Featuring extensive lands with 2 pools, Etna Quota Mille is at an altitude of 960 metres in the Etna National Park. This country house selling local wine, oil and grapes, is 3 km from Randazzo. The Quota Mille’s restaurant specialises in Sicilian dishes prepared with local organic produce. Breakfast features cold cuts, cheese and eggs, accompanied by homemade doughnuts. Rooms have refined rustic design, a private entrance and face the pool, garden or countryside. Each is en suite, and includes air conditioning, a minibar and flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi throughout is free. On request, expert local guides will pick you up outside the property, where a trail to Mount Etna’s slopes start. Catania Airport is an hour drive away.
Pros: All was perfect. The staff was very welcoming and nice. They gave us very warm welcome. The location was great for different site seeing and attractions. The room and the pool was super clean and well maintained and the breakfast was delicious. We only regards for not staying longer
Pros: The property is just beautiful - every detail in the restaurants, pool area and parking/gardens is just gorgeous. It is relaxing, calming and the restaurant serves incredible food with an awesome wine list at very good prices ( I work in the wine industry so this is a big deal for me ) The property in 10 mins drive from Randazzo - a pretty town with nice food options, and most importantly for me close to many wineries - 5 minutes to Planeta! Staff all very friendly.
Cons: The restaurant is only open at set times and there are moments where you can not even buy any water/snack - Before 8am, 10am -1pm and 7pm-8pm ( So it's not horrendous - but I think you should be able to buy water during waking hours ) There is no bar, which would have been amazing considering the gorgeous views and settings - but again its not a dealbreaker - just go for downtime and a chilled-out trip and you will be very happy.
Pros: This place is lovely, Not many rooms so nice and quiet in a beautiful rural setting with views of Mt Etna. We had a junior suite which was very nice but be aware that the double bed is upstairs on a Mezzanine level so you need to go down for the bathroom. There is a nice pool but we were there late in the day so didn’t use it. The most amazing part was the restaurant for dinner, a lovely room and the food was fantastic and excellent value, the best we had in Sciliy - don’t miss it. Breakfast was standard fair, nothing to get excited about but ok! It takes about 35 mins to drive to the Etna Nord base, Piano Provenzal, where we were able to hike, without a guide for several hours, including going around two of the lower craters - a great day.
Pros: Breakfast was good
Pros: The hotel has great views of Mount Etna. You can watch the steam rise continuously Hardened lava that was left behind by the lava flow of 1983 covers an expansive portion of the land around the area The hotel has repurposed it for the foundations and roads. A very thought provoking and calm area to spend a couple of days
Pros: This was a great place to start our holiday, as it is very peaceful and quiet.
Pros: Gorgeous! Stunning environment and Etna views.
Cons: Pool was ice-cream headache cold.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Pros: It was a lovely stay at L'Arco dei Sogni, run by Roseangela and her brother, who are very helpful, friendly and made us feel at home. The hotel is located in a quiet area where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Etna. The Bed and Breakfast is brand new, very clean and comfortable. Parking is not a problem as you can easily find a parking very close. Breakfast was divine! In the evening, one can easily enjoy a drink at the piazza close by. Highly recommended A+++
Pros: Lovely breakfast and great hospitality.
Pros: By far this was the BEST stay we have ever had in Sicily! L’ Arco Dei Sogni is a very small family run business located in Malvagna. The house is very well kept, modern, spacious and super clean! It has stunning views too. The food was divine! Words cannot describe how exceptional, tasty and delicious it was. Food is prepared upon request by Rosangela. Everything is home made with local genuine products. If you visit L’Arco dei Sogni you must definetly eat at least once there. We ended up dining every evening there to try as many different dishes as we could. We will surley miss your cooking and the cooking tips Rosangela xxx
Pros: Room was spacious and very clean; beautiful balcony overlooking Etna and the town. Hosts (Luigi and Rosangela) were very kind and welcoming; wonderful food and wine for dinner. There are many options of where to stay when exploring Etna- by staying here, we were able to take in a genuine experience of a Sicilian town.
Cons: Our GPS took us on a direct route to L'Arco Dei Sogni (straight up!). Follow the main road- though it is longer, it will take you right there.
