service was as described, staff was friendly. overall good experience. the family room was a bit tight , but fine for the night we needed. the place did not have anything for kids, although we came in winter and thus we did not make use of the garden at the back of the hotel. wine pairing was quite good with food if you select the option. the food menu has some pretty appealing choices. kids menu was pretty nice
no kids corner in door (we did not ask though).
Breakfast and food we’re good and value for money. Service was good and the staff pleasant and professional.
Rooms are in need of modernisation or an upgrade.
Excellent restaurant with English translations.
Bedroom a little tired and in need of updating
Excellent restaurant although the second night service was slow due to large birthday party in the events room. Location ideal for those exploring the WW1 artefacts. Plentiful parking. Fully opening windows for fresh air with lovely views over the countryside.
Our room was a disappointment. In need of refreshing. Eccentric electrics with main room light switch controlling power sockets as well. En suite very tired and in need of re-furbishment.
The reception rooms are wonderful. Massive lounge and restaurant area. The food was very acceptable and the staff very attentive but not overpowering
Unfortunately they did not have any rooms with walk in showers. As mobility is suspect for me, I was disappointed. There is no lift either, so although staff kindly carried the case for us, this was not ideal. The shower over the bath may have been acceptable but there were no safety grab rails. No hairdryer either. So that was the room and it's facilities. Not exactly what I would expect from a Logis establishment.
With a stay at Le Prieuré in Rancourt, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Museum of the Great War and Delville South African Memorial. Free self parking is available onsite.
