The room, a studio, was spacious and very clean. It was good to prepare my own food. The building is modern and there is a lift. The bed, which was a sofa-bed, was extremely hard and very uncomfortable. The location was not central and the area was dirty and unfriendly.
Smart, new accommodation. Fairly basic but modern, clean and efficient. Don't expect extensive hotel services - this is a residence but it is better than any of the hotels in Beziers. Secure parking and easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The opening hours of reception are limited (this region of France is like that!) but the manager phoned me on the day of arrival to check my arrival time and organise out of hours key collection if necessary - very proactive and presumably a response to some of the criticism in other reviews. Manager and staff were very helpful. Also, wired internet connection is 2 euros per day, not per hour as said by one reviewer. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay and good value Reception hours really should be longer (typical of this region - they close for lunch and close for the night at 7pm). 10 am is a pretty early check-out, and they do knock your door to make sure you do.
Very helpfull Staff Really clean room and hotel Well equipped kitchen The wireless Internet is not working in the bedrooms
easy walking distance to all attractions/brand new rooms the studio settee bed was rock hard and caused us both to suffer back pain during our stay
The very best part of our stay in Bezier was the hotel staff at the hotel. We got so many good tips and ideas for trips to take and sights worth seeing, resturants and small villages to go to. As for the hotel itself, not very charming and realy not the best location for turists, but clean and funktional apartment hotel that worked very well for our stay. We stayed at the hotell during october and had no problems with parking, but in high season parking wil be a problem. Sound travels well in the building, and this will probably be a problem with a lot of families staying there in high season.
The staff were helpfull. Good breakfast. The hotel is very clean Very short time for usiang the Internet by one person
Evrything was perfect for us. There was a lack of hot water for a long period on day 2.
small hotel, friendly welcome/service - new, comfortable and quiet rooms
Although small, the room was spotlessly clean and with good facilities. We were pleased to have access to BBC World on the television. It was well worth paying a small extra sum for garage parking in the middle of the town. We thought that the price of breakfast was far too high at 13 Euros per person per day for the buffet or 8 Euros at the bar. We therefore ate breakfast in local cafes which cost us between 6 and 7 Euros for the two of us.
The shower with the Grohe spray system The service was terrible. We requested a wakeup call. None came. We asked them to order a taxi, no call was made. They told us breakfast was at 6:30. No one was there and no breakfast was available.
nice clean room. Good underground parking place. no restaurant
Great breakfast; very kind staff; clean rooms; A/C worked our room was a bit small
Staff very kind Not much choice of food
Comfortable bed but room/bathroom small Need to walk across major roads (no pedestrian crosssin) to get to the Port but it took 5 mins only. You need a car to get to the beach
the room was modern and comfortable and fresh
Rooms a little on the small side, work desk v small.
Style and Design features
The hotel is a well kept secret. If it hadn't been for a recommendation from a friend, I doubt we would hve picked is as a place to stay during our short visit to the South West.. The building has been buitifully and sympathetically restored and converted into a hotel without losing its historic charm. We felt very "at home" and would not hesitate to return if we visit the area again. An excellent location from which to visit Bezier and Montpellier. The rooms would beneift from air conditioning.
Friendly and helpful staff, high quality fitout with excellent amentity. na
the location and the staff super friendly and helpful shower had large damp patch in ceiling - should be sorted by the owner!
The ambiance of the establishment and the flexibility of being able to eat there if one wanted to.
the style was impeccable.wonderful setting.beautiful furnishings.large rooms noise of roads.this is everywhere in france. restaurant full both nights we tried to book.
the air conditioning and quiet room
Very helpful and friendly staff Room in need of redecoration
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel into the centre of the prosperous shopping and restaurant part of the city, with easy access to the bus stop I felt that the hotel could really do with decor updating and tidying to match the inherant grandure and style of the building
Size of room. Separate wc. Double glazing. Good city view & balcony. Helpful staff. City location. Good atmosphere of a non chain hotel. Breakfast not very good. A few slices of ham and cheese and maybe boiled eggs would help at minimum cost. We went out for breakfast.
The toilet in the wardrobe -- very funny. I wonder why they didn't put it in the bathroom? Lighting everywhere was too dim. Prett difficult to find somewhere light enough in the room to read.
