Pros: Very convenient location. Wonderful and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms with A/C and nice bath.
Pros: Lovely, comfortable, excellent breakfast, snacks, and outstanding service from the onsite manager.
Pros: This is a lovely b&b, very tastefully decorated and comfortable bed and large bathroom. Our hosts also friendly and helpful with maps and suggestions. The breakfast room and 24 hour tea & coffee was great. We had 2 dogs which were very welcomed, even were treated to plate of dog biscuits each, nice touch. The location is excellent, right by the 2 towers.
Pros: Very nice in everything
Cons: Parking that was ok , they need to think in which way could be easily find.,in our case Stephano guided us there, that was very kind of him.
Pros: Very good location in the heart of the city. Cristina is a pleasant host and she is trying to help her guests, although sometime the information is not detailed enough for foreign visitors.
Pros: Great place in a great location. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Will repeat.
Pros: Very friendly staff and great location for exploring Bologna. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and the reception and breakfast area are very quirky. Great coffee to start the day
Cons: The room we had was a bit on the small side
Pros: Good position in town centre near due torri. Very welcoming and helpful staff
Cons: Noisy on Saturday night from outside (perhaps a party locally).
With a stay at Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni, you'll be centrally located in Bologna, within a 5-minute walk of Fountain of Neptune and Piazza Maggiore. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: the location is great even though very hard to get there.
Cons: We got there late at night and could not get to the street. The stuff is nice and polite. the hotel was too kitchy for us, the price was very high for the value. The room they gave us was very far and noisy from the motors of the a\c. With this cost you would expect more!
Pros: Everything. Beautiful, except staff and great location.
Pros: Service was excellent! The best I have ever experienced. Real 5 star service from the doorman, front desk, restaurant staff, bar tender, housekeeping, etc., all the employees were extremely courteous, helpful, attentive, and professional. Hotel is very nicely and tastefully decorated, lots of artwork and fancy walls, ceilings, etc, and our room was very comfortable. They gave us a free upgrade upon check-in (from a deluxe room to a grand deluxe). Location is perfect - it is right in the middle of town, close to all the attractions, restuarants, and shopping. Yet the inside of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast buffet (included in our room rate) was AMAZING!! Excellent food, lots of choices, and of course excellent service from the staff. I think it would be OK for kids, but it is probably better suited for adults. My wife and I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel!
Cons: There is a small gym which I would have liked to be bigger with more equipment The grand deluxe room was a good size, but I think the standard rooms are quite small, especially for what U.S. tourists are used to.
Pros: The location, the design, the service. They freshened our room twice a day and it was very nice.
Pros: Classic building very friendly staff great location
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Very charming 5 stars hotel in the heart of the city. I would recommend this hotel to friends and work colleagues. Nice facilities and friendly staff.
Cons: In the city there are no really many other 5 starts hotels that you can compare this hotel with. Overall everything met my expectations and there was nothing that I didn't like.
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel. We found the staff all very professional and helpful Especially Antonella on the reception.

Pros: Almost Everything, very clean etc.
Cons: "Italien" breakfast, Poor on bread, but quality of pastry very good.
Pros: We needed a bed for the night before flying out very early. This b&b is only 15 minutes from the airport, so is in an ideal position. We were met by the owner, who was very kind. She can’t speak any English, so we called upon our daughter to translate via phone! A comfy room and super shower. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for breakfast.
Pros: Everything. Place is perfect! Items are good quality, sparkling clean, smells nice etc
Cons: Better soundproofing for the doors. We left early and we made some noise that could disturb the other guests
Pros: It was clean, peaceful and very wellcoming. It was like you are staying in your beloved aunt’s home.
Cons: No internet.
Cons: it is a pity for the bathroom not to be inside the room
Pros: Firstly the location, secondly the host and the breakfast! And the rooms are wonderful, even the bathroom is amazing! Beautiful view from the windows!
Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent!
Cons: no bathroom in the room, but the one in common was super clean

Pros: Super breakfast. Nice staff. Perfect location.

