They advertised free wifi but the wifi hardly worked. The fridge in the room did not work and when we called about it, no one came to fix it. The pool closes at 7pm, thats way to early. The pool is small.
Everything was more then ok. -
the bed is so comfortable. love the shuttle to the train station. breakfast offers a variety of food too. oh, and you can't beat a free wireless internet in room. should have a complimentary drinking water.
very nice and affordable place, not that far from the city (good connections to metro with free hotel shuttle bus as well as with public buses 663, 664, 654).
Staff were friendly & helpful Most of the taxis were unaware of the existence of the hotel & therefore it was a bit difficult to get to the hotel from the airport.
Please switch off the music in the corridors. This so irritating! This is the only issue I have and is serious enough not to want to book again despite the fact that all other elements of my stay were so good
The new rooms were great. Staff still needs training. We booked just to use the pool for the day. It was not available and the manager only offered 10% off or a drink. We were offered to use the fitness center off property, but that is not what we were paying for. We were not even spending the night. It was the most expensive NON use of a pool I ever spent!!!
The facilities were great from the room to the hotel restaurant and bar. The staff was really great and nice, there is a city bus that takes you to the city center so that was good. Would definitely stay there again. Not a lot of channels for tourist mainly Italian channels.
it was excelent, while i staid there, the hotel comfort and design , the personal was great and all there were wonderfull, i hope to see you again thanks it was good
The hotel is brand new but needs improvement on staffing. The rooms are spacious and well done. The location is the greatest disadvantage of this hotel. Once you retire to the hotel room there is nothing else to do but to rest. The surrounding area is not very well developed.
It is superdeluxe, for a very good pricing
excellent price Advertised a shuttle to airport but only runs 5 times a day
The room was clean and breakfast was good, with a decent cappucino served. Good if you dont mind commuting into the city centre with a choice of Metro or bus. Good value for money, we paid €72 per night including breakfast. The hotel was located in a run down looking area. The street was dirty and bins unemptied for days surrounding this hotel. The metro is about a 10 minute walk away and the number 85 bus takes you directly into the City Centre passing the Colloseum on the way. Transport by bus finishes at midnight so you would have to get a taxi back to the hotel should you wish to take in nightlife at €15.
Close to public transport. Free breakfast. The rate was good compared to other places. The train to the airport was also very convenient and much cheaper than taking a cab as well as shorter. The train takes you right into the airport. The shower had mildew in many spots. There was an air conditioning leak in the hallway while we were there and had to slosh through the water before it was pulled up. The hallway smelled from that point on. I'm sure this was just bad timing for us and doesn't happen frequently. It was not in the greatest neighborhood, but we weren't going to spend any time in the local area.
Close to all public transport systems and Airport train (Fiumicino/FCO) train station, enough free car park space, Breakfast american style with Italian touch, clean & comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. I think altough quality is really good it´s to expensive for being on the outmost edge of the innercity circle. We paid some 125€ for 1 double room with breakfast for two per night begin June 08.
Exactly as described, clean, comfortable in good location
Location: it's very comfortable to reach this hotel from Fumichino airport This hotel doesn't correspond to price. Poor breakfast, nothing italian, overcooked omelet e.t.c. There is no iron and wardrobe in the room.
Good location in the suburbs a few stops on the subway from town
The location was very convenient for us, the room clean and comfortable, and the breakfast very good. The staff were horrible--uninformative, sullen, and rude. The advertised central email access, which we had wanted to use during our stay, had no connection and was unavailable our whole stay. Staff had no idea where an Internet Cafe could be found, though one was 3 blocks away.
the staff is very welcoming and helpful with good english. the location is great and help us to enjoy firenze even more. the hotel reception is at the top floor. as writen before the bath is small and not comfortable.
Free parking, cleaning rooms
The room is clean, the staff is quite helpful. It is quite far from the Metro Station, and the neighbourhood seems to be unfriendly place to stay. The breakfast is over rated.
Didn't arrive until late evening and just stayed for one night. Breakfast was good. Would have preferred to stay in the hotel itself but were in garden apartments.
