The Kyriad was clean and comforable and the staf most helpful. Coupled with a reasonable price.
Best Breakfast in a French 2* ever! Very friendly, efficient staff.
Friendliness and helpfull staff Epinal is not the most exciting city to visit. However very good for a stop on a trip to southern Europe
Convenient location for a good night out Nothing at all to mention
location was quiet, and the food and service were very good, the room was also very good.
The food was excellent. Secure parking for motorbike.
No Internet acces
Spacious and comfortable rooms with very nice beds and bathrooms. For those traveling from the us, it is very similar in amenities to us hotels. Air conditioning was very weak.
I slept very well and had a good breeakfast. That was all.
quick reception.comfort of the room. very good food and service
Comfortable and air conditioned rooms. Garage available. Restaurant on site. Good weekend rate paid through booking.com. Breakfast could have been better for price.
Clean pratical and good stop over. Close to bars, resturants etc. Shower was great, mirror in bathroom great from womens point of view. NO
Easy to find and close to the main shopping area. On site parking The number of people gathering outside to drink during the day and evening
Please see my article on Tripadvisor.co.uk Lack of English speaking television channels.
Close to town center The food and the restaurant were rubbish and expensive. The room was tiny. The beds were as hard as rock. The smell of rotting fish coming from the bathroom the moment u entered the room was revolting. We would never stay there again.
Location was central for the town Tramps outside, rats on pavement outside, hotel was dated
Convenient, takes pets, good price Room isn't very attractive; toilet bowl needs to be cleaned
Convenient Uninspiring and souless
The staff was really helpfull in information. I really did enjoyed the stay.
The room swere terribly cold !!!!
The restaurant situated by the golf course. Brilliant in the morning!
An horrible smell of tobacco in the room
nice hotel manager, good location, beautiful environment (les ballons). breakfast, no toilet in jouw room
Town centre location, character of building, helpfulness of all staff, garage facility, value for money. no
The staff were great, friendly, limited English but we had a laugh communicating.I would recommend this hotel to anybody, friends, collegues, family. We are still awaiting our Boiled Eggs ordered at breakfast, staff and chicken obviously very busy but a very small hiccup,I would certainly stay there again. Many Thanks..
Clean, helpful staff, good breakfast but expensive. Did not have free internet.
central location; access to restaurants, shopping, and city facilities.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the hotel, which was of good quality, but please ask the chef to heat the plates because the food was not as hot as it should have been. The double bed was somewhat uncomfortable. The window did not close tightly enough, letting in cold air and some road noise.
The Hotel staff were very nice, the location was quite far from the SKI resort but given the quality and cleanness it completely worth it. If you want to go SKI to La Bresse or Gerardmer take this route towards the resorts : Hotel--Val D'Ajol--Remiermont--Cornimont--La Bresse or for Gerardmer after passing Remiermont follow the signs for Gerardmer Otherwise the GPS may guide you through some mountain roads that could be blocked in winter!
Quietness of location.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The buffet selection at breakfast was good. One of the restaurants nearby was really very good. This is not about the hotel but about the nearby restaurant which appeared to be closed on a Friday.Given they are mentioned in the description it would be nice to have some indications on any limitations of service.
The hotel is clean and welcoming, the staff excellent. We felt really welcome and enjoyed our one night. None
The welcome and overall care we received was of a very high standard Both restaurants close to the hotel were closed and we had to get a taxi to Epinal to eat. Some food available at the hotel would have helped. We plan to spend a cycling holiday in France next year and would stay at the Atrium if there was food available nearby.
The owner was very friendly; we had a problem with our car and he immediately tried to arrange help. Internet, though not wireless, was free and fast. Very big rooms with big bathrooms. Nice breakfast buffet. The hotel is on a fairly big, rather ugly street, but the parking lot is safe and for those who are just there for one night, this shouldn't be a problem.
The welcome was warm all staff helpful and polite room hugh and welcoming clean and fresh I was impressed very good value for money
Clean and in good repair throughout. Management and staff are hospitable and helpful (if you need anything, just ask!). Plenty of parking space. Charming interior open patio space and a generally warm decor. Breakfast is above average in quality for this category of hotel. Overall: good value for money.
acceptable considered the price. rather sad.
Excellent quality of service from the proprietors. Cleanliness and comfort of the room.
Bathroom was nice No fan in room and was very hot
Wonderful welcome The evening meal looked beautiful, but the flavours were disappointing. Atmosphere, wine and service were excellent though
attractive building, well-kept garden, good location and excellent food
We had a memorable stay at your hotel. The ambience was very satisfying. The nice town and the beautiful countryside are an important asset.
