Pros: Anneleen and Filip were very friendly and welcoming. Their breakfast was lovely with plenty of options!

Pros: Cosy and natural
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly our hosts were very special - starting from when we arrived and being welcomed to when we had to depart. They have a very special place which has been lovingly restored. Central with lots to do in the Limburg region and only a short bike ride to Maastricht. Breakfast was more than enough to start the day with homemade jams, cakes/breads, produce from the region, etc.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind except perhaps our stay was too short
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything just perfect from the hosts to the facilities and breakfast. Would recommend this property 100%
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we truly enjoyed our stay at De Oude Winning. The owners are very friendly and Anneleen is doing a great job in order to give the guests a pleasant stay. The B&B is located in the center of a small village, but the inner square of the old farm isolates fully from the outer world. Location was ideal for us: close to Maastricht, Tongeren and the Haspengouw region. Our room was very clean and provides all comfort necessary. Both B&B rooms are above each other, but we didn't hear the neighbors underneath us. Breakfast included the standard continental breakfast items, but was very extended and was added with local pastries and fruit. Jam was home-made, all was continuously refilled.
Cons: Nothing really. A small practical recommendation maybe, is that guests on booking.com have the option to choose between two rooms, both accessible for 2 persons but with one having an additional bed (up to 3 persons). Up to 2 persons, the same price is applied. It could be more practical to have a small price differentiation between both, as we automatically selected the 'largest' room for the same price, blocking the opportunity for e.g. a group of 3 persons to book during our stay. If prices would be differentiated, we would likely still have booked the largest room :-), but would have paid for the surplus as well.

Pros: Perfect
B&B 4 Seasons - Riemst - Building

9.7 Excellent (213 reviews)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We liked the size of our room, that we did not have to go upstairs, the walk-in shower, the attention to detail, the parking. The hostess was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! Breakfast was unbelievable, all you could hope for and more. It was very cold outside, but the room was nice and warm. Only a short drive to Maastricht.
Cons: The shower did not have a door, so the floor got very wet. There are two comfortable chairs in the room, but if you want to watch TV, you have to sit on the bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and incredibly helpful. Amazing breakfast.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Big room Beautiful designed Great breakfast Friendly owner Peaceful quite area
Cons: Only 3 parking spaces for 5 rooms, although you can park on the road outside the gates. Other gests were quite noisy coming back at night, however once in their rooms it was quickly quite again. Shower (although great) leaves floor wet Curtains should be improved to make room darker

Pros: This B&B is superb - the rooms are incredibly well presented, very clean, they have everything you could need and the only thing that bettered the accommodation was the excellent service provided by Nicole. Couldn't recommend enough.

Breakfast on terrace was superb- all prepared and served by our host. Would highly recommend four seasons b&b - it's stunning.

Pros: Michael is wonderful! He accommodated my early arrival, and and provided all I asked for. I forget to bring a US-EU power adapter. Michael provided me an EU-compatible phone charger and then bought me a very high-quality adapter to run my laptop. He insisted it is on him, and didn't add the cost to the room bill. I had a guest for breakfast. Michael accommodated him and also didn't charge for this (mentioning i skipped one breakfast earlier). The breakfast is very delicious and rich of healthy options. You will enjoy a quiet, very clean, and pleasant place and a great service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has everything you can desire, and then some. We were well received in the luxury this hotel offers. The room came with a bubblebath, adjustable lights, walk-in shower, spaceous room and the most comfortable bed you can imagine. It didn't feel much like a hotel room, but coming into a nice appartment. Details as channel lists, informations are all provided. The host reassured us the bar-contents wouldn't be billed and mentioned the wifi code upon leaving, which was a suble gesture but a very mindful one. Upon arrival we asked wether we could eat in the restaurant across the street, as we were in a hurry for our event; "I will call you in a few minutes, I think everything was booked". Shortly after we were given a table without issue or fuzz, and were welcomed "by the second brother". In a restaurant where the quality and luxury is repeated. There was no issue for a hasty dinner; the chef arranged our dinner in our little available time and made sure to entertain us without a sense of rush or ugency. This was a very surprising experience that well exceeded all our expectations. There is no pretention here but passion. While the quality of food, hotel and service is not easily matched anywhere else.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The house - the lovely owners - the rooms - the garden - and an -excellent- , beautiful breakfast in the morning together with all guests and owners at one table - that was really, really nice! And we were lucky - in the evening (beautiful weather) all guests went to a concert of Andre Rieu - owners went out for diner - so we had the whole house + garden for us! Maastricht and Tongeren around the corner - a pretty good Italian restaurant at 2km distance. We will return! The area itself isn't that much - but who cares - the only reason for a 9.6 - not 10.
Cons: That we had to leave ...

