Pros: The Hotel is stunning. Absolutely perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding with classic french cuisine. The room & baths were wonderfully designed. There are multiple places on the property to relax and unwind whether outdoors on the patio or yard or in a cozy den area. The host could not have been more accommodating. There are also beautiful original water color paintings throughout the house by an artist named Soizig that are available for purchase. Mont B&B was an unexpected highlight on our trip to France...
Cons: I wish my stay there could have been longer. There was nothing I did not like about this B&B...
9.6 Excellent

Cons: nothing

Pros: Excellent owner/hosts, with lots of useful information, very helpful and willing to be adaptable. Beautiful rooms, large comfy beds and large en suite. Excellent location for Velo route and Le Mont St Michel. Relaxing gardens. Fab choice and beautifully presented buffet breakfast. Safe garage for bicycles. Perfect. Thank you.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host and hostess were very accommodating and friendly. My room had a nice view of the garden/patio and despite many people staying at the B&B, it was very quiet. It was an easy walk from the train station and many stores, especially the bakery. The breakfast was a lovely spread of breads, yogurt, fruits, cheeses, and the host graciously made a second individual pot of French press coffee for me! Très bien! The breakfast room/kitchen was bright and comfortable. A nice way to start the day. For a small fee they offer a ride to Mont Saint Michel which is nice if your schedule doesn’t match the bus schedule! One couple went at night to see the lights. Thanks for running after me at the train station when I forgot my phone charger!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was straight walk down the street to the Mont B& B from the train. The place is very beautifully decorated inside and the hosts are amazing. We had a good size room with king bed and private bath. The breakfast was the best we have had-fruit, coffee, yogurt, pastry, etc. The grounds were lovely as well. Would highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good English spoken so felt you could ask anything, very nice welcome in a lovely boutique B&B, lovely garden, beautiful artworks the décor is excellent and breakfast one of the best 'continentals' we have had. When passing this way again this is the only hotel to use (if you are lucky)
Cons: Nothing could have been better really, except parking a little tight, but in no way should it stop an excellent visit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastic B and B - the hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful, and gracious, super positive people! It is a short walk to the Pontorson train station, which is also the departure point of a shuttle bus to Mont St. Michel (3 euros each way). The bus isn't very frequent as it operates in coordination with train arrivals - just to be forewarned. The room was very comfortable - great bed, great shower, all very clean and also quiet. The train line runs nearby, but there are so few trains that I never even heard one. They also serve a marvelous breakfast. This stay has been the highlight of my trip this year in France!
Cons: I can't think of anything - everything was great!

Additionally the Hotel is located very good and one can be at Mont St. Michel in about a 5 minutes ride. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was an amazing hostess. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, providing us with a thorough orientation to the area and suggestions about how to make the most of our time there. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and homey. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner on our night there was a picnic on the building's grounds looking out over a beautiful meadow at Mt. Saint Michelle in the distance. Just beautiful. Great for our family of four.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hostess was very helpful with information about visiting Mont-St-Michel. The location was quiet but an easy walk to restaurants and transportation. The breakfast provided was a lovely buffet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was professional, attentive and friendly from the minute we went through the gate. The location is really good - very close to the shuttle bus taking people to the Mont-St-Michel, but without the hustle and bustle of people, which the other hotels close by seem to have. It's also an easy, flat walk (about 2.5 kms but easy to do) if you decide you want to walk. Veronique is obviously passionate about her business and provides great information about the Mont eg best times and places to eat. The breakfast she provides is an extensive (and lovingly prepared) contintenal breakfasts. If we returned to the Mont, she'd be the place we'd choose to stay.
Cons: Not a dislike, but our GPS had difficulty finding the location - persist though, it's well worth it!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location could hardly be better for visiting Mont St Michel. Plentiful, spacious on-site parking and a short walk to the free shuttle buses. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The host, Veronique, was absolutely superb in all respects. The quality of the breakfast was excellent with fresh produce and home made cake. There was also a tea/coffee making facility available all day in the breakfast room.
Cons: The choice of cereal at breakfast was a little unimaginative with only corn flakes or what looked like Coco Pops for children. There was no muesli or granola style available and, surprisingly for France, only one type of bread and no croissants!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our hostess was friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. The accommodations were lovely. The breakfast was good value and well done. The location was superb
Cons: N/A
9.2 Excellent

