Spacious bathroom and separate closet. Big room with lots of space. Reception first had to be reminded that we had a special discount and had to ask for our drink vouchers. Then he gave us a room already occupied. We found that out when the door wouldn't open and the bell man tried to use his master and the room was dead bolted. The. Then we went back and the reception tried to give us a room where we had to switch rooms after two nights out of a three night stay. Then when checking out bill was wrong. Had the resort fee even though we had prepaid via travel zoo which included the resort fee. Service wa really bad at reception. Housekeeping didn't replace the toiletries and forgot to provide towels. Best service was from the golf cart drivers/bellman.
Quiet rooms, friendly staff, beautiful location. Nothing...would have been confusing to walk from lobby to room (good thing there were people to help you get around).
Beautiful grounds and facilities. Spa was very nice as well. Bed was not level, head was lower than feet. Resort fee of $30.00 plus tax, might as well say $35.00 resort fee. Wifi signal was weak in our room.
Sonoran Desert Beauty, Awesome Spa, Excellent facilities and staff. Spotted Donkey dining!
The room was excellent and the staff were excellent
Fantastic location, close to Scottsdale & Phoenix. Beautiful resort setting, well maintained grounds, great spots for catching AZ sunsets. Casitas are updated, comfortable, & relaxing, love the fireplace stocked w/wood! Staff are extremely hospitable & go above & beyond expectations. Spa offers appealing array of fitness classes. Throughly enjoyed SUP yoga class. Definitely a resort I'll return to again as I had a wonderful experience. Super soft pillows, staff did bring firmer pillows to room once requested though so no real issue here.
What a unique resort with the 12 million year old boulders piled high all around the resort. This resort has just about everything from a fabulous golf course, excellent spa, fitness center,2 swimming pools, hiking, an organic garden, meditation area and even a duck lake (where we say a turtle). The bell service was extraordinary serving your every need and the business meeting facilities are great. I highly recommend a stay at the Boulders. There are renovations going on in the lobby so it's a little messy until I believe September and they were a bit understaffed at check-in that caused a bit of a delay
Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is lovely and has such a beautiful view of the hills. The hotel staff and the staff at the Fireside Grill were all very nice and helpful, even though we had 3 children with us 2 yrs old and younger. We ended up checking in late and met Dave at the front desk. He was very helpful and really nice. Thanks for a nice stay! The tub in two of our three rooms drips constantly and the toilets are quite loud when they flush and then refill.
Plenty of room. Location. Not clean. Hallways were very dirty. Room was not real clean. I recommend washable covers for bed. Additional blankets available and regular sized pillows. The pillows on the bed were the size of decorative pillows...not even standard size. I would also suggest to provide tea and creamer for coffee (rather than powdered creamer). Automatic checkout would be suggested and it would be nice to have pay per view movies available.
Location acroos from the Fountain was great. Walked around the Fountain each day and met several very nice people. Great location.
The staff was extremely accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep, but it met all our needs. We enjoyed tasty breakfasts in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the business center wasn't fully operational, but the staff, once again, came to our rescue and printed the documents we needed
Service was excellent. This is a relatively new hotel and the picture on their web page does not do it justice. Nice clean facility, very nice staff. Great value and located in a very nice community of Fountain Hills...just across the street from the central fountain. The only negative as with all the hotels we stayed at in Phoenix...the coffee was more like water than coffee. Come to Canada, we'll show you what real coffee is like.
The hotel was a very quiet place. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The Fireside Grill
Front Desk were VERY helpful! Cleaning service good. Nice location. Poor Pillow choice very uncomfortable.. too thick hurt my neck The whole family complained we had a room with 4 people and given towels for two Had to ask for extra towels every day! Front Desk were VERY helpful! Coffee maker very poor! Coffee for the in room maker not good.
The rooms are very spacious and clean, the attached bar and grill serves wonderful reasonably priced breakfast and also has a nice happy hour. The pillows are small and hard very strange, coffee maker was broke and the carpet could definetly use replacing or a deep cleaning at least, the fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night causing everyone to evacuate the building, however it was a false alarm.
All through the night I was bitten several places on my arm. Looked like spider bites or some other resident insect that has made the mattress home.
