Location, cleanliness, cost, breakfast and friendliness of staff
Bathroom has a little mould in it, the shower looks a bit ropey and the fridge makes constant noise
The bed was comfortable and the room had all that I need including beverages fridge coffee maker and tea kettle. The hairdryer was useful unlike in other places, also the wifi was working well.
The place is actually the basement of the villa so my room smelled a bit of humidity. Also it was quite dark and not as beautiful as the pictures. The breakfast was jam and a croissant, maybe for the price is not bad but I wouldn't say it was a good breakfast. The staff was nice but mostly down to business, the location is a nice villa outside of the Vatican but that particular side of the street is above the hill like the Vatican so it felt separated to the actual neighborhood below and quite lonely at night as it faces the Vatican and a main road. Overall is not bad but I would not say its great. The bed is right next to the door so my head was facing the door which I don't like, but maybe it's a personal preference.
Very clean Staff were fab
Would have like a view with a balcoly
My bathroom shower overflowed and I had to wipe it up but other than that the accommodations were great.
The location is great and was perfect for my planned sightseeing. It's also lovely, clean and quiet and, much to my surprise, the sofa bed was really comfortable too, As a person who is sensitive to synthetic perfumes I really appreciated the spotlessly clean and fresh bedding and towels that did not have potent laundry product perfume on them. There's plenty hanging space for clothing, basic toiletries are provided, there's air conditioning/heating and it's in a private complex with a locked gate (you get your own key for this) so is very secure too. There's a kettle, tea and coffee in the room and a nearby supermarket (about 5 minutes walk) and several cafes and restaurants within easy reach.. Claudia and the rest of the staff were lovely. Claudia was really kind, accommodating and very helpful. I can't praise her enough. Thank you Claudia for helping to make our stay in Rome so wonderful :)
Perhaps some more hanging rails for towels would be helpful in the bathroom, plus a handrail in the shower for the elderly or others who are not so steady on their feet. Other than that, excellent.