Pros: Excellent breakfast adapted on the request of the guest! Time for breakfast was also adapted on request. I wanted mine already 6:30 and that was arranged perfectly! This B&B also had a free separate parking, closed by a gate, which I could open with an electronic key, which also opened the main entrance. Hence, no need to park in the street : ), and very easy to take the car to a restaurant or so, and not having to search for a new parking-place late in the evening : ) .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located outside of city hustle and bustle but close enough to explore beautiful Limburg. Fantastic and enthusiastic owner Mireille left no stone unturned to make our stay an unforgettable experience, including serving a scrumptious and tasty breakfast and always a moment to chat and to give recommendations of what not to miss in the area. Spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed rooms. In a quiet neighbourhood but very close to many restaurants and shops and the location gives you a genuine feeling of living among the locals.
Cons: Nothing - had a wonderful stay!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Upon arrival we were greeted so warmly by Im, very kind and funny host who offered us cookies and tea/coffee as a welcoming snack. The room had all the comforts we needed, drinks, maps, guides etc and it was extremely clean, as was the rest of the building. With thick curtains we slept with total silence and perfect lighting to wake up to in the morning. Breakfast room was very cozy and the options were plenty for any palate (sweet and savoury), including a freshly made omelette and an individual French press coffee maker per guest. Check-out was smooth and Im gave us great tips for our visit to Maastricht that day.
Cons: The bed for two was two single beds together.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it offers excellent fried eggs , sunny side up with bacon and tomatoes and there is a toaster available
Cons: the room lights are a bit dim
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owners and helpful. The area is quiet and not very far from Maastricht. The room was nice. Even though not very big it was more than enough.
Cons: Parking is on the street in front of the B&B. Other guest from there left before us, touched our car and left without saying anything. They had their car in front of ours.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Most wonderful welcome and attention given by the owners. We arrived early and were offered coffee and cake in the garden. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Throughout our stay the owners were so friendly and helpful as were the other guests, it was such a lovely atmosphere. We felt like we were leaving family when we left. The owners are new and I'm sure they will do very well. It's in a good location for Maastricht as it's just over 3 miles away
Cons: A double bed rather than two singles would have been better but it wasn't really an issue, I'm sure other rooms will have doubles.
7.5 Good
Pros: Wonderful hostess ,who had a lot on her mind ,but was 110%
Cons: Compact room and shower
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Owner had many years of running this b&b and it showed. Professional but warm welcome. Excellent facilities and breakfast. Interesting area as well and I wished I could have stayed a bit longer.

