport.
7.9 Good
Pros: I loved the humour on signage, the complimentary drinks and chocolate bar in your room
Cons: It’s a very minor critique, somethings needed minor maintenance attention, from birds missing on the outside of doors, to some water leak damage in our bathroom.
7.1 Good
Pros: Newly redesigned this hotel offers excellently decorated rooms and a well designed clean bathroom with open shower with a hand shower and rain shower heads, large luxury tub. They also have a free minibar with soft drinks and water which was very welcoming after a long trip. Free breakfast contained most basic items along with some more fancy items such as an omelet station.
Cons: Naumi hotel had all the appearance to a great hotel but for the price of 320$ for a king bed room was missing major items that should have came with the price. The biggest things missing in our opinion were high quality sheets. The sheets at this hotel were worse than major standard brands like hampton inn, Hilton, etc. they were rough and cheap. Pillows as well were polyester filled and hard. They do have down pillows but when we called to get them they only had one set for the hotel and they were taken. The last thing I will mention is the “hotel shuttle” which is another bus company which stops at multiple hotels, the tickets are $6 per person and they make you pay for these as well. My suggestion is get an uber for 18 and get there in 10 minute ride instead of messing with a long convoluted bus ride.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice bathrooms
Cons: The first time we stayed we got a nicer room for the same price.
10.0 Excellent

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
7.9 Good
Pros: Requested to change room and this was done without any hesitation. Felt more comfortable with new allocation, very comfortable bed. (Complimentary) shuttle service very prompt and efficient.
Cons: Limited choice of light meals at the restaurant. Had the meatballs which were a little tough and tasted as though curry or chili powder had been added to the tomato sauce (not noted on the menu in the ingredients). Not what I was expecting and as these were not accompanied by pasta or rice, nothing to relieve the taste of the sauce.
7.1 Good
Cons: Restaurant meal was tasty but over cooked. No one asked how it was till I was leaving.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, service from staff was very friendly and happy to assist at moment notice. Situated close to airport is great.
Cons: No comment
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: If you expect a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi that not the case. This is the round about of the hotel. Yes yes a bit of a joke. As well the price of the restaurant menu is crazy for what is it. And don’t expect the management to be understanding that not the case. For the price it’s really not worth it and look old. The cleanliness was ok but for a 4 start you expect something perfect that was not the case, the bath had some dirt spot and hair because why not it’s only 140£ the night :)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean fresh - double aspect room very light - friendly welcome
Cons: Noisy tour group congregating outside my room at 4am!
7.0 Good
Pros: Our dinner was quite good.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Not enough choice for room service. Vending machines not working properly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room is spacious, with a comfy bed and bathroom is decent size as well, nice to have the bath option. Having a hot cup of tea before bed was nice, although I wish there was a complimentary bottle of water as well. I only spent one night during a long flight layover, so can't really say much more but overall the hotel is a good option and close enough to airport, just make sure you know exactly where to find the shuttle!
Cons: A complimentary bottle of water in the room would have been nice! I arrived very late and had no coins to use on the vending machines, and they did not accept card. Finding the shuttle was not easy either and because of the late hour, had to resort to a taxi. Shuttle service should be able to book through email in advance and not just through phone, which I didnt have, or through the public phone, which I didnt find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and close to the airport. Great shuttle service and really great that you can leave your car while you’re away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Shuttle service to airport was excellent. Coin laundry facility available on site.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location to airport
Cons: I booked a king bed for my partner and I and instead we got a double bed and a twin bed. Very unsatisfied and when we complained they did not attempt to help. They also gave us a wake up call at 7 am when not requested and tea kettle was broken

7.1 Good
Pros: Location is excellent on main road, 5min from town centre. This is a budget motel and we only stayed here because others were full due to an event. Our room was recently renovated and had an excellent bathroom with large shower, though much of the furnishings were dated and beds were squashed in to cater for larger groups. Good Sky TV.
Cons: tight parking, budget fittings, little cutlery and few plates etc although enough for us, but not enough for a group filling the supplied beds
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Unit was clean and comfortable.
Cons: There were too many beds for the size of the room. This made accessing the wardrobe very difficult. No hook for clothes in the bathroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a newly renovated unit and very comfortable and warm. Lovely shower. Comfortable beds and as we had a two bedroom unit it was lovely to have a bedroom each.
Cons: There was no mobile phone reception which was a nuisance and even though wifi was free it kept dropping off and had to keep signing back in. Parking was hard to back out of.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff very accomadating, our room clean and and great for us and the two children
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location very clean
Cons: Bed was terrible went for most expensive room to have king size bed but bed seemed small and very lumpy
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to find, walking distance to the town, single level unit.
Cons: Nothing except the heating or rather the lack of and this was our fault, we couldn’t get any heat going, used the keypad but obviously did not pick or select the correct settings, fortunately we were not there a lot but when we were, it was cold! Again, our fault, we should have asked!

