great big rooms, very clean and nice in general for a cheap place very-very bad location, in a middle of working neightbourhoud...very far away from the centre, 12 metro stations+20 minutes walk. Not for young couples that wanna be out in centre at night!!!! no way to come back there after 1 am besides taxi which will take 20 euros from your pocket each time. very bad location!!!!
big room not close to subway station, 15~20 minutes by walk
Spacious room Friendly and helpful staff
breakfast is good. staff are nice. bed was good. the room is not soundproof, thus we could hear the noise from the street in the evening. the view is not very nice from the window (10 floor blocks). wifi is (very) slow. it was a little bit far from the city center.
Silken Torre Gardens was the perfect stop for our family visiting relatives in Madrid. Clean and quiet. A bit out of the way for downtown Madrid but a short bus ride at 1 euro puts you in the heart of the city. Air conditioning was excellent in Aug. and generous breakfast included. The front desk staff could not have been more cheerful and helpful, and they spoke fluent English. Loved the hotel.
Fantastic value, room great, staff helpful. Overall a great hotel. Takes about 1 hour to get from hotel to Sol Plaza - 15 min walk then 3 different lines on metro. Apparently there is a bus from hotel to Goya Metro though. Great hotel and great value if don't mind being away from everything - it's value for money versus convenience.
close to shopping mall and the metro. Good very pleasant staff. Cheap (12 Euro) trip to airport. Would stay there again A/C in room was not working well
This was not our first time at this hotel, and we continue being delighted.
the location, the very comfortable and clean room, the quality of service and reception, the area full of children playgrounds, the shopping centre nearby with restaurants, shops, cinemas.
Close to the Airport Barajas and a spacious room. Wireless internet is quite expensive
The room was excellent and very spacious, well laid out. Facilities were excellent. Underground Parking was a bonus. Excellent value. Staff excellent
Spacious, well equiped, clean room. Peaceful area. comfortable, large double bed. Very good selection at breakfast.Safe parking at hotel. A long way from the centre and the nearest underground station.
pleasent, clean rooms
The breakfast is fabulous and very generous absolutely worth it. The location is ideal, retiro park, reina Sofia museum, thyssen museum, botanical gardens and other attractions are all within a ten minute radius and the concierge is very helpful. The pillows are a bit hard and the room I got had no view except to other windows, but to be honest the rooms are impeccable and comfortable.
Location and value The noise from Aircon tubes
American who enjoyed staying at the Agumar Hotel for a few days. Friendly and helpful staff, bilingual, comfortable, beautiful old world charm lobby, nice bar & breakfast area, clean, comfortable & spacious room, close to metro, and advance purchase was a good price. I would stay here again.
I had a very comfortable bed and I was able to relax in my room. The breakfast was very varied. The staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was a little dear in my opinion.
Easy walk to Atocha and to EMT airport shuttle for only 5 euro. But also quiet and just off the touristy area, so has a bit more of a local feel. Always English speaking staff member at desk. Stayed as single in small but suitable single room, and also stayed several days with family in very large "family sized" room. Suited wife, me, and two teenage boys just fine. Two large rooms and two individual mattresses fold out from sleeper sofa in second room. Everything in good repair, but decor a bit dated.
A room with more space and "class" than I expected for the price. Very comfortable bed. There was a fee charged to use wifi in the room, or the computer in the lobby.
Hotel muito bem localizado, excelente relação preço x qualidade! Recepcionistas muito atenciosos!
Very good location as we were travelling from Atocha Station, also near the galleries, comfortable rooms.
Nothing stands out Not really close to the places it said it was close to. A bit out of thw way. Outdated decor. Very noisy staff in the morning and very noisy in general.
Close to some tourist attractions
everyone was friendly and helpful rooms were clean
The hotel is well situated and equipped, the staff is very nice and helpful and the restaurant also offers very good meals for reasonable price. The room was very hot and heating/conditioning could not be regulated to have pleasant temperature at night. I would also prefer twin beds to a double (and unstable) bed since when any of us turned it was shaking the bed so much that the other person was immediately awoken.
everything as expected !