Very nice room, liked that we had a room overlooking the courtyard. Very convenient location for both the cathedral and the train station.
The breakfast at this hotel was excellent and the staff very helpful. Bedrooms were not as good as we would expect for a 3* hotel the bedroom toilets were virtually in a cupboard = very difficult for a large person. This hotel's facilities were more in line with a 1* and we were charged for garage spce which we were not told about at the time of booking.
Chic bedroom well presented in a good city centre location close to the fiesta
The staff were exceptionally friendly No tea/coffee facilities
Very good hotel in terms of value for money.
We found the hotel adequate for our purposes; i.e. in transit with our pet dog between spain and UK. Pretty comfortable, helpful staff.
Hotel was clean friendly and exactly what we needed for an overnight stop.Whilst they have no restaurant on site a short walk away is an excellent one with good quality food at OK prices. Watch the check in time. You cant check in early as there is nobody there.
Lady at reception very helpful - we arrived at the hotel late at night when it was already closed but we phoned her and she told us the code to open gate and back door so we could go in. Room very big for a two star hotel can be difficult to find without a GPS , especially because in that area everything is named "monestiè" , there are many signs with the word "monestiè" and you have to guess which one is the hotel
Proximity to Beziers and mediterranaen generally. Rooms were comfortable, air conditioning good, nice location, quiet and unfussy. Proprieter, manager very friendly and hospitable. Had a little difficulty finding initially - may be peculiar to me.
nice and no noice central and easy to find freindly and family like only drawback no elevator to upper rooms no
Very friendly staff, large quiet rooms. Good breakfast choice. Good Value, not too far into town but need car.
Well despite 2010 Michelin and being a Logis and it's 3 stars - the stars are tarnished, Michelin were dozing and Logis need to visit again. The room was ok with a tiny bed however ther service at diner was awful as was the 'Michelin food' so much so they did not charge us for it due to the chaos in the kitchen. So not a lot to lik about this Hotel, oh and the Madame does not know the word sorry??? We could have been a one off - I don't think so the food service was terrible and the actual food when we got it after an hour and 10 wait was not what we ordered, cold and very poor quality.
Nice old style Hotel with character if a little run down. Rooms were tired but functional. Free WiFi a good feature.
Friendly and helpful owner, clean room, comfy bed, powerful shower, well priced, nice breakfast.
an overnight stop before i joined my tour the next day. the lady (?owner) on reception when i arrived was very helpful and we managed a conversation in english/french . the room was basic but clean and had a comfortable bed. did not have breakfast but looked good @€6.50. the bathroom in my room was a little on the small size, the hand basin was in an awkward position and small which made brushing teeth very difficult, first time i have brushed teeth in shower before!
The location of this hotel was perfect for walking anywhere in Beziers. There were some really great restaurants that were an easy 5-10 minute walk. It is also a great area for shopping (Galleries Lafayette was literally across the street). The family that runs the hotel is really nice and extremely helpful with booking bicycles, making restaurant suggestions, etc. The breakfast was excellent for the money. We got much more offered for breakfast than what we are used to in French hotels. There was some noise between the rooms (nothing unbearable though). There was hardly any traffic noise from outside, which was wonderful!
very warm reception, very polite and competent clerk. simple standard of rooms, but very nice and welcoming.
Very central to town. Staff friendly-phoned for taxi to airport. Breakfasts good-lots of coffee. Also near bus station.
convenient for railway, city, and park.. very friendly and helpful staff. good breakfast pleasant room. nothing to dislike.
location the staff were unhelpful not friendly they made us have breakfast and charged me £6 more than the quoted price, will not visit hotel again
Lovely hotel, very clean room very comfortable, good location close to city centre, rail and bus links etc. very friendly helpful staff. Noisy guests next door on the last night of our stay.
thin walls, noisy.
The breakfast was good, home made cake and yoghurt. The bath/shower room was very tiny.
Nice hotel in a good location. We stayed for 3 nights in early November 2010 with our 1 year old daughter. The hotel provided a cot at a charge of €8 per night as advertised. The room was fairly basic, clean with a small bathroom with a good shower. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony, and other rooms on our floor had a very large balcony which would be nice in the summer. We did'nt pay for breakfast as it appeared that you did not get much for your €7 per person. The location is very good for the town and train station, and unlike many other hotels nearby is not next to a busy road. Would certainly stay here again having seen the location of other hotels nearby. Plenty to see in Beziers and the surrounding region.