Martin's Rentmeesterij - Bilzen - Building
12
8.9 Excellent (223 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Martin's Rentmeesterij in Bilzen, you'll be in the historical district, within a 15-minute drive of Plopsa Indoor Theme Park and Alden Biesen Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very modern. We stayed in the newly built part which is made in a raw, but very pleasant to be in scandinavian style. It's really nicely located: there are many options for bike tours or walks in the vicinity of the hotel. Bikes can be rented in the Alden Biesen castle located nearby.
Cons: What we missed a bit was a gym in the hotel. In our (standard) room we had only one cover for the bed and it was quite a thick one. When we asked for a thinner one, we received an answer that nothing else was available, which got us a bit puzzled (not even a blanket?).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful surroundings, perfekt for a stroll after dinner if you can get one. The bar has a very romantic courtyard and serves tasteful cocktails. You cannot spend a warm summer evening better.
Cons: They have very little kitchen capacity and therefore less than a fifth of their hotel guests can get a table. Breakfast costs 20€ but is only served till 10 o' clock in the morning. Only suitable for very early risers.
5.5 Okay
Pros: . The design of the hotel, nice materials, calm and elegant.
Cons: We chose this hotel for it's wellness because we were looking to spend a weekend 'indoors' as the weather was very bad. The wellness was very small, the massage overpriced, the restaurant a gourmet restaurant but also overpriced, the staff lacked empathy, hospitality, all you may expect from staff at a luxury hotel. I would describe it as a luxury hotel without a soul. We had chosen the option of a queen size bed on Booking.com, we got two singles.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly personal, nice service, everything is clean, air conditioning in the room, available pool, sauna and hamam for rest. Also, hotel provides a lot of beauty procedures and massages. There is castle and a lot of nature around. Nice place for relax stay!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location and interior design, perfect blend of old and new, practical room with comfortable bed and great pillows.. Quiet and peaceful next to Alden Biezen castle, excellent breakfast, nice cosy bar in the "rentmeesterhouse", as it was warm weather we enjoyed some drinks on the innercourt.
Cons: Do not realy have anything I did not like, but if any comments; Nice and cosy spa, again great design, pool with white marble unfortunately only small towels for a sauna and pool not ideal. The bar albeit nice was closed at 23.00, and the innercourt with great potential and already nice because of the building itself, could be made more attractive.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful modern bedrooms in modern hotel. Standard of hotel and service was high. Breakfast was good, lots of choice,
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Flexibility during check in process
4.5 Okay
Pros: I booked for 3 nights and because of an urgent meeting asked to leave early after 2 nights. I gave enough advance warning more than 24 hrs, but I still had to pay for the original 3 nights I booked for. An unclean toilet on entering the room was the first impression, although the staff kindly made up for it and gave us an upgrade.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the whole picture of the hotel. Nice colors, materials, very clean, good beds, nice surroundings, sauna and swimmingpool very nice
Cons: When having a douche before going into the sauna and pool, the water just stayed on the floor. Really pity, that the nearest hole, where the water could go down, was in the hammam. There was also too much water on the saunafloor. Not good, damaging for the wood. I think you should quickly fix this problem. It is also a hygienic and safety issue. One could easily slip on the floor and hurt him herself. Otherwise the sauna and view from there was very nice, and as a Finnish person I can say, that yes it was a real Finnish sauna
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spa and pool are lovely. Very clean Good air-conditioning Dog friendly (lovely welcome pack for our boy) staff were friendly and super helpful
Cons: To bring dog costs €30 per night- VERY expensive No bathrobes- have to pay extra Spa treatments only available on weekends

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing, exactly what's needed when you want to escape from the city but what impressed us the most was how nice the owners are. We couldn't be more grateful for everything and we just spent one day over there! It is definitely a place to come back. Great experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Exelent breakfast, homemade jam and brought out in the sitting areas. Great smiling staff. Super restaurants nearby. the building this hotel is in is just a old historical place to be to find peace of mind.
Cons: I wish there was a TV and a small fridge in the room, that would have made this perfect, 110 %. Or maybe just a radio and the fridge :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: All good
5.5 Okay
Pros: Beautiful environment and friendly host.
Cons: Beds are really uncomfortable. Could be installed in a youth hostel maybe, but is unacceptable in this price range.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was outstanding.
Cons: Bathroom was small and tight.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location was nice , easy parking , room a good size
Cons: No coffee or tea making facilities in room. Tv on side made it difficult for the person on the bed next to it to view. Halls and stairway very echo-ie got disturbed by people leaving and returning
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Think we booked a standard room for 2 & we got one with a small balcony which was nice. Room was clean & the lady helping with breakfast was nice & helpful. Coffee was good. It's a quiet & peaceful area.
Cons: Moisture stays inside the bathroom the whole night if you keep the bathroom door closed. Not a big deal though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A small, family-operated hotel in a beautiful area near Maastricht & Valkenburg. Its location enables day trips to the Ardennes & Luxembourg. The room was spacious, the bathroom was just remodeled and squeaky clean. Breakfast was partly buffet-style, with a good variety of items.
Cons: Unfortunately there were a few issues: When arriving, the door was locked, a local telephone number to call for someone to open; the number did not seem to be working resulting in us standing in front of the hotel for about 30 minutes (after our transatlantic flight plus the 3-hour drive from Schiphol to Kanne). The WiFi in the room did not work, which made connecting to our business in the US a challenge. (the owner mentioned that they are in the process of solving the problem.) Initially the room safe was not operable, which was solved the following day.

Cons: Very very friendly and very helpful, always go that little bit extra

Pros: The owner of the hotel is a couple who are fairly nice people. They served us breakfast themselves and also beers in the bar. They even helped me with a postcard back to my home country. And my friend received it within a month. What a wonderful experience in Hotel Limburgia.

