Pros: One of the best chambre d'hote breakfasts we have had.
Pros: The area was beautiful, having a swim after a long day in the car was wonderful, our host ordering pizza for us to eat in the garden, with a glass of wine made it perfect. Or was it the home grown honey at breakfast. Room with balcony was very special.
Cons: Pool shower room is being refurbished.
Pros: excellent croissant, pain of chocolat and cake home made!!!!
Cons: the morning bell at 7 am but as we needed to get up it actually was good for us.
Pros: This is really a beautiful nice and calm place to be. The owners are incredibly sincerely friendly, helpful and warm. The house and room have this typical French character. There is a fantastic garden to make a small walk. Your car is perfectly safe. The breakfast is outstanding, brought to you with love and affection.
Cons: It is really in a very calm village so apart from a small "tabac" there is nothing else. No restaurant, no bakery, no shops.
Pros: Lovely house in perfect location for trip to north France. Wonderful home-made honey that tastes of flowers.
Pros: Our host was super friendly and caring. The rooms were beautifully furnished and abolutely clean. The house also has a huge garden to relax in. Our dog was realy welcome. Easy and secure parking in the compound. In the morning we had a lovingly prepared breakfast that left nothing to be desired. It was a wounderful stay!
Pros: Welcoming and comfortable. This magnificent old mansion has a beautiful garden. I would definitely stay again.
Pros: By far the best stop we ever did in France! We came late but when we asked for a restaurant they served us Ratatouille and tomato salad. Delicious! Breakfast was included and one of the best I had in France. Great value for money and the best hosts ever. They made you feel as if you were staying with friends. We definitely will be back!
Pros: This is an outstanding B&B with hosts Valerie and Frederik an added bonus. Frederik has a Dutch sense of humour with an American accent, but with a good touch of English ironic humour thrown in. His relationship with the boss, Valerie, is one of equal and great respect as she clearly runs the business extremely well. Frederik has an in-depth knowledge of the area and its attractions which is very helpful. Valerie knows about flowers and plants which is why the rather large garden is a delight to relax in. Valerie is also a very attractive woman who wears stylish glasses. The fact that Valerie and Frederik are prepared to cook or allow guests to cook in the kitchen is a very attractive part of the deal. The breakfast selection of fruits, hams, cheese, yoghurt, coffee, tea and a variety of breads is outstanding. We will return here for the humour and beauty.
Pros: The room was great and Valerie was a very kind host. Eventhough we were lead she helpen us and our kids in getting something to eat. The house is very nice and cosy.

Pros: excellent breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable.
Cons: larger bedside table would have been a bonus.
Pros: Fresh good quality breakfast, including warm choices and good coffee. Good shower and nice touches in rooms such as fresh coffee, Good safe location in beautiful avenue.
Pros: Very comfortable room with some very clever design features. Lovely to have own patio. Beautiful breads and ham for breakfast. Delphine was helpful in recommending restaurants nearby.
Pros: It was a lovely room, velux windows had covers but not the skylights, so light came in when sun got up. The host was lovely as was the breakfast. Enjoyed our one night stay. Compiegne was very interesting, we would like to return.
Cons: The stairs were very steep, and being in a loft with skylights there was no view.
Pros: The b n b was located in a beautiful avenue in an elegant villa reflecting a rich history. We were warmly greeted by our hostess to our beautifully furnished and well presented room, better than most five star hotels. The accommodation was detached from the owners’ residence. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable ensuring a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was also excellent consisting of fresh orange juice, fruit compote, bacon, ham and eggs, accompanied by crusty baguettes and croissants. The property was also close to city centre and tree lined walks. We really would have loved to have stayed much longer. I would highly recommend this property.
Pros: A wonderful stay. Close to the centre. Friendly host, beautiful room and delicious breakfast.
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful. Delphine made us feel at home. Very relaxing.
Pros: Clean, modern, excellent presentation and the breakfast was great
Cons: Separate toilet from bathroom
Pros: Everything was perfect. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The decor was really lovely. Breakfast was delicious. The garden was very pretty.
Pros: Wonderfull place with wonderfull people. Very romantic and clean room with tastefull breakfast. And nice natural around.
