Pros: Lovely and comfortable home. Comfortable bed and very clean. Vaunt and Martin are wonderful and welcoming hosts, with a delicious breakfast. The home is close to PEI National Park and a 20-ish minute drive to Charlottetown.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vaunda and Martin were amazing! This was the first time we have ever stayed in a bed and breakfast. We were so shy. By the end we were blown away. Delicious premium HOMEMADE breakfast every morning. And by homemade I mean homemade bread, homemade jam, homemade muffins - even made with fruit from their garden. This all came alongside delicious varieties of eggs and protein. Yogurt and berries as well. They leave the light on for you at night. They make sure you are comfortable. They let you be as interactive or as private as you would like. We literally felt like family in the end. We will be back to PEI and we will definitely be staying at Northside again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Overall, we felt that it was worth the relatively low cost, and we were happy about that. The hosts were friendly and breakfast was quite good.
Cons: This one is a little difficult to describe, but most places offer a feeling of privacy. The door to our room opened directly into their main living room, so I sort of felt like I was staying in Johnny's room while he's away at college. When I'd open the door, the couple was sitting right there watching TV. I'm sure that after many years of doing this, it's normal to them, but I couldn't help but feel like I was intruding on their home life.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

Pros: Beautifully kept Inn with excellent attention to detail providing comfort and convenience. We were delightfully surprised to presented with breakfast packed for the road on the morning of our early departure, thank you!
Cons: Not a thing!
5.8 Okay
Cons: Too noisy Not so customer oriented Professional but not warm and hospitable. Side door way to noisy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, breakfast, room, staff and location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, close walking distance to lots of things we wanted to do in town!! Great staff, good breakfast, everything was wonderful!
Cons: The only issue I have, and this is almost always true at historic properties, the bathroom counter space is small. They had a large medicine cabinet and that helped but I have a lot of cosmetics and little bottles, and stuff always falls off of sinks with little edges. But we appreciated all the plugs for our “devices” to recharge, and everything else was great so the sink area was a small problem, not worth worrying about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Harbour House was close to everything we wanted to visit. Most places within walking distance. Staff was friendly, rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcoming and helpful staff. Extra touches such as beach towels and DVDs to borrow. So useful to have a kitchenette. The location was perfect!
Cons: Breakfast was not as good as we'd hoped.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This period property has a lot of character. Our room was small but there were lots of other spaces that you could sit and read a book etc. There are lots of different types of room available. We found the laundry facilities in the basement very useful. Breakfast included a choice of a hot egg dish along with a buffet with cereals, yoghurt, bagels, cream cheese etc. The location was perfect for strolling around Charlottetown.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed. High-tech quiet AC.
Cons: Shower stall is confining and has little shelf space for soap etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The inn is tucked away on a quiet side street yet only blocks to the waterfront, Queens Street and Victoria Park. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the outdoor patio on the second floor to sit and have my coffee (while my wife got ready in the morning).
Cons: Nothing. Liked it all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome. Location is near harbor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Inn on the Harbour is run by a very nice family. It is extremely clean and very comfortable. The inn is located right across the street from the water and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic and cooked daily by the owner who does not claim to be a chef yet the food was always delicious and beautifully prepared. We really enjoyed our stay there and the way the innkeepers went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again!!!!!
Cons: Nothing other than having to leave.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, nice rooms, friendly owners, great location, really good breakfast Would definitely stay here again in back in Charlottetown
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the breakfast, the host family was very friendly and helpful, delightful, made sure we could do laundry. The location is very nice, a close walk to the harbor and the main downtown streets, we walked all over town from here.
Cons: It's just that the room we had, #6, upstairs in back, was dark, had one small window, and it was mostly filled with an air conditioner. There was a skylight but it had been covered by what looks like the roof. The skylight would have made a huge difference in the appeal of the room. The bed was very comfortable, room service was great and all the other aspects were fine, it is just that the room felt like being in a cave, and it needed the lights to be on always. Other rooms in the front and across the hall had much better natural light. The pictures on the booking site about this room did not betray how dark this room was.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Attention to detail was perfect. Hot breakfast made as you arrived. Delicious breakfast all around. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area!!
