This is the third time we have tried to stay at this hotel. They have rooms big enough for us and the three young children. For the second time the pull out bed was broken and missing bedding. For the third time the pool was not open (under Repair).
Nice clean hotel close to town and decently priced.
If I were in a larger city, I would be quite disappointed with this hotel, but for a small town it is pretty nice. The pool had lots of floating debris in it and the free breakfast had a pretty small selection. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the staff was pleasant enough. If it hadn't of been full, I would have stayed at the Hampton Inn for the same money and a lot nicer room and bed!
I have stayed here for both family functions and for business, and I have never been disappointed - both the rooms and the service are an excellent value.\n\nEven though I haven't been to Riverton for a few months, when I read the reviews here I thought I should speak up. I also had the occasion of finding sheets that looked slept in. It was 11 o'clock at night and the manager on duty got the sheets and brought them to the room herself. She made sure I was comfortable before she left the room. The staff has always been accomodatiing in every way - from helping with soap for the laundry to giving directions to late-night requests for forgotten items and quick service checking in and out.\n\nThis year the hotel has added feather pillows - FIVE of them. This really helps for those of us with neck/back problems.\n\nThe rooms are always clean, and I am picky about cleanliness.\n\nThe fridge and microwave combination is very helpful for business travelers who want to watch their diet.
I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN, MY ROOM WAS FILTHY. THE SHEETS WERE NOT CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS GUEST, I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK TO GET A NEW ROOM OR MY SHEETS CHANGED ,SOME TOWELS, AND SOAP. THEY WOULD NOT SERVICE THE ROOM FOR ME BECAUSE THE HOUSEKEEPING HAD LEFT FOR THE DAY, THEY SAID THAT THEY COULDN'T CHANGE OR REFUND. THEY SAID I SHOULD HAVE ASKED TO SEE THE ROOM BEFORE CHECKING IN. I CANT BELEIVE THE SERVICE WAS SO BAD.
Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was clean and new. The housekeeping staff were taking up seats (about 30 minutes before it was over) in the b-fast area so not all guest could enjoy the wonderful food that was served. The food was great even though we had to eat it standing up and it was served until 10 am. Easy to find, close to Wal&KMart.
This is truly one of the better hotels I've stayed in - best in Riverton. Cost, compared to the other area hotels, is a bargain. Breakfast buffet in excellent; includes fresh fruit and excellent coffee.
