Good plain accommodation, with everything there that you need. Not luxurious but then the price was reasonable. The food was not good. We didnt try the exspensive restaurant as the food at the buffet wasnt great.
great rooms, very clean, so quiet.good breakfast Big Hotel
Very good restaurant Services e.g. spa, golf, were 'add-on i.e. hotel did not offer a package service
We went to Dolce Chantilly to get away and have a break, to relax and unwind. Exactly what we achieved. When we previously stayed at the hotel they had a buffet dinner on in L'Etoile Restaurant whichwe would have liked to have seen on again.
Hotel very clean, but too large.
The overall looks and environment of the hotel The very expensive breakfast
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was functional Institutional feel, noisy air handling equipment and no access to local town.
The breakfast was overpriced and cold
Very friendly and efficient without being obtrusive Very annoying being woken up by greenkeeper at 6 am outside window mowing golf course with noisy machine. Too early to wake guests in my opinion. He should do far side of course away from hotel first. I would recommend hotel but would warn people about noisy golf course maintenance
A marvellous location, excellent comfort and services, reasonable rate, nice wellness center, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.
Close to motorway so convenient for overnight stay on long journey Rooms very basic and no evening meals available. Very cheap but like EasyJet or Ryan Air, very basic.
We got there at around 11 PM, tried to check in, the automated machine didn't accept any of our card. It was like 40 F outside, two kids crying, 6-7 luggages. We gave the price of the room to the security guy so he let us in. than the room was very very disappointed, small, cigarette smell, the blankets didn't seem clean so we stayed in our clothes during the night.
The room had an overhead bed which I did not like and I banged my head on the support as there wasn't enough room and the power didn't work in the morning so I couldn't dry my hair
As we arrived in the night, we had to pay in the automatic payment machine outside, which wouldn't accept any of our group's credit cards. We luckily found a security guard who let us in after paying him cash for the price of our rooms.
I have problem with my credit card, your maschine didn't read my card and there is no help, nobody can help me, and that is very big problem. What pepole can do when your maschine didnt read card which is 100 % good and work in other card maschine. Watch out for this problem !!!
Due to the design of its building it is somewhat noisy at night. It is not the place for a real early night.
I was just passing throug, and it was close to the highway The uppersheet was to narrow, and I don´t like sleeping with/touching the blanket. Dosn´t seem too clean
Room smelt off smoke. Bathroom was tiny.
Quick check in no soap in the bathroom
entironment is very good, room is clean. Silence. Breakfast is more better than the other hotel. No
Hotel staff were very friendly although not all of them in the restaurant/bar spoke English which made things a bit more difficult
Setting and building were beautiful, staff very courteous, proximity to airport without airport prices, room was very nice and clean, beds comfortable. We can find nothing poor to say about the building, staff and setting. The meal, although tasty and with a nice presentation was a little sparse and the wine portions a little light. The second glass of wine was particularly light and was poured at the table by the waiter into the same glass rather than brought in a fresh glass from the bar.
staff and ambience
Food in bar not hot enough. Menu a bit narrow and exotic.
Secure, quiet and well maintained hotel that is ver convienent to Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris. I am sorry that I did not plan for more time to spend at the location. Absolutely no complaints.
Convenient to C.D.g airport but much classier than the usual airport hotels. Currently there are renovations taking place but they did not detract from the luxurious accomodation and although my evening meal was quite expensive it was worth every cent.
Not too far from CDG and better than the chain hotels at this airport.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and cooperative NA
Location for the parc asterix site. Price was good compared to uk hotel Eating dinner was not a good experience, orders were wrong and when they did get it right, 10 minutes later they realised they had run out of one dish! Bill was a complete cock up.
Although we arrived just after the restaurant had closed, they held a table for us so that we could eat after a long journey. The staff were very friendly, and really seemed to enjoy their job. No. It was excellent value for money.
Yours was the only hotel we visited in three weeks in France with tea and coffee facilities in the room - always welcome! Well presented Buffet too Perhaps a more obvious signage for the hotel -
I liked the chalet style of room with own front door. food was good value and excellent. Pet dog was welcome. Can't think of anything important.
The restaurant was above average - quite good. Staff was helpful with a small problem. Location near and good access to DeGaulle airport was very helpful. Senlis is an attractive and historic city.
no nonsense, just what we need
The staff were very good. I arrived at 2150 and dinner finished at 2200. I was told that I could still check into my room, stow my lugage etc and still have a meal if I wanted one from the non a la carte menu.
The rooms were clean and an extra bed in the room accomodated a child. Free Wifi was great for the teenagers. Rooms were serviced with clean towels left every day. Buffet breakfast was good, plenty of variety. Restaurant food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Paper cups for tea and coffee. Although rooms accomodated 3 only 2 cups and 2 of the small individual milk cartons were left each day each day.
clean functional rooms, good bar area, buffet breakfast v good. would have appreciated being able to book a family room - because of cost.