This is our second stay at this hotel, and I have to say, I don't understand the negative reviews! If we return to Madrid a third time, I would stay here again.
convenient to the train and other major transportatin, i.e. metro and major highways TVs very small and outdated
Great welcoming staff, spacious and comfortable rooms it is a bit far from the center of the city
Close to station, breakfast OK. Not really.
Nice clean hotel, good for a base if travelling around via Atocha, literally right next to the station. Basic but functional gym.
1) Room prices are illogical. We originally booked a double room according to what we understood were its size and features and upon arriving discovered that in reality it was a cubicle barely adequate to accomadate one person. We then changed rooms to a much better equiped junior suite with about triple the area of the former one but that only cost a fraction more per day. So, either the charge for the cubicle was excessive or the suite is a bargain (or we got lucky). 2) The hotel offers two types of Internet access: wireless and cable. The price of wireless is exhorbitant (as it seems to happen in Spain in general). There's no extra charge for cable access, but it is extremely slow.
good and quiet location the prices of the mini-bar are too high
Clean, good location to IFEMA visitors. Not enough staff, bad isolation between rooms
The personnel at the Front Desk were excellent. Welcoming, warm and patient. The buffet breakfast was sumptious. Excellent value for money I felt. The location at first as the hotel quite far from everything. But then on a curiosity trip to Torrejon de Ardoz (the nearest train station in the area), I was delighted by the lovely and reasonable yet modern shops, as well as the nice restaurants, the public square, the Semana procession and the quaint houses etc. I wanted to go back there again but alas, no time.
The facilities were excellent and my room was clean, spacious and well cared for in everyway. On the technical side the room was amazing, with a large flat screen TV showing a vast range of channels and a host of Films for a very reasonable €4.00 per day. Reception and Room Service could not have been better and the Airport Pick-up service was very good too. I would certainly recommend this hotel, but at the moment - without the food option - see below....... It was very difficult to find by car and its location was in the centre of a Business and Commercial Area, so the views were not good. I had booked with breakfast and because of the location I also opted for evening meals. this is where the hotel let itself down badly. There was only one member of staff on duty which was clearly not enough. Even so he disappeared for long stretches of time so that items ran out, and food under the warmer congealed almost beyond edibility. The Hotel Management need to thoroughly review this area if they are going to offer food, as this was the only area that was below 4 star level.
Room was clean enough and there was a wi-fi. bad restaurant (not even a restaurant only buffet), no good service, no good bar.
shuttle service to and from airport, very helpful! also free internet, comfy beds
We were totaly satisfied with this hotel. The staff was extraordinary kind, polite, flexible and helpful. The buffest breakfast was well prepared with wide variatons, the only thing what we missed some greens, tomatoes. The coffe was surprisingly fine, not so strong of course. The fruit juices werent flooded with tap water as in many places. The location is far from everithing but the public transport is working and the hotel is easily accessible by car. The restaurant next to the hotel is perfect and before the main lunch time nobody is there to smoke. The is black shell is the best ever we eaten. We have definitely nothing to complain. Good value for the money.
Good quality room Shuttle service a let down, some distance from airport, late arrival meant food a problem after 10.30
Breakfast is very good and the dinner buffet is fine too. Only the shower room need some adjustment because the water came out so easy.
Very comfortable and ideal for Madrid Airport. Transfer also very reliable.
The hotel was modern, clean and the staff was excellent.
Shuttle service,helpfull staff.
We toured Spain and stayed at 5 other hotels and hostels, and found this to be the best of them all. Providing the bufett was welcomed after a long day on the road
Excellent hotel at an excellent price. The van for the airport shuttle is small, so sign up early. New, nice and not expensive.
All very modern, friendly staff A little bit far from the airport, but they have a free airport shuttle service that is very good...
Freindly staff, great value, neat and clean.
Friendly staff, free shuttle was on timeboth ways, very clean, very quiet. The buffets were awful. Tasted like processed or out of a box food. Not worth what you are charging. I would return but I would not eat here.
Comfortable, clean, free shuttle, value for money.
We stayed in Avant Torrejon for one night during our long trip. The hotel is close to the airport but you can sleep well and rest, because you don't hear anything.
