the staff, the food, the location and the confort of the room no
Central location in the town, easy to find. Helpful staff. No lift to the first floor only a very narrow, winding staircase. It's not easy to see the only mirror, which was in the bathroom, whilst trying to use the hair dryer in the bedroom.
A beautiful hotel formed by 3-4 separate small old houses around 2 courtyards. The restaurant is superb. The town itself is very pretty.
Pleasent stay with nice clean room [only downside it was on 3rd. floor].Great food.
Superb dinner - reasonably priced - breakfast also excellent.
Charming , personable and fun place to stay .
Welcome on arrival having found the place, rural location and quality of food both at dinner and breakfast, friendly place I stayed in the Mill. Challenging location - it was a relief to get there! Seemed close to my main route south but took a while and I was mistaken for other guests who had called in for directions....not sure if Mrs Mann made it, the others expected and I shared stories over dinner as we met arriving.
We stayed in chateau room best described as shabby chic .Wonderful views from window restaurant excellent
Charming place in the middle of the Perche, the room was very authentic - could be your a Friend place - feeling that your are at home. If you like nature, want to feel as a castle owner, like when eveything is not electronic, noisyless and perfect but charming, definitively a place to go. Breakfast are good with yougurts, fresh fruits and worth the 15€ compared to other places service is really friendly but not very efficient, professional. restaurant prices are very expensive compared to the quality of the foods, especially wines ( nothing under 100€) and we waited for 1 hour between the starter and the main course. same for breakfast - you have to be patient if you want to drink your tea with a piece of bread
superb location, really idyllic, lovely features and decor, with great staff and one of the best three restaurants we've ever eaten in. while the cost of accomodation is reasonable, the food and drink is quite expensive, but worth it
We adored this charming family run Chateau. The service was excellent, the room was very spacious and overlooked the gardens. The managers lent us bikes to explore the local area which was very pretty. But the best thing about this chateau is the restaurant - beautiful, authentic, rustic French cuisine with an amazing wine list. Nothing to complain about, would recommend without hesitation.
Everyone from the owners down, made us feel like true guests. Food was amazing. Best steak in France! Couldn't do enough for us. Excellent heated pool even in September!
were given choice of two rooms.both beautiful and large.Furnishings were gorgeous and being on the 2nd floor views were lovely. One of the most comfy rooms we have had in France. Loved it. Ceasar was a commendable addition to the hotel.would recommend to anyone. We had dinner which was very nice however the cheapest bottle of wine was 40 euros...Bottled water cost 10 euro and our meal for 2 cost 90 euro without wine.
The friendlyness, the rooms, the location the cuisine and the wine list. This was our second visit and will not be our last. No
Position; Untidy gardens; garden furniture left untidy each day
Location. Too many 'lads' in the bar on our visit. The hotel assumed we would want to sit with dozens of other people to watch the world cup with our evening meal, but we asked to sit elsewhere and they were helpful.
Good location for us travelling to the Loire. Very good space and layout for a family in the duplex room, giving the adults a spacious upstairs room, ensuite, coffee making facilities and tv, with staircase down to three children and additional shower room downstairs too. Children liked the pool table in the main hotel. The sat nav took us in a back way through a sharp bend and under a tiny bridge that we only just got our people carrier through. There is however a much easier, open and wide main way in that you're meant to use and that you could get a double decker bus in if you wanted to!
Food and staff were excellent The standard of the room we were first allocated was extremly poor. We complaned and were given a room in a new block this room contained only a bed, nothing else!! Hardly what we expected for what we paid.
Nice pool, beautiful surroundings. Close enough for visits to Le Mans if you have a car, No frills room but clean . Nice buffet lunch from hotel restaurant and goot bar service. No air conditioning , very warm at night!
friendly staff and atmosphere, used as base for the Le Mans race it was far enough out to get peace and quiet and feel "in France" but close enough to run in and out three times during the race to eat, shower and rest. No - will be happy to stay again
Great Management staff, arranged for my car to be fixed at the local garage. still some building work in progress, but there was no intrusive noise
Beautiful location Very uneven in everything: good food, poor service in the restaurant. Lodged in the middle of dirty construction site, work starting early. Nice new room, terrible bathroom with shower flooding the floor. No air conditioning in very hot weather and NO swimming pool available!
Nice surroundings, restaurant relaxing and food good. On arrivak no information given on leisure facilities or how to access them. Staff were very halpful when asked.
We used it as a stop over from Calais to Bordeaux Hotel is lovely and the girl on reception was very helpful. Excellent . Belleme is a lovely village. We ate both Breakfast and dinner in the village as we like to mingle with the locals but the hotel food did look lovely.
Good food, quiet room.
Location is quite good for passing to any direction (we were stopping enroute from Brittany to Paris) and nearby sightseeing. Charming old building and quite comfortable room. English spoken at reception. Food was enjoyable in the restaurant. Wi-Fi was used successfully. Free parking in front of the building (yet limited space). Breakfast a bit pricy and you must order it in details previous night. Actually quite many rules for guests to obey including check-out by 10 am which I take quite early for a hotel. Even staff is somewhat friendly I still got uneasy and ackward feeling staying in this hotel - I felt like being a house guest in overpriced B&B rather than a hotel.
We were using this hotel as a stop over on our way south through France. it was charming. The room was on the back & was quiet throughout the night. We ate in the hotel & would recommend the food. We had not read our booking properly & did not realise that the hotel was closed between 3.00 & 6.00. We arrived at 5.30 but madam did open for us & showed us to our room despite a few grumbles, which was understanable. We had not encountered this arrangement before.
A lovely location and comfortable hotel with good food. After having read the house notes I now realise that there are possibly prisons in France with less rules. You should note it is not easily possible to book in until 6pm. This might be somewhat awkward after a long journey. The staff seemed a little formal and remote. However the food was very good.