Clean room, very good and modern bathroom. Staff could be more forthcoming. Value for money. Reception staff not particularly friendly or willing to answer questions.
very clean hotel and friendly staff restaurant not open in the evening
very clean and up-to-date, set away from traffic noise, good breakfast, plenty of parking well suited to travellers with a car, but would be difficult to get to if relying on public transport, as it it 4km from town centre
They accommodated us and our bicycles extremely well. Unfortunately it is/was a little too far out of town therefore not close to many nice restaurants.
I was nicely surprised by the hotel. It was much better than I expected. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was O.K. with a traditional continental style. The staff were approachable and friendly.
The staff were helpful with the problem we had. We had insects in our room and had to change rooms twice
The hotel was confortable, clean and well equipped The closing door in the aisle was noisy when closing
Nicely located wrt Compiegne, Pierrefonds
Nice hotel well placed close to main roads , very friendly staff . Breakfast expensive and gates on car park not working
The owner of this establishment went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasurable. She arranged a time in the morning for our gourmet breakfast of fresh pastries, yogurt, quality coffee, orange juice, breads and cheese. She was always available to provide local information and suggestions; even to arrange a booking for dinner. The property contains an eclectic collection of art that adorn the very tastefully decorated rooms which reflect the period of the building and surrounding architecture. Speaking of the architecture, this establishment is located in the heart of the most picturesque French village you could imagine. Right next to one of the 13th century churches, it has immediate access to bakeries, delicatessens, restaurants and a town marketplace that runs twice a week. The breakfast could have included a little fresh fruit.
no breakfast included in the rate of the room
Receptionist was friendly and helpful The decor looks and smells old, with badly lit corridors which are unpleasant. The TV was a portable, about 10 years old, with poor reception - strange, considering the 3 satellite dishes outside the window :-((
very good location near to town centre and chateau, close to station and only 25mins from Paris Gare du Nord etc. Fine hotel, but I don't think you should have to pay for out-door car-parking at back of the hotel, especially at weekends.
It was within walking distance of Chanitlly racecourse Tried to call reception but no one ever answered the phone!
the location of this hotel is good easy access to all of chantilly chateaux race course restaurants bars museum breakfast too pricey shower curtain was missing in one of our rooms asked for one but it did not arrive
The location was good, very comfortable room, quick lift, interesting reception area, light and airy breakfast room. Nice, soft water in bathroom. We stayed in August when many staff possibly on holiday. But the gardens looked neglected. Flowers and lawns in the town much better looked after. One out of three lights in the bedroom did not work. We expected housekeeping to put right - but not done. Towels rather thin - not worn out but just of poor quality. Soap could easily be better. Almost too small to get hold of and no perfume at all. A sign (small card in the bathroom) to say 'unperfumed soap available from reception' would enable the majority of us to have a small, hotel-size tablet of Roger and Gallet soap or Bronnley ( who make soap for Harrods I think, from Brackley, UK) and enjoy using.Breakfast was all right but uninteresting..Hotel's Indian restaurant was not good at all!
Efficient and well-run. Was happy to re-book for a return overnight stop.
The hotel was very handy for Parc Asterix and in the middle of Chantilly, near restaurants and the Chateux
Large, clean, well appointed rooms No bar
quick check-in, friendly front-desk at 9:30 already no croissants / toast. breakfast not good value for money.
spacious room and warm room no kettle and no late check out. Unfriendly staffs.
staff were very pleasant the rooms smelt of cigarette smoke. They were badly lit and the decoration was very dreary
the flat screen tv. the receptionist was very kind and helpful. the bed had slats broken and it was not comfortable at all. the rooms were not entirely clean, and it was overpriced for the amenties received.
large room compare to the price.
Nothing in particular stands out some peeling wallpaper in the bathroom
Convenient location, as it is 10 min walk to the train station.
We stayed in a family room, more an appartment. Very good value for money. Confortable, clean, quiet. Beds were good. -
size of the room was great, good parking, good location too expensive for what you get, also children were a bit scared as the hotel was a bit creepy with red wallpaper and very dark
A nice location near to the centre of Compiegne, but by the river. There was a smell of paint because they were decorating.
3 star grading seems generous for this hotel. dark interior, hot , no air con
lendroit et le batiment le tapis plein,la peinture de la chambre ainsi que sa grandeur.pas d'endroit pour déposer la valise
Beautiful Chateau in charming Chantilly area! Extra special with the golden leaves of autumn! You must look around their grounds. Whilst superb quality, the restaurant was pricey...