The staff was amazing, ever helpful, polite, friendly, all the way down to the baggage guys. It was a bit noisy because of the disco below, had a room higher up but it didn't have a view of the street so my mom had us change. Otherwise excellent choice!
Location Impersonal service. Having to have our room keys reactivated every, single time we left the hotel and never receiving an apology from the staff for this continual inconvenience
Very clean rooms and excellent access to metro and city facilities. Very hot rooms and even on 8th floor we could her the disco beneath hotel
Good location Think there should be a B & B rate too
good location very profesional staff
Very central, nice staff, and the rooms are clean, contemporary in design and functional. The lobby could use some more warmth and appeal.
convenient location, easy access from/to the airport, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast buffet
Clean, fairly spacious rooms, interesting design elements, friendly & helpful staff, good location. A bit expensive but perhaps typical for the area; the fitness room was not very functional, with several machines not working.
Cleanliness&location Superior rooms were not in my opinion the quality of a 4****hotel
Great location to Metro. Nice Size Bathroom.
This is a low price hotel with good standard. It's approx 10 minutes to walk to the subway. There are a bus stop just outside the hotel. The bus takes you to the subway in approx 4 minutes. There are new buses every 5-17 minutes (dependant on time of day). The hotel has thin walls, so you might want to bring earplugs in case you get a room close to loud persons.
We were happy to know that we could open the windows to let fresh air in. They provided plenty of shampoo and body wash. As soon as we walked in, we could smell that stale smoking smell. I initially thought we must have gotten a smoking room, but no, it just smells like that. We only needed a single bed and they gave us a room with 3 twin beds, my boyfriend and I ended up sleeping separate. The free wifi signal was extremely low that neither one of us could use it in the room. Definitely wasn't a memorable stay.
I did not stay really long as i was just overnighting and leaving early next day but I found hotel very good and once I will be back I will stay again.Service was good and room is very clean and comfortable.I recomend it to others.
Although somewhat noisy (front room in hotel) beds were very comfortable, breakfast was catered for all nationalities, parking under hotel and was very easy to park. There was no extractor fan in bathroom, and importantly, the front of house staff, doormen and reception staff were quite standoffish and in some cases surly.
the "pay" breakfast was great! wifi only available for purchase...all other hotels I stayed in while in Spain offered free wi-fi
the bed was 2 small ones beaten, that was inconvenient. we need queen or king size bed
buiding work going on in hotel found it very un safe
loved the wiev and the bath!
nice bathrooms it is in a out of the way area, and there are no real hotel amenitites for the price. he staff treated people like they were not important. Also, so many tour busses made the regular guests feel sidelined. There were wires hanging from the cielings and constant repairs, but they did not do anzthing to make people feel better about the "construction" atmosphere.
The room was cozy and tidy. Far from subway stations, but quite ok when know alternative connections or don't mind some walking.
The room was really clean and comfortable The location of the hotel wasn't so good and we had to walk for fifteen minutes to the metro station
Hotel Design, Room Furniture Most of staff don't speak English. We couldn't take any tours from the hotel. Most of TV channels are spanish.
The very helpful and friendly staff
everything that restaurant didnt open early in the morning
The staff at the hotel was not only friendly and out-going, but also went out of their way to provide us with information whenever asked. They provided accurate information with regard to bus travel into the City; they provided dining and other features with regard to our stay. The room was a bit too warm for us. We opened the window or turned on the air if it became too warm for our liking.
Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Very nice spread for breakfast. There is an accessible train but the walk to the train station is about 10-15mins. Cabs cost generally around €15 however the cab drivers add on to the amount sometimes by €6 additional. Free Wifi access was great even in the lobby for persons with wifi enabled divices. I would recommend to anyone wanting a modern friendly clean and cozy hotel. Loved the power shower very relaxing.
As good as you can get for that price. Excellent facilities. Room Service must be improved. I ordered a tea around 01 am, but they couldn't get me one because the hotel bar was already closed.
The staff was very friendly and the rooms very comfortable. The design and interior was very stylish. Great hotel. The location is a bit out of the way, but it was nice and quiet and very easy to get into town by metro (10 minute walk).
