10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding breakfast in enviable location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming owner and beautiful property. Gave us a welcome drink of champagne
6.7 Good
Pros: N/A AS TOO EXPENSIVE
Cons: PAID MORE VIA INTERNET THAN WOULD HAVE DONE BOOKING DIRECTLY
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beautiful location and stunning property. We loved the self contained apartment we stayed in with our 7 year old twins. It had ample space and we wish we could have stayed longer.
Cons: We loved the restaurant, but probably should have declined dinner there with our children as it was a very long meal for them. Although the restaurant were good at preparing a special main course for the children and a special dessert, the courses that we were served as adults took more than four hours to prepare, serve and eat. This was simply to long for our children who had travelled all day. The food though was wonderful and the staff very attentive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was spectacularly good and the experience of dining in the kitchen really made it that much more special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was huge and provided us with a very homely feel, the furniture and fittings were avery eclectic mix and suited the nature of the property. The beds were so comfy and the surrounding area on the seine was fantastic for walking. Above all we treated ourselves to the menu and were blown away by the very unique and exceptional quality of the ingredients. Dining in whilst staying here is a must if you like good champagne, wine and very exquisite food.
Cons: Our dog, didn't like the cats....but we thought they were lovely.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were lovely. We had cycled from Rouen and arrived earlier than planned. Jeannine welcomed us and showed us to our room. My friend had fallen off her bike and Jeannine and Michel were so helpful and caring. We continued onto Le Havre the following day. Great location and a lovely stay. Would highly recommend for a stop over for cycling along the Seine.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jeanette was super welcoming, the room was very comforting and she made us an incredible breakfast of fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs and pastries.

Pros: Very friendly hosts who worked hard to make us welcome. Breakfast was very enjoyable and almost limitless! Good selection of restaurants and food types within 10 minutes walk
Cons: No hot (only lukewarm) water before bed and for morning showers.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the friendly host .she explained about places to eat and gave us free maps. Also loved the rustic ness of it with the chickens pecking around the grounds .The big shower was hot and powerful.
Cons: Having English breakfast tea bags in the room .The host offered some loose tea but a bit of a phaff.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The couple who ran it.
Cons: The dirty untidy office entrance. The weird poor quality breakfast, disappointing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality and friendliness of Jeannine and Michel. The exquisite breakfast.
Entre Seine et Jardin - Arelaune-en-Seine - Building
3
8.6 Excellent (28 reviews)
7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Inability to communicate with owner who was out when we arrived but did not contact us to say where she was and that she was unavoidably detained. We were seriously concerned that we would have nowhere to stay that night. She does not answer her phone or respond to messages quickly. We had to leave without the breakfast we’d paid for because we could not get a response to our message informing her that we were going to have to leave earlier than planned. Internet didn’t work.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant host; clean;nice 'annex' to bedroom - kitchen/diner
Cons: Contacting host for 'check-in' was a bit complicated Pillows were rather uncomfortable!
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: My room was occupied by someone else on arrival. No room heating during the night, I couldn't sleep much because the room was too cold.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good value for money!
Cons: Decor in room 25 was awful.
6.3 Good
Pros: Perfectly adequate for a one night stay on route to the port
Cons: It was cold and could not get heating to work
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is very good and the rooms are a decent size.
Cons: The breakfast was poor. We paid extra for breakfast but when we arrived the previous guests had eaten virtually everything, the coffee was almost empty and we had to search cupboards for clean plates erc
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic host who cooked us dinner because we were on bicycles. Really nice feel. Great attention to detail.
Cons: Very small bed with sheets and blankets. Bathroom was quite small
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Ours was an overnight stop to break a journey and as such the friendly staff, adequate parking were very much appreciated. Some may not think the rooms big enough, but they were for our needs. Being weary from our journey, we felt that in house dinner the early bed paramount and this is where (from our point of view) a slight choice in the menu, would have helped, but we do understand why the set meal is the thing. We were just nut awake enough to enjoy fully.
