Very centrally located with spacious clean rooms. Free easy wi-fi access. It was impossible to move across the bedroom without the floorboards squeaking very noisily at every step. Our bedroom windows opened on to the central square. With windows open the bells chimed every 15 minutes throughout the night!
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. All the shops and restaurants are walking distance. The staff speaks English and was very helpful and even stayed up late as we arrived after midnight.
They gave us a great room with a private entrance. It was like our own little apartment. THe owners were really nice and helpful.
An very good hotelin every way, location, near restaurants and in the centre. I would highly recommend this hotel for the price and the catergory
The kindness of the staff, the order and clearness of the hotel and its central position in Ribeauvillé.
Our crib was set up in our room before our arrival. The front desk was extremely kind and helpful in referring us to a yummy restaurant (The Black Horse) for dinner.
Friendly staff, reasonable price, calm
The location was very convenient. No kugelhopf in the morning.
Riberville is one of the prettiest villages along with many others in the Alsace region-and theHotel de la Tour is in the most perfect location. It is a family run hotel with the owner speaking very good English. We didn't have the breakfasts as there was a superb pattisserie just round the corner where we were able to sit outside- so can't say whether it was good or bad value. We upgraded our room as the one offered was quite dark and small and were fortunate to be able to. Had we been wanting to change the first Sunday in September ( two days after we left) that wouldn't have been possible as there was a fete on in the town and they were expecting 20,000 visitors! There was a small gym with jacuzzi-which my sister and partner used and enjoyed. All in all would thoroughly recommend.
The location in the middle of the vineyards is fantastic, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is good and the wine list has a good selection of producers from the immediately surrounding area.
Excellent breakfast (European style) Elevator is a bit slow and noisy
The building was a very attractive one that made us want to step in and stay. The rooms were clean and well kept. The doors are closed by midnight and if a guest shows up after midnight even with fully pre-paid reservation, there is no way to enter the hotel. We had to spend the night in our car in the car park despite a fully paid reservation since we showed up too late!!! When we did make it to the room at 0630 hrs the next morning, we found the bed to be rather small.
great food but no vegetarian choice. small and uncomfortable double bed.
overdue luggage arrived 4 days late and we were not called when it arrived...probably just a language problem with French staff & English only guests
very good restaurant, attractive location
Setting, great view and balcony
Like most French hotels regret no tea-making facilities.
The hotel was nice and comfy. Perhaps some rooms a little bit outdated, but this was overcomed by cleanliness. The free parking lot and the location is what made up our desicion to stay. Despite that we had the updated version on our the navigator, it did not recognize the address that is provided by the hotel or maybe by booking.com (to our surprise neither did google). The very same address with the very same ZIP also applies to the city Colmar (thats what google says). So basically we started our trip to hotel without knowing hotels exact position. As recommendation to the others if your navigator does not recognize the address, use the map on booking.com site in order to find the hotel.
on the internetpage it says 24 hrs reception, but apparently they would like to close around 23 h. I checked in at 23:15 h, the room had a temperature of approximate 13°C and the radiator didn't work. the radiator just started working at 7 in the morning, means they automatically cut the power off during the night. even more they don't foresee a room temperature above 15°C, that's extremely poor!!
Very nice and comfortable room in the newly opened annex. Hotel well placed in a quiet village with easy (car) access to nearby villages and wineyards.
A very nice place to stay en route. rooms were very clean and well presented. restaurant was very good. only issue was lack of staff available on leaving although this was a minor issue
The owners are warm, friendly and accommodating. The location excellent for touring village and region. It would have been nice to have breakfast included.
Hotel staff was very friendly. Food was very good (lovely rhubarber tarte). no
Comfortable clean beds!!! Dogs welcomed!!!
Great location. rather dirty and with windowless rooms. I always wonder why they still have these rooms when they have better availables the specific dates at the same rate. pitty!!!! Windowless rooms, filthy carpet, short bed
Very nice stay in the cosy city and very good room! We don't understand why this hotel has only 2 stars. It deserves at least 3 stars!
Very friendly owner. Good kitchen. Nice location in the center of Alsase wine district ahd the city itself.