Very convenient and attractive location in centre of the town. Small relaxed hotel, ideal for a short stay.
being within easy walking distance of the town, and having front rooms (which we didn't have) overlooking the lovely park Poorly furnished. Needs updating. However, very clean and we enjoyed using the bicycles on loan. We were ab le to change to a slightly better, but more expensive room.
Good sized room over looking street, located just opposite the railway station. Comfortable bed, flat screen TV, good breakfast, good shower. First impression from the outside of the hotel was not very good when we were there.
Close to railway station; well-functioning air condition in the room Bathroom is tiny. I had difficulties where to put my legs while sitting on the toilet. Ok, I'm 1,93 m, but nevertheless...
Very pleasant staff who coped admirably with our very poor French. Good continetal breakfast if a little expensive by our standards. The evening meal tasty and very good value for money. Bathroom was rather cramped which did not do service to an otherwise spacious and comfortable room.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the rail station (a very short walk). Fine for a one-night stay but very basic. Also no lift and spiral staircase makes baggage handling difficult
very little needs much modernisation and larger beds.
the convenience of being close to the station and then close to town. No fuss room but it was adequate. A lift would have been handy
The firndly welcome of the staff. The buffet breakfast was good and there was a selection of snacks and drinks available. It was situated across the road from the railway station and the hotel was soundproof with air conditioning.
Location is good for the Rail Station. Cramped, poor decor and gloomy. I'd forgotten that hotels like this still existed in France. It was like going back 30 years!
Hotel Terminus is located very close to the train station which is handy. The staff were very friendly and the room was fairly comfortable/good value. The 'saloon' style bathroom door (not sure if all rooms are the same) did not afford much privacy!
In all honesty, we found virtually nothing to like, apart from the fact that our room was really clean and the bed ok. Breakfast was good. We were really disappointed. The hotel is run down and needs investment. Its location was fair for walking to the centre and relatively easy to find. The parking was safe, but awkward. It consisted or knocked through cellar/basements. A larger car (than a Mondeo) would have been almost impossible to park as we were requested. The dining room and menu were not worth considering for dinner, but the breakfast was good. Realistically this is a 'workman's hotel' and for that client group it is ok, but not for tourists, as we were. The lack of a lift made a second floor room difficult for us.
The hotel was in an ideal location in the city centre, the staff were incredibly helpful and the hotel was very comfortable - the city was nice for the weekend, but not as anticipated, however the hotel lived up to all expectations. Nothing.
Parking unavailable and somewhat expensive in town parking
Great price with clean refurbished rooms and a comfortable bed. Undercover public parking (with security) was available quite close to the hotel. There was a bit of noise in the street at night - ear plugs worked well.
Handily located between the gare routiere and the gare SNCF. Very friendly and obliging staff. A bit tatty and run down. I wouldn't recommend it for stays of more 1 or 2 nights.
Reasonable location close to main areas of Beziers centre. Friendly and helpful staff, but you need to be able to speak some French as no English spoken. 15 mins walk from railway station (but mainly uphill, so you need to be reasonably fit if pulling cases/bags). This is a basic hotel, with no lift, but it is cheap. If you don't want to pay much, and don't expect too much, then this hotel is fine. Breakfast lacked imagination, if not quantity. Probably worth having breakfast outside the hotel at one of the local cafes.
It was chic and very French. We had a pretty little balcony with views over the city rooftops. (And why should the staff speak anything but French? It added to the authenticity). We were extremely disappointed that the much advertised roof terrace was kept locked the whole time we were there (only one night- but we'd hoped for breakfast there, or at least a little look around). Very disappointingly, breakfast was served in a hot, stuffy, windowless little room on high stools and tiny tables which don't really work for small children.
Decor of hotel and helpful friendly staff. Also excellent location.
The hotel's roof terrace, the lovely decoration and the friendly staff. The bed was rather uncomfortable.
Staff extremely helpful and very pleasant, luckily we understand french. Very bohemian style hotel, and in very good condition. We were a bit worried when we arrived! Shower brill and they had a portable air conditioner which was well received as it was very hot. Our room had 2 double beds in it for us and our 2 daughters - perfect. Could of had a bit of ham and cheese for breakfast with our bread.
