Pros: It is a very beautiful stay for a weekend, quiet and relaxing. If you want to refill yourself that is the best palce I could find in the last years.
Pros: The grounds of the place were beautiful and the hosts were so nice and accommodating - they were flexible with our early/late departure times (even getting up at 6:30 to make sure we had breakfast before leaving early on our check-out morning) and provided options for my gluten allergy.
Cons: The rooms were clean and nice, but the king bed in our room was two twin beds pushed together that kept slipping apart.
Pros: Everything. A couple who works there welcomed us very well, told more about the Chateau and showed us the Chapelle of the Chateau. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast included homemade yogurt and marmelades, still warm baguette, etc. Huge park, nice yard. Very much recommended.
Pros: If you appreciate authenticy and character then this place for you. It’s a real piece of rural France. These surroundings, buildings, rooms, food and people. It was more then i expected. No luxury or fine restaurants but authentic country life with local food, history and friendly and helpful people.
The new ibis budget in Sarrebourg Buhl is the perfect place to take a detour and discover the River Moselle and Vosges Mountains. Ideally located between Strasbourg, Nancy and Metz on the RN4, the hotel has 61 completely renovated, quiet rooms, perfect for business travel or family trips. All at a fantastic price!
Pros: Dogs are welcome!
Cons: The Road is very loud.
Pros: Very clean , nice rooms, good breakfast, not really much options
Cons: The placement is near the autorute
Pros: right off the highway
Cons: If you don’t speak French, with small children you will get Bad service and Rude, cruel and cold front desk personnel. An old lady at Front desk named Pricilla is ranked the top of the rudest front desk lady ever( I stay at hotels for 100 days a year). Very unprofessional. Morning of December 28th,2019, I stood at the front desk for 30 minutes, what I mean THERE is in front of the front desk like you are checking in or trying to talk to the front desk because I need help urgently. But this Pricilla did all kinds of things to just pretend she didn’t see me. She checked the computer, went out to smoke, or talked to her friends. Unbelievable right??? I was trying to be polite not to bother her but wait for her to finish her smoke but I guess I was too nice. Even when her coworker remind her that there’s a guest standing there she still walked away. I realized that she did that intentionally then called her saying I NEED HELP here, her answer was I stood there but didn’t ask her. Whoever hired her or trained her should teach her front desk 101- say hi to your guest and ask if there’s anything you can do when you see them or they are standing infront if you, Especially you know this guest needs help! Would never stay there again and will try to let more people know.
Pros: Simple. Functional. Neat. Affordable.
Cons: All good
Pros: Nothing special - it an industrial area, I stayed there because there was nothing else when I booked. It would be a good place for one night emergency sleep.
Cons: Noisy in the morning!
Pros: The shower was good.
Cons: There was no one at reception when we arrived mid-afternoon and despite having booked 4 nights the machine only let us pay for one, then locked us out each day so we had to pay 4 separate times. Ridiculous. Had to book breakfast in advance, which was not made clear when booking. As the hotel was in the middle of nowhere there were few other options. The vending machines had few options and card payment was not possible. The room was tiny, inconveniently decorated and spaced out, the floor was freezing. No plug socket close to mirror etc.

Pros: The room we upgraded
Cons: The original room was too small
Pros: Friendly staff easy parking, rooms and facilities quite acceptable, adequate breakfast
Cons: It is out of town but with a good restaurant
Cons: no air conditioning

Pros: Quiet, simple and comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Property was excellent but local restaurant wasn’t open the night we stayed and as we were travelling by bicycles we had to arrange alternative evening meal.
Pros: We really enjoyed the stay and welcomed the absolute flexibility when arriving late after closure of the reception. The view in the morning is awesome.
Pros: Value for money. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
Cons: No on-site bar or restaurant. Restaurant 200m down the road was good but expensive and table availability is not guaranteed. Nothing else within walking distance. No staff on-site for arrival, email with code for front door.
Pros: The old convent was perfect. It was reasonably priced, very comfortable and in a beautiful rural setting. Historic Roman ruins on the grounds were very interesting. Exactly what we like.
Pros: Good, quiet accommodation. Helpful hostess. Nice grounds.
Cons: Food a bit far away (ok for cars, but we had cycles) as nearby restaurant closed for vacation.