It was confortable.
it was quiet
It was cosy hotel, nice and calm, in a lovely location. Included in price, the use of hotel pool and sauna, an extra plus. Also, breakfast was great. A nice touch was the home made jam one was given when checking out. Well, haven't been in such a kitschy 80's hotel room for quite a while! Though the bed was of great quality, the room and bathroom were very clean, and all that one needed was at hand's reach!
Excellent bedroom and spa facilities Nothing
Beautiful pool and spa area; great menu "degustation";
I liked the style and comfort of the hotel the beautifull sight from the diner-room and the terrace. It was very quiet and the people were very nice.
The location is impressive - quiet but accessible. The staff are welcoming, helpful but not intrusive. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The meal alone was worth the journey
Serene and beautiful setting. Staff is excellent; they provide specialized attention to your desired travel wants and needs.
It was in a great setting right in the middle of vineyards. The room was very good unfortunately not able to take advantage of the terrace as it was so hot when we were there. The air conditioning worked fine in the bedroom but the bathroom and toilet were very hot. Great food in their restaurant with beautiful views over the countryside.
the service was great and the staff was very helpful. Also if you eat in the dinner is of excellent value and quality.
The view on the Alsatian valley is really remarkable The hotel is over 1 km of hard slope out of the town. It's not a downward, it's a pleasent walk between the vineyards, but without car could be a problem
Very friendly staff. Well furnished and comfortable rooms. Views of vineyards and valley from terrasse. Nice pool and spa/sauna. Excellent restaurant at reasonable prices. Very relaxing place to stay. Nothing. You do need a car or be reasonably fit since the hotel is located high up in the vinyards.
The hotel was located in the heart of Ribeuaville and yet it was very quiet. Although not fancy, it was very clean and priced very well for it's location. The bed was confortable as well. no.
The Hotel is situated in one of Alsace's most beautiful villages. The hotel staff are wonderful and made our stay there to a beautiful memory.
Pleasant hotel in centre of pirotesque village, acceptable price.
The location was charming, inside and out. A lovely stopover and a perfect one-night place during a long car journey. Parking was not easy, but we found a spot--just had to walk a little.
Athmosphere, food and environment.
Charming hotel with dedicated staff. Food was excellent (dinner and breakfast) and the location was amazing. Worth the stay. Parking is restricted and very limited.
The location was superb and we loved the decor of the room. I was lovely to look out over the garden. no
Friendly staff and excellent food.
Nice clean hotel friendly staff None
Super Hotel worth the drive for the shower alone Dinner in the Evening was great will definately stay here again
In a pleasant rural location with delightful grounds. Rooms were stylish. Service was friendly with a good breakfast.
Bed was hurting my back, does not mean that other people face the same problem.
Good for one-night stay. Ordinary restaurant. Staff speaks english very little.
quality of the room and service of the staff; the photos via internet are old it's completely renovated now Far away from Colmar 45 minutes by car
close to skiing place and still in the town of Saint Die.
facility to park the car, lot of choice for the breakfast and the accommodation very close to the center by car. The mattress is a very used and old. The shape is completely curved. The hitter is switched off during the night till the morning.
Free internet/wifi. Good accommodation for overnight stop with supermarket and restaurants over the road but the hotel also has a restaurant.
Simple and easy to find Breakfast should have a childrens price
The kettle in the hotel room. It is very good to have possibility to make tee or coffee in the room
Hotel was clean, easy to find on the road. For 2* hotel breakfast was good. Please to notice fresh orange juicer machine. WiFi internet was available, though on the hotel site it was not mentioned. Bathroom was new and clean. There was a tea set in the room, though we did not use it even. Be ready to have the room door going directly outside, not to inside corridor. When arrived, room was quite cold. Electric heater is used, so need to switch it upfront not to catch cold. Staff in the hotel hardly speaks English. For foreign travellers it was not easy to get common understanding.
breakfast food was not replenished as it ran out, so the choice for breakfast was very limited
The new pool and leisure facilities are excellent. The hotel would be a great place to unwind for a few days. The room tariffs are high compared with other hotels we used in the Alsace. If there is little or no time to enjoy the facilities (we stayed only one night as part of a walking holiday) it offers poor value for money.
Excellent dinner and breakfast. Helpful staff. Beautiful pool and hot tub. WI-FI weak. Could receive but not send email, tough for business. Thick beach towels would be nice for pool.