Pros: Very good welcome, nice room & accomodation, very friendly & helpfull hosts. The whole place has been renovated with an eye for every detail. Loved the different homemade jams with breakfast. Been here for 6 nights, and even though I needed to work during the days (bussines trip), the evenings felt like I was on holiday. Will come back in the future with my wife, to explore more of the beautifull and calm countryside. You guys are doing a great job!
Cons: Honest: everything was ok, not a single complaint!
Pros: Exceptionally helpful and attentive; lovely venue
Cons: The only possible improvement, which is outside property’s control, would be to have food and drink within walking distance

Pros: Amazing breakfast options and service. It was so lovely to chat to the host and hear a little about her history and the beautiful house we were in.
Pros: Lovely property. Host is gracious and welcoming. Decor is wonderful.
Cons: The village doesn't have many options for restos, so must head into Compiegne for dinner/options.

Pros: We only stayed there for one night on the way from Cherbourg to Germany. It‘s a really lovely place, authentic house that dates back to 18th century. Every room is decorated according to a particular historic time. Ours was from Loui XV period in Madame de Pompadour style: all her favourite colours, all time matching details, every little thing is on it‘s place, really well thought, really authentic feeling, almost like you travel back in time. I found it cool! The hostess is very friendly and if you are into history you‘ll find a fantastic conversation companion in her. Breakfast is very nice, we had several traditional french pastry, all very good, all very fresh. There is also a proper kitchen and a fridge you can use. Oh, and beds were super comfy! All in all, we‘re happy we‘ve chosen this place:)
Cons: The location itself isn‘t great, there is not much around and the house is right on the road. But well, the road is absolutely quiet at night and if you‘re exploring a french countryside and castles, it‘s a good strategic location, i believe.
Pros: Very friendly welcome. Clean, comfortable rooms. Lovely home-made breakfast. Would recommend Le Cedre very highly and would definitely stay here again.
Cons: It was all good.
Pros: Claire was a wonderful host, the room was clean, comfortable and very charming with lots of character. The breakfast with fresh croissant, home made jelly and cake, coffee, juice and a few other items was fabulous. The bathroom was quite large and super clean.
Cons: Not much, everything was great.
Pros: Claire was a wonderful host.
Cons: The stairs were steep and narrow.
Cons: Wish all properties would list if they allow their cats into the letting (wish they wouldnt)
Pros: Absolutely lovely welcoming hosts. We arrived on a very wet day and were warmly welcomed in and shown to our room. We were then offered a lovely glass of wine before we left for dinner at a nearby, very popular restaurant. Le Cedre is immaculate inside and the breakfast room beautiful. Enjoyed our stay very much, thank you.
Pros: The worst hotel ever. Do not stay here! It is NOT pet friendly.
Cons: The owner of this hotel was very rude to me. She asked me if I would leave my dogs in the garden - in November!. I had to call her to ask her to put the heating on as my room was freezing cold. She gave me an extra bill for the dogs even though this was not dicussed and check-in. She said the dogs could only stay in the bathroom after I said no to leaving them outside. She was very rude and asked me to leave because she said my dog was too big. I was travelling on my own with 3 dogs - two small yorkshire terriers and a small collie. The hotel was advertised as Pet Friendly. She asked me to leave at 9pm and came to the room to tell me the dogs were making too much noise. She was the rudest lady I have ever met. The stairs are very high and this hotel is on the main road. The room was freezing cold. Do not stay here!!!!
Pros: Our hostess did her best to provide gluten free. The location is convenient for A1
Cons: Our room was at the front of the house. It was noisey because the road outside was busy with trucks. The road used to be the main roar before the autoroute and many trucks still use it. We had asked for a quiet room.
Pros: Convenient stopover from the A10 en route to Calais. Friendly host and good breakfast.
With a stay at Citotel De Harlay in Compiegne (Centre Ville), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Chateau de Pierrefonds and Compiegne Hotel de Ville. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: We booked a room with river view and paid the expensive fee, but we got a poor, small ro with parking view. We complained, but they refused, said they were fully booled, though the offer was still on internet available. We will never book this hotel again.
Pros: Very comfortable big bed and big duvet. Shower was really good hot and powerful. Peaceful surroundings.