Location, pool Rooms outdated, grounds not well maintained. Disappointed for the price
The venues for weddings is nice. Large and scenic. The BBQ dinner was good. We were put in the Villas and having the pool there was fun and convenient and all ours. Overall it was a fine experience but the resort could use a spruce up. The wait staff was slow to respond to empty dishes on the buffet. Also, they delivered cake to a few of the tables and then seemed to stop. The handicapped rooms need to be renovated. The one my brother was in should have had higher toilets, walk in/roll in shower, no carpet, all tile and the bed was too high. Doorways were wide enough and there were ramps.
It was very clean and a beautiful location There was no room service available late night, hotel bar closed early in the night and no place would deliver. Also, stayed in the villas and the owners came into our room with a ton of stuff they dumped in the livingroom and when we came to check out they proceeded to tell us we were suppose to be out hours ago and were VERY rude and disrespectful even after I explained we had a 3pm check out that was given by the hotel and on our paperwork. Once we got to the hotel to check out officially they confirmed our 3pm check out and apologized. The villa was 23B 5159 and the owners were VERY VERY rude and I would never stay at that one again.
The location of the resort was absolutely beautiful. the pool was beautiful as well. We also thoroughly enjoyed be onsite Rooms were dated and nothing spectacular. It was comparable to staying at a Motel 6. Definitely not what I think of when I hear the whole word resort.
Location and staff Unruly drunken guests that woke us up the 1st night of our stay. After repeated calls by us and other guests, hotel should have evicted the troublemakers.
The resort itself was very nice. The only problem is, we booked through this website, but when we arrived at the hotel, they said they had never received our reservation. Thankfully, there were still rooms available, and they did honor the rate we had been quoted on this site.(I had a paper copy of the confirmation). If you book through Kayak, make sure you call the hotel before you arrive to make sure they have your reservation!!!
Location Hard bed, small tv
Location was perfect for us, The main pool chairs were a mess. The room was okay. Nothing fancy.
Location Carefree Resort and Conference Center is in a beautiful location. For the services provided, it is overpriced. I was a bit surprised that the place is not as geared to customer satisfaction as they ought to be. I requested a room change due to many extraneous noises from rooms next door, as well as from the outside. Instead of making immediate amends even though they had available rooms, they said their system could not let me move to another room till the next day! I come to a resort to get some rest and relaxation, not to be kept up all night with various noises. As a result I could not sleep all night the first night I arrived. The next day, i had to ask again to be moved, and after persisting, they finally did. They are isolated from other restaurants, and do provide a shuttle to the downtown area. They do have a restaurant. Here too, customer service was less than desirable. I had ordered a salad (no ingredients needed to be cooked) for take out, and although they said it would take 30 min to get this, I did not get it before 50 min had gone by! 50 min wait for a fresh salad is just unbelievable. Not to mention that it came only after I reminded them of the duration of my wait. Needless to say, I expect a lot more from a place in the business of providing rest and relaxation while eliminating hassle. This did not seem to be their strong suit. I would only recommend this place if no other better accommodation is available. 3 stars.
price for stay was great. great location for where we wanted to be. quaint. restaurant servicw was a bit slow.
It had a country club feel - very quiet, an older crowd, not a place to party.
Setting and quality of facilities were great. A luxury feel. Beautiful golf course.
Nice staff... clean rooms ... The booking service via kayak get a room .com did not send over my fax and therefore my room was given away luckily after 2 hrs on the phone with customer service they faxed over my reservation. I thank God they had one room left or an 2 hr drive home that night would have extremely sucked... no complimentary nothing on your behalf ... worst service ever kayak... thanks eagle inn for understanding their ineptitude. ...
The proximity to Fountain Hills No one was at the front desk when I checked in. I waited about 15 minutes. Then the guy didn't give me my credit card back. He didn't offer to drive me to my room even though it was late at night and I had luggage. They have golf carats for that reason. He just wasn't helpful. Also, this was a true case of the outside not reflecting the inside. The rooms were eh. You could get better at a Courtyard Marriott. The carpet reminded me of a Red Roof Inn. Now we're they clean? Yes. But cheap. Not what I expected. The room did have a fireplace though. So i wouldn't stay there again but it wasn't horrible.
