Hotel was generally very clean and staff were very helpful Parking facilities were not 'onsite' and subject to frequent unavailability.
The hotel has a wonderful location across from the chateau and tourist information in a very quaint town and building. This is the cleanest hotel I have ever seen, the air is incredibly fresh and the rooms spotless! Wonderful breakfast too!
Great place, fantatstic location right at the Chateaux
the position of the hotel was excellent. Lovely rooms, good service.
A great hotel in a lovely town, a nice relaxing experience.we will come again
Spacious well appointed warm spotlessly clean Nothing
The location, the staff, the hotel ambience No porter available for luggage to room, parking arrangements, no english tv other than bbc world
Clean room, English speaking receptionist, staff generally polite and helpful No restaurant and only a very limited menu. Wine not served by the bottle with the meal, we were forced to buy it by the glass, very expensive.
The location is perfect to visit the wonderful castle (it's just across the street) and also to go shopping or eating. It was silent, clean, comfortable, with a nice mini-bar and coffee/tea set. We chose the hotel to stay for one night and continue our trip, but we found it so nice that we decided to stay one more night. The staff was also very kind to allow us to have our bikes in their depots (so we could feel safer by not leaving them attached to our car). There is a public parking just in front, but also there are more parkings all around the area (we had no problems since we stayed during the weekend, but it seems that Tuesdays and Fridays it's forbidden to park because of the street market)
The room was spacious and the decoration was stylish and refined; the kettle, tea and coffee were most welcome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a quiet, restful weekend with long walks in the park of the chateau. everything was fine!
Room was a good size and very clean. Bathroom was excellent. Food and service in the restaurant were a real let down.
Better facilities than many in the immediate vicinity, good, value for money, restaurant, friendly helpful staff Poor English language TV!
Nice, spacious room. Very noisy party going on downstairs.
The room was very clean with excellent bathroom facilities, and the beds very comfortable with quality bed linen. very limited for food on the evening we stayed. But breakfast did make up for that, although a little bit too expensive.
Spacious room and bed. Crisp and clean linen. Helpful and professional staff. Excellent value. Quiet location.
Reasonable proximity to Versailles Small room for 3 people
Hotel very clean and quiet. Hotel staff nice
Good Value for money, close to supermarket
Close to Versaille and Paris
very quiet hotel in the country near von Versailles or Paris with the high way
Clean and good after hours service. The toilet extraction fan does not seem to work very well.
Convenient for visiting Paris and Versailles Although it was relatively out of the way, it was not quiet during the night as it's in the middle of an industrial estate. Also a coach party arrived around 11:30pm and the coach sat with its engine running for about 20minutes. The shower didn't work as the pipe was full of holes.
With the smoking ban now extended to France the opening onto the hotel grounds was a boon. In the bathroom the shower head was fitted about 2 metres off the bath floor. Ok for people of restricted growth but not very appropriate for average height people.
The room and bath were clean and in nice condition. The hotel has free wireless internet, which we find very useful. We arrived at the hotel about 17:00, on July 13th. The door was locked, and there was no one at the reception desk. A page on the door showed our name, as a new arrival, and indicated the room number where we would be staying, but we could not enter through the locked door. A message said to call the hotel phone number, but we had no phone to call from. Another hotel guest eventually let us in, and told us the combination to the electronic lock on the hotel door. Our key was in the door to our room. The next morning, a receptionist was at the hotel desk.
You can walk to the famous all-france-open golf course. Some staffs are not kind. Hard to find the hotel.
Quiet and accessible
Well located for travellers from Calais to the South of France. Quiet location The pillows were absolutely appalling - like light marshmallow - and that made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The restaurant and bar personnel had the classic Parisian indifference to good service, which should have been trained out of them.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Room service dinner ordered 9pm took 1h40 to arrive. As some consolation, they removed any charge for this without question.
Room very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn't like the staff who were somewhat indifferent to us and other guests. Staff could do with improving on their customer skills.
the staff was very helpfull. The accomodation was ok.
Helpfull, English speaking staff, excellent facilities, very clean No English tv channels
Golf and tennis courts, swimming pool. Close to Versales and miniature France park. Free wi-fi. Breakfast for extra pay
Friendly and helful staff, good location (5 minutes from Versailles, and I am sure in summer Golf players enjoy the stay and the swimming pool). it was very calm, children friendly and we had an excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant (very good quality!)
The walk around the lake. the view from the room. No proper shower-only hand held.
The restaurant had a good ambiance and good food, although we did have to wait 30 minutes before getting any attention. We were placed in an annex to the main hotel (this was not clear from our booking) and then at 07:30 the hotel started loading laundry into a truck directly below our bedroom window.
The Chateau was a unique experience, which was exactly what we were looking for on our trip. It was very well maintained and the rooms were spacious. The proximity to Paris was key for our trip.
Delightful setting. Beautiful hotel with great staff. Good facilities. None
a beautiful chateau a wonderful stay
The beauty of the buildings and grounds Three flights of stairs to climb to the room
Exterior outside is excellent. The room for double is bad. Double room in this hotel are in poor location (attic) .The money I have paid 275 euro is not worth for the room like this.
Ambiance both internal and external The restaurant did not do justice to the hotel - being only a little more than adequate whilst the Hotel was substantialy more than adequate.
The restaurant service Was very very very ineficient And we wait one hour after sieting to be atended.
Oustanding facility Concierge could be more helpful in arranging activities
Wonderfull setting , comfortable room The food was excellent with an extensive wine list, however it was very expensive.
