The staff of the restaurant was extremely professional and friendly.
The staff at the reception was neither pro-active nor very professional. When approached at the reception desk, they did not get up from their chairs immediately, nor did they know the times of bus services or how to obtain cinema tickets. Relevant training of this staff would be highly recommended. No hotel shuttle bus to the skiing lifts is offered by the hotel on Saturdays as according to the hotel is the main arrival and departure date during the week. Unfortunately also no official buses operate on Saturdays. So the hotel guest staying over a Saturday is required to walk by foot to the skiing lifts.
Centrally located hotel offering some of the best value accommodation in Saas-Fee. Excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of fresh fruit. Good 6-course evening menu. Drinks bill brought with last course so no hanging around waiting at end of meal. Pool small but good depth and temperature for swimming. Spa small, but good. No noise from other guests or from outside. Good size rooms. Box of chocolates when paying final bill was a nice touch.
Try and go to dinner between 7 and 8 – the one day we went later we felt rushed. Some serving staff not very happy, but good service. Resort is very quite from early evening onwards. Rooms / duvets too warm.