Cons: Would have liked a kettle
Pros: The staff was great! Friendly, helpful and polite. The room was clean and very well-equipped. Tasty breakfast. Good location. Private parking, though not free
Pros: Well situated
Cons: Comfortable and modern room
Pros: Friendly staff, good basic room, and nice location. The fellow working at the front desk was nice and helpful.
Pros: The hotel is at the heart of the city. Close to a number of diverse restaurants. The rooms are clean, have air conditioning and a fridge. The beds are good. A WiFi code is provided as well. In the morning a limited but fine and tasty breakfast is awaiting you. The hotel has 5 parking spaces behind the building which need to be reserved. We met a very friendly hotel manager.
Cons: For people in a wheelchair, there’s no ramp in front of the hotel but three steps. The hotel manager was very friendly to help out though.
Pros: The staff were exceptional, very friendly, always helpful, and spoke English! The room was immaculate with a beautiful view over the River Oise. The hotel was located centrally within the town with some really good bistros within easy walking distance. Breakfast was a delight.
Cons: Not a criticism, but finding the hotel and the Rue de Harley took a bit of time!! To help other visitors, just go over the bridge and turn right and the hotel is on the left facing the river Oise, with the Hotel De Farley on the facia - we had been asking for the Cititel Hotel!!
Pros: Staff worked hard to correct check in problems.
Cons: Funky layout with low headroom for 180cm tall. Too expensive for the overall facility. Not flexible about arrival time (had to check in on thier schedule).
Cons: more light!
Pros: Charming and helpful host. Lots of room and bathroom facilities. Nice kitchen area and generous breakfast provision. Great value for money.
Cons: Could not get the showers to run cold.
Pros: A quirky little place. Great family room, good size, clean and spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was also enjoyable in a nice family environment..
Cons: The room was rather warm with no obvious aircon meaning that we needed to open the skylight window...and therefore subject ourselves to the noise from the late night Irish bar next door.
Pros: Where good and happy host. Excellent location. Perfectly clean

Pros: very good
Pros: Cleanliness and staff welcome
Cons: Little difficult to navigate to
Pros: Nice breakfast .. great location
Cons: Rooms could have been more spacious
Pros: Ham and eggs were lovely. The twin rooms we're really great staff we're great thanks.
Cons: The shower head slips down. Toaster was a hazard, rolling toasters are good for hotels.
Pros: Breakfast is good. Staff is nice.
Cons: Nothing to hang your towel. Shower door does not prevent the water from flowing outside. No table with chair to work in the room.
With a stay at Château d'Humières in Monchy-Humieres, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Chateau d'Humieres Golf Club and Compiegne Hotel de Ville. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: stunning place,great room,very pet friendly,great breakfast
Cons: nothing,can not fault it
Pros: So much space, separate toilet and bathroom. Separate breakfast room with kettle, toaster and fridge. Breakfast was good and enough for 4 adults easily, we left some bread. It was so nice to arrive after a long drive and see the beautiful château and discover our lovely 2 bedroom flat in it. Beds were clean and comfortable. Great place, glad we came.
Cons: The shower was a bit broken, but still OK.
Pros: Lovely place, very clean and spacious.
Cons: It was a bit difficult to find the key. We never met anyone from the personnel.
Pros: Lovely property, amazing venue for the suite.
Pros: Facilities of cooker, fridge and sink very useful and great stop over on way to south France from Chunnel.
Pros: Comfortable room in very attractive old building. The attraction here is staying in the Chateau. The setting aside a golf course is attractive but signs forbid walking anywhere on the course.
Cons: There are no facilities- keys have to be pickup up from a golf course club house about a mile from the room. Breakfast was left in the room and was only adequate. Hard to rate this property as there are no facilities and no staff at the property.
Pros: Wonderfully welcoming staff at the golf club where we collected the keys made for a positive start to our stay. When we reached the chateau itself we were utterly amazed by how authentic and peaceful the building and location were. Our suite comprised 2 bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet and dining room with a well-stocked fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker...all charmingly and simply decorated. The bathroom was of a high spec and the complimentary toiletries were divine! Huge windows looked out onto the golf course and the local church bells chimed the hours away. We've had many booking.com experiences over the last decade but the whole family agreed this was the best yet! Was very difficult to tear ourselves away. Perfect all round!
