Great and welcoming staff, personal and great atmosphere.
Staff were very friendly on my late arrival, serving drinks after closing time. Room was large with very comfortable double bed. Nice view of the rolling autumn hills from the window. Breakfast buffet was of excellent quality, good selection of food matched to the size of the hotel. That my stay was for one night only... :o)
Good hotel, comfortable rooms, good food, good breakfast Had some dificulty getting connected to the internet on wifi at times - although signal was good.
pleasant atmosphere, nice people, very relaxing area in the hilly countryside. Spaceous room. I booked a double for just me because many single rooms are claustrofobic, but in Hotel Berghof you need not worry about that. nothing
Exceptionally good quality hotel. Splendid large room with an equally large balcony. Breakfast sumptuous and friendly and helpful staff. We had an evening meal which was well presented and quite wholesome. I could confidently recommend this hotel. Not the easiest of hotels to locate, but the map provided by booking.com was very useful
Nice, quiet room with desk and good internet. Right by the entrance to the historic center and charming market square and near pedestrian shopping street in Heppenheim, an interesting small town easily reached from Frankfurt airport (makes a good stopover for the first night after arrival in Germany at the airport).
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room (316) was nice. The price was very reasonable. It was impossible to shower without practically flooding the bathroom floor. The minibar was empty on our first night (but stocked the following day).
Problems in finding the hotel due to the fact that two strets in the same area has the same adress as the hotell. The gps couldnt tell the difference.
The hotel provided a quiet and comfortable double room. Breakfast was good and in a pleasant room. The hotel backs on to the pedestrian areas of the old town. The underground car park is convenient. The hotel was difficult to find. A sign was in the early stages of being installed. It is very easy to miss the entrance as you drive past. Traffic can be quite brisk on the access road.
Very close to the square were there is alot of nice resturants and there is very nice surroundings.
Good location. Man at the desk was great. Spoke perfect English. If you are driving, be aware there are more than one Siegrfriedstraase in Heppenheim. Our GPS nav system directed us first to on a wrong one, but soon found our way.
Ideal location for town
The hotel is close to the autobahn, it is easy to find, there is parking in the garage, it is situated in the old center of the town, there are restaurants in the vicinity.
Location: near the lake, good terras with a good menu. No airconditioning (yes, it was hot).
Conveniently located hotel; rural, yet minutes from the Autobahn. The bar is a joke, the service is a bit wooden and the minibar is empty
The hotel was quiet and clean. The food in the restaurant was very good.
Silent area with splendid terrace at the Bruchsee. I had a very nice balcony with furniture. The fitness area was not very inviting as it was in a dark conrner of the basement.
Convertable room and big space ,Good service and breakfast NO
A very nice hotel with a restaurant in a very old town with a mountain top castle that is a short drive from the Frankfurt airport.
Silence Far from city center
Quiet location. Friendly staff. Good value for price. Small TV screen.
Hotel was very convenient to the Autobahn. Room was excellent and we had a great night's sleep.
The hotel is in a quiet location. It has very good decor and facilities (we especially appreciated the small fridge with complimentary mineral water). The hotel restaurant was exceptional, with outstanding meals and excellent service. In warmer/sunnier weather, our room's small balcony w/ table & chairs would have been very welcome. Our room had a view of the lake, as requested - but only if we stepped out onto the small balcony and leaned out to the right. The U-shaped hotel layout meant that our ground floor room faced directly across a small garden towards the large windows of the dining room in the opposite wing. The situation was very exposed to view, and we had to keep our net curtains drawn at all times for privacy.
Everything was good: a magnificent location, spacious and complete room, diner and breakfast were good.
We were delighted with this hotel:idyllic setting on beautiful, small market square; friendly reception, good bedroom and bathroom; free parking behind hotel (only 11 cars) Very good evening meal in restaurant - pleasant service. Beware Market Place is traffic free. Hotel car park can only be accessed from one side street; not the one given in directions to hotel by Booking.
The exterior was beautiful and quite quaint, and the village center was exquisite. We could not sleep at all due to the fair that was scheduled just a block away. The music was very loud until after midnight. The parking garage was not high enough for our vehicle, so we had to park far away.
Beautiful setting, good restaurant nice service we arrived pretty late. Some trouble to find it first.Good parking in the locked backyardu For us it had be better if breakfast was served earlier as we wanrted to start earlier in the morning.
Very impressive location in the market square. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant. PS. For those who plan to climb to the nearby mountain in the evening time to see the castle: there are wild boars who can bite you!
Perfectly situated, very efficient, excellent kitchen, friendly staff
clean basic room overlooking the old market square, lots of old world charm the charming old market square in the daytime is a lit up noisy market square at night. difficult to go to sleep. We felt room was a bit overpriced.
Friendly greeting on arrival, excellent English spoken, good location, excellent value for money, would definately recomend.
A clean, comfortable hotel in a beautiful old town square, with excellent, friendly staff. Faultless.
nice hotel for a country side stay, all facilities ok, only for us a bit further from heidelberg than expected (50 min ride). dog price per night was double as all other hotels we visited in Germany (8€ p/n for a small dog)
Clean, confortable, nice hand-written little message at the reception to indicate our rooms location (was late in the night). Calm and kind staff. There are always and everywhere at least one detail to mention, but no need to do it concerning this hotel.
Bed, shower and toilet were clean. Room did not see a vacuumcleaner for some time. Chair was too dirty to sit on and it was the only chair in the very small room. Breakfast was poor.
The attached Indian restaurant provides good food and a very friendly service. Late check-in was no problem, we were expected and it all went very well. The noise from the trains passing near-by was very frequent during the night and woke us up so many times. But anyway, we chose this hotel as a stop during a travel from Zurich via Stuttgart for a stop and needed a hotel leaving only a short trip to Frankfurt Airport the next day with a reasonable rate and easy access to the A5 and for that it served its purpose. Yes, the facilities are very old-fashioned but the room and bathroom were very spacious and it was clean enough.
This hotel is very near to the train station, so it is very convenient. The Hotel Manager and staff are also very friendly and helpful.