Free internet, nice room, very clean. A bit "hidden", the first taxi driver had a hard time finding it.
nice new hotel, normally good business hotel long queues at breakfast because of group-booked people eating at the same time - not very suitable as business hotel
The room was tight but comfortable and very stylish There should be a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel as it is far and complicated to get to. Also that shuttle service should be made available to guests to travel from hotel to nearest subway station which is substantially removed from the hotel.
Me ha gustado mucho el diseño y la habitación , no desayune así que no juzgo el desayuno. Pero la estancia a sido magnifica. Pilla un poco lejos del centro
The staff was really nice and helpful. The free shuttle to the Madrid International Airport is a bonus. This is not a negative comment. Travelers just have to be aware that the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and that there seems to be a very few restaurants around. There is a chinese restaurant just around the corner but I chose to eat at the hotel restaurant on the terrace. Service and food were really nice (Spanish menu). Did not have a chance to try the buffet breakfast (but it looked nice) as I needed to go to the airport early. I would have liked to just have a cup of coffee before the shuttle arrived but was told I could not... needed to eat for that... Maybe the restaurant management could consider selling just coffee at the counter to clients who are not interested/or choose not to eat a big breakfast in the morning.
Design and comfortabilty of the rooms and the place in general We asked for some ice cubes and, yes they gave us, but into a plastic bag, I guess they should be prepared for such eventualities and place ice cubes into a bowl
Nice hotel. Good location. Nearby airport and some nice bars for a late tapas. Girl at the front desk not realy friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean and realy comfi.
closeness to airport, price and comfort of beds ...modern amenities airport shuttle took one hour to come to get me and only after I called to get it to come to Terminal 1 -- shuttle bus not available until 7am in morning which was not suitable as I needed transport at 6am -- shared taxi with other guest which worked out well. Dining in-room astronomical and diningroom had poor selection and expensive prices. I arrived late and had few choices.
Room style Too cold temp. in the breakfast area and too hot in the rooms
Near to subway and airport They say it has a free shuttle to airport but it's not marked that it is only available certain fix hours. We had to take a taxi
Stayed here July, 14, 09. Great hotel, excellent buffet breakfast. Very high tech brand new hotel. Some reviews I'd read said it was "cold feeling" and noisy. I found neither to be the case. Slot of glass & chrome can seem a bit cold to some people but I enjoyed the modern design. It is obvious they spend a huge amount on the interior design. I really liked the hard wood floors in the room. A very clean feeling as compared to hotel carpet. The room was absolutely spotlessly clean. With all the glass the maids must have to work very hard to get it all spotless & streakless. The desk staff were very pleasant and helpful planning our short td in Madrid. Only complaint is the "free airport shuttle" only runs 7 to 11 am and 7 to 11 p The "free airport shuttle" only runs 7 - 11 am and 7-11 pm. That's not how the free shuttle is advertsed. We had to take a taxi upon arrival at 4:30 pm for acost of 27 Euros. But did get the free shuttle back to the airport the next day as it was within their time slot. You need to sing up for the shuttle ahead of time to make sure you get on it. About a 20 minute trip to the airport so if you are running tight and miss the shuttle itaynot be back for some time. Took several taxis to the hotel all had trouble finding it as it is off the beaten path . Had to use our cell phone to call the hotel so they could direct the drivers. Be sure to take their business card so you can give to the driver & call if necessary. But it is worth it
Spacious bright modern rooms that were very comfortable The transfers are not 24 hours as they claim, and the location is only suitable for business travellers or those that don't mind being out of town
The hotel restaurant is excellent and the staff is friendly even though not very helpful as expected The bed has four wheels which may slide while sleeping on it.
facilities are good shutall bus has limited time
The staff was friendly, helpful and most spoke at least some English. Very helpful in a foreign city. The hotel was just 2 blocks from the Metro. It was very modern and clean. Most signs, menus and notices were in both English and Spanish. The beds were more firm than I was used to and the pushed-together twin beds would separate creating a crack in the middle making it difficult to sleep close to my wife.
