Pros: We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. We had use of the kitchen and had our own lounge room to spend some time in. Very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast and lovely hosts. One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. Excellent value for money.
Cons: All good.
Pros: the owner was very helpful .breakfast was very good
When you stay at Château de Bonnemare in Radepont, you'll be in a regional park and 8 minutes by car from Notre-Dame de Fontaine-Guerard Abbey. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Super licatiin, historic and atmospheric rooms
Pros: A remarkable B&B in a chateau lovingly restored by the owners, who could not have been more welcoming. The breakfast, served in the original kitchen in front of a massive log fire, was excellent. In view of the remote location, it is worth booking a tray supper in advance. We loved it!
Pros: The property is in a huge chateau and so you have a huge yard as a bonus!
Pros: It is a magnificent property of great historical importance in a beautiful setting. Sylvie and Alain are wonderful hosts and phoned and booked restaurants for us and directed us to the best places to visit.
Cons: I gave top scores but the room we had was up a stone spiral staircase and in the bathroom was a bath with a shower over it. Both of these were difficult ,or in my husbands case with the bath impossible, for people in their 80’s . Another time I would opt for a ground floor room and one with a shower. My husband went three days unable to wash properly. However it was still a lovely place to stay.
Pros: Magical place , truly amazing
Cons: I loved everything about it
Pros: Awesomely historic. Felt so welcome we didn’t want to leave! Gorgeous breakfast with homemade and local produce. Highly recommend
Pros: Beautiful grounds and rooms; the owners were very helpful and make you feel like you are home.
Pros: Fantastic property with very friendly and hospitable owners. Enjoyed every minute of our staying here. Very comfortable and nicely decorated room with spacious and well equipped bathroom. Lovely two sides view - main entrance and another to English park. Tasty breakfast served in the ancient kitchen or dining room with large fireplace and utensils hanging on the walls. Recommend visiting. Wish to come back again
Pros: Overall our stay was short but we were very pleased. I wish we had more time to look around. The breakfast was very nice, and everyone was very helpful and kind.
Pros: The warmth of the welcome we received was wonderful. The house is a charming traditional Normandy home, and the owners are lovely. We opted to have dinner and it was served as it would have been in the best of restaurants, and was absolutely delicious- can thoroughly recommend eating here! The breakfast croissants, home made like all the other reads andjams, will spoil you for shop made ones forever. M And MmeMolardare very kind and gave us a souvenir of our stay and pot of his jam to take home. Our room was a cosy suite at the top of the house.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like! Maybe the stairs to our room- they’re quite steep for people with dodgy knees...
Pros: Great Normandy cottage in a quiet rural setting and excellent meals
Pros: We loved the xvii century farm with its beautiful garden and very welcoming couple.
Pros: Super friendly and helpful host even though they don't speak English. One of the cutest houses I've ever seen and the room is pretty too. The bathroom was excellent as well. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I was alone and I had enough food for probably 3 people. Lastly there is a lovely cat at the house who is very friendly. Cats usually don't like me but Alfred was a friendly host :)
Cons: Nothing major. The ceiling is low so be careful even if you are not tall.
Pros: This, our second visit to La Rosarie du Prieurs, was everything we had hoped for, a warm welcome, all comforts and delicious food, accompanied by excellent wines. On our arrival it was lovely to relax in the pretty garden with a cool refreshing drink in hand. As on our previous visit we received a gift of home made jams on our departure, a gesture greatly appreciated.
Cons: We were very happy with everything.
Pros: Excellent Normandy house facilities with superb food and outstanding service at a very reasonable price - absolutely ace experience and we hope to return.
Cons: Nothing at this price - everything was brilliant.
Pros: Everything. The area; the tranquility; the garden; the room. The food was amazing and Alex and Francoise were so hospitable. Absolutely nothing was too much for them. They definitely went the extra mile to make sure that our stay was the best it could be. Alex even took us on a tour around the area and he took us to a restoration garage with vintage and classics cars as he knew that we had a classic car and were there for an event. Brilliant.