Pros: Ideally situated for us as we were driving from the ‘Chunnel’ down to the south of France and it was well suited for an early break. Being an apartment and having a breakfast basket pre-delivered we weren’t rushed in the morning.
Mercure Compiègne Sud invites you to spend a relaxing stay - in true Picardy style - at this renovated venue. With an Art Deco-inspired interior design, this Compiègne hotel offers a fitness centre and six meeting rooms. Focusing on local artisanal products, our bar and restaurant with a terrace offer authentic dishes made on the premises and a selection of locally brewed beers. At breakfast, you will find honey from the hotel's own hives.
Pros: Good private parking. Friendly staff.
Pros: I liked the staff, they were lovely, accommodating and spoke English, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the shower was great.
Cons: I didn’t like the bed, it was very uncomfortable and the pillows were the worst bit, it felt like I was sleeping on a wall. We only stayed there because we had an event on in the area, but I wouldn’t go back. Having stayed in many other Mercure hotels around France, this one disappoints. The only amenities they supplied the bathroom with was soap and the usual shower gel inside the shower. There was no shower cap or body lotion that all the others provide. The lamp kept flickering as well and then wouldn’t turn off. It was just a really old place and needs work. They didn’t offer anything in the mini bar either. It would have been nice to have a cold water, but they didn’t supply anything. Won’t be back.
Pros: Very quiet
Cons: The coffee
Pros: Very comfortable beds, great climate control, quiet despite the proximity of the motorway, great breakfast buffet. An ideal hotel to stay overnight on the way to destinations further away.
Cons: For the price there is nothing to complain about.
Cons: the food in the restaurant is expensive for what it is
Located in Compiegne, Kyriad Compiegne is connected to a shopping center, within a 10-minute drive of Compiegne Golf Club and Palais Nacional. This hotel has facilities measuring 646 square feet (60 square meters), including a conference center. Pros: Everything provided. Tea/coffee making facilities. Hairdrier. Bottle of water. Separate wc. Heatmer in bathroom. Toiletries & plenty of towels/tissues etc.
Cons: A little more expensive than some - but the extras more than made up for it.
Pros: More a motel that is good for one night. Very surprised by the cleanliness of the room and had the basics. The beds & pillows were fantastic. Air conditioning in the room was good. Breakfast buffet was ok. Close to the main A1 highway near Paris. There are two amazing restaurants next door just a couple of minutes away walking. Ample private parking. Staff did not speak English but we were still able to communicate.
Cons: The outside of the building is really run down and it was a bit shocking when we first arrived. The lobby has no air conditioning and it was hot. Another hotel is being built next to this one so the view was blocked. There were no workers while we stayed there.
Cons: Some lights not working as was an electric plug.
Pros: good location for a stop over on the way to Paris.
Pros: We liked the bar and the breakfast was good. Friendly staff.
Cons: Location was in an industrial area next to a building site. The booking.com photos did not portray the external view of the hotel accurately. The bedroom carpet felt a bit tired.

The hotel is located 1 km from La Croix Saint Ouen Train Station and 2 km from Forêt Domaniale de Compiègne. The A1 motorway is 11 km away and there is a private car park on site.
Pros: Charming. Friendly staff. Very good food.
Cons: Small room. Hard bed.
Pros: Restaurant was really amazing. Room was very clean. Friendly staff. Lovely location and setting.
Cons: The bed was fairly small (We are tall) and it was very squeaky! But this was a very minor issue.
Pros: Very convenient for our trip to Compiegne. A simple room and just what we expected and wanted from this short stay.
Cons: Coffee was not freshly made at breakfast. Obviously had been sitting on the hotplate for quite some time.
Pros: A last minute booking and we were very happy with our stay. Our two young children shared on double bed and it worked fine. The restaurant looked lovely too and they accommodated us with a light snack and squeezed in our pushchair with a sleeping child.
Pros: The restaurant was great, we are vegetarian and the staff catered for our needs at short notice, we had an excellent evening meal. Friendly staff, quiet location with a peaceful, pretty courtyard
Pros: So lovely, both the property and the welcome
Cons: The speed of the drivers on the road outside. Inside everything was lovely.
