10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful and well stocked. Loved the idea of the continental breakfast already in the room so no need to meet others timetable. Grocery store and restaurant in walking distance. Owner incredibly helpful. Great experience!!
Cons: The ability to get ice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room at Rose Cottage - it is perfectly located near to the airport and felt like a small haven on our night before leaving Ireland. The layout of the room was quite lovely and the small kitchen area was set up with food and treats to enjoy so that we could make it out for our flight. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful - we had a major issue (quite out of anyone's control) just before leaving and they went absolutely above and beyond to ensure that our morning went smoothly and we made it to the airport on time.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was the nicest accommodation I’ve stayed in for some time.Rose cottage was so comfy and luxurious. Everything was thought of. I would highly recommend it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They provide you with killer TV, very modern bathroom, and the perfect breakfast to be out the door to the airport in a hurry.
Cons: Only thing I’d like is a top sheet. Might be an American thing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room with all the amenities required. Food provided for breakfast was great. Very handy location to Dublin airport.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed our first night in Ireland here after an evening arrival at the airport and before driving out to the west coast. It was a wonderful stay, start to finish. The rooms are so thoughtfully planned, and had everything we might've needed and more (umbrellas to borrow! makeup remover! orange juice and fresh milk in the mini-fridge!). There's a nice walking path just outside the cottage, too - we went for a long walk in the morning before we hit the road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A continental breakfast was provided that included coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, cheese and a variety of snacks that was great. A charming cottage on the outside revealed a luxurious and up to date room that catered to your every need and more. A wonderful bathroom with great water pressure, instant hot water and large shower with everything (shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner) you could possibly need brought this room to an excellence beyond a 10+ rating. All the details were there. We thoroughly enjoyed the room in The Rose Cottage. Plus the location was extremely good for access to Dublin airport and downtown Swords. The proprietor was wonderful, answered all our questions and was very helpful
Cons: Everything was great!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our check in was perfect. We arrived by cab and was able to get into our room right away. We only there one night and wished it was more. We had to leave early for the airport so kept saying we wished we could take our time and enjoy the beautiful breakfast that was there for us. Truly fantastic! Will definitely go again!
Cons: There was nothing really. A little far from everything but really that was not an issue as both of our cab drivers knew just where to go and drop us off and pick us up!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was gorgeous and comfortable
Cons: Wifi was a bit spotty
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful room; excellent decor. The owner was very helpful in all ways and provided us recommendations that led to the most fun night of our 2-week stay in Ireland.
Cons: No complaints or suggestions.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were there just overnight before going to the Dublin airport the next day for a flight home Attlee 2 weeks in Ireland. The hosts were very attentive to our needs, gave us detailed directions and a map for getting to the airport. I loved that we were able to order breakfast the night before so our food was ready when we arrived in the dining area.
Cons: I can’t think of a thing...everything was very nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent bed, hosts, breakfast, location.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jimmy and Mary, the breakfast, and the grounds were wonderful! The place is adorable, but you need a car to get around (which we had). I loved the stay and would stay again :)
Cons: nothing!
7.0 Good
Pros: The owners were very friendly and helpful with directions and choosing a dinner restaurant. The location couldn't have been better for proximity to the Dublin airport.
Cons: The only downfall were the beds -- they were really, really uncomfortable. They might have been fine for children but not for adults. It was our last night in Ireland and we had to get up early to catch a flight out. I don't think either one of us slept much at all. Too bad, because the place looked lovely.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful hosts! Great location of looking for something close to airport/Dublin but don’t mind not being in the city. Fantastic breakfast! Lots of extras in the room - fruit, tea, jams, butter, biscuits, etc. Cozy room.
Cons: Thought when booking the family suite it had two separate sleeping spaces. But all beds were in one room, so just something to be aware of.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect if you had your own transport. The hosts we're fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb hosts
Cons: Nothing it’s was fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were great! Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Loved our short time there. We would highly recommend staying there. Go for more than one night though!
Cons: I wish we had stayed there more than one night!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely property we stayed here in 2016 and would stay here again
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying with Mary and Jimmy is like staying with old friends. They couldn't do enough....directions, eating suggestions, Irish whiskey before bed, choice of 6 or 7 things for breakfast. If we took the bus into Dublin, they were willing to drive us to the bus rather than leave a car. How many B & B do it?
Cons: They only own this -1- B & B. Would have loved to have stayed longer or in another city with them!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything it’s super

