The staff was very helpful and friendly Bathrooms are outdated - rooms are completely renovated and very pleasant, but they forgot about the bathrooms.......
The reception staff made me and my wife(african) feel unwanted
That internet was available in our room on the tv for a small cost and having a gym available.
Good quality hotel near to town centre Nothing
The staff were very polite & friendly, especially in the dining room. We've stayed there a number of times because of it's great location next to a wonderful park in Reggio Emilia.
Very good location, in a green park, some minutes from the downtown. Nice, clean room. The bathroom should been renovated a bit.
The location was great, right on the edge of a lovely park and within walking distance of the sites in the city center.
nothing I stayed there for over 2 weeks and never once got a smile from any staff. Food was too expensive also. Air con kept breaking down. If I wanted to use the gym I had to keep phoning reception to come and open it which would take them ages.
The position of the hotel is very good. The area is lovely and full of restaurant and places to see. The classic rooms are very poor 2 star, but the superior rooms are of a 4 star standard.
this time I've got a good price for the room; but normally prices are higher; good position and access
Very nice staff, very clean, great food!
friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast fine no cupboard in the room, only 1 chair for 2 persons
Better breakfast than expected! Easy to reach and near the autostrada. Need to have a car to get in to city center, but works well. Good capacity of the air condition.
Good location and economical comfort Missing the facility of an outside seat for the use of smokers
breakfast was very good specially in italian conditions, not only coffe :) good location, near highway
Nice, new and modern hotel, friendly staff, good value for money. Little far from downtown, but this what not a problem for me. I will like stay again in future.
On our way to Tuscany. The hotel location was good, easy to access. Yes, breakfast was under all acceptance. The breakfast staff was unfriendly and there was hardly anything left to eat. How can you run out of bread one hour before breakfast ends???
The breakfast was poor
very good location good parking nice selection for breakfast
shuttkeservice to the city airco didnot function well. no minibar
Clean, modern, efficient, excellent secure car park. No
Good location, secured parking and good service.Hotel is 5 minute walk to the centre. Room decoration
The Hotel Staff was extremely courteous.. Really friendly and cooperative.., though the room size was really small, but being a business traveler it didn't mattered much.. The WiFi Internet was extremely poor..
convenient for train station. Quiet location. Room too small
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was pleasant, courteous and efficient.
The staff were extremely helpful. Edison was extra attentive and helped me with every question. Restaurant was advertised as open, but was closed the entire time I was at the hotel.
restaurant,nice food no
great place !
Staff was very helpful. Excecllent location. Pretty hotel. Nice buffet breakfast. We stayed in Room 236 and water pressure was poor and had a problem with lack of hot water for showers.
I have stayed in lots of hotels in Europe and the Hotel Posta has been the cleanest. It was a great location and very welcoming. That the bar was not open on a weekend and it was the least comfy room, maybe could be updated???
Valued the history of the hotel and the way it is presented to maintain the past while providing all that is needed by a discerning traveller today.
Free internet connection
access from motorway The hotel was full and I got a smoking room, which stank
free internet connection was good tea/coffe facilities in room would have been useful cooked breakfast poor and cold but rest of buffet ok
Very comfortable room, large bathroom, good food in restaurant, excellent breakfast buffet, plenty of parking space. Town of Regio Emilia is well worth a visit. Hotel is not within walking distance of town, but this does mean that parking is no problem.
During our visit end of April it was very hot and the airconditioning in the room could not be switched on according to the staff. A/c in public areas worked. Lunch facilities are minimal. A translation of the minimal menu into other languages would be appreciated, as the waiter knew no other language.
Hotel is near to the exhibition centre in Riggio Emilla only €8.00 in a taxi which come in five minutes
The hotel was very clean and tastefully built. The interiors of the rooms were of good design and colours. The hotel had good engineering done in order to save power and at the same time provide comfort. Good breakfast. The room did not have an electric water kettle and therefore no arrangement for making tea or coffee, which, according to me is a basic requirement now a days.
the clean room, silence at night, good air-condition additional payment for wellnes
Nice rooms, luxury hall, quite
Excellant hotel , staff very helpful . No
God position respect to the Highway. Nice rooom, clean, pleasant colours and style. Satisfactory continental breakfast. Parking place outside or pay parking in the hotel's parking. Very confortable and pleasant Lobby, bar, Wi Fi internet. Internet didn't work in the room.
Excellent hotel, more a quality business than a holiday hotel, comfortable large bed and good bathroom facilites. We had to ask almost every day for a second glass in the room, the reason every time was "sorry this is more a business hotel and the rooms are normally occupied by one person" surely the housekeeping staff could see both sides of the bed had been used or there were two toothbrushes............
