Pros: The location, cleanliness and hospitality were great. José was a great host and Valentina’s availability and friendliness were great too.

Pros: The owner was the friendliest host you can possibly imagine!
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!
Pros: We liked everything about Quinta Reforma! It is the third time and it won’t be the last. Peaceful yet within easy reach to the town. Comfy and spotless. It is equipped with everything one may need. A homely place. The Owner and caretaker are friendly, professional, always charming and most attentive to detail. The Owner even kindly opened the delicious saltwater pool three days before so that we could enjoy it. Reasonable value for money. We highly recommend!
Cons: There is nothing we don’t like.
Pros: The place and the owner, just great
Pros: The location is a family farm/house, fully decorated with past memories of the family. The owner and the housekeeper are very nice and friendly, very friendly and always worried about our comfort and needs The place is very quiet and yet handily close by to a city and highway. The facilities are complete, you can cook your own meals, store fresh food, bathe in the swimming pool.
Cons: The water heating for showers could be improved as it's very unstable The room can get very hot in summer warm days.
Pros: The owner was extremely kind from the very beginning. The breakfast was really good! We will certainly come back.

Pros: Enjoyed our brief stay here – good stop off on way to Lisbon. Welcoming owner (Jose) met us on arrival. Nice room, cool despite 30 plus temperatures. Lovely garden for sitting out reading, with small swimming pool. Our satnav struggled a bit but easy to find on main road by a junction. Very quiet as very long driveway to an interesting house
Pros: Hospitality, Peace, Tranquillity, Excellent staff and an Amazing Host who went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable experience. Thank you Jose for opening up your home and heart to our family and sharing with us the full extent of true Portuguese hospitality.. ..the Jose way!
Pros: We booked our stay for just one night and ended up staying for 6 more. Beautiful and comfortable place to relax and enjoy learning the History of its foundation. You are welcomed by Natasha and Dana in a professional and friendly manner that makes you feel like a frequent customer. We felt as friends when we left a week later. The owner, Mr Alberty, is a well known personality in the area and is very much involved in the promotion and improvement of the Local tourism so, you will get your suggestions seriously taken into consideration. A very welcoming Host with whom I ended up having interesting conversations with. The breakfast is light but delicious with its excellent coffee, local bread and juices. The rooms and their exquisite features and elegant design, the common areas and bedrooms filled with pieces of past rich History almost stimulating your imagination and interest on your way to the breakfast room or bed for a relaxing sleep. The garden and its great variety of trees and flowers allow you to hear the songs of a few of the 18 registered bird species in that garden as well as the relaxing sound of the crickets either during the day or at night, which are always a guarantee of the distance of the city life one hopes for at a place like the Quinta de Coalhos. With regards to its location, if you do struggle with this, just ask Natasha, on a phone call to Quinta de Coalhos, to send their location on your "WhatsUp" app. However, once in Abrantes you should also follow the "Rural Tourism" plates you will find along the way and you will get there faster than your worrying mind may think. Enjoy your stay there. We certainly did.
Cons: We just have to complain to Apollo. The Sun was wild this week!!!!!

Pros: Jose was a very good host, totally took care of us and even arranged a driver to an amazing restaurant he recommended! The breakfast was very nice. Everything was very clean! The room in the main building was perfect, bed was firm which I really like!

Pros: The views from the dining room are great and the staff are helpful. Breakfast was very average and would suggest getting to the dining room early before things run out and not replenished.
Cons: Breakfast was a little disappointing for what I was expecting. We got to the dining room a half hour before breakfast ended and most of the cakes etc were finished and not being replenished. Coffee was in a flask and not hot. Very average to be honest. We also decided to have diner at the hotel and although the prices were reasonable for both food and drinks, the quality of the food was below average. Vegetables were overdone and then fried/covered in olive oil and were not crisp. I thought they may have been pre-cooked and then fry-warmed before serving. Both starters and our mains were disappointing and way too much oil drizzle over everything. About a 4/10 for the diner
Pros: Beautiful area, very comfortable rooms with excellent view. Breakfast is rich and good.
Pros: For the wedding night, they have upgrade us for suite and allow us with late check out...awesome Great place for a lovely weekend with a really nice view...

Pros: A very unique hotel. We'll worth visiting if you are touring Portugal.
Pros: The main house was fascinating and most unusual. The one member of staff was helpful and friendly with very good English. The room in the annexe was very suitable for our dogs.
Cons: The grounds were a wilderness and run down. The photos on the internet were taken when it as in a better time. The annexe did not have wifi and the TV although old would have worked but the cable to the aerial had been cut outside.
Pros: Very agreeable location, nice staff.
Cons: TV in room never worked while we stayed in the property.
Pros: The property is an 18th century oil press mill retaining its ancient architectural characteristics. It has an amazing feel and look. The architecture of the property as well as its objects has been preserved pristinely
Cons: Nothing. It suited us perfectly. In fact the photos of the outside area do not accurately reflect the state of the property. The grassed area has not been maintained however this did not bother us. The mill will undergo renovation during the next few months and will eventually reflect what is now posted on the site.
Pros: Beautiful house!! Including period furniture, marble stairs and even a chapel!
Cons: Couldn't pay with a credit card.
Pros: This was a old building that's why it's called Solar
Cons: The building needs repairing and the outside needs more cleaning

Pros: friendly staff and nearby cafeteria
Cons: no comment
Pros: No frills, but good value for the price. Staff were very helpful.
Cons: Nothing, it was as expected
Cons: Not clean
Pros: I found the staff very helpful.
Cons: It was difficult to communicate with the hotel. The booking.com website and the notice at the hotel entrance indicated 24 hour access. Although I turned up as planned between 5 and 6pm on 5th March there was no-one there at 5.25, and no response on either telephone number given on the door. I was very relieved when the staff finally appeared at 6pm. It's sensible to be realistic with guests about staff availability. I quite understand it''s impossible to be oresent for 24 hours.
Pros: Hotel is run by a nice family Room was basic but did the job
Pros: The cot provided for my kid was good. They also looked for a high chair adapter for mu kid to have breakfast with us. Top notch personal!!!