6.3 Good
Pros: very lovely apartments and a beautiful garden. The breakfast was good, typically french Such a lovely house, many details you could get lost in.
Cons: Unfortunately, we didnt feel welcome by the hosts. Apparently they talked more to other guests, but somehow we had a bad feeling. Even though we mentioned before that we are travelling with a dog, we were not allowed to leave him alone in the room (which we accept, but it would have been nice to tell us via email before we arrived). A full day trip can be very exhausting for a dog, and beeing in the garden was exhausting for him as well as there were 2 cats (which is no problem, but it would have been easier if we could have left him in the room for 1-2 hours). We had the feeling that the house and all the little details were made by previous owners, not the two we met during our stay. Unfortunately, Antrain has nothing to offer (not even a restaurant or bar), so you always have to go somewhere by car. We somehow felt like there was no great hospitality. There was not enough toilet paper, the rubbish was not taken out, things like these should be self-evident without the guest having to point them out. The house is very badly soundproofed, you can hear the people beneath you snoring. Alltogether, it could have been a very nice stay with everything the apartments have to offer - but we had the feeling the hosts were not very keen on having contact with the guests or doing anything special to guerantee a great stay.

Pros: Everything, from the initial welcome greeting, to the wonderful outside comfort, ambience and space, the champagne was pretty good as well
Cons: There was nothing that we disliked
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very charming couple, English speakers, interesting huge garden area, with swimming pool and cinema, and large covered external bar and tables. Fab breakfast. E289ccentric bathroom facilities. Antrain itself is struggling, nearest eating places are at Pontorson.

Pros: The villa is an amazing place and the owner are extremely nice and polite. We have enjoyed every minute of this place and want to come back as soon as possible. You feel there like at home. A great experience is the private cinema with real cinema chairs and the garden is marvelous to take a glass of wine and relax on the sun. The location is perfect- close to main attraction of Bretagne and Normandy. It was pity to leave this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was a true gem! What a find! A warm welcome to a beautiful room where everything had been thought of. Beautiful linen bedding gorgeous towels, tea coffee leaflets on places to stay....and the breakfast...wow! Fresh fruit beautiful croissants from the local boulangerie bread, cheeses, jams, cake, all washed down with great coffee- de caffeinated (proper) coffee and a vast selection of teas and juices.
Cons: Leaving!

Pros: Fantastic hotel in a small city 15-20 minutes drive from Mont Saint-Michel. No problem to find a parking slot just near the hotel entrance. Room is very clean and fantastically decorated. The small inner garden is perfect to have a glass of wine or tea. Breakfast is delicious. Hardly recommend this hotel.

Pros: It surely exceeded my expectations. Photos cannot show true beauty of this place. It was like we were staying in our little apartment. We had some really good rest, breathing fresh air and enjoying the silence. The owners are very nice genuine people. Every morning they served us a great breakfast and brought us fresh tomatoes from their garden. I couldn't wish for a better place to stay during my vacations.

Pros: Warm welcome, comfortable room, tasty breakfast
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was darling. It has be retrofitted to have a toilet and small shower in it which we liked for the convenience. We were able to open the window for fresh air and it was not noisy during the night even though the window opened up to the main street. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The town of Pontorson is lovely and we were just around the corner from small shops, stores and restaurants. Our host was very accessible and helpful.
Cons: Our room was on the first floor with rather steep steps. Although very convenient the toilet area was very small.I have a bad knee and had to be careful but there was a handrail and our host "Jimmy" took our carryon bags up for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful hosts.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We liked how close it was to the main street with restaurants, and it was convenient for visiting MSM. We loved the communal breakfast with the three other couples staying in the house. It was very nice :) The host and hostess were very helpful and very kind.
Cons: We did not like the single (large) duvet - we prefer two separate duvet covers. I liked how firm the bed was, by girlfriend who is quite small found it to be too hard. The toilet in the closet was "interesting" so as long as you are prepared for it, it should not be too much of a surprise.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly and good breakfast.
Cons: The stairs up two floor.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and swimming pool

Cons: nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - only a short walk from the town, with free parking close by, and its restaurants and activities. We were there while a fete of music was occurring and enjoyed a late night stroll. Our young host family were delightful and very helpful. We liked the tea and coffee which was always available in the lounge, and the informality was very restful. Our room had a four poster bed and was most comfortable.
Cons: No complaints !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and a nice quiet location.
Cons: Rubberized under sheet on the bed which becomes ubearably hot during the night