Only the guy at the reception was friendly. Further I did not liked anything. Hotel is in a extreme poor area. Difficult to access and really nothing around. Restaurant opened at 20:45 hours and nothin g to eat before (also not, larger, in the surrounding area). Swimming pool was not in use by anyone. Airconditioning in the room did not work.
The staff were excellent, as was the food, shuttle service and overall experience I would be more than happy to recommend this hotel and if i ever return to rome would most certainly stay again The pool could be cleaned more frequently
The staff were very helpful in aiding us around the city as it was our first trip to Rome. They helped schedule shuttle service for our transport needs, and even helped us ordering food when the hotel restaurant was closed It was a very far distance from Termini, Fiumicino airport, restaurants, and almost everything else in the city. Being visitors to Rome without a vehicle, it was expensive to travel to and from.
Assistance from the staff was excellent, with regard to checking in for flights, transport to & from the metro and shuttle to Ciampino Airport. Dinner reasonably priced and well cooked Access on foot to metro was not as good as appeared from maps, due to work on road - Via Lucrezia Romana is closed so only foot access to metro is along busy circulatory road. Hotel is actually between the two carriageways of the GRA. Bus 503 circulates past hotel to metro Anangina. Ideally need car to get around.
It was not clearly signed, direction wise, had it been easier to locate it would have been OK. There again I/we found the directional road very hard to follow.
Near the Ciampino Airport. I ask for a non-smoking room and I got a smoking one, but the problem was fixed .
People working at the reception desk, at dinner and at breakfast friendly and ready to help customers making noise with their door late at night. Way to the hotel difficult to find at night, not enough big panels showing the way
Good pool. Shuttle bus to airport. Reception was not always that helpful - perhaps language was part of the issue. No-one at the bar to sell a cup of coffee (all day). Nowhere to get lunch at the hotel. Request for tea/coffee making facilities in the room took hours even after repeat requests.
Staff were very helpful and pleasant N/A
Very nice hotel with a swimming pool. It also has a range of apartments
Quiet location, good facilities. Secure. Reception employees were very polite and helpful. Menu looked very good. Restaurant Staff was terrible. wine waiter poured wine on table - served red in white wine glass. We ordered second course and then waited 20 minutes before someone came to us and informed us the restaurant was closing - when we asked for our main course she looked as though i had offended her!
swimming pool staff couldnt speak English
The cleaning of our room was exellent. The breakfast was almost un-eatable. The hotel staff didn't seem to have been on any service updates. Smile - and the world will smile back :-)
It was near ciamiano airport which is why I booked it also very easy access to metro from there. It was not a four star hotel and is in a very run down area. I did not feel safe staying there.
Had a reasonably priced restaurant. 10mins from Champino Airport. Hotel shuttle bus or hotel will arrange luxury taxi service out of hours. Difficult to find hotel. Even the taxi driver got lost in the maze of out of town blocks flats and dead end roads.
è un pò lontano dal centro, ma in questo hotel si possono trovare tranquillità e un ottimo servizio. Pulizia ottima e staff cordiale
hotel restaurant is very poor and food is not good
Nice hotel, attentive staff. Fraud - Website advertises complimentary shuttle to/from the airport. not. The gave us shuttle from the airport after we complained to booking.com, but still refused to provide shuttle to the airport, even with booking.com intervention. Pool closes at 9:00pm. Location is well outside the city, so not very conducive to city tourism.
Near public transport, friendly staff, nice breakfastroom, nice bar. We booked a deluxe room. On the website it says that all deluxe rooms have a balcony. Ours didn't... Luckily we could change the room. The room was not totally clean (butts from previous guests on terrace, dust on the floor). No free wifi.
Very nice hotel, close to the metro and also good connecticity with a car. No service at the bar in the evening.