The place is great. Great view...
Friendly staff nice food
What a perfectly situated hotel in the most adorable village in the Alsace region. We met the most wonderful wood sculptor and his Dad while walking around the village. Pefectly situated for wine country as well as visiting the Haut de Koenigsburg. The dinner and breakfast buffet were superb.
The town where is placed the hotel is very calm. The swimming pool is open at early in the morning and in the evening. The Structure is very clean and very equiped for a 3star hotel. The restaurant is good and very useful for a full total relax.
Helpful staff who even anticipated when WiFi access was required and provided the pass word. Knowledgeable and helpful waiters who made excellent wine recommendations. Evening meals in restaurant were excellent and good value. Breakfast, included in the tariff, was not to the high standard of the evening meals and coffee was ordinary.
Service was absolutely fabulous!!! We arrived close to midnight and were totally tired after driving six hours and also after a minor misstrack when trying to find the hotel. Welcome was awesome! Even though Hotel´s kitchen and restaurant was closed, friendly gentleman saw that we were tired and propably hungry. He offered us very good local onion pie, salad and excellent wine! Rooms were small but comfy and clean. Our price was 49e/night which turned out to be excellent value for money. Will definately stay here when I´m visiting Alsace next time. If you are planning a trip to Alsace car is a must. Our bed was a bumby and actually a bit broken. AC could have been better.
Staff were available but did not crowd guests No
We got two separated beds unstead of one doublebed
Good location in the heart of old town; easy access to shops, restaurants, etc. There are about 4 public parking stalls across the road from the hotel which are always taken; there is no good parking nearby.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The bath room was also o.k. The room itself answer very well to our espectations it was difficult to find the hostel. No parking. The breakfast was only from 8:30 and seems expensive (8 euro for a continental breakfast). We had to wait till 8 to leave the hostel (in order to pay for the room and give back the key,
excellent position in beautiful village. Staff welcoming and friendly. Good restaurant Lack of onsite aprking
A most beautiful town full of historical interest and atmosphere. We will return for a longer visit as soon as possible. Nearby parking was available and free. Toilet/shower room no natural light. Our one bulb failed late at night. It happens! Suggest fitting shaving lights. Latest check-in request at 18.00hrs is unreasonable. Breakfast average.
Received by very friendly staff in the newly renovated hotel. Had a double room at a very reasonable rate. Excellent stop over hotel when passing Alsace or for excursions in the region.
The hotel lies in a very good location in the beautifull village of Ribeauville. Free parking is available very close tothe hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel personell creates a truly relaxed atmosphere which made our stay very pleasant. The price versus quality is very very good.
good location clean room No staff on duty for most of tuesday and wednesday days check in only available between 2pm-6pm so no one to assist if anything happen during the night.Very rude management on the phone!
The rooms are clean and functional for the price. The hotel reception was not open during the dayj which was not mentioned in our booking. We had to wait for them to open at 3 pm. Also, no fault of the hotel but the town bells ring every quarter hour - all day and all night.
Attentive and charming service from the staff, good restaurant (dinner and breakfast), pleasant, immaculate room, excellent bathroom, delightful and restful situation.
The environment, the service and the pleasant atmosphere
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a fantastic location We were allocated a very very small room for 5 nights. We were moved to a bigger room on request. The staff in the restaurant were not very welcoming and service was very slow. The water in the pool and spa was cold
The service of the personel
Nice reception, good selection in restaurant, lovely pool, great sauna. Squeaky floor boards and thin walls!!!!
The room, the environment The breakfast was not well prepared, there was no bread left !!!!
Great large family room. Everything has been newly renovated and was immaculately clean. Lovely pool/spa area.
Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent restaurant.
The staff was great, willing to help. The jacuzzi and swimming-pool were clean and quiet. The surroundings look amazing (there´s a forest).
Location. Availability of facilities. Cleanliness. Hotel is attempting to be chic and trendy but will not succeed. Staff sometimes pretentious. Service variable. Food OK but not great. Penny-pinching efforts evident. Air conditioning sporadic and requires asking at Reception.
the free wifi, free swimmingpool, view and forest around. Throuhg booking.com very good value for money. staff was not very open, most only spoke french. missing a simple day menu in the restaurant.