The front desk staff was impeccable. The bar staff lacked personality and the menu left much to be desired. The room was disappointing as there was no character associated with the rest of the hotel.
The staff was vary friendly and helpful. It would be helpful if there was a check in possible by at least 1200. Most US tourists arrive at CDG very early in the AM.
Loverly setting good restaurant and swimming pool. 5pm check in not too good considering check out is 12 noon.
location, food They gave us a twin not a double - no champagne on arrival.
the bed rooms we did not see a lounge only the bar
Despite being very busy with conferences, the staff and kitchen performed at a high standard. Cuisine is definitely worth a Michelin star - we had a first class menu with all dishes well prepared and presented - and the prices for fine wines are as reasonable as they may be in France. Lovely ground, quiet, and quite efficient staff. For us a far more pleasant alternative to fighting the traffic from Paris en route to an early flight from CDG. Staff generously upgraded us. It seems a bit understaffed; this feeling may relate to our late arrival in the afternoon.
A grand chateau hotel with good facilities in an excellent location. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which also helped us enjoy our stay. The service in the dining room did not match that of the rest of the hotel or the standard of the food it served, which deserved better.
Very nice location and setting. The main building is historically interesting. The staff were friendly, and the room (in the main building)was large and comfortable, with the exception of some rather strange designer chairs. Nothing was quite as it seemed. The bar was luxuriously appointed, with a pleasant outdoor area, but service was intermittent - someone turned up every now and then to have a look. Bar prices are extremely high - would have been ok if the service had matched them. The (free) Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived, and it came as a surprise to the staff when it reappeared the next (Sunday) morning. There was a weird emphasis on security - a barrier at the main entrance when we returned to the hotel at about 9.30 pm, with one security man to take the car registration number, and another in the reception area. Perhaps a VIP was dining. For the room price, air-conditioning might have been expected, but was absent.
Quiet and comfortable with helpful staff. Good link with local restaurant for evening meal. Difficult to find SatNav and many locals did not recgonise the address. The cinema next door would be a good way to locate this hotel.
Made my stay very enjoyable None can think of
Roomps were very clean Hotel does not register in gps and was very difficult to find
The shower!!! and the hotel cleanliness, overall the facilities of the hotel were good. The bed was very comfortable too! The location of the hotel can be a trouble if you don't have a car, although you can always call a taxi (11 euros cost a taxi from the hotel to the train station). Also, the lack of enough hooks to hang towels in the bathroom make the space available near the basin a bit messy.
Excellent Accor Group hotel. Great view of the countryside. Modern, clean, well-designed. Walking distance to cinema, eating (in an out-of-town shopping zone). Good breakfast. Everything included in the price - WiFi, TV, breakfast. Spacious room - I took the family room (28m2) for two people for 119 euros and it was great value for money. Can't think of anything.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern hotel - very clean. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast included. Secure car park. None!
Desk staff excellent. Cleanliness. Gym. 10 mins from E15 so great for north south trip. In an out of town shopping centre. Quiet no wall between bedroom and bathroom
The hotel offered us value for money with a clean room and shower. However ir was not too easy to find given the street address was incorrect.
Big rooms and nice design. Friendly people great car parking nice sauna
the cleanliness of the room, the restaurants and fast food around we had to wait to get a shuttle, wait to get our room though we booked it online, the attitude of the staff, the wi-fi was announced working and free but it was extremely complicated to get it
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the quality of the food and proximity to the locations we were visiting. Kettle in room didn't work.
Clean and friendly
The food was poor quality and poorly prepared and did not reach minimum standards to be reasonably expected in a hotel.
The receptionist was excellent - friendly and helpful.
late arrival, and the possibilty to have a late diner increase the size of the wording on the bottles of shampoo and shower gel,I do not wear spectacles when I take a shower !
letting my dog chase the rabbits one very arrogant french waiter
Nice Park and very quite The communication to the hotel and restaurant service was tough because of missing language skills- French only. The service in the restaurant was boring slow. The maid stepped into my room without knocking two times!
Swimming pool and restaurant facility. Pet friendly - excellent grounds for walking pets. The air conditioning in the bedroom did not work and it was over 36 degrees outside. We had to buy so much water to keep cool - the hotel should have provided water and ice free of charge to compensate for the lack of air conditioning on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year! None of our party slept that night due to the stifling heat in the room.
The cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms. n/a
Superb service, the host could not have been more helpful. Stunning view from hotel window of castle and lake. Excelent value for money ensuite rather cramped. Let them know in advance if a guest has mobility probems.
The situation of the Hotel is excellent with views and lake and castle from the front. There was lots to do in the surrounding area. The Castle is well worth a visit, as is the site of the signing of the armistice a short drive away. The welcome was less than effusive. The rooms were adequate but basic. The room tab system was chaotic. Check the bill carefully to make sure that you haven't been charged for meals and drinks you haven't had. The restaurant food was poor and overpriced. The villagewas very touristy during the daytime.