Pros: The breakfast was fine and my wife's dietary requirements were catered for.
Cons: Nothing, it was all good.
Pros: Great restaurant, a very nice and clean hotel, super friendly personnel and the bonus of a sauna and steam room. Strongly recommended
Pros: Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The family and their members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were on a hectic schedule and needed somewhere peaceful to stay for a night to break the journey between Munich and Paris. We were so impressed we ended up staying for two nights, and were able to stay in the same rooms. We enjoyed dinner on our first night. I follow a gluten free diet and my daughter is vegetarian. The staff were extremely helpful in advising us what was suitable from the menu. The second night fell on a Sunday, and the restaurant was closed in the evening. However, we were offered the alternative of Sunday lunch, which was most enjoyable, and we managed to buy some salads and fruit from a small supermarket in nearby Saverne for supper. A point to note is that supermarkets close around lunchtime on Sundays. We also had breakfast on our last morning which was excellent. with lots of gluten free options. We booked two rooms with balcony. Our room had a lovely view to the front of the hotel over the forest, and our daughter's was at the back of the hotel overlooking the owner's accommodation. This was absolutely fine for us as we requested rooms next to one another, which they were, but should you need a specific view, probably best to request on booking. Both rooms were spotlessly clean with showers over bath, and welcome bidets in the bathroom. Plentiful toiletries, and comb, shower cap etc provided. Plentiful soft white towels, and heated towel rail was a bonus. Some other reviewers have described the rooms as being dated. I beg to differ. They certainly aren't ultra modern generic ( and easily forgettable) hotel rooms that mean you could be in any hotel anywhere in the world. These rooms have everything you need, with great character and atmosphere reflecting the region and the hospitality of the family owners. We will never forget our stay here, and hope to return in the future.
Cons: Very minor point: There is no kettle in the room, but hot drinks are served in the bar/reception area.
Pros: Location great for one night stopover driving through Europe. Been here before so knew what to expect. Peaceful. Very friendly. Very comfortable bed. Great dinner choice. Parking directly in front of hotel.
Cons: Breakfast disappointing for the price. Starts at 7am, I arrived at 10 past and apart from bread most things had run out or there was little choice. No milk for cereal. No orange juice, fresh or otherwise, lots of raw eggs but nothing ready to cook them in. Did not have time to wait. Ended up eating dry muesli, a yoghurt and a croissant.
Pros: It's the third round that I stop here on my travels through Europe. It means I really like it
Pros: I really enjoyed the breakfast
Pros: Fantastic cottage very comfortable, great dinner 5 star experience

Pros: Room was very big, large TV, fridge. big bed! Quiet, even though it was in the centre of Town. Internet/WiFi was good

Pros: Central location, clean and comfortable room
Pros: Staff was very kind and accommodating but the restaurant was closed because chef and staff were on holiday vacation and they were doing some renovations. The staff still were able to provide us with a light breakfast before we left which was very nice. With no air conditioning and unseasonably hot weather room was a little warm but they did have a fan that helped. With windows open to courtyard below, we experienced cigarette smoke whenever someone was smoking below us so had to close windows. Our room was on the smaller side, but clean and comfortable. Shower was very nice and the air freshener in the bathroom was very nice amenity!
Pros: The warm welcome with a cold beer! Had a good meal, specially prepared for us.
Cons: The kitchen team was cleaning until 23.00hrs That was a bit noisy
Cons: Unfriendly and unhelpful
Pros: This hotel was okay, we only stayed for 1 night. No air conditioning, small rooms but what I expected for a town. Old building and have to get up stairs to accommodation, so if not mobile wouldn't recommend. Didn't have breakfast but did do dinner and it was good.
Cons: Small rooms, shower over bath and no air conditioning.
Pros: Location to train station.
Cons: Room was very small and difficult to move around in.
Pros: They had a very good restaurant- Asian style. And a quiet but central location.