Hotel is well situated for shopping and the Retiro, very easy to get to by car, but see comments below. Despite assurances by phone that parking would be no problem, no space was available. A hotel of this size should have spaces, or at least access to public parking. Reception and lifts are overwhelmed at peak hours. I have stayed here often, but it's showing signs of a lack of care. Good hotel if the price is right.
Pretty average hotel My room was not ready upon arrival and had to wait whilst it was cleaned, staff generally not too friendly, the 'gym' facilities are a joke - the singular machine was broken, the restaurtant is expensive ... i could go on - my advice is dont stay at this hotel - very poor
Location, size of room The sauna was not working and the staff was not very apologetic about that. Our room was also not ready on time.
Hotel was very reasonably priced, convenient to two metro lines, room was confortable, staff were friendly Room was just a little too warm, however, I was able to open the window.
The staff, comfort and location were very good The poached eggs for breakfast were very poor. They were cooked, tasted of and presented in vinegar which soaked into the toast. My wife had to leave her full cooked breakfast as a result of this.
This hotel was great value.Staff were very helpful on places to eat and things to do.Its is 2mins from a metro station which you can get straight from the airport.
What I liked the most is how accessible to the metro it was. It was easy to get around Madrid and offered a quiet atmosphere which I very much appreciated. The staff was very friendly.
Clean room, good location and quiet. Good value.
Very pleaseant staff, very well equipped hotel, one of best I have had the pleasure to stay in for some time. Certainly to be reccomended nothing
Restaurant menu was a bit poor.
Freindly staff. Asked for a non-smoking room and they only had smoking available. Would have been nice to have known this before booking.
Staf very kind. Breakfast normally.
free mini bar, free wireless internet, very friendly and helpful staff, very affordable price shower was not designed to keep the bathroom cleaned, the hotel was not conveniently located, not as close to metro as described
very nice staff and good location thin wall
free internet access Too far from metro
Location near city centre, via car is ok, but public transport bit hard. location is nice and peaceful good to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city so you can enjoy both worlds.
No signboard to show direction to hotel from Metro Station (Suanes?).
quiet, comfortable room. great shower.
Good location at 20 min from the airport, room and breakfeast according to price. A good compromize
very helpful staff, reasonable rates on the weekend, quiet clean rooms, fridge in room. restraunt is waaaaay over priced, service was far below standards.
This is a great hotel. Front desk staff are professional, helpful and pleasant!!! We liked everything!!!
Very nice hotel. Very expensive breakfast. Close to airport but extremely difficult to navigate there by car. If you plan to drive in/around Madrid you need to use GPS always!!
Charge for wifi. Those days are over.
Nice room No free internet in rooms?? Expensive food
Clean, close, safe. comfortably, but not not cheap for what you're getting.
Close to airport. Free frequent shuttle to the airport. WiFi free to Hilton honor members only RESTRUANT menu for lunch and dinner was limited
Rooms are very nice
Free shuttle Food was EXPENSIVE and not that good. However the bartender was very nice and let me order something else after the paella was AWFUL!
Very nice room for the price. Facility needs an ATM.
Very clean and friendly staff. After a long trip, the bath was very inviting and relaxing. For a non smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke was most prevalent when the A/C was on..
Good to be so close to the airport, but there is absolutely nothing around it. We used it only between flights and it was a great value.
Close to Madrid Barajas Airport. Close drive to Madrid centre. Shopping mall nearby. There's no metro nearby.
modern rooms, free internet.
Friendly staff Location and poor wi-fi signal
Room was fantastic for the price we payed 17 euro for 2 han and cheese sandwiches with gone off bread and no suce thought it was a bit steap.
The hotel was very modern, had all the amenities we needed and was very clean The location was nt quite where I would have expected it to be.It seemed to be in ore of an industrial area.
Very business friendly hotel. Free quenching water and soda after a long flight was much appreciated. No real privacy in washroom. Doors are not made to close...more like a swing door.
Very contemporary rooms, comfortable beds. One of the nicest rooms we stayed in. Selected because it was close to airport. We arived after midnight and left at 7:00 a.m. so had no chance to use any amenities other than the room.
comfortable rooms, adequate food area surrounding is not very developed
good quality room, good services, Hotel in a somewhat isolated position..Food is average quality and I would recommend eating out.