The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. Since this is Rome, you know, we did not expect a very big room and thus were not surprised to find a small room in which you barely had space to make three steps. Also if you are a couple it will be impossible to walk both of you in the room at the same time. So for those of you looking for a big room this is not the place to be. Also if you are taller than 1,80 meters I would not recomend this hotel to you since the beds are precisely 1,80 meters long.
I think that this hotel is ideal for a trip to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We were very happy with the service, the room was not lacking anything, the breakfast was great and the location was ok, near the metro to a nice neighborhood with shops and everything. The only thing that was strange was the toilet door which was 2 sliding plastic doors and the door to the bath which was nonexistent. That was not a problem with us, a couple, but with others this could be awkward.
Hotel was very clean and all appliances were modern and new. Location could have been a little nearer to the centre of Rome
The place was modern and clean, with comfy beds, and at least for us, a quiet room. the photos on the web site tend to be slightly misleading in over-glamourising the hotel, particularly since some of them are essentially of stair case landings.
The staff was very friendly. The interior of the hotel was very good and the breakfast was organized well (compared to other hotels we have stayed) The air conditioning problems were the worst part, but it didn't bother very much
Television was tricky to operate, no dinner or lunch available on the premises
nice layout. spacious considering european standards. breakfast was good. bathroom had a strange moldy smell. one day after returning the hotel cleaning staff left their dirty soapy towel on my suitcase, which shows poor attention to detail in service.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good english. The breakfast service was very good especially the friendly atmosphere. All in all a very pleasurable experience An information pack would have been helpful as we were unsure if the items in the fridge were free or not
The hotel was very friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel was high- end, not luxury but great for the price. Though convenient to shops, restaurants, and metro stop it's not in a particularly beautiful part of Rome.
Nice view from the restaurant, room and facilities were good. At first we didn't get the room we reserved (double bed at front of hotel instead of the desired twin beds at the back of the hotel), but this was corrected after the first night.
Location, friendly staff Very small room
Location was nice very close to the bus and Metro stops. Staff gave detailed directions / tips for around the area. Only the tiny elevator took for ever to find it empty. Could walk five flights of steps fast than the elavator.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Good prices and not far from center
Excellently situated in central part of town a few hundred meters to the nearest Metro station Room not quite up to usual Best Western standard. Carpets appeared to be worne down and wall paper had come unstuck in places. Unpleasant odour from the toilet.
Staff and hotel location
I thought their breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety. The view from the lounge was great, which helped me get around the area since I walked most of the places I visited. The location is perfect, with culture, art, food and shopping all within walking distance. I asked for smoking but didn't get it.Didn't have resturant open all day.Internet isn't same as North American,so I didn't know how to use it and language barrier seemed to far apart to get help that I needed.
Clean with good facilities and a good bus service into the centre It was a bit further out than we would have liked
Clean Rooms. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast, Good internet connection I was happy with everything!
Location. It's quite easy to find, even if you don't want to use a taxi (but you have to walk about 5-7 min. from the metro station). My room was comfortable, although for the people that are bigger and taller than me it may seem a bit too small. The breakfast was good, even for the vegetarian, and there was even the library! The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. I didn't quite understand how was the lift working during the breakfast time - it seemed that the destination "hall" had been disabled, and I was restricted to use stairs to come down when checking out. I don't mind using stairs, I just didn't understand how the lift worked...
parking, nice and spacious rooms, very good services, good staff
The location suited me perfectly There was no snack bar/restaurant, however, there were eateries in a nearby shopping center.
The staff were pleasant and enough spoke English for me to get by. Could not get food in the hotel, and nowhere local to obtain it. Ended up with takeaway Pizza.
The only positive would be the room and hotel itself were nice. Basically could not get anything to eat from restaurant at half six that evening we arrived, ended up eating an apple which was left in the room and we were charged five euro for each apple. Also there was no shuttle from hotel to metro station (even though it was advertised as a hotel service), they told us to go out and walk down to a bus stop to get a bus to metro. Bar closed early so you couldn't even get a drink at nine o clock. Not much english with some of the staff either. For a four star hotel both the staff and facilities really need to be worked on as they are very poor and disappointing. Another point not much in surrounding area mostly industrial .
