Loved everything g about it
The building and ambiance is incredible. Their decorations at Christmas are a sight to see. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The restaurants and bars at the hotel were truly outstanding. The check in and check out was horrendous. If the building wasn't so nice, that would be enough not to come back. The employees at the front desk weren't the most pleasant of people to interact with.
For cost of hotel they should have free WiFi in rooms
needed a little getaway and MI did not disappoint more towels at the pool
Our stay would have been perfect if we hadn't been assigned a room above the event hall. The music was so loud that the floor was vibrating below us intermittently from 6pm to modnight and we could hear every song, every scream, every time the DJ said something. I wanted to take a bath and knew I wouldn't actually be able to relax. We wanted to watch a movie but had a hard time hearing the television when the music came on. I went to bed early with ear plugs in. We called the front desk several times and they said they were unable to move us and unable to give us a refund so we could check into another hotel. My boyfriend took on the brunt of the conversations and he became super upset. I could feel his blood pressure had gone up when I held his hand. Though unable to offer us a solution they were very generous in their attempts to make our stay a positive one. They comped valet and also dinner at the hotel restaurant. The next morning we were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool. I would definitely stay here again but not on a weekend probably and I would absolutely call ahead of time to make sure there's no large events happening that include a DJ. Very, very loud music at wedding. It felt like our room was above a club.
a most beautiful property. so many artifacts from so many different parts of the world. several restaurants on the property. the staff are helpful and polite. very early in the morning there was work being done outside my room that woke me up and lasted for at least an hour and a half. that was very annoying.
Loved everything especially the spa and personal service.
Shower didn't work. Didn't have time to wait around for it to be fixed.
The Mission Inn is a beautiful, historic hotel located in downtown Riverside, Ca. The lobby and restaurants are lovely. The hotel staff is courteous and accommodating. The carpet throughout the facility appeared old and dirty, especially on the stairs behind the registration desk. The rooms definitely need freshening up. NOT what I expected for more than 200.00 per night. I was disappointed.
Staff was amazingly nice and everything made you feel on vacation. I was charged over $200 in "authorization fees" even after I had checked out and when I called to find out what it was for they told me they didn't know and it "should" clear within the next few days.
The room was a nice size. Two things I didn't like about my stay was paying for Internet. And they said I could only have one device on the Internet. I have a smartphone and a computer. It would have helped to both use Wifi. The other thing was they started cleaning the carpets for a room 2 doors down for the room I was in at 8:30 in the morning. Not a big deal but I was trying to sleep in and the machine was right outside my door. It was very loud. However, when I mentioned it upon checking out, they comped the Internet. So it made me feel better.
Very clean, friendly staff, easy access to parking & local businesses. Would definitely stay again.
The room was clean and spacious. The location was convenient.
Only good thing is the proximity to downtown. We were woken up at 6 a.m by a fire alarm they couldn't turn off for over 30 minutes on my boyfriend birthdat (reason for the stay). After leaving the room for the day and coming back at 6 p.m we noticed the house keepers never even came. When we called the front desk to let thme know the situation wasn't addressed nor did they offer a solution. Plus we paid 24 dollars a night for self parking. Terrible time and accommodations at the Hyatt. Such a shame we will not be returning to this hotel.
Room layout We were upgraded Spacious room Pillow top bed that I could not get into. Glasses with the ice bucket were not wrapped at all and water spotted
The hotel was generally clean in common areas and the room itself. Not luxurious, but very functional. We booked 2 queen beds and unapologetically were told only a single King was a available. I would have booked a different hotel and skipped the Hyatt. I got barely an apology and had a very unpleasent night in a room not suitable for my family.
The staff were really friendly. We ordered food from the restaurant downstairs and it was the most disgusting food hours can eat.
I've stayed here several times now and always enjoy my stay. I was surprised and disappointed to discover that they started charging for overnight parking. I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't allow someone to park there for free.
Very comfortable beds. Surprisingly clean and modern. Very happy with the stay.
Very clean, new-feeling, well-appointed rooms. Excellent, smooth bed linens. Great bedding: the only time I can recall any hotel's blankets being heavy enough! Also very nice that breakfast was included, tho' it was carbs only. Coffee was good. Would have been perfect with the addition of (even) hard-boiled eggs. Being right across from the ice machine & the office's night window (Rm. 17), it was too noisy if I left my window open. Was ok with the A/C running & window closed, though. Bed was a little too firm for my taste, but the great bedding more than made up for that.
beds! very restful sleep room size is very small
Super clean, close to nightlife, newly remodeled smaller rooms/bathrooms
