Bus access to Fiesta San Fermin. Need more dining service people.
The fact that the bus into Pamplona stopped outside the hotel and the cleanliness of the hotel in general. On Saturday and Sunday the breakfast is served in the cafeteria which exposes non smokers to the smoke. Serving any food where smoking is allowed is a big failing on their part. The selection for breakfast is also very poor considering the charge of 9.70 euros.
Close to City centre, comfortable and clean.
staff were very nice also our stay was during the bull run, a good bus service right outside hotel just a bit expensive during the week of the bull run
I liked the bathroom facilities. The hotel room was clean. The beds were really hard. Uncomfortable. I did not sleep well at all.
Friendly staff, clean rooms
We really enjoyed our visit to the Hotel Andia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was good and the meal we had in the dining room in the evening was excellent. We also made use of the underground garage, we didn't realise that they had one.
The most enjoyable staff I have met. Enthusiastic about their city, cultural, and they go way out of their way to be accomodating.
i enjoyed my stay, but i only slept there most fo the time i went into the city. the breakfast was good, but i think it should have been free considering the hike in the price for the San Fermine's festival i liked that the staff spoke English and helped out with my questions.
The hotel was clean and pleasantly decorated. Staff were fine There is no way this hotel is 3 minutes from city centre as stated, our sat nav didn't even accept it as being in Pamplona! It is 4 miles from the centre. It's location is poor, seems to be between a housing estate and an industrial site. There was very limited choice for room service even though it was only early evening and the restaurant was quite expensive.
The room was perfect Too far from city centrum
There was a flatscreen in the room. Luxureous.
comfort/services/facilities and friendly hotel staff no breakfast included
Modern faclity and an ideal stop over on our journey fron Spain to the UK via France I wish I had been informed that restuarant faclities were reduced to sandwiches and burgers in the lounge on Sundays, especially as the hotel site makes a point re high quality chef. Still found a great restuarnat in a nearby hotel, It was a nice hotel too.!!!
the location was perfect for exploring the area
The room was very nice and spacious. We were en route from Santander to Barcelona and wanted to look around Pamplona. This hotel was able to accommodate three in a bedroom (my daughter has learning disabilities) and it was reasonable close by although I am not sure we would have found anywhere much to eat if we did not go into Pamplona. This hotel is more of an en route stop off rather than a destination but as such I recommend it.
The hotel was conveinient for access from the nearby motorway and was modern and well equiped. The restaurant was closed (mid November) and the cafeteria was filled with smokers
Very modern hotel with luxury features. Secure gated parking free on premises. Staff helpful. Supermarket short walk from hotel. Signage for hotel very poor. In the middle of industrial area and attached to garage with large roll up doors for trucks which made it hard to recognize the stark modern looking building. Easily mistaken for an office complex.. Sign on building was neutral color which did not show up easily.
very poor breakfast
The quality, cleanliness and architectural elementes of the hotel. The hotel looks like a four star hotel.
clean, functional, well-priced, well-located, good parking illuminated sign in bedroom made sleep difficult.
The hotel is beautiful. The restaurant is lovely and the food delicious. The little cafe is great too, good value for your money. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to accomodate. It's a little too expensive and far away from everything. We spent a lot of money on cabs.
Pleasant reception staff. Good stopover location. Modern and clean The dinner/breakfast room was thick with cigarette smoke. Breakfast staff not very friendly.
If you are walking th Camino, this hotel has one fabulous offering. If you give them dirty laundry by 5:30pm , they will have it cleaned (and pressed!) and back to you by 8:30. It is not cheap, at $20 for whatever you can fit into a small plastic bag. would like them to serve breakfast BEFORE 7:00 am. At least have coffee and rolls available - the weather when we hiked was VERY hot, so an early start was critical, and we would have like to have coffee early if possible.
The Jakue comes as a blessed relief after a long day walking the Camino. Our room was compact but more than adequate for an overnight stay (the hotel has larger rooms). The buffet dinner, expertly managed by two enthusiastic young people, was very satisfactory and amazingly good value. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had just a couple of very minor quibbles. We would have liked a proper shower fitting rather than having to mess about trying to balance the flow from separate hot and cold taps. The breakfast was fine but not as good value as dinner. Also, it was a bit chaotic, probably because the single staff member running it had too much to do.
Charming and elegant castle hotel in a small village. 12 km to the nearest town and not accessible with public transportation. Atmosphere was really tranquil and luxurious.
Wonderful breakfast choice: excellent restaurant; well appointed rooms; complimentary mini-bar; beautiful architecture and decor of hotel. Our room was surrounded by the bathrooms of the other rooms and was quite noisy. I would certainly stay there again but would ask for a different room next time
Stunning hilltop location amazing mountain backdrop, restaurant was closed when we arrived but the concierge organised a meal for us. Interior of the hotel is beautifully designed and free mini bar was a nice touch. Tasteful colour schemes throughout and nice rooms. Galdeano is a very small village, there are no cafes or bars so you need to drive to get anywhere. Breakfast service was a bit slow.
