Outstanding food and excellent service.
Did not visit for the star restaurant, but was very happy with the bistro. Nice large room, good food, nice garden, friendly staff.
The sheer professionalism of the staff, and their very good insight into the sort of guests they had - at least in our case. They were engaging, funny and very good at their jobs. No
Ihave stayed there before and I enjoy it very much
The elaborate meal and incredible service were the best we have ever had! The hotel room was top quality and our stay in Vienne was brilliant!
Very spacious rooms with good beds. Availability of a good quality, very reasonably priced "second" restaurant on site to complement the two Michelin-starred main gourmet restaurant. Cheerful helpful staff. On-site free parking. Excellent free in-room WiFi service. Unexpected delay in their Laundry Service 2days instead of same day service as promised. No explanation or apology.
Rooms very french. Restaurant gourmet excellence, but expensive! If you want to walk back to your room, don't go for the discovery menu! Could not eat like that for a second night!
Good location Lousy spring bed, bad air fresherner
It's for short stops, near the main road. Handy. The price of the breakfast.
Close to highway.
Ideal if you need to go to Basel but don't want to pay 100+ CHF for the hotel. It's within 15 minutes drive from the city center.Although not advertised, they have free WiFi in the room. Breakfast is also relatively good (by french standards). Friendly receptionist, who speaks English. The idea to combine shower and toilet in a tiny room probably looked good on paper, but it's very inconvenient in real life.
We only had an overnight stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.Wi-fi Internet easy access.Plenty of shops within walking distance. Needs a bit of work but for the price was ok.
Room rate was low. The location is good: the hotel is very close to the motorway and is in the middle of big shopping area. The hotel staff was friendly and pretty flexible in their procedures. We staied in the room that would need renovation very soon: damaged TV remote control, one lamp did not work, wall painted not perfectly etc. Everything was functional, but was not maintained in a perfect condition, although you should not expect perfect condition from two star hotel with this low room rate.
Good bathroom; close to Sunday morning market. When checking in, I tried to speak French (I am fluently bilingual) and the clerk kept wanting to speak English (because I was from Canada!!) I found her attitude very unfriendly; hotel is not near any restaurants. This hotel was one of the closest to Firminy and the LeCorbusier church...pity nothing closer.
very good room service couldn't get the air con to work during the night
helpfulness of staff. Breakfast good.Location excellent.Room good value for money no
Very good staff, very helpful. The walls are very thin!
Grafitti on the walls upon entry. Walls very very thin and no sound proofing/privacy. Hair dryer dysfunctional. Rules and regulation do not permit the use of electrical appliances hence no razor or hair dryer.Check time 11:00 am. Rooms not ready for check in until after 2:30 pm. Overall a negative experience. Dingy
Staff werer helpful - \good breakfast. Building old and rooms very small cramped reception area. . Difficult to find/ difficult to leave on Market day outside..
Hotel is in a good location. Nice decor in the hall and rooms are okay. Shower gets flooded as curtain is too short.
Easy for car parking . Position related to Vienne itself an alternative to Lyon then Lyon Hotels are busy. The smell of wc in the bed room ( room n°18)
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to the hotel until about 11:00 PM, but there was no problem. Breakfast was marvelous!
Great position, very nice ambience, lovely breakfast room with pleasant outlook, perfect position
Position Size of room
Value for money Location The reception dealt with on check out. The final account was 10 euros over quoted price. The staff member on reception amended the account as per the quoted price but was unpleasant and initially swore when the error was pointed out.
Very little. Of all the places we stayed over a two week trip this was the most disappointing. It didn't live up to its description, was incredibly difficult to find and felt very run down and shabby. The chap on reception was largely detached and uninterested and when we - after a lateish arrival- wanted help in locating food was particularly unhelpful.