Food was good, a pity the dining room looks more like a ball room.Whereas the breakfast room is really cosy one needs a car, it is too far from center
Facilities are not not included in the price. you have to pay an extra fee for them.
The room was excellent and very quiet, the hotel was beautiful The environment was not nice (industry and highroad), no walking facilities, the terrace was not usable because too warm; the television set was not good quality; no internet facilities
I was wake up at 6:30 because the hotel staff did not check the reset of the parameter of the TV clock. I have planned to wake up at 7:30, and one hour in advance disturbed me a lot. It was not easy to find with navigator because it was in a different location that the one they put in the web site.
The accessibility of the restaurant and the excellence of the meal both for dinner and the breakfast buffet not a real double bed...2 singles pushed together
It was easy to reach In general for being a three star hotel was OK. The evaluation from the guest is too high.
Susan was terrific and so was the breakfast. We all liked the ambiance and design of the Hotel.
staff was extrimly accomodating and helpful. breackfast was very nice comperade to other 3 stars hotels
Very helpful staff. Excellent dining on site.
Price Far from the city
Connecting rooms great for families. We used the hotel as a stop-over traveling up through Italy and it was just fine for this.
It is a well located and easily accessible. The bathroom has only tub with spa jets. I pesronally prefer quicker and more convenient shower boot.
Excellent value. Large and comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
Very traditional, nice rooms
location staff was not the kindest
The location is perfect indeed, central and very quiet There was nobody available at the reception to show us the way to the hotel (Hotel Reggio is a dependence of Hotel Posta), the reception guy was quite rude. The room was dark, two lamps didn't work, both windows looked on a dark courtyard
Fantastic room, big bright and clean, really central location, helpful staff. Don't try and park anywhere nearby! Located in the centre of mainly pedestrianised old town, so difficult to find any parking anywhere near the hotel. Reception is actually at a separate hotel 5 mins walk away - there are no signs when you arrive, and when we rang to try and find the hotel, the receptionist was unable to give us clear directions on how to get to the check in hotel.
Very difficult to locate due traffic restrictions in town center. No parking here, staff at Hotel Posta unable to give directions, saved by man on bicycle who took us. We were transferred at no extra charge to a room at Hotel Posta which was a plus. The garage is small and an early arrival is recommended. This was the most noisy hotel we have stayed in for years, from the street outside.
good position and value, freindly staff my colleague had sky in his room but there wasn't one in mine
room, breakfast it is not nessesery to change the towels every day
piazzas shops and small friendly bars with lovely redwine and gorgeous bar snacks in a traditional italian setting
This hotel is annex of hotel Post. Please inform your customers to go at the reception of Post hotel because Albergo Reggio has not own reception and nothing on the door of Albergo says for example :first road turn right and then left and after 100meter is the reception of Hotel Post.Especially when somebody arrives in the midnight at the town..
Only one towel in the room, extreme smell of smoke
Quiet hotel in nice location. Breakfast was not very appetising - carton of juice had mould growing in the cap & fruit was not fresh.
Good breakfast. Swimming pool
Friendly and helpfull staff: airconditioning was switched on before our arrival (37 C outside). Good breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Restaurant was closed. Bathroom due for renovation. From the motorway the hotel is on the other side of Reggio (following the 'opital' signs will get you very close but you'll still need a map or nav)
Very welcoming, restful. Lovely, large spacious room, accommodating two adults and one teenager. Quiet and beautiful pool area. Not overly fancy, simple breakfast, but a very delightful place to stay.
a very clean, friendly enviroment, the personnels are so nice breakfast is excelent,i love this hote,i,m very convenient in this hotel, thanks so much
Provided the right need at the right time for the right price.
Our room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel needs to be better signed from the "main" roads. Very difficult to find.
the area it is very quiet the parking lot it is too small
The hotel is located in a very quiet area, yet only short distance away from Reggio Emilia. The restaurant offers a very nice set menu with very good value for money.
the tipe of clients,the personnels,the atmospher,cleanless,comfort,int free,thanks for everything
Friendly staff, breakfast and dinner were excellent, has lots of atmosphere A little difficult to find but worth it once you get there.
The environment and the position from where it is possible to see Reggio Emilia and a great landscape. The heating system was out of order; the room was not comfortable at all.
good parking, wi-fi, easy access poor room condition
Nice welcome, pleasant staff, clean room, wifi I wouldn't recomment the restaurant, unpleasant staff and low quality food.