The restaurant was fabulous, as were the staff of the restaurant. The hotels location was great. Their huge garden was idillic and I'm sure the swimming pool was also very good. The room we stayed in was a family room in the attic of the house, though there were only 2 of us, and could have been anywhere. It felt like a motel room and we paid the highest price expecting a romantic French bedroom. It really tainted our stay and would put us off from staying again. We did ask for another room only to be met with the a typical galic shrug to say they were full, which I am sure they were not.
the food was great and staff friendly. Nice garden. enjoyed the swimming pool
Nice hotel with next door house used as annex for more bedrooms. Lovely grounds with tennis court, trees, lawns. Good indoor swimming pool and sauna. Very good restaurant - excellent cooking for dinner and relaxed breakfast. The decor is getting slightly worn and in need of renovation.
very good, but the beds are very bad
a grand old hotel with modernised comfortable rooms and a high star experience. excellent shower, good breakfast, friendly staff. attention to detail shows throughout. hotel was faultless, although the town of Plombiers is small and sleepy with little to do outside of the spa facilities.
Beautiful old architecture, big and stylish, modern bedroom, good food, peaceful. Setting for a movie! bed too short. Breakfast so so, not all serving staff very friendly.
Large, well equiped room and excellent bathroom. Very friendly staff with very high standard of customer care. Unfortunately we did not have time to visit the beautiful spa as we were attending a wedding on Saturday and it was closed on Sunday. Television in room did not receive any english speaking channels apart from a very fuzzy news channel.
nicely renovated bath room. Fresh fruit juice
The view and everything, location No
the service in the restaurant was slow at evening, in the morning there was not enough warm milk nor scrambled eggs provided
Good location, parking, remodeled rooms and bathroom and on site restaurant. No help with luggage
excellent restaurant in the same location (downstairs - reservation recommended)
The establishment deserves old details and the hotel room is big enough. The garden should be beautiful during summer time.We also ate in the restaurant and it was really good for value. The breakfast was expensive.
Proximity of good restaurant. Very shabby, delapidated and unmaintained. When booking, I had asked to be booked into their restaurant for dinner, to find on arrival that it was nothing to do with the hotel, they don't seem to speak to each other and we almost missed out on dinner (restuarnt excellent!). Dingy basement for mediocre breakfast. Not again! Ad is very unclear that there is no hotel restuarant, it implies there is.
Friedly faminly staff and beautiful arts decorated the whole mansion facinates the guest.
An excellant experience in a unique town center hotel with an excellant attached gourmet restaurant.
Very friendly hotel staff even through the language barrier!
therw was a large screen TV, there was a balcon,
good location in town, friendly and helpful reception, quit room on the backsite of the hotel painting and furniture needs some upgrading, beds are quite small and hard
Good value for money, big bathroom, clean but the furniture and decoration is old. However, for a short stay or trip, it is a very good choice.
It was in a good position for the town It was understaffed
friendly staff always
They were very adequate for our requirements as we were only there about 5 hours. Having to phone someone to be able to check in before 6pm.
Clean hotel, enough space in the room, nice breakfast and a charming couple that run their family business. The hotel is a half hour drive away from La Bressa a nice skiing area.
For a 2 star the decor and room size etc were totally as expected, and could probably do with a refresh. But nonetheless were perfectly comfortable. The restaurant is a gem though - excellent menu cooked and presented superbly by the owner and his wife. Extremely helpful and courteous. Great location for walking etc
Despite we were 3, I booked a family room for 4 persons. On the room there was only 2 beds (a double bed and a single one). The hotel refused to provide us an extra bed despite I have booked a family room for 4 persons. Moreover, the continental breakfast does not include any "continental breakfast" characteristics.
I loved the food!
Amazing location a very peaceful. Dinner menu for all 3 courses was excellent. Rooms are basic but comfortable and ours was huge and very bright with great views. Definitely need a sat nav to find it...though that could be a good thing.
Location was superb.
If you like seclusion this is for you in the middle of the forest it was peaceful and quiet. It was not easy to find particularly when the nearby main road was badly sign posted with major road works
This is an hotel to go to if you want to get away from it all. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was of a high standard.
The food was fantastic I recommend the trout fish dish it was brilliant it was so tasty I could eat about 20000000 portions!!!!!!!
The rural position which was quiet and isolated, ideal for walking and trekking. The rooms were adequate, although the bed linen and towels were to a high standard of cleanliness. However, the welcome and general attitude by staff was to a poor standard. Equally, the food quality could only be termed as adequate, far from being gourmet.
it is what it is!! A good value, no fuss hotel.
The experience was very good. The Hotel is clean and not expensive, the staffvery friendly.
Room much poor than on photos. Breakfast is poor. Used-opened cans for sweet jam on table. Declared distance from La Bresse is much more in reality. Upleasant impression in general.
Tha staff was friendly, the room clean, the breakfast excellent. It's good value for the money.