Pros: Olive is a wonderful hostess. We were greeted warmly on arrival & taken to our room. It was comfortable and cozy in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of options. When we left for the airport we were given directions that kept us away from early morning commuter traffic & that was a welcome time saver.
Cons: No complaints but visitors should be prepared to travel to town for meals, scenery, and events. The location, however, is only a quick drive to Malahide Castle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely helpful hostess.
Cons: Bathroom was pretty tight but functional and clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean B&B. Large selection at breakfast in a very peaceful room looking into the garden. My son enjoyed playing and running in the large garden. Olive and Henry are very friendly and hospitable and gave excellent advice. We also had a brilliant time at Malahide Castle which we would highly recommend.

The place was so easy to find. We used Waze app. Bed comfy and breakfast amazing. We stayed at 5 B&B in Ireland throughout the trip and this stay was the best out of all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment I booked till the morning we left, we received the best of attention and courtesy - the directions were very useful! The cottage (an annex to the main house) was an oasis of calm in the countryside. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. There is parking on site, and no stairs to climb. Breakfast ( scones and griddle cakes, yoghurt and freshly squeezed juice) was homemade and delivered to our room at the requested time - sadly an early start due to other commitments. Mary was very accommodating (no pun intended

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location right on the beach and the quietness were the two main things we really appreciated the most.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The venue itself is very nice.
Cons: The staff in the bar manager was particularly rude. With the bar manager taking such an exception to being criticised for his manner by one woman that he closed the residents bar ridiculously early. If I owned the hotel I would be disgusted at a loss of income from multiple customers just because staff don't have the people skills to deal with people.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: quality of staff the decor of the bar
Cons: only had buffet breakfast could not buy a sandwich in the morning for golf golf course poorly managed - slow play , people cutting in in front of us

Cons: Perhaps lack of character
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room had lovely view to beach from one window and golf course from other. Bed was very comfortable. Service excellent.
Cons: I would have loved a pool at hotel.
6.5 Good
Pros: This resort is situated on a spectacular property with unparalleled views. Our room was nicely appointees, very clean and quiet even though there were a couple of major events. Upon arrival the person at reception was snobby and did not even offer to have our bags brought up to the room and honestly acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. We had traveled from Killarney and were dressed very casually and it was apparent that we were very under-dressed--not a place to stay if you want to be casual and laid back. The staff, especially, Emma, at the restaurant where we sat for a drink, was courteous and very friendly. We ordered room service and to be frank the food was awful--cold and just not good. Beautiful spot but with room for improvement.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, very relaxing.
Cons: It’s a large building and it can be quite difficult to find your way around.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location.
Cons: Breakfast was poor with a very poor selection on offer. There were serious issues with tea and coffee and two tables beside us complained that they had not been served despite ordering multiple times. Staff not properly trained. It was certainly not a five star experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were beautiful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. They could offer more food selections within the hotel. We had to take a van to eat at the more moderately priced restaurants. It would be nice to offer a moderately priced restaurant in the hotel or keep the bar restaurant open later.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing and peaceful. Love all the little rooms to sit in
Cons: 6.75 for a cup of tea!!!!!!
6.7 Good
Pros: The K Club is and has been luxurious , service is excellent and the location perfect. I didn't have time to play golf , I have done so in the past and it was excellent
Cons: There were several aspects : The dining arrangements were a bit "fussy" The main restaurant is in the main building , all other options require a ride of some kind ( an extremely bumpy one to the K Thai) . The main restaurant is very expensive, as is the bar , and the atmosphere was a bit flat . Made you feel you had to go out rather than stay in the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were huge and luxurious , but then it gets spoiled by having two singles mattresses pushed together . I travel a lot and that shouldn't be the case in such an expensive hotel . The TV was also a bit "dated" and small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Immense attention to detail. A very personal approach to guests. An incredible country escape.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The ambiance
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were amazing, such a great time spent walking and cycling around the grounds, looking at the river Liffey and all the different trees and plants. Also outdoor hot tub was fab and the pool and jacuzzi were great.
Cons: Terrible service at breakfast. We were seated and ordered tea for 2. Went to the buffet, no plates, asked a staff member for a plate, never arrived. After 5 minutes asked another staff member and we got plates. 2 sausages was all that was on offer along with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and bacon. Went back to our table which had been occupied by 2 girls. Asked for a table, waited for it to be dressed and got a seat. By this stage our breakfast was cold. No tea came, once again asked the man in the suit for tea, we had originally ordered it at around 10.30 and it was 10.50 at this stage. The tea arrived, the man poured it, basically it came out like hot water so he offered to bring a fresh pot. Another 5 minutes passed and the tea came, finally. Then there was no milk so had to ask for that which really got us annoyed. As an experienced waitress I find this level of service pathetic, and the attitude of the staff was very dismissive and quite rude. This combined with the cremated chicken wings we got in the legends bar on Saturday lead to leaving rather disappointed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff
Cons: Had to eat in Golf Club. Main dining room booked out.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, although a little cold ... Main meal was good but was small a larger portion would have been nice and no sauce or gravy :-( Staff were excellent and attentive and very professional. Bar area is really nice afterwards to relax.
Cons: Sorry covered above

