A special place with an interesting fin de siecle atmosphere and a good kitchen
Location The dirty water from the bathroom taps and the false advertising of a swimming pool
It was very quiet; albeit a little odd as it was a sanitorium as well, I think.
Staff were very friendly and happy to give loads of information on the area. The rooms are basic, but clean, fresh and comforable. The breakfast was very good indeed. The bathrooms are very compact so be aware!
Franco, the manager could not have been more helpful! And the rest of the staff were great, too! The town of Riolo Terme is very pretty, and deserves a longer stay then one night, and it is very close to Bologna and Imola, and I would be happy to return.
Good restaurant for the dinner. Free garage parking and internet.
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the town center, where the restaurants and a few historic sites are located. The railroad station is a little farther from the hotel. It's a pleasant walk, except in hot weather when you're going to dinner. A taxi downtown costs approximately 8 EU, and there is also a restaurant in the hotel.
We booked the hotel in order to attend the Imola circuit for the World Superbikes weekend. It was within walking distance and was a good choice in this respect. The breakfast lacked variety for all tastes, although there was nothing wrong with what was available, but a better selection is usually available in 4* hotels.
size of the room. easy to find. toilet not very clean. Some hair out of the shower and next to the wc
Friendly staff, quiet location in the "sleeping" district of the city. Leaking pluming in bathroom and unpleasant smell from ventilation which was connected with restaurant's kitchen few floors above definitely made some trouble.
Very spacious and luxurious, kingsize bed Only paid WiFi internet
The location of the hotel is good and at reasonable distance from imola centre and the autodromo. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Also the halls equiped with led lights at various angles are different from the usual. The breakfast was ok and the serving personal helpful and friendly The reception personal was cold and direct. The shower cabin looked unprofessional with its sharp edges. The breakfast was ok but nothing too great.
Staff,cleaniness and rooms
The overall comfort
Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent value for money No
The hotel manager Frederico was excellent, we had a few problems not related to the hotel, however, this gentleman sorted everything out with a smile. Thanks again Frederico. We vwe could have stayed longer.
i liked a lot the area and the atmosphere of the hotel.staying in this hotel was very pleasant for me
We were upgraded into a better room at no charge. The bed was very comfortable. The room was recently updated. Excellent value for the money.
We spent two fantastic nights at this hotel... the bathroom was a real treat... it was a big room with a jacuzzi bath and seperate rain shower. The staff were friendly and helpful as were those in the bar attached. Imola town is a 10-15 minute walk away... no need to drive there as the town is mostly pedestrianised... it is a bustling, beautiful and historic place... we arrived during a music festival and had a great time.
Free wifi, confort, nice persons, I really appreciated my stay in this hotel! near of Imola race Nothing, it was great!
Reasonably priced, quiet high standard room with internet connection, helpful reception staff, good breakfast, easy parking, easy to find. Have not seen other customer reviews so cannot comment on their accuracy.
Very central location and friendly staff Decor was a bit dated but everything was spotless and well-maintained.
the room 111 no bar
The beautiful spacious room, and the polite friendly staff. If you like shopping it is the perfect location. would have like access to a hotel bar and to be able to sit and have a beverage before going out to eat etc. f
Nice Hotel, friendly staff No bar in the evening
The ambiance of the hotel.
location, cleanliness and staff current refurbishment, noise was slightly offputting. some seating needs attention or replaced and some choice for english breakfast even if only toast
I cannot say a bad word about the Hotel Vittoria. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the location of the hotel was excellent. Only a short walk to the centre of the town. We had a very pleasant stay.
Beautiful 'Old World' feel to the hotel, great place to stay in Faenza
Clean, nice, tastefull interior, staff spoke good english hard bed,
Good position in a beautiful building; large room; good breakfast; possibility of parking nearby at no cost (during holidays)
access to and from the motorway was very good. the bedrooms were well insulated against motorway noise. Hotel surrounds untidy and unwelcoming. Room and corridor decor terribly depressing. No coffee making facilities. Steps up from car park to hotel made moving luggage difficult.Room rate was high compared to other better hotels used during trip.
close to the highway exit. ashtrays and smoking smell in non smoking room and they do not change your room.
The staff were very polite and cheerful. One thing, the hotel called me a taxi to take me to the airport. The taxi driver drove many kilometers in the wrong direction and it cost me 10 euros more than the trip from the airport.
