Very good and romantic restaurant. Staff really nice and helpful. Two course(fish soup plus meat) dinner with wine, coffee and dessert for two came to 65 euros (tips included) which is fantastic. Breakfast was great experience. Room with bathroom was big and very clean. Decore of room was lovely (stayed in queen room). Overall design of hotel is impressive. There was also a reading room with sofa and coffe machine. Parking is not a problem. Very close to the airport. My partner would have loved a small kettle in the room.
Just very convenient for our trip to Munich Rooms at the back had loud road noise if you like to sleep with window open
The room is spacious, clear and decorated in elegance. Breakfast and internet also include in room price that is economical. The room we were gave is near by the cross road. The cars came in and out all night. Indoor is stuffy and have to open the window. I couldn't sleep until wear the ear plug.
The hotel and staff no
The staff were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty. We were late for a flight and the staff checked us out quickly and phoned ahead to the airport on our behalf.
I loved the hotel I would stay there again, they spoke great English and were very nice. The room was beautiful and had a pretty nice tub. The breakfast is amazing!! Eggs, bacon really everything but a biscuit! I like how quite and peacefull it was! There was no pool and it's about 20 mins from down town Munich a little far away for my liking,
We really liked staying at the Ampervilla Hotel. It was a little off the beaten path, but the town was nice, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I definitely recommend it. It would have been nice to have a pool.
Wifi in the entire hotel, staff
Better than I expected!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet was included free of extra charge. The hotel is within walking distance to the Train Station and the older part of the city. We couldn't turn off the heat, and the room had no real air flow.
Ideal location for touring both Dachau and Munich. It is a 5 min. walk to the train station and 20 min. train trip to Munich. The outside of the hotel is not impressive but the room was one of the nicest we had in Germany. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Central location and very accommodating staff. Noise from traffic was excessive as our room was on hotel front.
We were very pleased with the helpful staff and impressed by the morning breakfast buffet. Dinner dining options were very limited
Located in the heart of the town, next to lots of stores. Room was very clean, neat, and beds were very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast buffet--the best we've had on our trip! A very nice place to stay! No complaints at all. Parking is a problem, but they do as well as possible. The parking garage is underground and maneuvering is tight.
Good location in Dachau nice clean rooms & bathrooms Parking available but convoluted to use & access since in a basement gated parking garage late check in was awkward -probably because of holiday season
very dirty carpet, no internet access
comfortable bed and clean room. Quiet atmosphere.
Staff were really helpful and breakfast was excellent Room was too hot and lift was broken
We had been to visit the Dachau concentration camp memorial, hence choosing Dachau to stay for the night. The hotel was fine for this purpose, friendly staff at reception, with a bar for coffee/nightcap later. Handily located for short walk to local restaurant, though you might need a car/catch bus into the main town centre. Room and breakfast were both adequate. Safe car parking underground was provided at daily rate. Bed was comfortable. Free internet access a bonus. Was slightly surprised that, as a 4* hotel, it did not have its own restaurant for evening meals.
The hotel is very modest, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast Very difficult to find, good for golfers in the near by golf field but less for business travellers.
The restaurant at the golf course next door was outstanding. This hotel was so far from everything. It was listed as 12km from Dachau (but that would be the city, not the memorial/tourist site). It was unreachable by public transport, and the taxi cost over 40 euro each way. It is exceptionally clean, but in a clinical sense. I felt like I was at Christian bible camp rather than a hotel. I hadn't realised when booking that it was part of the Christian Hotel association - and though there's nothing wrong with that, had I known that and more about the location....I Would have not booked in here.
clean comfortable affordable staff helpful next door to excellent restaurant a little confusing corridor wise
Very quiet environment.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant had excellent food, and the buffet breakfast was very nice. Location was good...close enough to Munich and Dachau, but far enough away to have that countryside feel. We would absolutely stay there again.
The owner was wonderful and took very good care of us.
informative and helpful staff
Clean, modern, large rooms with nice views over countryside - about 15 euros by taxi from Dachau train station. Simple but excellent breakfast - super fresh bread. Very helpful staff. Wireless was not working when I was there but they gave me a network cable and the wired connection was very good. Mobile signal a bit weak in parts of the hotel.
We liked Josef....wonderful man and very, very helpful...last nights stay in Germany...hated to leave his Gasthaus. We booked a double and an single room..there were three adults This place is perfect...in the quiet countryside
beautiful, spacious, clean rooms,neat-looking hotel, woodsy feel to the place, great buffet breakfast, gorgeous gardens, both flower and vegetable, plenty of onsite parking... host a delight, very helpful with directions to good food and attractions...wonderful internet connection, just a wonderful place to call home for a few days! i can't think of a thing
It was very nice. stuff is kind.helpful . dining room is also good..