Cons: Beds were ok but the single bed only had a bottom sheet on the bed and thin bed cover but we were happy as both beds had electric blankets on the bed No local information about local businesses for meals etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The price n the location the freedom. feel just like home. will stay there the next time we visit the area.
Cons: just the cylinder gas bottle outside leaning agaisnt the wall to our bedroom and inside our bed we lay down and our head on the opposite side of the gas bottles.....And we only have one toilet paper...but its ok we buy some for our needs.

5.8 Okay
Pros: To close to their rooms we could hear everything no knifes and pillows weren't good no bag in rubbish bin so we left it on table.never stayed at a homestead b4 Lady was lovely and nice.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is good as not far from Auckland airport on way south . We could Park in the driveway of this residential home. The room and bath were clean. The bathroom looked nice.
Cons: We had pre arranged our late Saturday night arrival with the host, a our plane got in to Auckland airport at 11.20pm. So we called as a arranged when leaving the airport with our hire car at 10 to midnight that we were on the way . When we arrived at the location there was no sign and no light, just a house number, in a residential Street. We stayed a few mins in the driveway unsure if we found the right place. After 2 further calls, my partner checking the address repeatedly, and 2 further attempts to call (no answer), a woman finally opened the door of the house , took cash, showed us the room. We could not make a cup of tea, because there was only a single cup, and no milk. In the early morning we woke to very close sound in the next room and could not go back to sleep. We left without having had our needed rest after a long day travelling, and without even a cup of tea.

Pros: The staff was kind friendly and welcoming with a smile. Lovely service room was immaculate and very clean, peaceful enviroment and very private, wifi working in great condition what i needed .
Cons: I loved everything about Airport Lodge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient considering there were seven of us
4.6 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: The fold out couch was SO uncomfortable. It was old with the surface peeling off. It was too small for two people, and it felt like there was no mattress/springs as it was so hard. I couldn't sleep.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly
Cons: The reception staff need to be really re-trained. It was the most peculiar situation I have come across. The bus person is also the receptionist. So you call for the bus and the receptionist has to drop everything and run to the bus and pick you up. I arrived at 9 at night the person had no interpersonal skills whatever. Next morning same thing, the receptionist had to drop everything to run to the airport with people so that people who had questions lining up at the desk had to wait for him to return from his trip... very odd. They are out to make money without the warm friendliness of the NZ people. A bit hard to take just of the flight from Australia. Out in the sticks no place to by any food at all..
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the airport
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to airport shuttle service is great, staff were very, very friendly and helpful.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The shared kitchen was great. Location is away from shops so you need a car, the view & peaceful surroundings were beautiful
Cons: Shower was a bit small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely. Location was ideal for wedding reception we attended in Karaka.
Cons: Limited parking. Staff on site didn't speak very good English.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice location. Not too far from restaurants. Nice to see the alpacas and ponies. Room clean and comfortable. Had to cancel one night last minute and easy to deal with the daughter.
Cons: Tried to call the property prior to getting there multiple times and no response. However only later realised that we could have texted the daughter who was very quick to respond.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nice linen. Nice decor, but pity it didn’t live up to its potential.
Cons: Room not serviced on arrival had to call owner as she was not on property . No milk in fridge. Tv very limited. Asian owner doesn’t speak English and granddaughter who runs the place never there. Not much communication. Went there on the reviews but disappointed we found the reviews not true. Wouldn’t recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We kept feeling confused because we were so comfortable it felt like home. Super cute room and was great to have our cats with us. Location was nice for us but for some would be too far away.
Cons: Nothing the place was very cute. Only tip would be to maybe provide animal feed so more interaction with the animals. Was a little confused by the kitchen set up as to what was available, there was so much in there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, peaceful location Comfortable and clean accommodation Nice outlook to the countryside and animals
Cons: Nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: The room was comfy and warm using the heat pump
Cons: We had friends joining us for a BBQ we asked for did they have a BBQ a message came back yes. But alas no BBQ we managed to cook a meal on the hot plates using a pan for 6 people. Should have a door into the bathroom not just a tatty curtain. The door fell off into the hot water cylinder cupboard. Nobody home when we arrived at 3.00pm had to guess where we were to put our gear
5.0 Okay
Pros: Didn't have breakfast. Quiet location.
Cons: The outdoor kitchen was a nice idea but too cold to use it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived in the dark and could see it was lovely but what a place to wake up to. The decor is fab and the gardens were sweet. Nice touches with eggs and fruit waiting for us