Cons: Nothing other than dinner from our need on the day.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - directly across the road from the river and a great children’s playground nearby. Good size room and bathroom with a huge bath, comfortable beds. Very good value. Really good option for families.
6.7 Good
Pros: the bed was comfy, the location was good. The staff was friendly. The overall experience was satisfactory for a 2 star hotel. A good solution for a short stay.
Cons: Condition of furniture, sense of dirt, lack of hairdryer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel on the bank of the Seine Quiet great views
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and good food
Cons: Parts of the hotel a little shabby
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: It's amazing that such hotels still exist, let alone stay in business. Disgusting, stained carpets throughout, scuffed, chipped furniture, negligible heating (on a cold night), the bathroom heated towel rail actually disabled, black mould round the bath ... and a few nights before I had stayed in an impeccable luxury hotel for the same price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was plentiful and of very acceptable quality. The location of the hotel, on the bank of the Seine, is excellent, and, although on the main road through the town, there was no disturbance from traffic.
Cons: One or two parts of the hotel were beginning to look a bit shabby; a little freshening would help.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff, and the pre-arrival communication (by email) with them were outstanding, and they deserve special congratulation! Check-in and check-out was a breeze! We only saw 2 members of staff during our short stay - the young lady receptionist/waitress and the other waiter/young man - who seemed to be run off their feet! (Hardly surprising since the restaurant was obviously popular with the locals, and they were hosting what appeared to be a very large family birthday party or anniversary.) Nevertheless, we noted that neither we nor the other guests were left unattended! And the location on the banks of the Seine was superb! [What little we saw of Caudebec-en-Caux was attractive, but unfortunately our tight schedule didn’t allow us the time for any sight-seeing.]
Cons: Although there was a very large selection of menus, we were most disappointed with the evening meal - nothing like the quality of cuisine we are used to in France. The continental breakfast was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. We were most disappointed to find that there were no coffee-making facilities in the bedroom: we’ve never had that experience in all of our numerous travels in France. One of the bedside lights didn’t work, and the carpet in the corridor outside our room was practically threadbare, and had what seemed to be a large bleach stain. There didn’t seem to be a lift/elevator, but since we were on the 1st floor we were not affected.
7.9 Good
Pros: We liked the view over the Seine and the parking directly outside the front door. The patron was very pleasant and welcoming.
Cons: Our bedroom, though clean and the bed comfortable, was rather "tired". It needed some modernisation and re-decoration.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location and the views across the river.
Cons: Corridor dim blue lighting.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Staff were brilliant and the location was excellent.
Cons: The room was a little tired and no shower curtain.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: In the corridors, the lighting was poor
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: We actually upgraded to a 'superior' room - heaven only knows what the 'normal' room was like. This is a truly awful, dated, uncomfortable and badly equipped place. For over £100 I would expect the equivalent of at least a good Campanile. This was nowhere near. Fawlty towers french style.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, Value for money, Very nice staff
Cons: Would require a proper renovation, parking is advertised but hard to locate as on a Friday post 6PM there was no one at reception ended up parking on the street
6.3 Good
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Property needs some Renovation
7.1 Good
Pros: Don't think we have ever come across such a split rating hotel with some incredible highs and some very poor lows. So on the good side: Incredible location - promised a view of the Seine - and we certainly had that in spades. We appeared to have the largest balcony overlooking the Seine with an incredible view to see the passing monster ships. Restaurant was also one of the highs for the evening meal (breakfast OK too). And not too difficult to grab a parking spot right outside the hotel which did need to be cleared by 10:30 next morning or move your car a bit down the road out of the disc zone. Incredible walks along the Seine and view of the wonderful suspension bridge a km upstream.
Cons: Restaurant had recently been nicely re-decorated and is exempt from following comments. The rest of the hotel appeared to have seen far better times. One got the impression that a hard-working enterprising couple had taken over this large and run-down and tired hotel and were giving a really good go at restoring it. But they ain't got there yet. The corridors were dingy and dark with dubious carpeting. Our room whilst clean had very tired decor & the bathroom whilst clean needed a total make-over and was frankly unacceptable in a hotel of this class.