Pros: Breakfast was delicious
Pros: great place, very clean
Pros: The location was good Clean
Cons: Pictures give a false interpretation of reality. One picture is not from the cabane where we stayed Too small for 6 people. One night stop over was just ok but almost considered leaving as the pictures gave away a place right in the forest and rooms much bigger on picture than reality
Pros: Lovely hosts. Large room with comfy bed and excellent breakfast ( includes egg and bacon). We had a lovely, simple evening meal in restaurant Meteor ( phalsbourg) which also sells local beers. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Pros: Breakfast was very nice. Also before we got into the room, Josephine served us cookies and tee.
Cons: The room was not so clean.
Pros: Josephine is an effusive lady of senior years & was very friendly
Cons: The bathroom was shared by 3 other couples & it was an extra €20 for the second person. The roll up shutter on the window was broken & the bed is way overdue for a replacement!!! Time for a quality new one. Breakfast basic but we’re in France so half expected that.
Pros: Josephine was a kind and wonderful host, helpful in every way.
Pros: Josephine was a lovely hostess, very accommodating and although there was a language barrier we managed to work our way through communication.
Cons: The property was a little remote and we struggled to find places open where we could eat as it was gone 8pm.

Pros: Really interesting renovation of an old family farm that is still a working farm plus rooms to rent. High quality mezzanine and wooden fitments plus 5* bathroom. Lovely people running the farm and excellent breakfast with quality produce including yoghurt from their cows and jams from their fruit. Very dog friendly but 6 Euro supplement. Children would love the animals - we did!
Cons: It is located in a very ordinary village without any facilities
Pros: The place has a great charme, it is decorated with taste, the wooden details are great, the renovation of the place has taken a lot of time and work - which we respect and admire. The dining room used to be the living place of pigs and hens! The area around allows you to make walks on some meadows, the air is clean, it is very quiet. The male host of the house showed my 4-year-old daughter the feeding of the hen, it was very friendly of him. We asked for and got some pairs of old boots for walking around in the rain, so this was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.
Cons: First, we booked this place because of the good reviews that we read. We came to the farmhouse after staying a few nights in a different place which was really great and a terrific experience so we arrived with high expectations. Upon arrival the farmhouse family were friendly and helpful. We could stay in the dining room, which had a fireplace, and wait until the room was ready for check-in. We reserved a home-cooked dinner at the property, after being told that other guests did the same, expecting nice home made food from a farm with real animals and products. Unfortunately we experienced quite a few negative points so we left one night earlier, although we had booked for 2 nights... Summing up the negative points: Rooms way too cold, heated only with radiators, the heating in the bathroom did not work, and we had to almost beg for putting more wood in the fire. Then, the terrace doors or windows did not have a protective nets so a really big moth came in while we opened the door - a very negative experience.. Secondly, the breakfast which was included in the stay was worse than poor. One baguette, some butter and 4 spoonfuls of jam for 2 families! We expected to be offered at least some egg varieties as the farm had their own fresh laid eggs! Unbelievable how we tolerated this! No cheese offered, not even a slice of ham etc. After the host lady came 3 times asking if we want more coffee, which she brought, and she saw that nobody was eating anymore - she brought a jar of home made yoghurt and a sheet pan with something made from the old baguette from the evening and some stirred in mirabelles and eggs. Of course we tried a spoon of each but no one was hungry anymore after eating the dry baguettes. It would have been nice to be offered these already at the beginning of the breakfast or at least communicated that something like that is arriving. Not that it was very tasty..