Hotel was good, clean and staff were friendly. Access to the hotel was fine however fairly away from the Parma fair grounds and traffic was quite extensive. Overall a decent hotel.
Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Had a pool but i did not have time to use it!. Very good value.
We booked this hotel as there was a photo of swimming pool in the hotel information but the pool was not well maintained, dirty, impossible to use.
Staff was welcoming and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nice swimming pool, if a little small and the restaurant was reasonably priced with satisfactory food.
Kind and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and comfy room made up a wonderful stay at the hotel. Dico near.
kindness of the staff the floor in the rooms is very cold.
this was a basic hotel that fullfilled our needs of close to the autostrada and easy to find for a quick over night stay after a flight and slightly nearer our destination. nothing special nothing bad
The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, cool and clean It was apity that the restaurant was closed ,but your staff adviced us a nice restaurant near by.
The staff is very kind and allways is willing to help.
Located in the midle of ancient city.
Clean, comfortable, quiet Waiting for check in
Friendly Staff Bathroom in particular very poor condition, the breakfast was very poor all done on plastic plates etc and very poor quality . We were bitten by insects . For a place as hot as reggio not having air con seems strange and not comfortable. It seemed more like a 1 star or less than a 2 star. Worst hotel we stayed in in Europe.
We loved to stay at the hotel. It is old fashioned, for me very nice. The hotel staff was realy nice, they did not complicate for our xxl dog. All our questions were answered. If I will stay in Reggio Emilia again I will definitely go there again (especialy if prices stay the same). I would just like softer quilts. They were very rough.
The best part of the stay was the warm and friendly staff who create a family like environment for their guests. A boiled egg for breakfast would have been nice for a change as we had a long stay at the hotel as well as some fresh fruits.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They worked hard to bridge the language gap. The value was great. The showers are very small and tended to create puddles on the floor.
Nice small hotel with very friendly staff. Good location just in the middle of the centre. Breakfast could improve a lot.
Great room, nice view and very polite staff. The price is also accesible. It's good place for anyone who want spend time in Emilia-Romania. From Reggio is very close to Bologna, Venice and Verona. We spend nice week there and recommended anyone who would like see central Italy.
Frienliness and helpfulness of the staff Cafe latte every morning.
Closed to rail station Internet problema
Good hotel, comfortable, friendly staff, clean rooms, reception desk works round the clock. The hotel is located near the railway station. Near the public underground car park with reasonable prices. Wi-Fi - free, but only in the zone of the first (official) floor and the speed of the minimum.
Good location across from the railway station, although the neighbourhood felt a little unsafe at night. Within walking distance of city centre. Good sized room. Poor breakfast.
Economic I found hair on the floor.. bad neighbour, near train station... doorhandle was like touching a glue bar... capelli sul pavimento, pessimo quartiere e la maniglia della porta era praticamente appiccicosa... per qualche euro in più ci sono soluzioni migliori
Linens, towels were exlelent, personal nice, equipment old. i choos it as close to train station, but actualy it was not so close and in not very nice place - not for a single woman to come in evening. around was only 1 restorant (looks not bad) and kebabs.... i did not take risk to go further from the hotel...- so i could not have tea in evening when back from travel to other city. it is just a hostel to sleep in small town if no other options in more nice places
No one in the hotel speaks english, but this doesn't bad even. Stuff is very friendly and always ready to help you. Equipment in the rooms are rather old, but everything is clean. Furnishing and towels are white and starched. Continental breakfast is poor as always, but everything is fresh and capuchino is tasty. Hotel is right in the center of the town and you can leave your car there and walk around the city. Good choice for unpretentious people if you need to have a sleep for 1-2 nights.
Excellent value for money. Central location though could be a little noisy overnight. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a single female travelling on her own.
it was cheapp and it was very near to the town center and to the main train station! - the breakfast was a little bit poor
Very warm staff with large smile, cheap price, clean and nice room, easy access from and to the train station, good breakfast. They could give even an invoice! Staff speaks Italian only, so communication is hard if you don't speak Italian. There wasn't 24 hour hot water, neither internet connection. The walls are very thin, so all the noise from the street is audible.
The staff was very attentive and made me feel at home. Lack of air conditioning during a very hot part of the summer made the room a little uncomfortable.
The room was excellent, large with large bathroom. Very modern and clean. Totally soundproof and with very wide double bed. Excellent staff, good breakfast - very impressed.
a very comfy bed, good choice at breakfast, extremely helpful staff dark corridors, cold rooms, situated on an industrial estate, counted five street girls in the evening nearby,