Nothing! The rooms was old dirty no internet connection only one towel tv had only 3 channels in one word : sad
Well located near Chateaucreux tgv rail station; fantastic restaurant at reasonable prices. None
very close to train station, nearby tram and bus stops
Friendly and helpful staff Rooms are basic, digital clock was faulty and flashed brightly all night
The room was spotless It was very tired and needs a bit of new decor
The favorable location 1. The elevator has pre-technologic revolution properties (malfunctionings). 2. For its price, the breakfast is rather poor.
Good rooms, nice service and atmosphere.Good breakfast was excellent value. The evening meal. Some of the buffet was not fresh and the main courses were poor quality and bad value.
This was an ideal over night stopping hotel on our way back through to the north from the south of France,
Staff were extremely helpful at all times The hotel bar closes at 11pm and there is nowhere else to get a drink at night once you have returned from the day out.it would be better if the bar stayed open until midnight/1am.
The Kyriad in Givors was clean, well-maintained with free parking in a secure area. It was close to downtown and easy to get to off the autoroute.
It was easily accessible from the motorway and a short train ride from Lyon The Bed was uncomfortable
staircase outside of building
The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. We especially enjoyed dinner and the wonderful breakfast the following morning.
Beautiful location by the river Rhône
friendly welcome , clean accomodation with river view. our "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke and there was an ashtray in the room.
Overall the accommodation at the hotel was excellent value for the money, & the engish speaking receptionist was very helpful when making enquiries.
Ambience peaceful, I was very disappointed no air conditiong in the room, when enquired for another room I was told there was only air condition on the third floor and would have to pay extra. I was put in a room which I belive, was not finished or was for staff to stay in.
The food was super ! Five star food and not overpriced. I liked the modern design of the rooms. I know that some of the other guests did not have air conditioning in the room. This is a standard in hot countries I would think. Also there was no information booklet in the room about the hotel or the locality.
The hotel was very old and dirty...needs renovation and was too pricey for the poor quality. I would not recommend it! the staff could not recommend a resataurant as she said she was not from the area???
Brilliant third floor room, overlooking the golf course, air-conditioned, modern and very attractive styling. Most interesting ceiling! Ate at the restaurant - superb food, and completely full.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean room with air-con, great food in the restaurant, private parking on site (beware, narrow entrance though!)
Right in the heart of Solaize, very helpful staff, clean and modern rooms with good car parking.
Conforatable and clear room. We had a excellent dinner.
WirelessInternet conection and convenient space in the room, higher then the france standard
Bedroom was lovely, very clean and large, with very large clean bathroom Very narrow entrance to car park a bit daunting!
Peaceful and quiet. Very cheerful and helpful staff Very hot in the rooms. Air-conditioning did not seem to be efficient
Friendly & competent staff. No
Very cosy atmosphere, friendly staff. The staff understood a little English, but did not speak that much.
Big parking outside the hotel + 2 levels of indoor parking inside. Room equipped with a kettle, like all other Kyriads. Feels like a buget hotel, not the kind of neighborhood you would walk around at night, problematic exit from indoor parking afterhours, tight access for luggage (old building).
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plus, the buffets (dinner as well as breakfast) are fantastic.
shower did not work
I like staff hotel very much - very polite, responsive. Hotel is 7 minutes to walk from the train station, what is very comfortable if you need to live for Lyon, for example. All trams are going trough the train station and if you are lost in the town you could always take T1 or T2 and they deliver you to the point you know well.
Very near to train station and also to the parc expo. Restaurant and breakfast good price/quality. They changed a little bit breakfast time for a big group. Access to the free parking (secure) directly with a lift. All service people of the hotel very nice. Nice welcome first breakfast with very tasty cookies :) Free WIFI Only one lift in this hotel is a bit poor, in the morning was really hard to get lift, anyways stairs not so hard. Bathroom didn't smell good, probably not thing of lack of cleaning and not in all rooms as far as i know. 2nd down floor of parking is a bit difficult to access with a long car.
Very helpful staff, restaurant is simple but good price/quality level.
The superior room was very nice and completely renewed. The price 89E was worth it. The breakfast is very expensive 8.5E, and there was not much choice, but since is an extra, I would not suggest it.
