The BEST WESTERN Hotel de Dieppe is well renowned around Normandy for its specialty called
The hotel is in a central location and easy to find by car
Immediate impression was the helpfulness of staff. Slight problem with room (double rather than twin) but quickly sorted with minimum of fuss and delay. Thereafter any help/information needed was pleasantly provided.
Pleasant bar but exhorbitant price for drinks.
the restaurant was brilliant and we liked the fact that the hotel is a venue and restaurant used by locals as well as travellers and tourists. I wish we had known on the first night that this was the place to go in Rouen as the city was quiet in the evening but the hotel was buzzy.
it would be good to be able to make a cup of tea in our room. Also a handrail in the bath would be useful as my husband slipped-hence we left a rather wet bathmat used to mop up the floor!
Room was very warm and there were no screens on the windows so we had flies in the room. Hotel is very dated and needs updating.
Bathroom was old, shabby carpet and beds. No lift and hey told us we were on the "2nd floor" but due to the configuration of the hotel, we had to go up a lot of steps with our luggage.
Lovely room overlooking a sometimes noisy street.
We arrived very early and the staff were very helpful and got us a room well before check in time.
Parking is availible but a little way from the hotel
the facilities; this was not in my view a 3-star hotel
Friendly staff at desk.
The Breakfast Service is too poor. I suggest to include a wide vareity of French cheese to menu and Boiled or Fried eggs as well. and a class od fresh water beside the fruite juice.