Pros: breakfast was very good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was exactly to my liking, nothing I didn't want as I dislike wasting anything. But there was more of what I did like on offer if I'd wanted it. The White Swan was a 40 minute walk from the village which was ok for me. Hugh gladly took me to the station when I had an early train the next morning when I was having the day in Dublin.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the White Swan, Marian is such a lovely lady, an amazing Host who welcomed us into her home and made us feel like family. The location is fantastic and Marian very kindly drove us to the wedding we were attending at Palmerstown House, which was much appreciated! Marian also helped us arrange a taxi home that evening. The room was great and a fantastic shower, with lovely countryside views. A lovely lovely stay Marian, thank you very much! Kevin and Gemma :)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marion and Hugh went above and beyond to accommodate us. Hugh taxied us about into town and to the wedding we were attending. Marion’s breakfasts were just delicious. Beds were comfortable and rooms were massive. Very clean facilities and everything we needed. I could have stayed another two days!
Cons: Genuinely nothing negative to review about the White Swan.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Proprietor was very friendly and I would recommend the White Swan.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The house is very nice and there was good parking.
Cons: I had selected the place and the room because it had 2 beds, a single and a queen. When we arrived only the queen was made up. Our hostess wanted to charge us €15 to make up the single bed. She said that we had only requested a double room. The graphic on the site shows a single and a queen in black. To me that says we get 2 beds. After a bit she agreed to make the other bed at no additional charge. Additionally, there is a commuter train that runs across the road frequently. Not really disrupting but spoils the rural atmosphere. The towels were missmarched, old and thin. The room was quite cold. She turned the heat on for a while but when we returned from dinner it was off again. Then on for a while before bed time. In the am there was no heat.

Pros: Staff and service was excellent and very helpful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, quite and comfortable. The staff were very nice (although I have seen terrible reviews about the staff elsewhere, this was not my experience). There was free parking which was a must for me .
Cons: Breakfast was at 9am. Not suitable for me as I had an early start.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: First impressions were good but that very quickly changed when I realised the bed sheets contained somebody else’s hairs!! Sheets were not changed, room had no wall vents making sleeping very uncomfortable. Road noise high especially as property beside an extremely busy junction. Pedestrian lights were beeping all night. Accommodation management not very helpful and didn’t really care about the complaint I made the next day.
Cons: nothing, The room was modern but lack of cleaning like dust on top of high fixtures shows that the rooms never receive proper attention. Would avoid this property at all costs. Breakfast only starts at 9am!!
7.9 Good
Pros: Close to airport and had an interesting bar
Cons: It was not a Deluxe Bedroom. It was small despite the double bed and up a flight of stairs with a small bathroom. Although the staff were friendly they all go at night and don’t return until 9:00 am.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfy bed. Tasty freshly cooked breakfast.
Cons: No tea/ coffee making facilities in bedroom but communal kitchen beside rooms.

Ideally situated to Beaumont hospital, only about a 10 minute walk away .

Cons: -
7.5 Good
Pros: The host was very kind, helpful and accommodating. She let us do a very late check-in (1 AM). Gave us good tips on getting around Dublin. Great location. close proximity to the train station. Breakfast was limited continental - bread, jam, cereal, oats, milk and tea. Nice, spacious and clean bathroom.
Cons: We were a party of 7 and felt the room was a bit crammed with 6 beds, a bunk bed and just one bathroom (one could imagine a busy morning). There was not enough space for us to open our luggage to get things out which was a bit uncomfortable. The air circulation was poor leading to sweaty nights. The room could use some standalone fans and ventilation.