Perfect location just 30m from metro station, in the city, 24 hour reception, small but clean, ideal for several days city trip.
We enjoyed very much our stay at Roi Hotel. It was excellent for our four days city trip in Rome. Excellent location, good value for money, nice staff, very clean and comfortable bad.The room and the bathroom look better then in the pictures. The breakfast could have been a little bit more consistent. But all in all, it was more then ok.
Close to metro station and in a relatively quiet area, courteous staff. Breakfast served in room at the time you choose. Room was not very spacious and no table.
The staff. The location. The room was clean. The bathroom. The breakfast can be improved a lot.
Great customer service
It is close to Metro line, the room was clean and very comfortable. I had to leave the hotel early and I have to look for the recepcionist for the whole place, to find that he was sleeping in one of the rooms, thst day the did not give breakfast, despite it was clear it was included in the price, saying that was too early to "prepare it"...(breakfast is: a box of juice and crackers....what do you need to prepare). Also it would be advisable to havea special room to have breakfast
friendly staff; clean and bright room; close to metro station - approx. 20m; nearby internet cafes; decent view (nice with city noise); comfortable bed same type of breakfast served every morning, although coffee was varied
good location - near metro station; quiet area; the hotel was clean - towels were changed almost each day not everybody from the hotel service knew English good enough; room wasn't very big - would be not very comfortable for elders
Proximity to the centre of Rome, value for money, not the most luxurious hotel but there was everything one would need, also large single bed, TV, fridge and air conditioning (although it is very noisy) and bathroom. Single room is tiny but if only needed literally to relax and sleep it was more than adequate. The breakfast could be more, it was just a coffee and croissant, but for the price of the room it was the only thing lacking, so fair enough.
We liked location. It is in the center and there is a metro station just in a several of meters from the hotels front door. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. And there is a little supermarket very close too and some places to grab something edible. It is good since the hotel provides poor breakfast. Breakfast was poor, nothing fresh, everything in packages (biscuits, croissants). Staff was not very friendly and welcoming.
The reception staff were very friendly and space in and around the hotel is very useful even for a short walk. Beautiful settings. Good for romance and relax.
The garden around the hotel
The gardens and all environment Small rooms , missing space to keep the luggage, missing bread, ham ...at breakfast time
Easy to find with good clear directions, check in process was quick and room was clean, parking for guests Noise from road
The hotel was exactly what I expected and very close to Ciampino airport which was the reason that we chose it. The room was very dark and the balcony was locked so that you could not get out onto it. The hotel decor was a bit tired but very clean and the staff were very pleasent.
External environment, comfortable internal, business clima, cordiality and effectiveness of the staff, cleanliness, free internet, top value for money maybe in the entire Rome. The city center is not easy reachable, despite of the shuttle.
This hotel is a good choice if you go to Rome by car and don't want to stay in the centre of the city. The hotel is easily accessible by car from the highway, parking at the hotel is free and getting into town takes just about half an hour by bus + metro. Our room was very clean and spacious. Would not recommend if you go to rome for a short stay and want an hotel with nice atmosphere and central location, since it is really a business hotel (therefore offering cheap rooms in weekends). Downside of the room was the fact that we had only a bath, with the ceiling being so low, that you could not have a shower while standing.
The receptionist Ali was very kind and helpfull. He gave us very good advices. The complete staff was good. The bathroom is very small and when you take a shower everything is wet.
Hotel staff very happy and friendly, always trying to assist. The room was a little small and the bathroom was even smaller!
Helping attitude of the staff. It is truly amazing. The place felt like home.
the location is very pleasant - quiet residencial neighberhood. convenient public transportation to center and within walking disatnce. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice garden. Small rooms. a bit noisy from the street.
The staff was friendly, cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Unless you had your bath at 7 AM in the morning, there was no hot water in the mornings. However, it was available in the evenings. Also, it seems that drain pipes up gradually choking up, as the washbasin takes a lot of time in emptying, leaving the residue behind.