Great hotel, but far from everything, in a middle of a industrial/commercial area. If you arrive late, it's difficult to find some food to grab.
Appealing Building, modern, internet free available, computers available. Slow checkin at late evening, Breakfast little bit disappointing, scrambled eggs 2 mornings cold, cold draught trough breakfastroom. Asking for the way to Centre Madrid, received poor and incomplete information resulting in unnessecary waste of time to get to the centre. No Madrid Maps
very clean and smart hotel the food in the dinner restaurant, was served steak and potatoes, overcooked and no vegetables or salad
Location: Near the airport (hotel provides free airport transfer and it takes around 15 min on a weekend's night), shopping mall at a 7 mins walk, quiet zone. Rooms: Confortable, clean and functional. Hotel: Free wireless in the rooms, free internet access zone (for those that do not carry any device), a wiizone if you want to chill out playing some console games, reasonable breakfast. The free transfer back to the airport was overbooked.
It was clean, calm ,and the facilities very correct. The transport to the aereoport very good idea. The restaurant
Only stayed here for a night in between flights and it offered everything we needed. Loved the free shuttle to and from airport. This saved us a lot of money not having to buy a taxi. Also, the room was a lot larger than expected and very clean and modern. It's not really close to anything other than the airport though, so don't book here if you're looking for a good vacation spot.
The location to the airport. Not easy to get to public transportation from hotel to downtown area.
The reception staff was resolutive but I think they were a little bit short of time to manage.
For a 1 day layover in Madrid, best of 5 hotels, many similar that I have experienced. Will book here again. Great internet.
Staff were very helpful and buffet breakfast was excellent No
Very moderm, clean and efficiant. Great staff, simple comfortable design. Close to a large shopping centre with food and supermarket facilities and a great airport shuttle service. Amazing showers. Nothing to complain about at all.
Nice modern hotel, well fitted out. It was very hard to get a taxi to take us to the hotel late at night as it wasn't a long enough fare for them. 2 taxis refused to take us.
Very clean and comfortable. Wide bed. Unfortunatelly the waterpool at the end of September was already closed.
The rooms were nice. The helpfulness of the staff.
near exhibition center
Practical location between airport and city centre. Close to Metro station. Poor sound proofing of room walls. Buffet breakfast too expensive. Breakfast in local cafes much better and close by.
friendly staff, excellent breakfast location, paid parking, no decent view
Very convenient transfer to the airport (by bus) and to the downtown (by metro) When we came there was no extra bed in our room however the desk staff knew that we reserved it. We had to ask for it. The air condition in our room was completelly out of control. It worked "full power" even we tried to tune it down or to turn it off, because the temperature became to low. The desk staff inform us that the only way to stop it is to switch off the fuse. We did is succesfully and this way we survived.
Reception staff were extremely helpful and gave good information. Excellent links with the Metro for the centre of Madrid. Good parking facility which is essential in Madrid.
Great staff, multi-lingual. Wouldn't change a thing.
very clean no
Convenient to airport but also in suburban area so local shopping/cafes available
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the service was five-star.
Very good hotel with helpful staff, I love the location. Internet very expensive, but cheap internet cafe is nearby, Private Parking also Expensive.
Very close to the Metro (station El Carmen, just behind the corner, no more than 50 meters from the entrance) Very nice staff Clean room with nice bathroom - we took double room: TV, safe deposit in the wall, air conditioning. Very quiet even though our window was facing busy Alcala street (thanks to doubled windows!)
It was away from the city but close enough that a taxi ride to the city centers cost only five euro The first floor rooms open into the street, so when it is hot and there is a need to open the window (no airconditioning), a traveller has to brave the criminality of Madrid. Keep in mind that the lower rooms open into street level.
close to metro, hotel restaurant is very good
Nice new hotel very close to the Metro station. Our room was silent and large.