The breakfast was amazing! The buffet was delicious, healthy with a variety of fresh breads berries, muesli, and yogurts to choose from. The table was set with pretty china and cloth tablecloths and napkins. The manager was kind and apologetic for the stange welcome (see what we liked least) There was no one to check us in and the front door was locked. They hid a key for us but didn't tell us. We never thought to look for a hidden key at a hotel. After standing outside for a while a guest came along and told us there was a key hidden by the door for us.
Friendly, helpful staff, and very good breakfast included in the rate. Nothing negative.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent and very fresh.
The room was very clean, light and recently refurbished. We had a good nights sleep. They do however close at 10pm and you need to check in before then. Once checked in and you have your keys access is no problem at any time of day/night. There is free parking in small private car park. Dachau train station is approx 20 min walk. I was shocked to be charged €23 (approx £18.50) for a normal German breakfast (meats, bread roll, juice and a coffee for two). Especially as this was inclusive at the next place we stayed.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean. But I believe it was a bit overpriced. But then again, we were in the area during Ocktoberfest, so maybe this is why the price was high. The bells! The staff and the community should place pressure on the local authorities to limit the bells ringing to daytime. It was horrid...they went on all night long, very 45 minutes! Someone mentioned those bells, but I didn't think it would be a serious issue. Believe me...it is very serious especially if you are going to be there more than one night.
the staff is good the location is not good
Convenient to the town and accessible in 20 minutes from Munich airport
Extremely comfortable and very clean; nice pasta in Italian restaurant downstairs. Very convenient for visiting Dachau Concentration Camp. It was fine for us in September but I suspect being above an Italian restaurant could well have been noisy in the summer months! Also a new member of staff didn't have any idea about the luscious icecream desserts on offer, and my husband ended up with just two scoops in a bowl!
Close to the Bahnhof and a few needed shops.
The room and food were excellent, and the convenience of the location next to the station meant we were in central Munich in 15 minutes. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Clean room, easy access to train into Munich no
Excellent loaction. Friendly and efficient staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends None
Very close to public transportation . Freindly staff. Clean rooms . Very nice restaurant and breakfast.
Location and parking They did not have my reservation even though it was made through Booking.com several weeks prior to arrival. However, rooms were available - so it worked out ok.
Exceptional courtesy and friendliness from both the hotel staff and dining room personnel. Clean accomodations and excellent food.
Next to Bahnhof, great access to all of Munich at a great price
The people were very nice and friendly. Rooms were clean and neat. The breakfast was very good. Minimal amount of parking.
It was convenient to the concentration camp in Dachau, Germany. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and met our needs. It just took us a little time to find it because it was on a one-way street.
This is a low price hotel that provides the minimum needed for a night's sleep. There was no one at the reception desk when I checked in. My key was in an envelop taped to the front door. The "free internet" did not work and since there was no one at the reception desk, I could not get any help. The next day, they gave me a code, which did not work. When I returnted to the front desk for more help, there was no one there.
Very friendly manager and very helpful Probably would have to say that the parking could be a problem as there are only a few hotel assigned places else your on the street. Luckily we had no problem for the one night we stayed.
The hotel is very peaceful and the staff is very cordial, the breakfast is very excellent!
Close to the memorial site. Good breakfast, spacious rooms. Quiet area although it was in an industrial area. The curtains were very thin so light quite bright in the morning.
It was conformtable and nearby the concentrationcamp no
location, cleanliness, breakfast and price
Large room, small hotel, nice breakfast, convenient parking, close to Dachau camp historic site Bit tired room, no shower curtain and no hair dryer, cheep soap pouches w/o shampoo
Friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms The restuarant did not open in the evenings - so we had to travel for dinner. The website was a little misleading on this point.
Small, but very clean. Staff was not real fluent in Englsih, but friendly and efficient. It was in a very pretty country location.
The hotel is in a really nice area and away from the smog. The rooms were very clean and tidy. It is easily accessible for those who want to Monaco and also the concentration camp at Dachau. The night we arrived there was no one to greet ..The hotel seemed abandoned, all the lights off... We found a note on the door where was shown the room that we should take..The reception was nonexistent.. The staff spoke only German.. When we arrived there was sought and even booking documents..When payment has not issued any receipt of payment which is risky to stay because the landlord could always say that has not been stayed, and then request a refund of the entire room in addition to the payment made
Excellent situation. Decent distance to Munich with a bus or a train via Schwabhausen. Excellent breakfast.
This was a homely well-run family business. I enjoyed my time at this guesthouse