Pros: Nice place with very friendly staff at the reception, well situated in Florence. Great restaurant next door.
Cons: Breakfast could be better and hand soap could smell better
Pros: Great location and close to many shops, restaurants and historical buildings. Easy to walk in this area and great place for foodies!
Cons: Rooms were a little bit on the small size but comfortable for a couple nights.
Pros: Smart, stylish, clean, and very well located just behind the main square.
Pros: Close to the Piazza Maggiore, friendly staff, a lovely room with a big bath tub and a very comfortable bed. After working in Lombardia for the two weeks previously, I enjoyed my night in Bologna at the hotel very much and was able to finally relax with ease here. It was just a shame I had such an early flight as I didn't want to leave.
A stay at Art Hotel Commercianti places you in the heart of Bologna, steps from Basilica of San Petronio and Piazza Maggiore. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Fantastic location, good size room with everything required for a comfortable stay.
Pros: location is fantastic. and the hotel building has a great story. history all over.
Cons: breakfast was disappointing.
Pros: Breakfast location to city
Cons: It is one of the noisiest hotels in a city I have ever stopped in. The room was situated over the garage so cars leaving door to garage opening was awful. In the street close to our room window was the cities recycling bottle bins very noisy. Teenagers sat outside cathedral wall opposite hotel laughing playing loud music until 4am. And to cap it all the Hotel sign was illuminated to brightly the room at night was just too bright to sleep...besides that the room was nice! What was good that after 2 days of torture we asked for a quieter room and had it changed straight away quickly...this room was better only had to put up with the air conditioning unit and people laughing until the early hours. It is just surprising as as I said we have stopped in many city hotels in the centre of very busy cities but this was indeed the noisiest.
Pros: My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel. The room was spotless and the breakfast offerings were a delicious array of meats, cheeses, pastries and juices every morning. There were plenty of toiletries and hot water for showers which is something I am more appreciative of now that the second hotel on our trip barely gets above luke warm in temperature. The location is ideal for wandering around downtown Bologna and is only a 20 minute walk to the train station. Please note that the bed is very firm but not so firm that it was uncomfortable. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.
Cons: There were steps leading up to the bathroom that weren’t a problem for people our age but may pose some difficulties for older visitors or those with limited mobility.
Pros: The decor was excellent. The friendliness of the staff exceptional.
Cons: I liked it all. There are no meal facilities but that is disclosed.

Pros: They way we were treated by the staff, all of them were very kind and helpful. The breakfast and how clean the place was, it was very quiet, the perfect place to relax. Grace the beautiful dog around the reception area.
Cons: Location and wifi did not work(I have to say that they tried to sort out the wifi issue but unfortunately, the provider didn't make the reconnection) anyway I used the lobby one to make my work.
Pros: Newer suite
Cons: No wifi..said free but we had to pay for. Beds damp, lots of dust ontop of picture frames etc...kitchen not well stocked...garden view, outdoor table nothing great to look at, wouldnt even sit outside at table. I guess fine for price but wouldnt recomend to family or friends.
Pros: Nice place. Clean comfortable quiet and the ownre Lovely
Cons: It just far from the city
Pros: very friendly and helping host, the location is easy to reach and has a locked parking space (accessable any time via remote control). Basic beakfast is available on the room, but there is also a shared kitchen where cooking is possible (pots, knifes, spoons etc available)..
Pros: The bathroom was great.
Cons: The unit was separate from the parking area and the main house within apartments of neighbors. Difficult for taking bags to room. Also the bedroom was upstairs from kitchen and bathroom which was awkward.
Pros: Very clean room, beautiful bathroom, nice staff! Perfect location to visit Bologna and go to the airport.
Pros: Great property and amazing, friendly hospitality. Easy parking beautiful rooms, quiet and clean.

Pros: Super friendly staff, very warm welcome. Got an upgraded room on a sunday and could check in earlier - thank you! The hotel is situated some 10-15min walk away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, but central enough to reach everything on foot. Parking directly in front of the entrance, rooms are quiet, everything in the rooms relatively freshly refurbished. Great place to stay for a couple of days in Bologna.
Pros: The paid breakfast was a very good buffet with nice service. The room was comfortable.
Cons: The location was a bit of a walk from the city center, especially in inclement weather. A taxi ride there is pricy. The hotel is rather expensive given the location and facility.

