Pros: The bed was firm and comfy. The breakfast was the best BB breakfast in recent memory. Roomy, quaint, interesting antiques on display, and oh did I mention the bed was perfect for resting after a day of hiking Grafton Notch State Park. Nice, breezy porch, and lots of little extra touches that made the stay relaxing. There is also a grocery store across the street too!
Cons: You know there were one or two things that hadn't been renovated completey but John mention that became the owner last year, and there were big fixes that had to be completed, and tat they were knocking out the little ones now. So, no big.
Pros: The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating,
Cons: The bed and breakfast facility was not worth the price. I know all the hotels around Sunday River are expensive but I felt ripped off. The bed was not comfortable. The shower was so tiny. I wish they just had normal breakfast choices. The parking lot is so small we almost got side swiped. It was very old and the entire bathroom smelled like pee.
Holidae House Bed & Breakfast features a free ski shuttle and puts you near winter activities like downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Guests can indulge in massages or mani/pedis. Rooms at this Victorian bed & breakfast get the details right with MP3 docks, Egyptian cotton sheets, and down comforters.
Pros: The hotel is situated in some of the most beautiful countryside in the US. The Inn at the Rostay has some of the friendliest and outgoing staff I have ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast was made to order and incredible.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the bed in my room. It was very uncomfortable. I don't know what the other rooms are like.
Pros: Great homey feel and breakfast
Pros: The breakfast was made to order and good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.
Cons: Rooms were a little small and dated, but this place was good.
Pros: Great breakfast! Great staff! Comfy, cozy room. Hot tube was a nice bonus!
Cons: All good!
Pros: Less expensive alternative to other places to stay. There is a firendly staff, hot made to order breakfast in the morning. Pleasant enough that I'd stay again when I'm back in the area.
The rooms are in a motel that is separate from the building that is pictured.
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: The room wasn't what I expected for the price.
Pros: Everyone was incredibly nice. We checked in late and they accommodated us. Everything was very clean. Included breakfast was solid.
Pros: Friendly staff. Proximity to Sunday River. Cute themed rooms.
I would definitely stay there again. Any season will be good. It's very comfortable and cozy.
Pros: I love the classic theme. It felt very cozy and comfortable. Has everything that I need. Great location near Sunday River. Free breakfast too.
Cons: Just the cable TV would blur out occasionally. It was a clear day.
Pros: The free, full breakfast
Cons: No change machine in laundry room-had to go to front desk to obtain change for the dryer.
Close to ski resorts, yummy breakfast, and very nice staff. Definitely a nice place to stay!
Pros: Extremely pleasant staff
Cons: Beds were slightly hard and uncomfortable but nothing that would deter us from staying there again
When you stay at The Inn at the Rostay, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of 9 and 2. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, along with onsite snowmobiling. A seasonal outdoor pool and a terrace are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Hotel profits from spectacular environment. Would think long and hard about another visit notwithstanding the $50 room credit offered for the wedding disruption.
Pros: Overrated, aging hotel. Old wing needs work. Price much too high for value received.
Cons: Wedding event at hotel was loud and disruptive with wedding guests running through the halls at 2 a.m.

Pros: Old Victorian house with lots of small public rooms, original floors, fireplaces; quite beautiful. Our room was spacious, warm, and done in the Victorian style.
Cons: Carpeting was a bit tired, and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hall. Could use a bit of updating.