Pros: Our hosts Francoise and Alex were lovely, welcoming, kind and generous, and treated us as if we were family. We booked an evening meal which was beautifully cooked and served by Alex. We are so glad we did as we didn't want to drive anywhere, and what he served could beat any top restaurant. Breakfast too was excellent. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. We wanted for nothing better.
Cons: Not something we didn't like exactly, but the room had a sloping roof over the bed making it a little difficult, but not a problem unless you suffer badly with your back. And another low beam: tall people needing to duck under. But all added to the charm of the old house.
Pros: All our needs were catered for. Our welcoming hosts took our luggage up to our room, showed us all the facilities then invited us to a refreshing drink on the terrace overlooking their beautiful garden. The evening meal , cooked by Monsieur, an ex chef and patissier was superb and the table was beautifully laid by Madame. Our aperitif was served in lovely Venetian glass flutes. After a good night’s sleep we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with home baked croissants, brioche, bread and gateau. There was also fresh fruit, ham, cheese and yoghurts. Madame provided home made jams with a difference. There were some unusual flavour combinations which worked well. On leaving we were presented with a little parting gift which was most welcome.
Cons: All was good.
Pros: The bed was comfy, the food was exceptionally good and the hosts could not have been more hospitable. It was just like staying with good friends. Our every need was catered for.
Pros: Very clean, friendly hosts, lovely breakfast. Free parking.
Pros: Very friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast.
Pros: Excellent room. Excellent breakfast, a little off our route but that was my mistake. A lovely place for a longer stay.
Pros: Great service and breakfast. Nice atmosphere, friendly people. Enough space in rooms and bathroom. Good quality in general.
Cons: You may have some problems if you do not speak/understand any french.
Pros: Lovely hosts
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Ran by a lovely couple who were very helpful. We were travelling with a baby so had a cold spread each evening - once inside in the main living area and once in the pretty garden. Convenient location to visit Rouen
Pros: We had a very comfortable nights stay. The hosts were very welcoming and, although my french is limited, we managed to communicate. The family rooms we had were immaculately clean. I cannot find fault, it was excellent value for money. Thank you.
Pros: Quite picturesque location
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful place, very closed to Rouen, with a big garden. The room where we slept was romantic and super cleaned but the most beautiful part of our journey was the owners. This beautiful couple is lovely! With a little money you can get a delicious continental breakfast served in the living room. A special mention to the owner for his vinerape figs, which were so juicy!
Pros: Our hosts were really accommodating and did all they could to make us as comfortable as possible
Pros: The Bed was fantastic and the location excellent
Cons: No TV. and poor breakfast only bread
Pros: Perfection. Lovely, welcoming Hosts. Charming little house as accommodation, with a very comfortable bed, superb bathroom, excellent breakfast in a delightful garden. Will definitely stay here again.
Pros: It was very pretty quaint clean and very spacious.
Cons: The bathroom was like a wet room and the floor got rather wet when I had a shower. There was also an uninvited spider in the bath.
Pros: A really nice room and bathroom. A very welcoming host. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet and handy for Lyons La Foret.
Pros: It was superb!!! If I could score it more than 10 I would! It was so cosy and comfortable. The hosts were lovely. Such wonderful attention to detail! A real gem!! I can't wait to return!!
Cons: We loved it all!!
Pros: One of the best B&B I have experienced so far. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts amazing and helpful. Big shout out to Nabou, the cute friendly big dog :)

Pros: Super welcoming hosts and the amazing Jacuzzi
Pros: Amazing experience - spacious room, very clean and cozy. Fresh breakfast and coffee were waiting for us when we woke up (even at 11 a.m. - not too often experience for the hotel). Owners were very friendly. Highly recommended !
Pros: Very friendly and helpful service. Breakfast is fine, typically French. Nice rural location Room very comfortable and in good condition/order
Cons: Not a comment on the property, but the location is a bit isolated, it was fine for us as we were going to a wedding near by, but you would have to have your own transport.
Pros: The hospitality, amazing surrounding
Pros: Hotel in a rural estate. Alone with nature. The presence of a massage bath in the room.
Cons: Unreasoned decision bathroom in the room. Insecurely low ceilings above the bed. Very poor breakfast.
