Pros: The food, that was homemade, was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend eating here. The sauna is very nice and the peat experience was great fun. Also, the surroundings are beautiful. Great to spend a night or two here.
Cons: The check in experience was not very smooth because the “boss” was not present at the time. Also difficult to get our own food and lunch was not offered.
Pros: Oh My GOODNESS! What an amazing place! Just eye-popping and mind bogglingly beautiful! I was lucky enough to see it covered in snow too. It is the kind of place that puts you in mind of a folk tale with a long unpaved road leading who knows where and finally finding a cottage hidden somewhere back int he woods. This farm is like a folk art museum. Only the difference is the moment you step inside into the vestibule and take off your shoes you feel as if you are visiting relatives. Franz met me on the front porch with a big grin and a ready wit that did not quit. In fact every time we met he had me laughing out loud..Pippsa was, at the time feeling very unwell, but met me later though with a ready smile and an energy which I know she did not feel. But, as she said, in so many words, when you are on the farm, things need to be done! They were both so very helpful and pleasant and made me feel instantly as if I were at home. The farmhouse is ridiculously beautiful in a rustic sort of way. It is absolutley spotless as well. There are antiques and crafts and works of art and so many little personal touches in every single room including the bathrooms. Everywhere you turn your head just spins with delight. My room upstairs, which was a single since I travel alone, was huge, and stunning to look at and had a big window to check out the snowy grounds outside. The bedtable had a nice bright light which was great for reading as most places with no tele give you a light that is rather dim , I know not why...The bathroom across the hall was brightly lit with modern facilities but still maintained the rustic charm of the rest of the house. The common room downstairs was very comfy with couch and chairs and kettle and so on...Shelves full of books and all sorts of intersting things to read and look at. I had to leave early but I did had a coffee in the kitchen at one of the tables.
Pros: Simply a perfect stay! Even though we arrived late at night, our hosts sent us straight to the sauna. That was a great experience in the real finnish way. The breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread! Lovely environment and hospitality :-) Thank you both so much!
Pros: Excellent facilities in the most beautiful and calm location by a lake. Bonus for having a Sauna that was included in the price. The breakfast was ready at the time I asked and everything worked smoothly.
Pros: The farm was beautiful and impeccable. The family was friendly and helpful. I am vegan and they accommodated me with healthy, tasty and nutritious vegan alternatives.
Pros: It was a nice cottage. Not new, but represents quite nicely classic cottage. The place was clean and had all we needed, especially nice was grilling place with opportunity to swim in the lake and of course - Sauna.
Cons: It is not a disadvantage, but there should have been a ladle to get the soup out of the bot;)
Pros: The art work on the walls of the cottage were amazing, private sauna, hot tub and access to the lake for swimming was really cool.
Cons: There is a noisy street near by. The place is so nice it made up for it for us but if you want quiet, than this is not really the perfect place.
Pros: It was classic old house with oldstyle fire place. The owners are friendly and always willing to help you. The house has everything you need in a self-catering stay.
Cons: Beds can be better..

Pros: Location is nice and beautiful. Good for one night stop.
Cons: The hotel feels like it has been stuck in the 70s or 80s. Everything feels quite old, but the room prices are still quite high. Breakfast was average at best. There was no elevator, so you needed to break a sweat to get baby carriage to the second floor!
Pros: Live music with older people dancing during it. It was really nice to see it :)
Pros: If you go to Jyvaskyla rally by motorbike, this is a very nice place to stay cause some stages are quite close to the hotel. Parking is very good and easy to access. Breakfast was tasty and many choices.
Cons: The dinner buffet cost 15 euro and there was not so much to eat. I could get more and tastier food somewhere else.
Pros: Big sleepingroom and new bathroom
Cons: Old but typical FINisch disign...