Pros: As we wished a quieter room not overlooking the restaurant area, we were given the choice of two rooms and were not made to feel we were being a nuisance. The change was facilitated by the helpful manager. The meal was very good and the room clean and comfortable. We were offered a coffee upon leaving which was much appreciated.
Cons: Nothing in particular
With a stay at Hostellerie Du Royal Lieu in Compiegne (Royallieu Village), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Musee de la Figurine Historique and Compiegne Hotel de Ville. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. This hotel has 5 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location good and parking excellent. The room had a nice outlook onto garden. Nothing more to say.
Cons: Firstly its dirty. They tried to give us a cheaper room than we had booked, one without a bath. The room was gloomy with no lighting and very dull. The bed small. The bathroom was good but the water took ages to get hot. The main issue was the scandalous price of the restaurant food, that was tasteless and meagre in portions. The breakfast too was inedible with leftover cheeses from dinner and a token piece of ham. We got our money back on the breakfast. I will never visit this hotel again. Overpriced and beyond dullness.
Pros: beds - room - bathroom - toilet etc. perfect ! secured parking perfect behind a gate nice place
Cons: Breakfast, for this kind of a (luxury) hotel is it too simple, not much choice and not acceptable for this prices
Cons: There was no-one on reception when I arrived. I had to wait a while. There were poor instruction to the secure parking (verbal instructions, no signage) I was not accompanied to my room, or greeted at the parking when I arrived there. There was no signage to the rooms (verbal again), it was dark and lighting too poor to read room numbers My room had not been cleaned. There were used towels on the floor of the bathroom. The bins were full. The bed had not been changed or made up. There was no reply from reception when I called down, using the number given on the laminated information sheet. There was no appropriate signage from the room back to reception and I had to wander the garden in the dark looking for a way back. It took a while to find the way through (at which point there was a sign, though it was obvious by that point). There was no apology when I reported the problem at reception. I was tired and quite upset when I reached my new room only to remember that I had left my suitcase in the first room but there was no laminated sheet to try calling reception again. I had to go again to reception to ask for one as it gave useful information like times of meals and so on. There was no apology when I pointed out that I had not heard a single word or regret from the staff that any of this had happened. "No worries" is all I got. I was brought a glass of wine (no charge) when I asked for one (needed at this point to make me feel better!!) In the morning I was asked if all had gone well. When I told the day staff that all had not gone well, all I heard was, "Ah! OK" to everything I mentioned of the night before. At the very, very least an apology and the offer of a free breakfast (which I had already declined to have, so no big risk there to the profits...) would have been something to have made this a better experience in the end.
Pros: Very friendly staff, view on the beautiful garden from the rooms, great restaurant
Cons: Double bed a bit too small, out of croissants during breakfast, hotel is in the village whereas the advert creates the impression it’s in or next to the forest
Pros: Very nice for the price loved the bed
Cons: Shower dribbled
Pros: The room we stayed in was very quiet with a great view on a big and lovely garden with very tall trees. Birds singing in the morning was the only noise we heard, not bad at all! The enclosed parking was also very convenient.
Pros: Bar area and garden are very pleasant to sit for a drink. Plenty of secure car parking available.
Cons: The hotel feels a little old fashioned and some areas need refreshing. It was further out of town than we thought (our fault for not checking) but the staff didn't warn us how far it was to walk there. Taxi to return was 15 euros.
The ibis Compiègne hotel is 1.9 miles (3 km) from the town center, not far from the A1 highway and 30 mins from Roissy CDG airport. It has 78 rooms with A/C and free WIFI, 3 meeting rooms, restaurant serving lunch and dinner, 24-hour snack bar, terrace an d free enclosed car park. Nearby attractions include Compiègne's chateau and museums, Haras National (stud farm), the deportation memorial, race course, golf course, ice rink, pool, Château de Pierrefonds, the Glade of the Armistice and Parc Astérix.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms, small but that’s part of the Ibis’s concept. Perfect for a relaxing stop over, a good night’s sleep, a decent breakfast and knowing that your car is OK in the gated and supervised parking.
Cons: The staff is fantastic! Arrived quite late evening and shortly before midnight there was a couple of people having a beer in the bar, kept open by the receptionist. One in the group said “People here seems to be so kind, friendly and happy”. That’s how it is. I’ve stayed there a couple of times, and it’s always the same.