Dated 1960's building, lobby and bar need make-over, breakfast basic. However, room very good, Toilet in seperate "cupboard" to bathroom - tiny
big and clean room, free internet, free parking and nice staff
very good well furnished room Disappointed we were not informed the restaurant would not be open on the day we were staying, we had to drive to nearest town to get something to eat.
Decent food and pleasant staff
The rooms were spacious, well done and clean. The bathroom was big and clean. The man who ran the Hotel was extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable, taking care of us at the restaurant as well. The restaurant was excellent as well.
big and clean room, nice staff, restaurant for a good value, free parking, free wi-fi and good breakfast
big and clean room, nice staff, free wifi and parking
helpful staff, big and clean room, free internet connection, free parking, cheaper and good restaurant. Quality/Price is fantastic it's seems the location of the movie "From Dusk Till Dawn" directed by Quentin Tarantino...
A 'stop-over' hotel with basic but acceptable rooms. Need detailed driving instructions to find. Good value for money. The restaurant was disppointing with a lot more expeted from the Booking site
the room was spacious and clean, wifi from room and parking are also ok. The stuff was very kind and helpful to arrive lately. Hard to find, located at the crossway, there is no a concrete street address. The breakfast is small.
Free secure parking, very clean and comfortable room, free WiFi, very good value for money. Ideal when you are travelling and dont want to enter crowded city. Slow internet connection, only sweet food for breakfast
It was our halfway stop en route to Nice and did exactly what it said on the tin.
Good price, good staff, good internet connection The room wasn't so clean as i wished, the hotel is far from the town center
Secured parking, automated access, breakfast
It was quiet and clean place.
Grand hotel for what it was worth, it was simply a stop gap. The room had a funny smell, other than that it was ok
The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, our room was clean and the bathroom was in good working condition with plenty of hot water. It's a good, inexpensive, no frills budget hotel for travellers.
No full time reception therefore self check in or wait until reception openned
Quiet. Clean. Convenient (on motorway). Good dinner and breakfast
The location was ideal for a trip into St Etinne. The choice of dinner could be improved, more healthy choice, the beer could be cheaper a little over prices.
good service, English speaking, good extended breakfast, room + bathroom ok, good for stayover on the way to Spain, also with kids
Very convenient for an overnight stop, just off the Autoroute. Staff friendly.
Campanile Hotels are basic but clean and staff are always friendly. Don't change the format, it is perfect for a value for money stop over. Nothing to change. If I was being really pedantic, a few more parking spaces would be handy. I arrived late and had to park on a disabled space.
Good stopover hotel when you're traveling to (or from) the South. Much better quality then other stopover hotels then Formule1 or Etap. Good breakfast buffet. Although there's no own restaurant in the hotel to have dinner, you can order some meals (pizza, pasta, salads, ...) which is being delivered within 30 mins. The meal can then be eaten in the breakfast area, on the terrace or in your room.
super friendly and helpful manager
Very pleasant and helpful staff. The whole establishment was very clean and tidy. Nice size room. Ideal stopping off point for those on a touring holiday. Whilst not a minus point of the hotel most of the local restaurants close at 7.30ish but if you travel a bit further afield there is more choice.
The kindness en helpfullness of the staff.Clean room.
The staff were very helpful
Friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. There is not a restaurant at the hotel, but there were arrangements with an excellent restaurant in the area. The breakfast could have been better.
Nice hotel, very good value. Free WiFi and free parking. Served our needs as an overnight stop between the south of France and Burgundy without getting tied up in a large city.
the rooms were big enough for 4 persons and very clean
The hotel was easy to find, very well presented and the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in a rear room and had an extra bed added to fit 4 of us as the front rooms faced a busy road. Our room was very quiet. There really was nothing much to see here. We needed a place to stay on our way to the coast. There is no lift but the manager kindly carried our bags up.
Great value breakfast & fantastic host in the owner. Very clean. Nothing