Pros: The accommodation is right next to Alden Biesen castle, plus the owners were abolutely lovely and very helpful. It was difficut to get a taxi in this area, but they offered to drive us to the train station which is 4 km away. Also very generous breakfast and tasty food that can be ordered in their restaurant.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location right across a castle
Cons: Small bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing welcome by the owner! Personally took us to room (which was huge and had window view of castle down street). You just don’t get that kind of personalized reception anymore. Bed was king size. Everything was fantastic. We walked at night to the castle which is right there, had some beers in the restaurant. Breakfast in morning was scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fresh orange juice, coffee, tea and lots of butter, jams, nutella, etc. bread was fresh! Croissants were warm and delicious. Absolutely fantastic all around. Will stay again! 10 minute drive to Tongren in morning for flea market.
Cons: Nothing.

7.5 Good
Pros: There was one nice, younger lady in the morning at the check out. She let us have a cup of coffee before departure even though we hadn’t booked breakfast. Those little gestures count. The room and hotel were very clean.
Cons: A tea/coffee maker in the room would have been nice. The walls are thin, you can hear your next door neighbours easily.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was large enough for four people, Also clean I highly recommend staying at this hotel
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, but for 17 Euros per person, it should have been!! Large choice of continental breakfast items with cooked bacon and scrambled eggs. Comfortable room with ensuite bathroom and shower. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Hotel is set back from the main road to Riemst, and was not very well marked by a roadside sign. We passed it in the daylight and only saw the sign when turned back towards Maastricht!! Room on first floor with only stairs not great for an 86 year old female with replacement knees. We only had hand luggage, and a member of staff did insist on carrying my partner's suitcase up the stairs, so couldn't have done anymore for us!
6.8 Good
Pros: It was just a one night stay. Good for a reasonably priced room if you want to go to the Grand Prix at Spa. It is about 50 minutes away. The room was clean.
Cons: No kettle for tea or coffee
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We just stay one night but was so close Tongeren ,where we visit next day in Antique market...Friendly staff and comfy bed...Nice hotel!
7.5 Good
Cons: The double bed is too small for 2 adults. The absence of the elevator. The price of the breakfast ridiculously high: 17 euros per person... never saw that price anywhere else!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a family run hotel which has a 50 + year history. The staff were all friendly and professional and made a strong commitment to making us feel at home. The location is brilliant for Tongeren and Maastricht . The location is semi rural in beautiful surroundings.
Cons: Can't think of anything. Anything that we needed was dealt with promptly and efficiently by the manager and his staff. Even their English language skills were good which was brilliant.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: location was as expected as we were there for a concert in Maastricht and knew it would be a bit of a drive.
Cons: tea and coffee facilities in room and a lift or at least an offer to take cases up to room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Sitting outside in the patio area drinking wine and hanging with my friends before going to bed was a very nice night cap.
Cons: Air conditioning or better air circulation on the top floor would be nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous family run guesthouse! We were delightfully surprised at how wonderful our stay at Hotel Malpertuus was!! The staff was so very nice. We had dinner at the on site restaurant. It was also delicious! The restaurant decor is updated and very tastefully done. It had an elegant feel with superb service and food. The hotel is clean, well taken care of and a fabulous find for the price!
Cons: Nothing!!

Pros: Overall I liked it but there were those small things that may have bother us during the stay. We enjoyed the location - it is a small village just next to the border surrounded by a hills and the restaurant is just downstairs. There is a sauna on the corridor and a nice garden to enjoy.
Cons: I didnt like the idea that there were no doors between bedroom and bathroom. The staircase looked a little like it is still under constructions and the electricity went out after 11 pm. Due to that also AC didn't work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Extra comfy bed. Good breakfast.
Cons: Slippery shower.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: great breakfast. price/quality met expectations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We arrived the weekend of Ironman in Maastricht, which was packed with contestants and fans. We were very happy to be outside of the hustle bustle in this gem of a hotel. It’s small, only 5 super clean rooms, with a restaurant on the street level ... all of which means you are given personal attention, and a great breakfast and night snacks and drinks. We brought our bikes and rode them into Maastricht each day, an easy 15 minute ride through beautiful countryside. We plan on staying there the next visit to Maastricht.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were super helpful. Off street/ out of sight parking for motorcycle much appreciated.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok.
Cons: There was only a velux window through which you couldn't see because it was too high. It couldn't be opened because of the height.. It was very dark in the room. The bathroom was very basic: simple washbasin, no showergel, no bath mat, only one toothbrush glass. The shower was clogged so that the water didn't flow away

Pros: Comfortable bed and very large room. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of foods.