Pros: This bed and breakfast is absolutely perfect. A wonderful breakfast and lunch was prepared for us that was truly magnificent. We had plenty of room for 9 people and an amazing stay. The host is friendly and professional. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: There is not one thing about this place that isn’t perfect!
Pros: The staff, definitely. Both Luigi and Rosangela were extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are fully renovated. I cannot think of a better place if you want to visit the Etna area.
Pros: Really sympatic owners. Nice and calm town with spectacular view of Etna. Good starting point for exursions. Very very good homemade food!! We would like to visit this beautiful place again!
Pros: Where to start... the host and his sister were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The cooked dinner for us and provided an excellent breakfast. The food was homemade, fresh and abundant. The property itself has been fully renovated and the rooms are very spacious. Our room even had a massage chair in a separate room, quite relaxing. Everything is spotlessly cleaned and the owner provided lots of info about the region. We went for a lovely walk in the natural reserve that starts at the end of the village. The location is near to many things and offers a great view on the Etna.
Cons: The village itself is quite small and only has 1 bar on the main square and no other restaurants. Not a problem, but just something to keep in mind.
With a stay at Borgo San Nicolao in Randazzo, you'll be 6.4 mi (10.3 km) from Il Picciolo Golf Club and 12.5 mi (20.2 km) from Gole Alcantara Botanical and Geological Park. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out. This farm stay has 2 meeting rooms available for events. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Franco, Denise and all their family were very helpful and did their best to make us feel at home, also giving us suggestions about where to visit. The room was spacious, clean and towels changed daily. The location is ideal for people who want to spend some quiet time. The farm animals contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast homely with genuine products...ham, cheese, eggs, bread, jams and fruit and croissants.
Pros: I love that this is a working farm, with vineyards, gardens, and farm animals. It would be a great place to take kids to see and experience a real farm. There's a restaurant on site, and a field for guests to use for games.
Cons: We had a hard time finding it through google maps, as it directed us to a road that does not actually connect to the farm because there's a locked gate. Make sure that before you turn off the main road you see the sign for the place; if not you're probably taking the wrong road. It's helpful if you know some Italian. The bathroom fixtures are rather cheap; in their current state they're functional, but are not made to last. This probably reflects that preparing the several small outbuildings to accommodate guests was probably a significant investment for the owners, so corners had to be cut somewhere. There's clutter around the property consistent with this being a working farm, not a resort.
Pros: The property was a little tired externally but internally very spacious with all expected facilities and beautiful views of the countryside ,Etna and vineyards. Franco was a delightful host, meals so generous and fantastic value for money. When we left we drove south around Etna and didn’t feel anywhere bettered the area we stayed. It was an excellent location for northern access to Etna and the Nebrodie hills where we enjoyed fantastic walking.
Cons: Some simple external painting would benefit first impressions but overall a great venue and host
Pros: Its a farm. Lots of nature, animals, was great to see horses ! Staff were friendly!
Cons: Its really out of nowhere and we were really lost! GPS dosen't help as its not indicated in it. Finally had some help from some local police who led the way!!! Read about guests comments about the cuisine and how great it was...??? We had dinner but was really mediocre... Could understand that there were not much of a choice. Taste of the main, which was lamb cutlets, had not much of a taste and it tasted more burnt than bbq !!! B'fast , nothing fresh , bread , jam!!! In the end we just had coffee. Value for money ??? Nothing interesting in the vicinity. Not advised unless, you have to pass there for a night to go to the next town. Staff
Pros: The entrance is scary with lights
Cons: Morning view
Pros: Great local food. Beautiful view of Mt Etna.
Cons: For low season visits: be sure to plan and make reservations for visits to nearby wineries in advance.
Pros: This is a good place to stay. You will enjoy the dinners and breakfasts.
Cons: The road is a little difficult to drive but you can do it.
Pros: It's a must to visit, Location was amazing, and the owner is a true gentlemen. I recommend to have dinner offer as the owner will personally take care to make you taste a bit of everything and the food is simply delicious. As well you will be greeted by Charlie an adorable dog very friendly with clients.

