Pros: The ten course dinner was exemplary especially on the first night. We had a different menu on the second night which we also appreciated although it was a bit rich for my liking.
Cons: The slightly outdated cabinet works in bathroom and room and the sewer system, there was a sewer smell in the toilet which was unpleasant.
Pros: It is a Japanese style hotel with beds and a tatami floor living room - very spacious and the view was spectacular from the room - we could see the ocean, palm trees, and sunset. It included a 10-course dinner each of the 2 nights we stayed and breakfast. The dinner was amazing - the abalone was moving on your dish until the staff came and poured hot water to steam it - and all other seafood dishes were very fresh. When we asked where we could purchase the green tea they served for dinner the waiter found out they sold it in their gift shop, and helped us find it. They were so helpful and friendly. The onsen (hot springs) was in another building that was a short 2 min. lovely walk, but they were happy to drive you in the hotel shuttle. Also, the hotel shuttle does a pick up and drop off at the bus terminal. It was a heavenly stay.
Cons: There was nothing negative about the hotel. However, it was a 3-hour trek from Fukuoka, Kyushu - a 1 hour bullet train to Kumamoto, then a 2 hr bus ride to the island connected by 5 bridges. That said, it was well worth the trip because you got away from the cities and you could experience the countrysides of Japan on a beautiful island.
Pros: Beautiful Location, nice sandy beach nearby.
Cons: All the stairs to beach. Wish there was a slightly more convenient way to get to the beach. Also, I wish there had been covered parking.
The main consept of this hotel is the kindness of santa. the scandinavian design furnitures make you heartwarming. And you can take delicious-tasting dishes using local products. We hope you to take a good time at this hotel.

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful, giving help and advice on how to get around the places. The place is clean and comfortable. It is definitely a great option for a small group of travelers.
Cons: The place has very limited bathroom. We were travelling in a group of 5, and we were the only one there when we were there, so that's not an issue for us. If you are travel in a big group, then it might not be an ideal selection.

Pros: We had a lovely harbour view room, traditional Japanese tatami room with a small enclosed balcony with chairs and table. It was a convenient location. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The onsen was quite nice too. Most guests ordered their food in to their rooms but we ate dinner out in a restaurant. The lounge was a nice place to sit back with a coffee after breakfast. The hotel had a nice, welcoming atmosphere.
Cons: Although there was a choice of breakfasts (Japanese or Western), it could have been better, though it was fine enough.
Pros: breakfast and staff sincere attitude
Pros: Basic needs are met, breakfast provided
Cons: Hotel room is relatively old

Pros: We were well received by hotel reception. There are not that many rooms, but they are large and comfortable. The Amuri has a large onsen, open to the public and smaller baths available to hotel guests only. As foreigners, we really enjoyed the authenticity of the hotel/onsen. We were cycling through the area and the only regret we have, is that we should have stayed there 2 nights to allow us to further explore the wonderful area. The meals were fine.
Pros: Food was really good
Cons: The onsen is open to the public and it felt a touch intimidating. There are ones for hotel guests only but they are only open in the morning.
Pros: The baths and rooms were amazing. The staff was very helpful, even with little Japanese.
Cons: The 'waterfront' description is very misleading. You have to drive quite far for the beach.
Pros: It is a wonderful experience to stay in this small inn. The hosts are so soft, gentle and kind. The rooms and bathrooms are excellent and the Japanese breakfast was a real treat.