Pros: Very nice restaurant.
Cons: A little expensive for an IBIS but nice quality.
Pros: One of the rooms stank like a sewer and we were unable to be transferred as the hotel was full booked. The night manager was extremely unhelpful and did not offer any solution apart from a can of air freshener..
Cons: Sleeping in a sewer was not something we imagined at the Ibis..
Pros: Very friendly staff. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Good for stopover whilst traveling.
Cons: The room was small for 3, but we stayed one night only.
Pros: Good access and car parking. Handy restaurant on site. Comfortable beds and newly decorated bedrooms.
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff, good breakfast (mrs loved it and she has an opinion on everything)
Cons: Room as a little tight (traveled with a 1yo and 3yo), no lift (only stairs)
Pros: Excellent service. Breakfast choice excellent with everything anyone could want.
Cons: Evening meal so so.
Pros: The food in the restaurant was good. The hotel service was friendly

Pros: Bang in the middle of town......
Cons: .... but very noisy (traffic, specifically early in the morning)
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: Dated, pictures don’t reflect the rooms well
Pros: Location to centre Staff provided a small fan due to heatwave
Cons: Cleanliness...dirty duvet. Bathroom not clean. no aircon
Pros: Amazing location, woman on reception was very helpful and friendly, spacey rooms, large bed
Cons: Shower curtain was a bit grubby but overall very clean
Pros: The location was a close walk to the town centre. The price was reasonable.
Cons: It was noisy as situated near a bar I think. We needed the windows open due to the heat and lack of air con.
Pros: It was ok clean
Cons: Room at back over looking car park very poor area
With a stay at Armor Hôtel, you'll be centrally located in Compiegne, within a 15-minute drive of Chateau de Pierrefonds and Compiegne Hotel de Ville. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
Pros: Very clean and a great location.
Cons: Missing milk, sugar and cups from the room. Only had 2 tea bags and a kettle.
Pros: Location and friendly receptionist Ben
Cons: WiFi didn’t work and would take 4 days to repair
Pros: Very friendly staff, outstanding breakfast.
Pros: It was in the centre of town
Cons: No access to car parking through hotel. Had to walk to front of hotel with heavy bags
Cons: Nobody at the reception for my check-in or to keep my bag until 3 pm. My Keys dos work when i came back at night to my room, and again, nobody at the reception to help me out. I.had to wait for somebody to get there after calling. There was no hot water in the shower. Steep stair case to go upstairs carrying bags (no elevators). What a disaster!
Pros: Comfortable beds and central location
Cons: No parking at hotel. On street parking nearby
Located in Compiegne, Fasthotel Compiegne is within a 10-minute drive of Compiegne Hotel de Ville and Musee de la Figurine Historique. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Modest but nice breakfast
Cons: Everything was very shabby, old and unhygienic; especially the bathroom
Pros: Close to the motorway and cheap.
Cons: Very thin walls and funky bathroom. A little hard to find because it is in an industrial area.
Pros: Breakfast was simple, but really ok. Nice croissants
Cons: Room were not so clean
Pros: Adequate but basic room for a budget price. Linen was good and the room generally clean. A basic breakfast was available for a small surcharge.
Cons: No complaints really. It is tucked away from the main road but nothing a GPS cant solve.

Cons: The room smelt strongly of stale cigarette smoke.
Pros: Very nice local hotel. Room was comfortable & quite too. Parking was a bit of a challenge but safe. Thank you
Pros: Three rooms in one. Good location. Spotlessly clean
Cons: Parking poor
Pros: The hotel is situated on the bank of the river and a short walk from the center of the town. There is a small underground car park and a lift. The room we has was dated , the carpet was threadbare in places, however it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is fine, there is no restaurant in the hotel but there is a good restaurant next door ( booking advisable ). The entrance to the car park is tight and some of the staff were smoking in the car park, both when we arrived and when we left, given that this is a small underground car park, not only is this unpleasant but also a health and safety concern.
Cons: See comments above re smoking in underground car park.
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: The hotel was in need of decoration, very dark and gloomy, depressing.
Pros: Location was good and we had a good room for the three of us
Cons: The breakfast looks beautiful but details about the thee etc. need to followed up on