Pros: They gave us fruit every day at no charge. They had a high chair for our room for our baby. Breakfast was very good and included in our room rate.
Cons: Restaurant opened at 7.30pm. Earlier dining options would have bee preferable.

Pros: Fabiana is magnificent, Super friendly and the room was big, clean and very comfortable. We arrive at night and the road from Bolonha to BB was very nice to do.
Pros: Ludovica was the best host! We took us from the bus station from Bologna with her car and took us to the airport at 4:30 o’clock morning no extra charge. It is a great place, equipped with everything you need to spend several days. We stayed just one night, we needed an accommodation near the airport with shuttle and it was the best choice!
Cons: A little far from the center
Pros: Fabiana, the owner warmly welcomed us with tea and cookies. Before the arrival she kindly sent a WhatsApp to let us know where the closest petrol station was. Here we could fill up the rental car to return it to the airport the next day. We had to leave early in the morning and it was no problem to serve breakfast at 05h45.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Fabiana was very hospitable and helpful; providing information about the region and shuttle service.
Pros: The owner very helpful and so friendly. The house was down a lane so no noise and was better than we expected. The parking was excellent as there were electric gates which really was a bonus. Not too far from Bologna airport which was very handy. The price compared to others excellent. I would recommend a stay and If I fly from Bologna again I would definitely stay again.
Pros: Host was amazing. Nice countryside. Quiet and clean.
Cons: It's a remote location however good for a night as main concern was the free shuttle for the airport, which the host provided very promptly.
Pros: The owner Fabiana was amazing, everything was great

Pros: The day time front desk staff was fantastic. The restaurant is wonderful. The room itself was large and well-stocked. Great bathroom amenities, robe, slippers, etc. Even had a tea kettle and tea in the room in addition to coffee machine. Beautiful views from the room.
Cons: The overnight reception employee was absolutely horrible. The bed was very uncomfortable.
Pros: It was the second time we stayed at the hotel and once again it was great. Nice rooms, great atmosphere, friendly staf and great breakfast.
Cons: Would be great if there are different pillows and not only very soft ones.
Pros: Very convenient for visiting Bologna when with car. Good property, clean and good sized family room. Breakfast also satisfying. Definitely worth the stay.
Cons: Hotel lobby is a little old fashioned.
Pros: I liked the setting with a park opposite you could walk/ run etc. The room was clean and had a lovely big balcony. The breakfast and the restaurant was very good. The buses run regularly into town and only cost 2 euros!
Cons: The drink supplies in the room weren’t topped up each day. We didn’t have any milk cartons topped up at all. One day the toilet roll disappeared and I had to ask reception twice to send a toilet roll up as we had none. The sink leaked from under the plug on the floor, which made the floor slippery. The shower wasn’t great. Ask for extra pillows as you only get one each side. The hotel is busy with conferences everyday which they reserved the seating area for, which was a bit annoying, otherwise it was very nice.
Pros: Very good value for the money. Plenty of parking space. Clean, decent size room.
Pros: Nice garden, good breakfast. Very elegant and cosy hotel.
Cons: I would have liked the hotel laundry service to be offered on the weekends because I had to go to walk and find my own place to do laundry.
Pros: Great rain shower.Comfy beds Good sized room. Great either fi.Super A/C. Eco policies re towel and linen washing excellent. Garganelli restaurant very good. Well equipped gym. Best of all the staff were lovely, pleasant and happy to go the extra mile.(Even for my 10year old grandson's requests).Made the visit. Grazie Plenty of parking.