Cons: It was very hot out (which I do realize is not the case all the time) and there was no air conditioning in the room and there was no breeze at all when the window was open at 2:00 am due to the room placement. I would suggest a fan in the rooms.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nicely restored old building, good breakfasts. Staff was very friendly and tried hard to please.
Cons: Our room (#7) did not have a real air-conditioner and that meant our choices were a loud, portable unit or relying on an open window and a small floor fan. The result was two nights of being pretty warm. Other rooms had full A/C units, so try to get one of those.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, food was amazing and the owners were very helpful. We would totally stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A specially cooked breakfast was prepared each morning, in addition to the usual yogurt, cereal, fruit, etc. each day our room was serviced—ie bed made, towels changed. Also two bottles of water was given to us each day, plus a little bonus treat. Tea and cookies were available each afternoon. The front porch/deck was very nice for sitting outside.
Cons: Enjoyed it all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most amiable host. Very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Great location close to restaurants and waterfront.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Fantastic hosts that really made us feel welcome.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: A comfortable cabin with two separate bedrooms for us snorers, a full kitchen and nice bathroom. The free breakfast was adequate, but we mostly made our own breakfasts. Pros: Location to downtown was great. Bed was comfortable. Nice to have small fridge in room Staff overly friendly and accommodating.
Cons: We were on the top floor. The AC was inefficient ( did not cool room down) and it was very loud ( like a freight train when on). With it off and windows open the late night street traffic( people returning from pub up road) woke us up. This was not Prince Inns fault but it did impact our sleep both nights
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, a variety of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, toast and hot cooked items every morning. Coffee, tea and juice was available 24/7. Cindy was very friendly and attentive, she is very knowledgeable of the area, and offered many suggestions of things to do.
Cons: The A/C in the room was very loud, and it didn't work all that well. Our room did not get cool enough for our comfort level, although we were in Charlottetown during a heat wave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find. Very comfortable bed. Nice room and a quick walk to the waterfront and dinner.
Cons: Breakfast just okay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The beds are super comfy. The wifi and bbqs are a bonus. The owner is super friendly and informative. And it was family friendly for a young family with a 1&4 year old. Can’t ask for much better!
Cons: The only thing that would make this place better is a pool but we spent our time at the water park and cavendish beach so it didn’t bother us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Boardwalk Motel was in a great location for everything we wanted to do. It's great for families, the beds were really comfortable and Cameron was really good to deal with. Great experience - we will go back.
Cons: My husband wished the shower head was higher.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and convenient to the beach and Green Gables at a great price. The owner lives in the motel and is very attentive.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room renovations and tv satellite The staff The cleanliness The guide for the area
Cons: The road noise The un renovated bathroom The movement in the room from people walking on the porch or their room next door
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was close to places we want to go to. The dollar store behind it was pretty good. We ate a lot of dollar ice cream cones and slushies. Close Sandspits and where my brother was camping.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A comfy stay, lovely spacious room, additional requests were catered for by friendly owner, close to lots of attractions . Loved sitting out on the balcony
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, facility was fine for the price, in a high demand market. Large fridge.
Cons: Our complaint is the fitted sheet on the beds did not fit well, sheets are slippery and would not stay tucked in, made for an uncomfortable sleep.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite large and very modern. It also had a large fridge, microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker with ground coffee and filters. Unfortunately only powdered whitener was available, but otherwise we would have brewed some. The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for a floor mattress too. The bathroom was clean and the towels were super soft. Oh and little propane bbqs for each room across the deck! It was a lovely stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean and great location!