Cons: To far from the highw6
Pros: All was perfect
Cons: All was good
Pros: Staff are all related to each other meaning it is a family run business, they are all extremely helpful, and satisfied any of our requirements. premises very clean and taken care for, food cooked and prepared all in a traditional way. they even let us park our motors under a shed.
Pros: We have been received with great warmth. Marcello and his family went out of their way to make our stay truly exceptional. They gave us great tips about what to do in the area and even provided us with a pick-up-service for a festival we otherwise could not have reached. The breakfast in the bar right next to the B&B offers a great variety of typicial Sicilian treats from of which we could choose whatever we wanted. In the end Marcello even gave us a ride to the train station in the next town and gave us a little sightseeing-tour along the way.

Pros: Good location near town. Very large bed!

Pros: Central location near to the town center easily to walk to in few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff. A familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Very Clean and tidy rooms.
Pros: Parking was easy. Dinner was very good.
Cons: Room was cold (outside temperature was cold!) Got heater going after three hours. (switches in reception). Had to ask for heating the second night as well. It was warm enough once the heating was enabled. Croissants which were available at first breakfast were missing at second breakfast. Otherwise the food was good and reasonable.
Pros: The food and service at the restaurant was very good.
Cons: The breakfast was poor.
Pros: Easy to find. A good stepping off place for our trip around Etna. Great local food.
Pros: Staff was very helpful
Pros: Family owned and run. Very nice people. Location was also fantastic!

Pros: Good size exceptional clean...great breakfast...fantastic owners highly recommend
Pros: Mariella was a very gracious hostess. Provided us with excellent recommendations for the activities we were interested in. Breakfast was a wonderful spread featuring local delicacies. Accommodations were well appointed and comfortable.
Cons: Everything was wonderful!
Pros: Breakfast was at a nearby cafe and it was satisfactory. The bed & breakfast is in a central location and the owner recommended a very good restaurant close by.
Pros: The accommodation is by reference to its price good, the rooms are spacious and clean
Cons: I was on the top floor and the private bathroom was across the corridor. Also there was no hot water or heating in the bathroom and it was very cold in January.

Pros: Locationa and breakfast
Cons: Restaurant wasn’t available on most occasions
Pros: You will struggle to find a better view of mount Etna anywhere in Sicily plus the pizza restaurant was absolutely lovely serving the best pizza we had during our stay in Sicily , the cook was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely little village a few miles away to explore with more great views of Etna
Cons: Balcony was very small with only one chair, the fridge in the room didn’t work and the pool had loud rap style music playing constantly but that seems the norm in Italy, very isolated but loads of gorgeous places to visit nearby.
Pros: Amazing view, nice restaurant with good pizza, good facilities (swimming pool, spa, free parking)
Pros: Lovely view
Cons: Restaurant not open on 2 of 3 nights and not even hot water to make cup of tea available on 1 night. We were in 2 rooms and fridge did not work in either room.
Pros: Loved view and atmosphere. Booked Etna view
Cons: Shower small towels not changed daily. Every three days.
Pros: Size pf room , balcony and furnishing style
Cons: Shower and no spare toilet paper. Breakfàst was allcpmmercial and unhealthy mainly. We only had fruit twice.
Pros: Nice, place with nice view
Cons: They have no idea of what mean Hospitality. The staff was made up of two girls who covered all the roles from clean the rooms to serve breakfast lunch and dinner, the owner not at all welcoming. In booking there is a list of activities but they are not true, we asked for horse riding and they say to don’t do this service, I didn’t see table tennis needer. There is a nice spa, we ask to the owner how it works with who we should book to use it and to do massages but nobody knew how to indicate it and at the end we didn't even use it. In the pool there was always loud disco disco music, nothing relaxing. We stayed there two nights with my boyfriend to relax but the bed was so uncomfortable with the spring mattress that we returned more tired than before.
Pros: Not a whole lot the experience was horrible.
Cons: Well I normally keep my negative comments to myself but this place was very unprofessional. I would never stay here again. First check in was for 3pm. I did not get a room till 4:30pm check in was not completed till 7:30 pm. Plus the owner also charged me 4 euro for 1 litre bottle of water. There was no working wifi should I go on. O
Pros: The views of Mt Etna were absolutely breathtaking!
Cons: WiFi did not work. We arrived while a huge private party was going on and it was very difficult to get anyone’s attention. They gave us a key, showed us to our room, but is was 3 hours before we could ask any questions about dinner etc. They were incredibly kind and generous at dinner and this made up for several stressful hours that afternoon.
Pros: Great view, very good food, helpful staff. Very nice quite location. The pool area with bar and a beautiful view is perfect to relax.

Pros: The host, Gaetano, was so nice to contact me beforehand via whatsapp. Since he was not there to hand out the keys, he arranged a missing hair dryer quickly. The room was clean and functional. Still, the cooperating barman who handed out the keys was quite intrusive and approached me too closely when asking for the WiFi password. I would not recommend women to stay there alone. The breakfast included 1 pastry and 1 drink. Upon request, the waiter was so kind to give me one more. Nevertheless, a weak service for 50€.
Cons: The personnel from the bar The breakfast The price Out of package: there is no restaurant in the village for those without car