Pros: A really good set up, having a share kitchen. The croissants and baguettes were the best we have had in France. Location was excellent for visiting such places as Monets Garden, Amiens and Rouen.
Pros: Beautiful Manor, very helpful and friendly host. We stayed as a family, plenty of space, kitchen facilities and lovely outdoor area. Would stay again.
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly hosts.
Cons: WIFI connection was bad

Pros: Very rustic and quaint. You really felt you were experiencing a piece of Normandy magic. The breakfast was absolutely delightful and we ate al fresco on the farmhouse lawn. It was perfectly placed to enjoy the picturesque village of lyons la foret-an absolute must!
Cons: Nothing-all good.
Pros: We appreciated being able to purchase farm produce to eat at our evening meal. Exceptional eggs! We liked the beams and feeling of age in our room. We appreciated the provision of a hairdryer and box of tissues Lovely surroundings and countryside
Cons: One or two small points - there was no shampoo, only shower gel. There was no spare toilet roll. The mattress dipped in the middle. We found the bedclothes were very heavy and would have preferred a duvet.
Pros: Location was beautiful - and would be worth exploring further, we were on a stop over - what we saw of Fleury and Lyons suggested a good getaway with a mix of activities (indoor and outdoor) - and just over 2 hours from Calais. The breakfast was excellent on quality and quantity, eggs fresh from the farm and great pastries / bread / preserves, fresh coffee / chocolate - even satisfied the teenage boys!
Pros: Food, location and atmosphere was great. Really short stay but was a perfect stop-over and would have stayed longer to experience the farm and locality.
Cons: Nothing, the host could not have been more helpful
Pros: Very comfortable. Lovely atmosphere. Roomy and very nice shower. Fantastic breakfast with delicious local produce. Quiet location. Beautiful area of France.
Cons: We liked everything.
Pros: The breakfast was lovely especially the fresh eggs from their hens. The host was very kind and we bought some goodies from her little shop.
Cons: We liked everything.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast. All local produce including their own. Farm shop too.
Pros: Very friendly welcome from pleasant lady owner. Good continental breakfast with croissants, bread, yoghourt, cheese, boiled eggs, jams, coffee, tea and local apple juice.
Cons: Quite a long way from a restaurant for evening meal and even further for a filling station.
Pros: Lovely host , great breakfast , good quiet location.
Pros: ...What a wonderful place! Fabulous location. Peaceful, beautiful and excellent value for money. The disabled accomodation was just perfect! FULLY wheelchair friendly.....amazing shower! Loved the communal kitchen/dining/social games area. Wonderfully friendly owners. Will definitely return and stay longer! We stayed in the disabled room...the beds we so comfortable!!
Cons: To be totally honest.....I find it hard to find fault! The plants on the window ledge looked half dead...but considering the summer we have had....it is understandable! I didn't like that fact we only stayed for two nights!
Pros: The property was very clean and the family suite was perfect was 2 adults and 3 children. The owners were super helpful and accommodating. We arrived later than expected due to car problems and they were so helpful in getting us settled in. Breakfast was also very nice. We would return.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find as the location map on bookings.com wasn't completely accurate- not far away but helpful if you ring the property in advance to clarify the location. The owners however were very helpful and came out to meet us at the gate to show us the way despite it being very late.
Pros: Superbe place. The hosts are very kind and accommodating.
Pros: Nice garden for the children to play in.
Cons: Very difficult to find. Don’t use sat nav!
Pros: Lovely welcome, very clean and secure, great breakfast and facilities

Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the service very good. The reception was very poor and unfriendly. No attempt was made to show us around the hotel and our rooms smelled musty and unaired. One of our rooms had a bottle of water but no tea and the other had tea but no bottled water. The pillows were old and lumpy and the duvets very heavy. We ate in the Bistro on the first night and the waiter was quite rude. The tables were uneven and the food was not at all good. The soup was cold and the fish was unpleasant.
Cons: Most things apart from the location!
Pros: Beautiful location and lovely bistro linked to hotel where we had an amazing meal.
