Breakfast was perfect! Thanks for the whatsapp support!
All OK! Maybe you can (on the outside of building) better show where the facility is located. Building 5 on number 6 - this may be unclear (to me it was).
Second time around staying in this place. I have reviewed this place in detail before. They took my feedback from the first time, and made more efforts to keep me comfortable. Like I said before, nothing but love and I will prefer to stay here in the future.
The elevator. Also there is no ramp to drag luggage in the ground floor but that is how the building is. It will be a problem if you have heavy or a lot of suitcases when you want to exit or enter.
I loved this place so much, that I cancelled the booking for another place for my second trip to Rome and booked this one. It was more comfortable than any luxury hotel I have lived in. I felt so much at home. Giovanni is the caretaker and he is the sweetest person. He is always helpful and ensures that everything is carefully organized. The room is spacious enough. There is a safe in the cupboard. The lighting in the room and power points are super convenient. The kitchen/common area is just charming. The decor and ambiance of the BnB is homely 1960s style. Veronica is the owner, and she is beautiful and so amazingly sweet. It was her grandparents house, and she has very beautifully preserved some cool antiques belonging to them. She has even preserved the countertops which give the place an eclectic-funky-modern vibe. There is a lot of care that has gone into every aspect. I particularly appreciated the special disposal bags for sanitary napkins and intimate hygiene wash pouches. This is stuff you won't find in any hotel. The breakfast is typical Italian stuff but plenty. In terms of location this place is very close to San Giovanni, so it makes life sooooooooooo easy with both metros and buses. I did not struggle to get to the main attractions in Rome. There are plenty of restaurants around so you don't ever have to struggle to find food. They also ensure that you keep in touch with them when you arrive so they are ready to guide you to the apartment. That completely overcame any inconveniences. Moral of the story. This is a beautiful BnB run by good-hearted, very loving people. I will stay here every trip I make to Rome, even if it is a work trip, because I have never been this comfortable even in the most luxurious 5 star hotel.
It's a little difficult with the elevator (lift) because it's old and small, but that was just a minor inconvenience. The shower could be a little bigger, its very cramped. The cupboard could also be a little bigger. But really when you are as comfortable as I was, all these don't matter. Just a warning: the Roman tap water is high in salt.
Good bed and breakfast in a centrical location
Were not there when i checked in, but arrived quickly
Breakfast was just perfect! Everything was there, fresh and taste. At B&B La Chiave di Roma every detail was on the right place. Great location, on the walk distance to Colosseo and 3 minutes to metro. Giovanni is adorable and helpfull. He arranged a taxi and took care about everything. Thank you! I hope every place would be like that.
