nothing I stayed there for over 2 weeks and never once got a smile from any staff. Food was too expensive also. Air con kept breaking down. If I wanted to use the gym I had to keep phoning reception to come and open it which would take them ages.
Good quality hotel near to town centre Nothing
The staff were very polite & friendly, especially in the dining room. We've stayed there a number of times because of it's great location next to a wonderful park in Reggio Emilia.
this time I've got a good price for the room; but normally prices are higher; good position and access
That internet was available in our room on the tv for a small cost and having a gym available.
The location was great, right on the edge of a lovely park and within walking distance of the sites in the city center.
The staff was very helpful and friendly Bathrooms are outdated - rooms are completely renovated and very pleasant, but they forgot about the bathrooms.......
The position of the hotel is very good. The area is lovely and full of restaurant and places to see. The classic rooms are very poor 2 star, but the superior rooms are of a 4 star standard.
The reception staff made me and my wife(african) feel unwanted
Very good location, in a green park, some minutes from the downtown. Nice, clean room. The bathroom should been renovated a bit.
Very traditional, nice rooms
Fantastic room, big bright and clean, really central location, helpful staff. Don't try and park anywhere nearby! Located in the centre of mainly pedestrianised old town, so difficult to find any parking anywhere near the hotel. Reception is actually at a separate hotel 5 mins walk away - there are no signs when you arrive, and when we rang to try and find the hotel, the receptionist was unable to give us clear directions on how to get to the check in hotel.
Very difficult to locate due traffic restrictions in town center. No parking here, staff at Hotel Posta unable to give directions, saved by man on bicycle who took us. We were transferred at no extra charge to a room at Hotel Posta which was a plus. The garage is small and an early arrival is recommended. This was the most noisy hotel we have stayed in for years, from the street outside.
The location is perfect indeed, central and very quiet There was nobody available at the reception to show us the way to the hotel (Hotel Reggio is a dependence of Hotel Posta), the reception guy was quite rude. The room was dark, two lamps didn't work, both windows looked on a dark courtyard
good position and value, freindly staff my colleague had sky in his room but there wasn't one in mine
piazzas shops and small friendly bars with lovely redwine and gorgeous bar snacks in a traditional italian setting
This hotel is annex of hotel Post. Please inform your customers to go at the reception of Post hotel because Albergo Reggio has not own reception and nothing on the door of Albergo says for example :first road turn right and then left and after 100meter is the reception of Hotel Post.Especially when somebody arrives in the midnight at the town..
Only one towel in the room, extreme smell of smoke
room, breakfast it is not nessesery to change the towels every day
location staff was not the kindest
Clean, comfortable, quiet Waiting for check in
Located in the midle of ancient city.
The staff is very kind and allways is willing to help.
The best part of the stay was the warm and friendly staff who create a family like environment for their guests. A boiled egg for breakfast would have been nice for a change as we had a long stay at the hotel as well as some fresh fruits.
Frienliness and helpfulness of the staff Cafe latte every morning.
Great room, nice view and very polite staff. The price is also accesible. It's good place for anyone who want spend time in Emilia-Romania. From Reggio is very close to Bologna, Venice and Verona. We spend nice week there and recommended anyone who would like see central Italy.
We loved to stay at the hotel. It is old fashioned, for me very nice. The hotel staff was realy nice, they did not complicate for our xxl dog. All our questions were answered. If I will stay in Reggio Emilia again I will definitely go there again (especialy if prices stay the same). I would just like softer quilts. They were very rough.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They worked hard to bridge the language gap. The value was great. The showers are very small and tended to create puddles on the floor.
Friendly Staff Bathroom in particular very poor condition, the breakfast was very poor all done on plastic plates etc and very poor quality . We were bitten by insects . For a place as hot as reggio not having air con seems strange and not comfortable. It seemed more like a 1 star or less than a 2 star. Worst hotel we stayed in in Europe.
Nice small hotel with very friendly staff. Good location just in the middle of the centre. Breakfast could improve a lot.
Staff was very helpful. Excecllent location. Pretty hotel. Nice buffet breakfast. We stayed in Room 236 and water pressure was poor and had a problem with lack of hot water for showers.
I have stayed in lots of hotels in Europe and the Hotel Posta has been the cleanest. It was a great location and very welcoming. That the bar was not open on a weekend and it was the least comfy room, maybe could be updated???
great place !
Valued the history of the hotel and the way it is presented to maintain the past while providing all that is needed by a discerning traveller today.
it was cheapp and it was very near to the town center and to the main train station! - the breakfast was a little bit poor
The staff was very attentive and made me feel at home. Lack of air conditioning during a very hot part of the summer made the room a little uncomfortable.
No one in the hotel speaks english, but this doesn't bad even. Stuff is very friendly and always ready to help you. Equipment in the rooms are rather old, but everything is clean. Furnishing and towels are white and starched. Continental breakfast is poor as always, but everything is fresh and capuchino is tasty. Hotel is right in the center of the town and you can leave your car there and walk around the city. Good choice for unpretentious people if you need to have a sleep for 1-2 nights.
Linens, towels were exlelent, personal nice, equipment old. i choos it as close to train station, but actualy it was not so close and in not very nice place - not for a single woman to come in evening. around was only 1 restorant (looks not bad) and kebabs.... i did not take risk to go further from the hotel...- so i could not have tea in evening when back from travel to other city. it is just a hostel to sleep in small town if no other options in more nice places
Excellent value for money. Central location though could be a little noisy overnight. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a single female travelling on her own.
Very warm staff with large smile, cheap price, clean and nice room, easy access from and to the train station, good breakfast. They could give even an invoice! Staff speaks Italian only, so communication is hard if you don't speak Italian. There wasn't 24 hour hot water, neither internet connection. The walls are very thin, so all the noise from the street is audible.
Friendly staff. Central location easy to reach from train station. Rather large room with desk. Comfortable bed. Rather good overall cleanliness. It is actually a 2-star hotel. Old furniture and bathroom devices with evident signs of wear and tear. Problems with both WC water tank and water sink of bidet. Lack of hairdryer. Annoying smell of smoke coming inside the room despite closed door and window. No internet connection.