Cons: Cold shower
Pros: Facilities were excellent and the location central to the town The dinner in the next door bistro was excellent
Cons: The quality of food and service at breakfast was poor on the first morning. The milk was sour (confirmed by the hotel ) and some of the croissants were stale. The clearing of the plates from the table was nonexistent. No help was offered with luggage to and from the car.
Pros: Picturesque setting
Cons: No air conditioning, no bar for any drinks in hotel , no mini bar Booked on booking .com as a 4 star Hotel is only a 3 star
Pros: Huge room that was perfect for us as we had our dog - might have been disappointing of you were expecting 4 star luxury
Cons: No choice at dinner was offered, food was OK but not amazing or 1 star quality. The queue for the coffee machine at breakfast was a joke.
Cons: Room noisy Staff at spa non existent to unhelpful Restaurant woefully understaffed but one waitress did an amazing job Breakfast unexciting
Pros: breakfast was poor: too many people for too little staff, only one coffee machine for almost 80 guests, not enough plates etc.. a shame as very nice premises and friendly albeit skeletal staff
Cons: dinner was in a nice setting and a very attentionate staff; food was ok but in no way close to what is expected from a Michelin star.
Pros: Beautiful buildings and location.
Pros: THE RESTAURANTS BOTH OF THEM THE SPA THE STAFF THE SCENERY AT LYONS LA FORET LOVED IT ALL
Cons: THE SERVICE AT LE BISTRO CAUSE THE STAFF WAS LOST AND DIDN'T UNDERSTAND YOUR COMMANDS
Pros: Fantastic weekend break, very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast outstanding on both days.
Cons: No walk in shower, just hand held spray in small bath.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.
Cons: Food a little overpriced. The location was a bit isolated.
Pros: Welcoming property, with plenty of parking, good sized rooms and access to garden and restaurant. WIFI good. Restaurant was of a reasonable quality, but a limited choice.
Pros: Bathroom was big and equipped, location nice and quiet
Cons: No coffee in the room price should include some type of breakfast, room was very outdated. On site restaurant is expensive and there is nothing around.
Pros: Lovely rural and quiet location. Lovely meal from a choice of set menus starting at €19. Well equipped room.
Cons: NO MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL. Resolved by wifi but could have been a problem without a smart phone. Room generally clean but under table and bed very dusty.
Pros: The facilities were excellent, unlike some of the reviews, I could not find any faults with the place
Pros: A Freshly prepared meals available. Very pleasant host.
Cons: Certainly not a complaint, but maybe the basic breakfast a little expensive.
Pros: Lovely meal at a good price Excellent wine but a little expensive.
Cons: No heating in room this morning
Pros: Clean and fresh room.. awesome scenery in the town. Quiet and peaceful
Cons: Didn't like the New York theme on walls .. I came for a France experience. Lighting in bathroom wasnt good for applying make up.
Set in a half-timbered building, this B&B is situated in Lyons-la-Forêt in the Haute Normandie region. It offers free Wi-Fi access and guests are free to relax on the garden, which offers outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities. Located on the first floor, the guest room features a sloped ceiling and exposed wooden beams and offers views of the garden. It includes an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. A continental breakfast with freshly baked bread and pastries is served every morning at L’Escapade de Marijac. Rouen-Vallée de Seine Airport is 27 km away and Giverny House is 49 km from the B&B.
Pros: Very cosy room, very clean, nice location, all amenities are available, nice hosts & breakfast.
Cons: Impossible to sleep (for me), there's basically no obscurity (no dark curtains or shutters). As soon as the sun rises you'll be awake.
Pros: A wonderful welcome from the hosts. The room is full of character and has modern facilities. Oleg our host is so interesting to talk to and there are many books available in the room to browse through and to learn a little more about the area. Breakfast was delivered to our door. The room is on the edge of the village with a 10 minute walk to the centre of Lyons-la-Fôret which is charming. All in all a delightful stay.
Pros: Bed comfortable. Mini kitchen with microwave, fridge, cake and drinks.
