Pros: Pedro and Albertina are the perfect host. Super clean house. Nice garden and very friendly dog (kaiser)
Cons: Too short a stay.

Pros: Beautiful property right on Camino. Pool!! Perfect after climb out of Ponte de Lima.
Cons: Not being a big eater the dinner was too expensive.
Pros: The rooms were excellent as was the meal. Excellent value for the money.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: We stayed here after a long walking day on the Camino. The place is like an oasis - clean and comfortable with a great meal. Would highly recommend.
Pros: Everything was perfect, except the breakfast. In this kind of place we expect natural food, not croissants in plastic bags. Even the bread was not the kind of bread that you expect in the country side. All the rest was amazing.
Cons: Everything was perfect, except the breakfast. In this kind of place we expect natural food, not croissants in plastic bags. Even the bread was not the kind of bread that you expect in the country side. All the rest was amazing.

Pros: This property was further away from the path than we would have liked but the accommodation on the trail was booked. We took a taxi from the trail and what a treat awaited us! The owner was lovely and so accommodating, the accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable and there was a huge breakfast to get us set for the day ahead. The same friendly taxi drove us back in the morning to the trail. We were there on a Monday and not much was open for dinner but we managed with Augusta’s help!
Pros: I enjoyed walking around the small town. Breakfast with fresh juice was very nice.
Cons: Noise from the hallway, kitchen and next room woke me up at 2 AM.
Pros: Lovely hosts, and a wonderful space. Thank you- it was super!
Pros: The breakfast and the garden outside is really great, and the host is really nice. The entrance and the common areas are really beautiful.
Cons: The bathroom had some problems, specially the door, my wife was stuck there for some occasions, it was really hard to operate, and some of the wood is falling a part. all the furniture is really sharp and not children family, we couldn't rest with the kid awake.
Pros: Friendly owner, very nice property.
Pros: Great place and great owners. Thank you Louisa and your husband too, you are the best
Pros: The owner was absolutely charming and so helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She had lots of snacks when we arrived: chips, fresh fruit etc. even offered us a glass of wine after a long day of hiking the Camino. Our room was very nice, very modern and clean
Cons: No fault of the establishment, but when I booked I thought it was near the Camino route, which it was not. However I still think it was worth the taxi ride to stay in such a nice place.
Pros: Great place to rest for the evening if you are on the Camino. The host is excellent. Garden to sit out in and a shuttle service to the local restaurant in the evening.
Pros: The lady aranged for bus down to restraunt
Cons: Ñot much in area
Pros: Lovely little room and garden, and the shared bathroom was very clean. Perfectly located right on the Caminho and there was included transport to the restaurant. Lovely and helpful host and family. Thank you!
Pros: Great host!
Pros: This was an inexpensive stop on the Camino de Santiago. The room was nothing special but it was clean and the price was right. There is a kitchen available, but a restaurant located a mile or two away came and picked us up for dinner and returned us afterwards.
Cons: Some reviewers have complained that too many people were sharing one bathroom. I can see how that could be, but our room had a private bathroom so I can't comment further on that.
Pros: Perfect stop directly at the camino. Nice and peaceful place.
Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Pros: Lovely little casa right on the Camino. It was really nice not having to detour off the Camino at all after a day of uphill walking. Bathrooms were recently remodeled and spotless. Host arranged transport to a restaurant for dinner. Small casa with 4 rooms.
Cons: Bed could use an updated mattress, the coils were very prominent on the bed I slept.
Pros: Had a private room with a bathroom - lovely !
Cons: A little isolated .... but host happily volunteers to drive you to supermarket or cafe so this is not really an issue
Casa Da Oliveirinha is a traditional rustic stone guesthouse situated in the tranquil countryside of Agualonga. It offers rooms with air conditioning and a daily continental breakfast. Some of the many leisure activities nearby include hiking and horse riding.
Pros: We stayed here while walking the camino, and it was a lovely stay after a particularly long day of walking uphill. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves, and it was a lovely, quiet place to spend the night. Dinner and breakfast were both lovely, as was the accompanying wine. The host was very friendly and helpful when one of our party wasn't feeling well.
Pros: Beautiful grounds and self contained cottage.
Cons: Felt a little intermediated by the owner, who made 100% sure that we did not disrupt or move any of the items in the house. Had to help him fold away bedcovers so that he could put them safely away. Our friend did some laundry and was charged per item which worked out more expensive than the shared cost of the accommodation for the night.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Supper was good.
Cons: Room rather cramped for three people. Separate bathroom. Did laundry for a few items which proved to be very expensive.
Pros: Fernando and his wife were very friendly They made us feel comfortable in there beautiful extended home. They served a beautiful dinner and a tasty breakfast. We also enjoyed visiting with the other guests.
Pros: Fernando is the host and owner of the lovely hostel. The history he shares makes the stay even better. He has a great, outgoing personality and able to connect on many different levels.
Cons: For someone that is sensitive to cold weather, most places I’ve stayed at have no to little heat. Although there are heaters and a hot shower it is a bit chilly.
Pros: Fernando the host goes above and beyond, speaks excellent English. Felt more like a visit with an old friend than simply a place to stay for the night. Beautiful property in the countryside. Delicious authentic Português dinner. Fabulous wine. Wonderful laundry service. Couldn’t ask for more. A memorable evening on the Camino with special people.
Pros: Very nice host Fernando. Delicious home-cooked dinner with an excellent bottle of wine.
Pros: Homely. Lovely home cooked meal.
Pros: Beautiful place! Great for relaxation yet very comfortable and clean! The owner is just great! Nothing was a problem.

Pros: 4 of us split between 2 rooms - one a triple without bathroom that was very hot on a hot afternoon and an ensuite twin (with 2 double beds!), which I stayed in, which had a lovely bathroom and was beautifully cool. The pricing seemed odd, because our ensuite twin was about the same price as the triple with shared bathroom and almost seemed like a different hostel. We drew straws and I got lucky. My scores are based on the ensuite twin: clean, cool, comfortable - I recommend it thoroughly; the other not so much. The staff were very friendly and check-in was fairly smooth - no one was there when we arrived but a phone call produced someone very quickly. We were driven in the evening to the restaurant owned by the same family which is actually in Rubiaes (the hostel is on the Camino just outside the little hamlet) and had a very good meal.
Cons: I think the pricing should be adjusted to reflect the much poorer value of the triple with shared bathroom compared with the ensuite twin. The latter is really good value, the former not.
Pros: Nice big room with cosy under floor heating; good kitchen; pleasant and helpful host; quiet and peaceful location near the Camino; warm and comfortable bed, clean and functional bathroom.
Cons: Just a small thing, but having a holder for the shower rose on the wall might make it easier to use for some!
Pros: Greta place for travelers