We found this a lovely hotel for facilities and comfort. It was particularly good value for money. The hotel is great for those arriving by car. For anyone else there is neither public transport nor a safe walk path into Faenza. It is a taxi or a taxi!
The Ammerican receptionist was exceptional her service she provided to us was just outstanding, we loved our stay and the children enjoyed the internet connections is the rooms awesome,
The fact that it was near the motorway which was the only reason I booked it having stayed at this hotel before. Also reasonable price Room smelling of smoke and oppressive heating. Having to make breakfast tea with lukewarm water. Small cups needing constant trips to breakfast bar. Fixed overhead shower geared to men. No tea /coffee making facilities in room (which are beginning to appear in Italian hotels).
friendly staff and helpfull
Friendliness of the staff
very intresting hotel for one night stay before continuing to final destination....
Very good value for the money (45€/night for a single room), good breakfast, very large rooms!
High quality fittings in room and en suite
Please write at least 15 words it's a nice hotel .sometimes gives you a family feeling!of cource, best of it, the bar!
Placement and privacy, stone finishing and furniture Only shower cabin
The room size, general design, bead comfort, air conditioning system, parking facilities, easy to see it from highway The inadeacuate waste treatment (insufficient separators for diferent kind of residues),Lightting of the room table, publicity front lights
Apart from location, i'd say the lobby was among the best things at the hotel. That says enugh. Most of the staff didnt talk english, so that made it a bit hard for me. The resturant was x5 times more expensive then other resturants nearby.
large room, large bathroom, friendly staff, clean and tidy the breakfast was not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel..bit basic
Four star hotel for reasonable cost Expensive internet connection, slighty showing its age, Good range of breakfast choices one day, very few the next, noisy location in some ways, parking often used by non-hotel guests.
Both the room and ensuite bathroom were really spacious and very nicely decorated and furnished. The hotel's restaurant, which specialises in seafood was excellent, though a little formal for our taste. Location was good for going to Imola motor racing circuit, and Faenza is a pleasant town. Restaurant was expensive (but very good so probably worth it). It was fuly booked the first night we were there but the reception recommended a restaurant in Faenza and ordered a taxi for us.
Lovely setting & grounds; but above all an exceptionally good restaurant which was a pleasure to eat at The double row of barbed wire around the edge of it; difficult to find
It is impossible that the hotal has 4 strats...maybe in the 70s. Old furniture, small windows, very bad breakfast.
Large free parking, good Breakfast, Warm welcome (by a young man and young woman), Elevator and I'm ok with the price during my periode (half May). I should visit this hotel again. The internet service from Vodafone is to expansive. Single beds are a bit small for a 4 star ranked hotel.
Free internet in the lounge
Staff very friendly. Very near to Faenza city, but car necessary. The hotel rooms were basic and old. The breakfast is poor: I suggest you to ask directly for capuccino or cofee to the barman. The hotel should be classified as 3*.
We were only there one night and just visited the town.
Heel vriendelijk onthaal we waren in faenza voor de passatore (100km ultraloop) ondanks we lang voor het toegestane incheck uur aankwamen werd ons toch snel een kamer aangeboden
This was noz my first time there. What I liked is what you have allready questioned in point 2 no
Hotel staff were very friendly. English speaking. Very helpful indeed. Rooms were adequate, clean, 'Klima that worked !' Shower was a little on the small side but bathroom itself clean and good size. Towels and laundry seemed new. Good sized Parking area with no problems to access. You would need a car to get into the town itself. 10 mins from the A14. Good selection of food and quality good, although i thought just a little expensive. Some of the area's may'be could do with a little refurb, but on the whole it's ok
internet access not free
Location at the edge of a beautiful little town with great restaurants. Very basic in presentation and facilities. Some of the electrics were from the amateur school of diy.
The quiet location and the relaxing sound from the river. The poor meal service in the evening was compensated by the helpfulness of the personnel to provide plates, glasses etc to bring and eat our own food and wine. The perfect location for excursions by car in the wine and food districts in the south of Emilia Romagna as well as the short distance to the Bologna airport. Only two of the staff people were able to communicate in English.
Most of all the countryside.
Reasonable standard hotel in a good location