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and a big size car park
Cons: just a little out dated
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely new kitchen area. Dressing room between bathroom and kitchen was good. Clean.
Cons: Dressing room could have had somewhere to hang clothes up -there was one hook but not enough for three people.Bathroom was small but that was ok the main problem was the big step up into the shower which made it all the more riskier when climbing down. It did have a safety rail but its placement was questionable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were helpful and waited a little after closing time to let us in.
Cons: The bed was hard and low. I can get a sore hip and the bed caused me alot of discomfort. We stayed 3 nights and only slept 3-4 restless hours sleep. The bathroom vanity was made for a extremely short person, you would have to bend considerably to use it. My wife had to do the same and she is 5ft3!! These were the main issues.
6.3 Good
Pros: Only place I have stayed in with a comfy bed
Cons: Needs more parking Bathroom area needs an upgrade Room is very dull with no colours at all
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast??????
Cons: My unit was very overpriced for what it was. Electric blanket on one side of bed not working. Very noisy neighbours in next unit at 6.45 am Fresh milk in fridge would have been nice. Very disappointed to find on the day I was booked in for and had paid for at time of booking, same units were available for $14.00 less than what I had paid. Pretty peeved about that, particularly if you read my first comment in the block.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, and it was easy to get to the airport from there. I thought it might have been noisy with it being on a busy road, but it wasn't at all. We were able to have a drink and meal across the road at the Irish Bar and Restaurant.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was close to venue, shopping centre and the venue we were attending
Cons: Bathroom door had the lock on the outside of the door.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Size of the room. Complementary bus to and from airport
Cons: Hard beds, faulty shower head, the room finishing was rough particularly in the bathroom. Strong smell of bleach in the room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location to airport was good. The receptionist was welcoming and allowed us into the room 1.5 hours earlier than the 2pm check in time.
Cons: The shower head was broken. The curtain had a large rip in it. The room was basic but relatively clean. Carpet was very worn.
7.5 Good
Pros: Didn't have breakfast due to Late arrival and Early departure time. Only used room to shower and to sleep for 5 hours
Cons: Sleep broken by another person clumping their baggage down the stairs at 5 am. PS disappointed there was No Glassware or Bottled drinking water in room.

10.0 Excellent

6.3 Good
Pros: Not far from the airport. Free bus and kind of big room for two people. Beds were pretty comfortable.
Cons: The hotel is so old. Everything, furniture, shower, it feels so old and that somebody else used it like million times. Doesn’t look clean. For one night great choice to stay there. But for more nights, I wouldn’t recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good outlook to the garden Great restaurant
Cons: No
5.0 Okay
Pros: *Shuttle to airport.
Cons: *Staff shouting to each other at 5.30am waking guests. *Inter-joining partition to next room meant we could hear every word they said. *Bed sheets with marks on them. *Customer service disappointing. *Breakfast disappointing, with stale bread/muffins.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is very near to some establishments when you need something to buy. I didn't get to see the restaurant since we're too tired when we arrived and left early in the morning.
Cons: The bathroom has molds and the bed sheet on one of the beds has yellow stains. It looks very old... you get what you paid for. The pool was not available for use during our stay perhaps because Spring has just started and it's still cold.
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent service and easy pickup and drop off at the airport.
Cons: Facility starting to show its age and lot of airport noise at night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Free shuttle with prompt collection to and from airport. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice sheets. Excellent water pressure in shower. Quite spacious for an airport hotel. Good buffet breakfast, reasonably priced.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The fridge was not cleaned out as someone had left their half empty smoothie juice in there. Made it uncomfortable as we did not feel the room was overall thoroughly cleaned.
6.7 Good
Pros: We were looking for somewhere to stay really for only about 6 hours that didn't break the bank. Comfy beds, clean room, tea & coffee facilities, and a hot shower. Did what we needed it to do.
Cons: We rew lucky on timings but be aware that there's no reception from 10pm. We had a transfer bang on 10 so no issue but later than that would have been a problem.
6.7 Good
Cons: The shower was not fit for purpose. The head of the shower was not correct. The head was pointing at right angles to the wall and could not be adjusted. Poor maintainence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet
7.9 Good
Cons: When booking ask if the shuttle will be needed and what times are pick up and from where. When I rung to get picked up we were a group of 4 then there was another lady waiting so we all had to cram in 4 in the back seat we all didn’t have a safety belt then when we wanted a taxi to the airport we had to go at different times.
6.7 Good
Pros: The bedding was crisp and clean.
Cons: Run down and in need of repair eg basin tap loose and flopping around. Stained chair in the room was off-putting. All areas generally in need of a good clean. No soap or shampoo provided.