Pros: Private bathroom, spacious room, amazing breakfast, very pleasant and accommodating hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a special spot tucked in on the fringe of the city......the owners were so welcoming and warm. The place it self is more than we expected and the Breakfasts we were served every morning were 5 Star rated. The dinning room was generally full for breakfast with open conversation between the owners and other guests sharing their story's of where they were from, why they came to PEI and places they had been to on the island as well as what they planned to do that day. The whole experience was wonderful......we will be back!!! One guest we met shared that it was her 4th stay......a great testament to just how great the place is and how well the owners care for their guests and their experience.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was awesome. Great breakfast and the hosts were so nice and helpful. Very good value and the place was very clean. Would go again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were absolutely amazing...our compliments to the chef! Kathy was so friendly and caring, on a morning we didn’t want to wake up for breakfast, she brought us yogurt and berries and juice to put in our fridge the night before. Highly recommend!!!
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor and setting were definitely 10/10!!]. I can think of nothing that could have been better!
Cons: A non-slip strip in the shower would be good for we Seniors!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our bedroom was gorgeous. The whole facility is beautifully decorated with antiques and kitschy island items. The owners have taken great care in making these accommodations more like a home. They are friendly, welcoming and a wealth of suggestions of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was high quality, fresh and delicious. The whole facility was surrounded by peaceful trees and gardens. Yet just minutes away from downtown Charlottetown. Will recommend to our friends and family.
Cons: Wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast! Highly recommended!
Cons: My fan was noisy after one hour of continuous use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The idyllic setting, owners' hospitality, excellent well appointed accommodations & attentiveness to our needs. The breakfasts were fabulous!
Cons: No complaints at all.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome and adaptable to our needs which was a nice touch. We loved our little porch and spent as much time there as possible because it just felt so good. Our hosts were amazing, lovely people and they have put so much positive energy into their property it really shows! Two other couples with babies were there at the same time and they also looked like they were having a good time. There is also a shared family room space with games, books, movies and beach gear! Would love to return someday. Can't say enough good things.
Cons: I can't really think of anything. This isn't a hotel, we stayed in a little cabin all on our own, which had tv, full bathroom, A/C, fans and was comfortable. It's a bit like staying at a family member's home but you're not living with them, which is perfect. The bed was pretty comfy, there was also an extra bedroom upstairs. The amenities are all there and the hosts make the stay very enjoyable with insight into adventures and places to visit all around the island.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the cute cottage and loved it. Only a short drive to downtown Charlottetown. We enjoyed the peacefulness here without being in the hustle and bustle of downtown. If you are gluten free like myself you will be amazed at the fabulous breakfast that Jeff cooks up every morning. Cathy and her mother Bernice are very gracious hostesses. It’s a great central location to get to many attractions. Next time we come back we will not hesitate to stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice B&B with great hosts giving you a lot of tips for your journey through PEI. We had a great time at the B&B and loved the breakfast. One of the best breakfasts we had in Canada during our 2 1/2 week trip.

Pros: We loved the playgrounds where great for our daughter they had one for smaller children and bigger kids the pool was warm and very clean
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Huge Jacuzzi tub in bathroom suite....very spacious cabins...only downside was the beds are super hard so it wasn't a very restful night but the grounds are very well kept and staff is very friendly. Have stayed here before this current visit and will definitely stay here again :)

8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a quiet location and the area was good. The cottage was comfortable and met our needs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was just off the main road, close to everything but still very private! All the amenities were super close! The cottages are beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub by the pool. We had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to our next visit.
Cons: Nothing, if anything sharing the firepit with the camp next to us was rather annoying but we didn’t end up using it anyway.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cute little cottage with everything included! Also it’s close to all the attractions
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very central location - close to PEI National Park, Cavendish Beach, amusement parks, Anne of Green Gables house. Wonderful manicured, treed, shady grounds. This is a major difference compared to other cottage properties. Most have no trees or shade at all. In the summer the wonderful mature maple trees provide shade to your cottage and play areas (four playgrounds!). Common amenities including a clean, safe heated pool and hot tub, horseshoes, fire pits with free wood were very welcome.