Pros: Nice and clean, polite and kind staff, rooms were really cosy and comfy, roof terrace is amazing. All service at the level of genuine 4-stars. Easy access, fast check-in, location is just ok.
Pros: The hotel is not in the center, but it didn't bother us at all. A 20 minute easy walk takes you to the center, and so does the bus (which is 2 minutes away from the hotel). Quiet and safe area. Supermarket 5 minutes walk, train station 15 minutes walk. Very friendly staff, exceptional breakfast, plenty of options for dinner, large and clean room (as well as the bathroom), very good Internet connection, beautiful terrace with jacuzzi and fitness room. After check-out, luggage can be left safely at the reception. An airport-hotel taxi ride or vice versa, 15-18 euros. Conclusion: every time we will return to Bologna (because we will return, and not once), we will also choose SavHotel, and that should say a lot.
Pros: Excellent reception staff, very helpful.
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Little way out of town but easily accessible by bus opposite hotel.
Pros: The property was modern looking and all the facilities were provided.. Dinner and breakfast were great and dinner was reasonably priced.. Would have no issue stay here again..
Cons: The bed mattress was a little hard
Pros: We were warmly greeted by friendly staff who were invested in their customers. They provided help and showed interest in us and wanted to be sure that our stay lived up to our expectations. Would definitely choose to stay here again. This hotel is a short walk from the main centre but thus was worth it as it was in a nice quiet area.
Pros: It was my second time in this hotel and I can confirm the very high standards. Perfect breakfast, very nice terrace equipped with a jacuzzi and a little gym. I have appreciated the room and its cleaning. I can suggest this hotel.
Cons: I had chosen the superior room for the bigger bed but it was not confortable. They are 2 separate beds.
A stay at Royal Hotel Carlton places you in the heart of Bologna, within a 15-minute walk of Piazza Maggiore and Palazzo Comunale. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: My husband and I travelled to Bologna to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. We chose this hotel for the location and the spa. Overall, the hotel was clean, beautiful and regal, and staff were very professional and helpful. When we had an issue with the air conditioning in our original room, but staff was quick to move us to another room once the issue with the AC couldn’t be resolved. Staff was also accommodating in allowing us to have wine glasses from the bar in our room to enjoy store-bought wine. When my husband was not enjoying the wellness path at the spa, staff happily refunded our payment for his experience. (I enjoyed it!) Four hand massage was nice but I did not expect to be nearly naked on the massage table. Perhaps cultural differences. In Canada, massage therapists drape clients in sheets and only remove it when needing to work on a specific area of the body.
Cons: Our first room’s shower head kept falling down and water would easily leak onto the floor. And of course, the air conditioning wasn’t working. No issues with the second room. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely and delicious, however service was a bit slow with only one server working. A hot tub would be a lovely addition to the spa (maybe get rid of one of the several steam showers)
Cons: Staff a bit grumpy not at all welcoming , only on Monday morning one person on reception actually spoke friendly to us at check out. We did enjoy clean and comfortable but not friendly at all which was a great dossapointment
Pros: Wonderful location in a central yet quiet part of the city. The room was spacious even though we had the smallest room in the hotel. Everything in the room was in perfect condition, including all of the tiling and trim. The staff was nice and helpful and friendly to our 3-year old. Breakfast was large and wonderful with cappuccino made to order. The bed was really comfortable. Truly we couldn't ask for anything more in a hotel. It was wonderful.
Pros: Breakfast was good. And good toiletries.
Pros: Great location within 15 min walk to the main square in old town. Breakfast was great and the staff at breakfast were really good. Easy 10 min walk from the central train station.
Cons: Room was hot had to leave the window open. The shower was terrible and it was hard to stop flooding the bathroom
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Although you need to ask for coffee with the waiter as the coffee machine is one of the worst. Location is very nice. Close to the airport, train station, and only 15 min walk to the main square.
Cons: The shower had no hot water pressure. It was supposedly fixed twice, but nothing was changed. So we couldn't take a shower for the two days we stayed there. No apologies. no other rooms. They also made a reservation for us at a restaurant which in the end never came through, which we put down to bad-luck. The airco also didn't work, which we thought to be not an issue as we were there in October. Altogether, hotel is a bit run-down and outdated.
Pros: Everything was great including a well equipped gym.

