Pension Am Dorfanger - Rathenow - Building
9.5 Excellent (170 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, clean
Cons: WiFi wasn’t good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: + The staff were very warm and friendly. + The room was very clean and included every thing you may need: cooker stove, toaster, water-boiler, different plates and cups, hair dryer, additional pillows, you name it! + You could access information on the walking and cycling roots at the reception. + As a gift we have got some home-made marmalade and some regional cookies. We enjoyed the warm bread for the breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast could have been more diverse: including more warm options such as scrambled eggs, sussages, etc. At the end of our breakfast we saw the table beside us asked the kitchen for fried eggs but we were not aware of this option.

7.0 Good
Pros: Clean and good staff.
Cons: Very bad Internet reception and speed. Food is not exciting at all and way to expensive for the quality. A double bed is actually two single beds. Not very comfortable. The hotel has not room service available.
5.5 Okay
Cons: The room had mosquitoes in January!!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Had cycle parking and a lift.
Cons: could have better signs outside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location , friendly helpful staff.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast buffet was fine; there was a good selection. Breakfast staff very helpful.
Cons: The rooms were small, and very stuffy. Though we opened the window, the air was still and hot in the room. The bathroom was very small, and one could barely move in the shower. I noticed other rooms on the opposite side of the hallway to have more windows for air circulation, etc. I think the rooms the staff put us in were for single people. It was not value for money.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I’ve stayed in this hotel as a child in the 70’s and carrying lots of memories. I was excited to stay here again, and sure was surprised how beautiful everything is decorated and remodeled! Such a great atmosphere!Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast Buffet was amazing and personal was very friendly!
Cons: A full size mirror would be great to have on the wall or behind the door?
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, very comfortable beds, bathroom with window and enough space to hang/put things, secure parking spot for bikes in the back
Cons: the carpet requires some urgent cleaning in room 204, the phone didn't work - we couldn't even call the reception
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was very adequate and everything worked fine. Irish Pub only a few blocks away had good beer and food. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Good place to keep our bicycles in the garage.
Cons: A little noisy on the street at night but not bad
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect Hotel in everything.
Cons: the shower box in the bathroom is a little small!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and a very quiet location. Pleasant staff. I would definitely use the hotel again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All in all, an excellent small hotel with the wonderful, nostalgic touch of the good old, long gone days of the less hectic and more kind life. Most friendly staff, convenient and peaceful location close to the railway station - even the trains at night don't bother, very clean, and with the excellent breakfasts at extra price 7,50 €, offering assorted choice even for vegetarians.
Cons: Alas, the room TV set doesn't offer any programs in other languages but German. At least Euronews, CNN, and BBC World in English would be most welcome. This is the only improvement from which the otherwise excellent hotel would benefit.