The palacio was very nice decorated with a lot of attention to the details, the cook was very good and even made from the daily menu a gourmet. The restaurant was not open all days of the week.
We were made to feel very welcome in this newly opened rural hotel. The home cooking with regional specialities was both excellent and good value. The area is quite undeveloped for tourism but it is very beautiful and there are many things to see and good opportunities for walking. Driving to Pamplona is no problem.Free Wi fi was good. nothing to dislike, however note; it is in a very small village ( 10 villagers only) with no other facilities so car essential. There was no TV in the room but good TV lounge. The owners speak little English.
very nice location in the mountains, the hotel has the charme of a rural structure with very modern furnitures. owners are really very very kind in the evening it was sometimes very noisy till late
The mountainous area is beautiful, quiet and 25 km to Pamplona. A lot of (compact) dust in the room which must have gathered for months in corners ceiling and ridges . (we tried to clean it ourselves since you do not encounter it all at once). It can be very noisy because the loud television in the public area reaches through an open stairway all the way up to the rooms.
Very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel, Would go back again. Found the "Verbal Menu" for dinner strange! Would be difficult if you did not speak Spanish or French.
A lovely hotel but quite difficult to find, make sure you have a good map. Lovely rural situation, very small village. Menu very limited but delicious and reasonably priced. Our room was large and clean with lovely views. Our room did have a TV but no english channels. Car is essential, you'll never get there without one. English is not spoken but Senora speaks excellent French.
hotel is beautifull, staff very accommodating, village is one of the pretty ones in the area, others close by have lots of graffitti and are dismal swimming pool is use of the local one, and also the jacuzzi, however the spa is great but not for under 18's food is "very local", and is not always translated correctly, do not expect a menu for tourists!
neat and clean
The management was very friendly and very correct. Very clean hotel. The grocery and restaurant on the ground floor are very convenient for the hotel guests like myself.
Practical location for road travellers
As a traveller heading back to UK from Portugal it provided ideal stopover facilities. The bonus was the town itself, a short walk away that had plenty of bars and restaurants. Lack of secure car parking. Lack of any staff (electronic entry) was strange, but the welcome drinks in room fridge made up for it.
clean and comfortable, very quiet location I booked for two people on booking no.165419442,but the system only allowed one !! your system needs revising I would not use you again !
it was close to highway, it was good priced. It was on the route, we had big room modern hotel
Liked the location, just outside a beautiful town. Hotel was clean, modern and no reservations desk just a self check in which is ideal for people travelling and arriving at their leisure
Buffet dinner was excellent value and a good variety of food.
The room was spacious the beds were very comfortable we had a nice time there, thank you I didn't like the close proximity of the balcony next door, it didn't feel safe.
bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms very clean. Bedroom was overheated and impossible to control the heat. Restaurant was disappointing.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The 6-person apartment is quite spacious. For those exploring the Estella area by car, the location is quite convenient. The hotel is overdue for a renovation - there were stains on the carpet and a hole in a wall where the doorknob had been slammed.
food in cafeteria good at reasonable prices. quiet location but near main roads.
Hotel was new, conveinent ,ate in the resturant found it good value.
Cheap-friendly well placed good room (no more slow typist Your directions were confusing !!
We were travelling through and wanted somewhere to stay overnight. The hotel was initially a bit off putting as it is atatched to a large garage and petrol station and there where a lot of trucks outside. I was afraid it would be noisy and very basic. In fact the rooms where spotless and well appointed. The staff where very helpful, and good food was available either at the cafe or in a resturant. The rooms where air conditioned and double glazed and we had no noise from the trucks. Very good value. It was just off the main road but also set amonst lovely mountains. No. It is not the sort of hotel for an extended stay but very good for its purpose as a stop over.
The bathroom was very spacious and had the image of a 4-star bathroom, very nice. The room itself looks quite new and was quite big for a 2- star hotel above a gasstation. Automatic airconditioning with remote control was available in the room, and also a lcd tv. Fortunatley enough we found the hotel very quickly, but if you are not so lucky it can be hard. It is hidden behind a big Renault factory and is located above a gasstation. Just follow exit 396 if you're coming from Madrid and follow the signs to the gasstation, than you can't miss it!
I had no difficulties but those who do not speak Spanish could have problems.
Everything available 24 hours a day. Friendly staff. Cleanness in general.
The hotel was conveniently situated for our journey and fulfilled very well all our requirements. Check in was slow because the hotel had not received our booking from the central office.