Pros: OK but not brilliant
Cons: bathroom didn't get cleaned at all and no extra supplies of tea supplied
Pros: Location was excellent. 10 minutes walk from the railway station and close to Piazza Maggiore. Room was large and furniture was comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the staff were lovely.
Pros: Excellent location and great value for money
Pros: Old building located on Bologna Canal
Cons: Extremely noisy (worse experience ever in Bologna)
Pros: They arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 5:45am. Excellent restaurant recommendations.
Pros: The room was spacious and more beautiful than the Photos. The reception was very nice and helpful. The breakfast had much variety and the location is very central! ! We highly recommend this hotel!
Cons: A little noisy at night.

Pros: You will enjoy this place more than any luxury hotel! Great rural nature and comfort.
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming
Pros: The location was nice, the room is pretty clean.
Cons: 1) We had trouble with checking in. The manager didn’t speak any English and couldn’t explain how to find the place. When we got there, we understood that we were late (8pm) and she was in a hungry. When I asked to buy a bottle of wine, she said it was only available in the morning. 2) wifi did not work in the room so I had to work seating on the stairs (other part of the lobby is not accessible by the guests at night) 3) the room itself was very small 4) the breakfast was fairly poor I was hoping to try some local wine and enjoy the hospitality of the family business but I got none of these for the price of a proper hotel.
Pros: it was clean and comfortable and the breakfast couple from the Phillipines were really super..
Cons: it was really way off road and although a wine producing farm i couldnt taste their wine although i wanted to buy some..
Pros: Very nice welcome from the staff. The equipment as well as the cleanliness were perfect. The establishment is well located, surrounded by hills & very quiet but also just 15mn away, by car, from Bologne airport.

Pros: The lobby bar
Pros: staff always helpful
Cons: not enough sockets in the room; fitness facility was tiny, with hardwood floors
Pros: Location, overall comfort and staff
Cons: Noisy doors
Pros: Lobby and restaurant were lovely and updated, unfortunately that's not where you actually stay.
Cons: Rooms were terribly outdated and dirty with stained carpets that goes half way up the wall... nothing like the lobby. Staff is rude. Would never stay here again.
Pros: Great location right across from the train station and very near to Avis/budget rental car return and not too far of a walk to the historic sites and markets and shops. Staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was very nice - in fact, received a random upgrade :).
Cons: Dropping off luggage was a bit complicated but just need to really ask before arriving.

Pros: Breakfast and coffee was good.
Cons: Everything was fine but the shutters in my room let all the light in and I could not sleep. I assume there was a way to close the holes in the shutters but unfortunately I didn’t know how to do it. Cool the bacon more and better eggs as these are the main protein options.
Pros: The location, really convenient, close to all the important area of the city, really friendly and courteous staff, Claudia and Roby, excellent breakfast, free parking, really close to the bus stop to the center
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful
Cons: Almost nothing

Pros: Staff were really lovely. Couldnt do enough for me and really made my visit nice. Bathroom, shower was excellent. Outdoors was beautiful. Shuttle to airport was perfect.
Cons: Room itself very basic but did provide everything needed. Decor quite grim but i guess rustic is the word. Arriving in the dark it was a bit spooky and dismal but looked far better in the sunshine next morning. Breakfast not as expected but sufficient.
Pros: The staff were nice and helpful Location is close to airport (must have a rental car as there is no public transportation) but right under the path of landing planes (very very very noisy)
Cons: I chose the hotel based on a review of a good breakfast. However, the breakfast was very bad Merely just cheap toast for bread no other kind. Every thing else is cheap quality. They put a jug of something very reddish as a juice but could not risk drinking it. Better have your breakfast elsewhere
Pros: Our host was absolutely fantastic and our meals were wonderful
Cons: Our host was absolutely fantastic, however our room floor was dirty and had many flies. The bed linen was clean but the cover needed replacing as it was very old. The spare pillows looked like a dog had chewed them.
Pros: Great staff! Very welcoming, and looked after us well. The restaurant kitchen was still open when we arrived at 9pm after a long journey, which was much appreciated.
Pros: Very comfortable room with good en-suite facilities. Free wifi. Great family run restaurant with excellent menu and great food.
Cons: Poor sound insulation from the corridor and adjoining rooms.
