The service is impeccable. The restaurant is good. The hotel is functional.. No charm whatsoever. Accessing my room was quite disorienting having to zigzag through corridors. The hotel is clinical but unfortunately totally charmless.
The wellness area was nice. The Keller bar was too smokey for my taste.
Splendid. Postcard views. Incredible facilities. Business center. Free parking. Free internet. Great breakfast. If you are in Zurich and have a car do not pay through you nose for a substandard hotel. Travel 50 minutes and do your self a big favor and stay here.
Clean, quite and confotable Everything was OK
The food was nice enough. The breakfast is good. The general appearance of the hotel is fine. The wireless access is not there from the cheaper rooms. I was forced to upgrade by paying 47CHF more a night so I could be in a room with wireless access as I needed it. All 3 of my internet enabled devices could not connect from the original room I booked. When I queried them about getting a discount on the newer room due to them not delivering the service they said they could all they could say is the other guests can connect no problem.
the breackfast the shower and wc room
The Hotel was well furnished. I Ioved the wood interior. The restaurant was welcoming and the breakfast was extensive with plenty of choice. The room was comfortable and roomy and I ws not bothered that there was no en-suite. Thanks for a great stay Nothing to complain about
The restaurant is superb and it is directly across the square from the fabulous monastery at Einsiedeln. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel quiet and charming.
Very nice staff, we were warmly welcomed. Very comfortable bed. Excellent view from our room. Great breakfast with nice variety and pleasant breakfast room. Sink in our room (we knew we had reserved a room with a shared bathroom. Other hotels in the area were not coming up in our search, so we thought this was about the only one available). Some local people were very impressed when we told them that we were staying at Hotel Linde, as they talked very highly of the place. We're guessing that we just happened to receive the one room that had us scratching our heads about why the price was quite comparable to other 3 star hotels we'd stayed at. We were only in Einsiedeln for one night. Otherwise would have asked to change rooms. For the price compared to other 3 star hotels, were surprised at small room; had to leave luggage in the car and only bring in our carry-on. We knew we reserved a room with shared bathroom in the hall but were surprised at the basket full of used bars of hotel soap. Room did have a sink with clean bar of hotel soap. Hair dryer blew fuse in our room, then in shared bathroom. (Has never happened to me before). Husband took shower in pitch black. They didn't turn lights back on but kindly gave me hair dryer and was able to dry hair in hallway without blowing fuse. Explaining answer to next questions: would recommend but be sure to clarify what you are paying for. Most reviews in other languages, so could not read.
I was suprised on Hotel's staff friendliness and welcome approach, as well as the pleasure to use next-door spa for free!!
Nice and clean room.
tHey allow you to bring pets ( i.e. dog )
n/a poor breakfast, rooms are not very comfortable, not notified in advance that we had to move the next day.
The hotel is in what seems to be a sleepy little town about half an hour away from the main city, Zug, and you have to take two buses from the hotel to get there. The ride takes about half an hour one way, and the buses dont run very late or frequent. However, this does not necessarily have to be a problem. The beautiful scenery is well worth it...you have a lake to yourself and the soothing sound of the cow bells on the mountainsides. And although there can be some noise from the trucks that pass, you soon block this out. When it comes to eating, you better stack up in Zug....there does not seem to be much food places in Morgarten.
the position overlooking the lake was great. There was a great childrens playground there.the restaurant was good but expensive like other swiss restaurants. It was three flights of stairs up to our room and there was no lift.
The beautiful Lake side view and panoramic mountains view. Very quite place for relaxation No reception, no staff to refair to during our stay, no manager in charge
Very nice location and very nice hotel. I admired Morgarten. Wonderful place. Breakfast is a little bit poor but the rest are perfect. There is no internet connection in the rooms. But anyhow you can find internet at the local area in the hotel. Otelin oldugu mekan yanı morgarten cok nefis bir yer. Oralara yolunuz duserse mutlaka gorun. Manzaraya ve temiz havaya doyamayacaksınız. Oltanızı da yanınızda goturmeyi unutmayın :). Poor breakfast and there is no internet connection in the rooms.
The location is excellent, right across from the Einsiedeln monastery. Rooms are simple but clean and staff were very helpful. Great value for travelling in Switzerland in August. Was able to walk in the mountains and nearby lake, very impressive surroundings.
Good food at the restaurant and at breakfast The cleanliness due to the fact that the hotel is old and everything is a little bit worn. A lot of noise during the night because of the church bells. The hotels 2 stars correspond to what you get.
We enjoyed the view of the church, the restaurant and the proximity to everything we wanted. The room was too cold for us.
OK for the money. The room and the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. Free WiFi makes things easier. The room was small.
Excellent location overlooking Klosterplatz in Einsiedeln. Very good quality and value for money
Good price. Very nice restaurant, including breakfast. Nice room. I would change the old carpeting on the walls of the hallways (we were on the top floor); white paint would be better. However, our room was very nice, and the restaurant is great.