It's clean, quite, helpful staff. The price is reasonable. 1) It is already old fashion, and this hotel is still doing it, to charge for WiFi service. The rest of the hotels we stayed during our Spain & Portugal trip (except the worse one in Barcelona) provided good quality free-of-charge WiFi access. Anyway, this was told on the website already, we know, but still would like to suggest the change to be made on this. 2) We were put to smoking room on a smoking floor, despite the reaffirmation in reptetition mode we made that we required non-smoking room on the non-smoking floor. The fact is this hotel does not have non-smoking room nor non-smoking floor.
Very good breakfast, very clean and large rooms, friendly staff.
The location of the hotel was very good as it was situated next to a metro station and it was easy to get anywhere in the city.
WiFi service was very expensive. Not convenient.
Quiet location, very near to IFEMA, Madrid Trade Show Very poor breakfast, smallest TV ever seen in a hotel.
helpful staff even on our late night arrival. clean and quite. location a little hard to find.
helpfulness of staff
Comfortable and well presented place. Easy to find with GPS but it may have been more difficult to find from a map. It would be helpful to have a map of the immediate area of where the shops and bars are if you are staying more than over night.
Room was very clean and quiet. Reception was polite and helpful. I purchased this room based on the fact that it had an airport shuttle and breakfast. When I arrived at hotel, I was advised that the shuttle starts running at 8 am. I had to leave for the airport by 7 am. I had to pay 12 euros for a 4 minute ride. Would be nice if the booking had given the shuttle hours. Also, breakfast doesn't start until 7:30 am, so I missed that, too. Rooms are very small. My knees hit the shower when I sat on the toilet and I'm not a big person. Food is a big issue. They do not have a restaurant and there are no places to eat down the street. I had to walk along the freeway and cross to the other side for dinner. Not something I like to do as a female traveler. Had air in the room, however, I could not control it. I would set it but there seemed to be a setting that turned what I set it at off. Needless to say, it was too warm in the room.
The staff should be more aware to tell directions to the airport, that is just nearby.
good modern room very expensive wifi ,and hotel airport bus. with these matters resolved good base for overnight flight connections
The rooms decor are nice and rooms are clean and in a residential area. Good buffet breakfast and best croissants I have ever had. Taxi fare from airport to hotel is 15 Euros. (surcharge included) Hotel is bit far to the city, a fair walk (15 mins) to the metro, hotel has provided everything for toiletries but no shower cap.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Really calm, neat, attractive, very good design, food delicious, stuff polite. Walking distance to the nearest metro station, not far from the Congress Center and the Barajas airport.
Worst thought air conditioning sistem. Shut the air above the bed and can not be directed to blow in another direction. You can not sleep with the air on , is very hot with no air. Parking is very small.
The price, the staff was very informative and a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel was too far for me for sightseeing and museums
close to the airport, free internet price/quality rooms were quite "worn out" restaurant was terrible shower did not work properly temp in the room was close to 30 °C and could only be modified from reception
Clean room, wi-fi free, close to the airport Shower doesn't working
Close to airport. Not near anything, in middle of residential area next to highway. Beds not to comfortable and mattresses had some sag. Stayed in family room. Restaurant does not serve dinner until 2030.
hotel was close to the airport, which is why I picked it. I have stayed in another hi tech hotel in Madrid (Petit Palace Posada del Peine) which was very good. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. The large letters "tech" on the roof did not light up, the bedside light didn't work properly and the shower had broken dials and the jets didn't work. Hardly "High Tech". The restaurant was booked by a group and we were told we would have to eat in the bar. Generally a lack of maintenance and care, maybe because most customers use the hotel as a stopover for the airport and only stay one night. Very very disappointing.
hotel needs renovation. e.g. carpets in the hallways... shower is innovatiive but difficult to use. took me several minutes to figure it oout..
Great rooms and free internet access, laptops in rooms, excercise bike too which is great and different, also a great shower, breakfast and an ipod dock..also free shuttle bus, oh and food in restaurant was delicious NA
Chose it for just one night because it´s close to the airport. Great service, within 5 minuters after call the shuttle to the hotell arrived to terminal. Nice staff, nice rooms and bathroom, free internet and wifi. Great breakfast buffe. Never had time to try pool and other facilites. ---
very clean, friendly staf and a good price, close to the feria
It's realy close to the airport making it suitable for an early morning flight... not much else to say.