Very clean room, mattress with good support (not self-evident in French hotel rooms in my experience), a magnificient view of the castle from the room, several small cafe around the lake (which is 10m from the hotel) to spend the evening.
The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect, it overlooked the lake and castle.
Hotel was clean, our room was clean/tidy and the bathroom obviously fairly recently been refurbished, shower was excellant and the added addition of the hairdryer was a bonus, however it may be an idea to add this to the room specification, as this is something we look for when booking a hotel usually. the view from mroom 321 was great
i had booked 2 double rooms and before i went there i tried to change one for a single room as one of the people could not travel and they said they had none, but when we were checking in another couple came in looking for a room and the girl at receptionist said they only had a single. my mum ended up paying for a double room and my 2 friends ended up staying in a double room.
The room was big and has had a convenient bathroom. Nothing
The hotel was very clean and well presented. The rooms on the front have a great view of the Castle and lake. The two rooms my daughter and I were given were large enough, but would have been very crowded if two people were occupying each of them. The shower cubicle was the smallest I have ever stepped into in many years of travelling. Any movement to soap yourself made your body push off the water tap. The receptionist gave us the wrong key code for the front door, therefore, when we returned at 10.30pm, we could not get in. The bell for assistance had been turned off and, had we not been lucky enough to be around when other guests with the correct code arrived, well, I hate to think what we would have done.
Perfect location with a lovely view of the castle and the lake. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and appeared to have been recently redone. The wifi worked without any problems. We had no problems with public parking across the street from the hotel (November 1st). The downside of having a room with a view of the castle is that it is on the street side and it is a little noisy, but in no way a deal breaker.
We stay in family room for 4 people and the room has decent size. Hotel for overnight stay and it's convenient, that there are near by restaurants for have a dinner The smell in the shower/toilet room, it was clean, but the smell was horrible, like in airplane toilet
very accessable from motorway, clean and simple. B'fast just what needed. Car is secure. no kettle in room
Clean, inexpensive, located near many restaurant options Kind of annoying to have to remember a code instead of having a key
The location is great for travelling to CDG airport. The room was spotless, great value for money. The hotel seems to be fairly new, so bathroom was lovely and fresh.
Basic Hotel, with all required facilities and restaurants nearby. Transportat
The hotel is very easy to get to, the gentleman at reception was very helpful and friendly. We were travelling with our dog and were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was clean & secure. Nothing bad to say! :O)
Very pleasant proprieter
located close to the GDC airport....good value for the money....has an computerized check in system after hours, so don't forget your booking number if you have one
The hotel was clean, the breakfast was average to poor. Location to the Autobahn. The breakfast menu was not to normal continental breakfast standards..cereal, rolls butter and jam. no meat, cheese or eggs.
Close to the airport and very helpful people during our stay A little hard to find and pillows are really hard.
Newly built, clean & tidy, staff helpful & friendly good value for money None
The hotel rooms were very modern and clean. staff were very helpfull
Out of the way in nice setting but easy to get to from Aix. Very helpful staff. Very nice "resort like" athmosphere.
wacky room, alternative food options, free parking. Free internet actually everywhere, not just in public areas (too many hotels claim "WIFI everywhere" when it is not the case) my stay coincided with a sales reps' training meeting - nice for the hotel I realise but irritating to be surrounded by smell of cheap after-shave
very convenient for Chantilly town and out of town shopping centre the room was a bit on the small side relative to what it costs
value for money
Restaurant food was much better than the last Campanile I stayed at - a very pleasant surprise. This however does not justify the increased rates for "New Generation" Campaniles - all the other changes should be part of the normal maintenance of the facilities. Although it was a "Next Generation" Campanile it looked rather run down from the outside. Paint was peeling off the outside stairways and walkways, the fan on the kitchens was very noisy (needed urgent maintenance to stop disturbing guests) & even the large Campanile logo was crooked! The room was fine (if you .like green) except for a confusing switch for the bathroom heater and a few loose fittings (e.g coathooks and shower head rail).
Courtesy and quietness Room light bulbs U/S on arrival but quickly replaced on request.
Good standard as always. None
Nothing special. Was a very short overnight stay. For this kind of hotel it was surprising there was a waterboiler set in the room for making coffee/tea. The heating was shut down (or broken?) in the morning.
Freshly laundered linen, warm room. Very clean and good power shower with hot water. Secure parking. Functional room. I was happy to pay in cash but no receipt was offered nor given . Since this was our first stay at this hotel chain I was unaware if this was normal. I was a little uneasy but we enjoyed the stay and thought it was good value for money.
