Pros: This is one of the nicest guesthouses we stayed in recent time. The guesthouse is located in an older house which was renovated very tastefully. The rooms are stylish, lovely decorated with a modern touch combining old charm. The hosts are super friendly and helpful and gave us information on restaurants in nearby villages. The breakfast room is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the breakfast together with other guests on a big table. The home made marmelade is delicious. Ray-sur-Saône definitely is one of the loveliest villages on the Saône. It is extremely quiet and it looks like time has stood still. The houses in the village are old, some lovely renovated. The setting of the village on the Saône river is fantastic. There is a castle on the hill and some lovely walkways around the village. We will definitely return to this guesthouse in the future.
Cons: nothing - just perfect :-)
Pros: Beautiful quiet property, super family room, wonderful host, super comfortable room & house, so much offered - kitchenette, sitting room, guide books & lovely description of the castle & surrounding places of interest - we had supper in the village at the cafe bar, lovely friendly welcome, excellent Plat du Jour menu, fab local wine - nothing to fault the whole stop over!
Pros: The Village , the meal we had at the local restaurant, The hosts!!!!!!!!.
Cons: All good.
Pros: I have little time to comment but I can say that our stay was exceptional in every respect and particularly our welcome from the whole family.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: Very welcoming

Pros: A warm welcome, a convivial atmosphere, a delightful and very comfortable room, in a wonderfully characterful property... And a superb and most generous breakfast. What more could you want?
Cons: Nothing. We liked it just as it is
Pros: We stayed only 1 night in this renovated castle. Very kind host who made our stay comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and a good atmosphere!
Pros: Everything was perfect - the location, chateau, our room and the breakfast. We were received just great, we spent a wonderful evening near the fireplace and enjoyed very much all the time we had. The house is gorgeous and stylish. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations- it was served so beatiful, with everything we could ever wish - fresh croissants, bread and eggs, a perfect choice of cheeses and charcuterie, great coffee and fruits. The room was also beautiful and the toilet room is very modern and well furnished. Many thanks for such a wonderful reception, we had a great time in the chateau!
Pros: Beautiful, tastefully decorated room. Fresh flowers a lovely touch. Excellent, spotless shower and bathroom facilities. Delightful, welcoming lady owner, who brought us tea in the garden on our arrival and allowed us to ramble through her orchard among the chickens, then chatted about art with us in the evening. ...
Cons: Nothing, although the village is a long way off the beaten track!
Pros: The breakfast was extraordinary - beautifully prepared and presented, and a huge array all just for me! Just lovely.
Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: A lovely place, with kind and helpful owner.

Cons: Difficult to find a restaurant nearby which was open on Sunday evening. The 2 recommend where closed.
Pros: Estelle was so welcoming and helpful, enjoying practising her English on us. A property steeped in history, but modern and clean. She laid on a superb breakfast using homemade and local products and also happily booked a table for dinner for us in the next village 5 minutes drive away. Added bonus was the pool, sauna and massage chair! Ample off road parking safe and secure. A lovely sleepy village. We didn't get to meet Estelle's farmer husband, but thank you Estelle for your company and kindness.

Pros: We had supper there. the food was good traditional french food - like going back 30 years.
Cons: We almost left because there was no way in and no-one to greet us (it was a Sunday). Finally a neighbour raised the chatelaine from an adjacent house. This was despite being told exactly when we would arrive. The rooms were just adequate but I only had a wash hand basin.
Located in Dampierre-sur-Salon, Hotel de La Tour is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Espace le Festi'Val and Baron Martin Museum. Featured amenities include laundry facilities and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly Service, clean even the room is a bit old fashion, excelent food and superb host
Pros: It was cheap, had a balcony with a nice view and friendly staff.
Cons: Some elements in the room showed signs of wear and tear.
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: The bar restaurant was closed to residents the night I arrived. Only one other restaurant in Gy - also closed. The receptionist offered only “If you want to eat - wałk to the supermarket - 1km”. No warning. No communication. No offer of anything, even a cold collation for guests. After 29 km of walking, I wanted something to eat and drink. I had to settle for a supermarket sandwich in a supposedly small 3* hotel...
Pros: We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a large room at the front of the hotel. So we had lots of space which was lovely.
Cons: The plumbing in the room was poor ( the loo kept running) and there was only one wall light, and only one bedside lamp.,
Pros: Very enthusiastic and helpful staff at the associated bar restaurant. The room had the required facilities. It is a bit odd because the rooms have been created on the floor of an office building so it doesn’t look and feel like a hotel. But it did the job for us as pilgrim walkers. Bar and restaurant were handy and across the road from supermarket and Boulangerie.