Large free parking lot available, clean room Not really friendly staff, bad smell in the corridors, french style bathrooms, few TV chains
We stayed here because the Novotel at Versailles was full. If you have a car and a satnav this is a great spot to be based to see Versailles and Paris. The hotel is in a village surrounded by fields. Versailles is 15 / 20 mins drive - park in front of the palace in the huge car park.Paris (Trocadero / Eiffel Tower car parks) is 25 / 30 mins drive. Without a car, this hotel is probably too far out. Room big and comfortable. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
rooms are big, quiet area it was a little cold in the room, but nothing could be done with the heating system
The food was pretty good and plenty to do with the kids.
that the hotel cleaning staff were always smiling and helpful and that even with a full day of conferences they and the front desk and the kitchens did not forget us simple visitors
Reasonably close to Versailles (15-20 mins drive), very good value for money for a Novotel. Although it's close to a busy road it was surprisingly quiet. Not many dining alternatives if you're not prepared to drive; no luggage storage facilities (we wanted to leave our bikes somewhere secure and ended up bringing them into our room overnight!)
Garden and swimming pool were excellent for the kids. Very child-friendly atmosphere: playing corner, special kid-menus, etc. Room was extremely warm (no airconditioning).
Nice clean room. Staff polite but very busy/understaffed so was difficult to get served in the bar
Lots to do for children Room price was good, Restaurant and Bar were over-priced
Incredible value for the money. Great restaurant. Quiet. The WiFi is only in chunks of 8 hours, but the hotel people are more than glad to give multiple chunks... A bit inconvenient though.
New hotel, only open a month (as of May 08). Great staff, in rural location. Very quiet, rooms have balconies. Sheets were a bit rough, but being new they hadn't been washed so many times.
Hotel located next to the forest, close to highway. Rooms very good: clean, recently modernised, 18m2 space with balcon, comfort bed. It is a nice and large business hotel (e.g. conferences). July 2008 we had one of the 3 rooms booked by guests. So very quiet and peaceful. Location not easy to find and lack of signs on the roads. Better to prepare the adress before leaving home, use Google maps and your car navigator. Breakfast: one could expect little from french hotel, but regarding the quality of the accomodation breakfast is very poor and the EUR 10 pp spent is waist of money. We are sorry to say that. In fact, MacDonalds is near by and offers better.
Le restaurant , very friendly stuff All was ok
Very nice and quiet environment and the staff was very friendly
it's good place for Romance, Holiday not for business traveller Ability to speak english and Currency conversion
beautiful seting near central paris. recommended to sanofi-aventis that they use it for business guests
Excellent overnight stay if you are on business in the south of Paris area it is quiet and relaxing and you don't have a problem to park your car None
This hotel suits people with a handicap well. We have been treated very friendly. No problems with noise from airplanes. The countryside is nice. Nice rooms. There were two weddings this Saturday. If you want people outside these celebrations to stay in your hotel you shouldn't allow the music to be so loud that one wakes up even on the third floor from the rhythm of the basses. I wouldn't be able to find the hotel in the dark: the signs are almost invisible!
The hotel was convenient to our journey to the South of France and proved to be the best IBIS hottel of the three that we used during our trip.
Completely renewed, high standard. Sympathetic crew. Close to the RER station, 45 minutes from Paris Austerlitz. Calm, historical little town, some restaurants. Marvelous shower closet. Generous buffet breakfast. Easy parking.
The rooms were small (but clean and stylish) and had no air conditioning except a window.
Restaurant and staff organization ( very kind ) - I chosen this hotel for its position and its fair.
Functional room, good dinner and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Free internet that actually worked!
The hotel is located near a beautiful park and a lake, the way to the center of Guyancourt through this park is very pleasant, though rather long. The hotel staff is very polite and well-disposed. Internet service is comfortable. The air conditioner was not effective enough during such a hot weather that was at the end of June, 2010. The table and chair in the room are good for the, but are not suitable for a work with paper and documents. A translucent curtain made of white tulle should be hung on the window, as the window looking at a car park, where inside the room is clearly visible.
Comfortable with high quality service and amenities. The location is a little inconvenient for the station.
dinner, swimming, tour paris
good quick check in 24 hours facilities good meals or snacks available 24 hrs (vending machine may be option)
We travelled with our dog and were allowed to take him into the bar and restaurant with us where they even provided him with water.
Helpfull staff, good service, spacious room with comfortable bed (superior)
The service was reasonably friendly and courteous. Very poor value for money. At EU140/night, the facilities were very poor (restaurant/bar, plastic cups in bedrooms, water not replaced from first night of stay). The air-conditioning was near useless but the over-riding problem was that of an all-pervasive stench around the hotel of sewers, very much including the rooms.
staff were good on front desk drinks in mini bar not refilled nor toiletaries in room
It vas very convenient to Versailles
the food and the very friendly manor of all your staff
hair dresser session causing lots of hair in the lobby and even stench of peroxide in restaurant!
Very nice hotel close to Versailles. Comfort, spacious and clean room, free parking and good breakfast for a reasonable price..
We really enjoyed it, everything was very good. It was a bit difficult to find it - I suggest to leave some leaflet with a map at the local Tourist Office, as they did not know the precise directions of the hotel.
Map directions poor. Non English speaking at hotel. Expected to be in Versailles :-(
It was easy to book and the management were friendly and the hotel and parking were secure. Facilities were somewhat primitive and breakfast ended at 9am
Disappointing the Flying Blue Miles cannot be booked however it is mentioned on the hotel website!
The hotel is basic, clean and ideal for business people or people in transit on long journeys No
Room was comfortable, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful and spoke English.