Cons: Nothing - everything met or exceeded our expectations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness of the area, the friendliness of the staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage had everything we needed. It was also away from the main road/highway in Cavendish plus surrounded by trees so it was very peaceful.
Cons: The pool wasn't open but I understand.........the weather wasn't great and I'm sure the management wouldn't want to heat the pool for just a few people. We visited in June.

Pros: Nicely renovated rooms with a beachy feel. Room was clean and spacious. DecorateD tastefully like a beach cottage. Beds very comfortable. No detail overlooked. Bathroom was small but clean and well laid out. There is a curved shower curtain bar which makes for a comfortable space to shower. Good hairdryer. Nice outdoor play area for small children which our 5 year old loved. There is a pool which we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use. Also, other amenities such as fire pit and bbq. Only thing I can think to improve was more lighting. Overall a very nice and comfortable stay.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Near north rustico and have a river view. The room is quite comfort with enough facilities. Good for its price.
Cons: We arrived late ar around 8 and found nowhere to eat. Then we have to drive 40 min to Charlottetown to look for dinner. It's better to be warned ahead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean Well kept. Modernized Play area for kids, swimming pool, Bbqs.. Nicely landscaped Welcome feeling...Landlords very friendly
Cons: I honestly can't think if anything.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Good restaurant advice
Cons: Seemed to be a plastic liner on bed. Not very comfortable
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and the rooms were much nicer than they looked in the photos - could tell there was a lot of attention paid to the details. They gave us a book with details about nearby attractions that was very useful for our Anne of Green Gables adventures.
Cons: The room was a bit small for three adults with luggage and the rooms were a little dark, could have used more lamps.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful buildings and grounds. Excellent breakfast. Location was wonderful - you can walk to most attractions and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Cons: Noisy- you could hear the people beside our room and those above. Not certain that this is a defect of the building or just loud neighbors! Lack of parking was a bit of a problem. Might help for folks to tell you at check in that overnight parking on the street in front of the Inn was acceptable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are beautiful and the Historic Mansion beautiful.
Cons: That our room was modern not what we had expected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and elegant yet very comfortable. Last, but certainly not least, the breakfast was scrumptious. Its proximity to everything we wanted to see made it so convenient.
Cons: Absolutely lovely with a great deal of charm and character.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Family business. A nice feeling of support and interest across generations. Enjoyed chatting with the lady who services rooms. Her conversation reinforced the sense of family and client commitment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff members were fantastic, approachable and so helpful in suggesting things to do and see when we asked. Breakfast was wonderful and always started with a lovely hot carafe of coffee, juice, and yogurt with fresh fruit. What a thoughtful, and very welcome touch! The breakfast choices on the menu were plentiful and varied enough to please anyone! The dining room was lovely and captured the morning sun, and the shady side veranda was beautiful for breakfast as well. We did both! Our room was spacious, charming and oh so comfortable! Both the inn itself and the grounds were lovely. We consider PEI our “home away from home” and our stay at Fairholm Inn reaffirmed that feeling!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you like historical buildings, this place is awesome. Comfortable beds and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The building was antique with beautiful wood work.
6.8 Good
Cons: The laxest service encountered at Reception anywhere in the country-disappointing in any establishment, doubly so in an otherwise upmarket establishment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We only had time for one night, but it was great. We tend to stay at hotels, but this was such an amazing experience, it might change the way we travel. The young man at the front desk lite the outdoor fire for us last night and we played ring toss for awhile before we headed down to the water front. It was lovely having breakfast on the porch this morning. Thank you so much!
Cons: I didn’t really love being in a sub level apt, even though it was nice. The bathroom door didn’t shut and the shower made the entire bathroom wet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place was amazing. Clean, staff was excellent, will recommend to anyone who want to visit PEI