Pros: Very nice breakfast brought to the room. We liked our total independence ,having a kitchenette in the room was very useful. It is wel situated in a very quiet environment and within walking distance to the beautiful village center.
Pros: I enjoyed the warm welcome and brief family history, although I only stayed one night. Breakfast ok, plenty in the fridge for my stay.
Cons: My major disatisfation was with the bed - I’ve read past reviews mentioning how awful it is ( squeaking and mattress too soft) so would really appreciate it if something is done about it. I would definitely have stayed elsewhere had I read the reviews earlier. For 94€/ night I would have appreciated more comfort.
Pros: Peaceful relaxing and everything fresh
Cons: Few cobwebs in corners- but it is country and I really don’t like spiders
Pros: The owners were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. It was just that the accommodation was smaller than expected .
Cons: Getting out of bed in the middle of the night and trying to negotiate the beams before we knocked ourselves out!!
Pros: The special bakery order for breakfast based on our choices. The room was very comfortable and we were made to feel really welcome. The village is beautiful with everything in walking distance. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing, all very easy.
Pros: Orlek and Shirley were the perfect hosts. Orlek a very proud man, shared his family history (very interesting) and information regarding the local area, history during the war years (resistance) and the work being done to preserve the memories and heroic action during that time. The room was delightful, breakfasts straight from the bakery with lovely home made jam. On the last morning we had to depart very early, Orlek went out of his way to provide breakfast before our departure, perfect. A truly delightful stay, too short, we will return.
Cons: Everything was lovely
Pros: Old world atmosphere and very kind and helpful owners who went out of their way to assist in all respects.Kitchenette was stocked with all necessities and numerous extra food items.
Cons: The room was smaller than it appeared on the internet but comfortable.
The Les Lions de Beauclerc provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
Pros: We booked this hotel several months ago and upon arrival you find that there are now one of 3 hotels you might be placed in
Cons: We were walked up the road from reception and give what can only be described as staff rooms or store rooms badly converted in the attic of a 3 storey building The room was dirty - had broken items in the bathroom shelf / bath plug etc - hot and clamy - no view apart from a roof velux - no secondary fire route out When I asked for a replacement room there wasn’t one but the hotel manager / owner who was contacted on the phone in front of me would not make himself available until after I was due to leave and refused to offer a reduction or cancel the room fee so we could go elsewhere
Pros: Period property in pretty village.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable which affected our stay
Pros: Very nice room, very good restaurant, excellent breakfast
Cons: My French! It was rather confusing,as to book in you go to another hotel with a different name and your room is down the street!
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Practically shut down. No staff. No other hotel guests except for us! The place was deserted. Had to go to another hotel to check-in. Then escorted back to hotel to be let into building. Had to walk back to other hotel for breakfast in the morning! We had the entire building just to ourselves. No security. Didn’t even see a sample detector! Building was very warm, surface mounted heating pipes were hot! But radiators were turned off, but still it was enough to heat the building when temperature outside was 24’C. Waited 20 mins+ for someone at the ‘other’ hotel to take any interest in us during Check-in. Honestly, I don’t think they could care less if we stayed or left. Not my best French Hotel experience.
Pros: Comfortable bed, staff very efficient and kind and helpful. Lovely breakfast Everything high quality Very suitable for a lady travelling alone who doesn't speak the language
Pros: Staff was very friendly and location was superb
Cons: Breakfast should have more variety.
Pros: Very difficult to obtain room key from related hotel 100m away. Staff didn’t know what was going on. Nice enough village but poor facilities - nothing open and unhelpful people.
Cons: Unhelpful people in small village. Wouldn’t be bothered to visit again.
Pros: We liked the house and its position. But it seems to have been taken over by La Licorne. Check in and breakfast (which was excellent but expensive) all happened there. Only dinner was at Les Lions itself. Staff were very pleasant, but largely away at La Licorne,
Cons: It felt a bit empty as explained above
Pros: quaint village- quiet location
Cons: The outside staircase was creaking and had a loose step( 2nd or 3 rd from the top) it felt unsafe Details were not clear about where reception was to check in.
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When enjoying a glass of wine outside of our room, an employee brought us nice glasses, ice and a small dish of crackers to enjoy. He went out of his way to make our time enjoyable.

