The room was clean and updated The price was way to high
The front desk lady Mary was very helpful. We incountered a problem and the GM Linda was very rude. Was condescendly suggesting I had did something after there was evidence the hotel had messed up. In the end it was a wash but for a GM she should have better customer service skills.
Convenient location, staff very nice, internet ok Décor dated, carpet old, does not have a fresh clean feel. Bed comforter had odor - had to have all bedding exchanged. Coffee and breakfast only fair
The staff was wonderful and everything was clean. The main lobby and breakfast area were nice and typical of most Hampton Inns. The room did have a microwave and mini-fridge, which is always nice. The rooms were not quite as nice as other Hampton Inns. Hopefully they will be updated soon. Or perhaps our 3rd floor room just hadn't been updated yet. The counters and tub surrounds were yellowed and older. There was a subtle smoke smell, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The wallpaper was also noticeably older than other Hampton Inns. Not enough to make a fuss or ask for a different room, but just not as nice as other Hampton Inn rooms we've stayed at.
the price was lower than any of the other places in Lancaster. That should have been a warning. the place would need to upgrade just to be a disaster. The security latch didn't even fit into the door jamb. the sign in the lobby says 'no refunds after 20 minutes' that should have been a clue as well. Left over miss-matched furniture, everything run down, holes in the bed sheets, world's cheapest and smallest pillows, world's loudest in-room fridge, too noisy to sleep. Traffic from major highway on feet away, traffic noise all night, smell of flowery cleaning products was too strong, door was missing huge area of paint, standing water in kitchenette sink, I could go on, but you get the idea. I won't ever go back. I can't recall a worse experience and I've stayed in a lot of motels. Seedy characters hanging around the lobby, but no clerk, tacky big cans outside doors of some rooms, I'm guessing for smokers butts?
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and dining area. Room was a little cold. Was able to control via knob on the unit. A theromstat with numbers might have made it easier.
Room was nice and bed comfortable. Breakfast items were good and nice variety. NO
Friendly staff and clean rooms.
It was perfect and exceeded my expectations! Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable , air conditioning kept us cool and the staff at the front desk was helpful and very friendly. Close to the mall and easy access to everything. It

Free wifi, breakfast and the staff was really nice.
Price and proximity to Hocking Hills Staff handling food at breakfast bare handed
Nice comfy bed and the night shift clerk was very friendly
Everything and everyone from checking to checkout was superb! They were extremely accommodating and went out out of their way working with me and accepting my 'over the weight limit' dogs'. Great C.S.! No
Staff was great. Very clean. Pool/hot tub was a nice touch. Loved the deck that overlooked pool No DVD player in room or complimentary soda which was promised.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our room. We were luck enough to be able to reserve a smoking room which is a very nice luxury to have. The continental breakfast had some good choices and was a nice way to start off our day. The hotel was located close to a Walmart which was very convenient. I did not think that the room was worth was nearly $200 we paid. The location was 20 minutes away from the parts of Hocking Hills that we were visiting (Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave). While the room was nice, the shower drained slowly. I was standing in over ankle deep water at the end of each of my 15 minute showers. And channels that my boyfriend and I consider pretty basic, like Cartoon Network, were not available.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Hocking Hills State Park is right down the road and easy to find. The wifi signal was, as with most hotels these days, very weak. Room decor was a little dated, if that kind of thing bugs you. Downtown Logan was right across the freeway, and I thought the city was kind of a dump. There really isn't much to do there other than the State Park, which is beautiful and the main reason to go to this area!
Clean and updated room. Friendly staff. Easily accessible. Fuzzy TV.
Absolutely nothing. Please, do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to stay at the Baymont. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot I knew I couldn't stay at this place. First off, it's a motel- don't let the pictures fool you. And if you think it looks sketchy from the outside- wait until you get your room key. I was booked in a non-smoking room, however the smell of cigarettes and must took over the moment I stepped inside. I had read previous reviews about the "cleanliness" of the place so I did a thorough inspection when I entered. I didn't freak out about the dead flies in the window sill or the random/disgusting smudges on the wall, however, when I saw a giant dead bug on the carpet I knew it was over. I promptly went to the front desk to ask for help and frankly to suggest they refund my card so I could seek accommodations that were a bit better. I was told by the front desk that I would have to speak to the owners daughter about the refund. When she was called and didn't answer, I was told by the woman at the front desk "she's not going to call back, she never does if it's about the hotel." I decided to suck it up, lose one nights rate, and check myself into a much cleaner and nicer Baymont down the road. Best decision ever. Here's the bottom line: this place is dirty, smelly, a tad bit sketchy, AND the employees (and apparently the manager/owner) are both rude and unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere else.