The nearest airport is Paris Beauvais-Tille Airport, 69 km from the hotel.
Pros: Staff were very helpful although we knew no french and they understood little english. They even set up a TV in out room the same evening. Nice open spaces around the property with a pond (which is fenced).
Cons: an industrial are just across a small not so beautiful stream right behind the place- but it is sort of well hidden.
Cons: Shower was broken, a little piece missing...
With a stay at Campanile Rouen Est - Franqueville Saint Pierre in Franqueville-Saint-Pierre, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Rouen Cathedral and Centre d'Histoire Sociale. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Franqueville-Saint-Pierre? This hotel has facilities measuring 269 square feet (25 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Stayed here several times in the past four years. Good value for money and friendly staff.
Cons: Noise from the road, needs double glazing. Bedrooms need air conditioning to work adequately
Pros: We always choose Campanile and never been disappointed before. This room and evening did not live up to expectations.
Cons: Sink drain leaked though the bathroom was a proper wet room so not the end of the world. Big issue was we could not get air unit to chill on a warm night so a very uncomfortable night. Worse still was being in a room in the middle of a coach load of Chinese pensioners who were incredibly loud and we were in the room at the bottom of the staircase so unavoidable that they continually disturbed us - I would have swapped them for a coach load of French school children anytime.
Pros: Location was good for our trip. Supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: Room was extremely hot!!!!!!!! We assumed that the room had air conditioning as every other campanile we have stayed in had. The photos showed the control unit and you could see the vents. This is the main reason we chose campanile as an overnight stay on our road trip. PLEASE BE AWARE THE ROOMS DO NOT HAVE ANY AIR CONDITIONING. the reception said its been broken for 4 months and is unrepairable. A very uncomfortable night was had.
Cons: The room smelled, the bed was uncomfortable
Pros: Clean, plenty of parking and friendly
Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t working properly
Pros: Location in city, easy to find and easy to get back on the motorway.
Cons: nothing, fair price for the room.
Pros: Good value and clean - ideal for a stopover
Cons: Do not eat in the attached restaurant. The food is terrible.
Pros: Tipical cheap French hotel but clean and conveniant. Breakfast was good.
Cons: Restaurant was busy with German coach party, no locap options at all. So we had wine and cheese in our room.
Pros: Good location for people with cars
Cons: Too strong odor of some strong cleaning aid.
Pros: Need more pillows please.
Cons: Road noise
Pros: friendly staff and good restaurant
Cons: slightly difficult to find if used as we did, as a transit stop , quite difficult to get back on motorway, as turn offs are not well sign posted and at extremely busy junction in city centre not for feight hearted!
Pros: The staff were helpful in that we booked a room for 3 over the internet for our children and arrived having driven across france for 10 hours to be told they didnt have a room for 3 available, and that they often had problems with internet booking. They pulled a mattress into the room to accomodate.
Cons: Dreadful internet booking service.
Pros: Very clean and fresh. Good online price.
Cons: Reception staff spoke very little English. Did not get what I was promised on the website, namely that I could have an extra bed in the room for free for my 9 yr old child. Hotel staff had no idea about this despite my request clearly shown on my booking invoice and the information that this was indeed the case.
Pros: Very helpful and sympathetic receptionist. Very clean rooms. Free wifi.
Pros: very quiet and close to vital amenities
Cons: the three bedroom room was inadequately prepared for a third person no pillow or duvet . also had to set up the bed myself and the room was a standard size so third bed blocked access to teh fromt door or bathroom yes I booked this hotel via a representative who had asked the hotel or understood from teh hotel tha the rooms would be adjoining and next to each other. When I got there this was not so and the rooms were only on top of each other i.e you had to walk 100 metres to the stairs and walk back so as such were not next to each other
Cons: the room was smelly, fag smoke, the air conditioning system had a musty smell
Pros: Nice room, clean
Cons: the scent of previous smokers in the room
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Only one member of staff was friendly (morning member of staff), The room was dirty with cigarette end in bin. Single bed was broken, also the bedside table broken, We had a connecting door in our room which was not locked and asked a member of staff to check it but was not checked. Have stayed at Campanielle all over Europe and this was by far the worst. Will not be staying at these hotels again
Pros: We were delayed by 6 hours due to a problem with Eurotunnel, I phoned them and they gave me the gate code and couln't be more helpful.
Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful
Cons: We were disappointed to discover that because the hotel was fully booked there was not even 1 spare pillow. One of our party needed to keep his upper body raised and to do this we had to fold up blankets and bed covers.
With a stay at Hôtel Le Grand Cerf & Spa Nuxe in Lyons-la-Foret, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Mortemer Abbey and Château de Fleury-la-Forêt. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location. Spacious room.
Cons: Room not very clean, a lot of dust. SPA Nuxe was terrible ! Dirty and too crowded. No shampoo in the shower and no hair drier.
Pros: beautiful place, nice room, good bed, good bathroom, wonderful location, delicious breakfast, spa was good and the village is lovely
Cons: we stayed at the hotel in summer time and it was really hot. we know that small village's hotels don't use to have air conditioning, but at least a fan was essential. if we decided to close the window, no fresh air and very warm, and oppening the window we could listen the voices of everyone at the restaurant and at the street.
Pros: Beautiful location and property with lovely character. friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spa witf great facilities
Cons: The property really needs a hotel bar, there is not a lot to do in the town and there are three restaurants in the complex if one was a bar it would provide somewhere to relax outside the room. Some maintenance issues, i cleared the shower jets thereby making the shower usable. The top room really needs a fan as it gets very warm. The menu in the bistrot is limited and unchanging so if you are staying half board means you will robably have to have the same evening meal every night,
Pros: Top notch service , they are super hyper nice! The pool area and super clean and comfy and warm. The room the super charming and delicious half board both at breakfast as dinner
Pros: The location was excellent, couldn’t be better. We needed to check out extra early to catch our flight and the staff brought us a bag of fruit and busicuts each and provided coffee cups, coffee and a kettle to enable us to have something before we left. As we did not get to take advantage of the breakfast included.
Cons: There should be coffee facilities provided in each room.
Pros: The hotel is beautifully restored, however, our room was quite small and up two flights of stairs. There was no offer to help with our bags. The spa was lovely and the staff there excellent. We ate a the restaurant for a sister hotel which was quite good. Lyons-la-Foret is a beautiful little town.
Cons: The room was small with no room for our suitcases. The check in staff was borderline unfriendly, though later shifts showed an improvement.
Pros: The location is superb. This really is the prettiest village in France that we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was very good and the staff very attentive
Cons: There is no lift and the winding staircase was steep. We were on the 2nd floor and certainly not suitable for anyone disabled. Our room was small and the separate toilet didn't have a hand basin which wasn't good for night visits

Pros: Good value for overnight stop. Room was clean. It was easy to check in at Ibis next door.
Pros: Staff were good, very clean hotel good size shower plenty hot water very quiet
Cons: The pillows are a bit thin and you only get one each
Pros: We arrived really late but a member of staff was waiting for us to help us with the payment. Thank you!
Pros: Breakfast very good, There was a bar for the main Hotel we could use.. Parking was good and free. Value for money. Clean.
Cons: Very basic
Pros: The breakfast was great, continental style make your own eggs. Full belly before getting a few miles under our belts.
Pros: Price, clean rooms, parking
Cons: Rooms very basic
Pros: Very modern and clean
Cons: It doesn’t have elevator
Pros: Breakfast was fine
Cons: We booked for the Ibis 3 star with a twin room & breakfast. Yet we ended up being booked into the Ibis Budget which adjoins the same hotel. We were traveling and so did not notice that your confirmation was for the Ibis Budget. Had we seen it in time we would have cancelled. We like normal Ibis Hotels but not the budget ones. Not clear when the booking is switched. Will avoid Ibis in future
Pros: Well designed shower. Next door to McDonalds and a petrol station. Staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: An exceptionaly hot evening and no air conditioning made it difficult to sleep. If a bug screen was on the window it could have been left open.