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. A view of Mont St. Michel from our room [which is large and spacious] on the 3rd floor. the walk to and from the third floor was a special experience on its own. Also, having our French-speaking hostess try to communicate with us was exquisitely awesome, memorable. Walk to the Abbey if you dare. Breakfast perfectly French.
Cons: toilet malfunctioned, but was dealt with.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were super attentive to detail and very welcoming, the room and facilities were spotless, and the location is excellent (about 5km from Mont St Michel). The guest room has two tiny windows that perfectly frame the famous abbey. Our hosts lent us their parking card so that we could park at the Mont St Michel parking lot for free, advised us on where to park to lessen the walk to the shuttles, and gave us tips on places to have a nice dinner.
Cons: The house is from the 1790's (not a misprint - 1790's not 1970's) so is 200+ years old. This means there is no AC (hosts provided electric fans to help), the bathroom is not en suite but down a short hallway, and my main issue - a very tight and steep set of wooden stairs leading to the guest room. If you have a lot of luggage, it will be challenging to wrestle that luggage up to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was friendly and helpful -- from our first brief tour of the beautifully restored property and our nicely decorated second floor room to checkout the next morning, everything was lovely. Not only was she patient with my rusty French, she was happy to chat, and to offer suggestions for local restaurants. In addition, although we arrived a bit late in the day (after 7:00 pm), she was kind enough to telephone the place we selected to reserve a table for us. After an excellent night's sleep, we had a lovely breakfast, including fresh fruit (a nice assortment including apricots, donut peaches, and cherries), viennoserie (croissants and pain au chocolat), fresh baguette de campagne (with butter and jam or ham and cheese), and yogurt, plus tea and coffee. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay here!
Cons: Nothing -- everything exceeded our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic place. Natalie our host was so nice. We loved all the attention to detail. Very close to Mont St Michel. Borrow the free bikes and go for a ride!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great place to stay when visiting Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Nathalie is a wonderful host. The house is incredible and very special!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was a work of art in this house. The owner has an exquisite eye. We had the best night’s sleep in ages-beautiful room, lovely comforters, nice linens and a lovely cross breeze. One window in the room frames Mount Ste. Michel. The only caution is you have to climb several stair cases. If you have no problem with that,do go here.
Cons: The stairs, not that they weren’t beautiful, but just that at a certain age, you wish you didn’t have to climb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful old house. Natalie and Yves we’re very welcoming and friendly. Great place to take the bikes and explore.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This inn is lovely - and is set apart from the tourist hubbub. A 5 min drive to a terrific photography spot and 8 min to Mont St Michel shuttle (or you can bicycle). Our room was spacious and comfortable and our hosts were friendly and gracious, and they kindly showed us around their amazing garden. We were able to tour the Abbey in the quiet hours before closing and photograph in early dawn. A magical experience. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nathalie thankxxx for everything
6.7 Good
Pros: Very comfortable room, with beautiful furniture, comfortable bed, sheets, etc.
Cons: The lady that owns the BeB couldn't be more rude. Couldn't miss an opportunity to complain about any delays or if we used too much electricity. Gave us very good tips about restaurants and parkings but in another moment treated us like people from underdeveloped countries. A really sour person.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: No managed reception on arrival we had to call by telephone and wait . Empty shower gel dispenser in shower. Poor attention to detail , expensive breakfast charge for poor breakfast , under cooked fat washed eggs and omelette more like a dish cloth .

Pros: Great room and beautiful hotel! it is a great choise for visiting Mont Saint Michael! Every detail was berfect!

Pros: The ground floor room with a garden was beautiful, and the additional downstairs floor was a pleasant surprise. Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really loved staying in the hotel. It has a nice garden and stylish rooms. The elevator is small (just for one person or only luggages) but I think it is due to lack of space to install something bigger. On the other hand it was real fun for the kids :) Breakfast was amazing especially omelette. I recommend this hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a junior suite which was a lovely room with great bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, did not want to get out!! The breakfast was continental with a selection of crossiants, breads, ham and cheese and cereals. We were also offered an omelette every morning which was great. Coffee machine so no problems with the quality of the coffee. There is a lovely area to sit out at the back of the hotel and also the bonus of off road parking. The hotel was situated on the main street in Pontorson yet there was no traffic noise heard from our bedroom. Very good location. Two hour walk along the river to Mont St Michel.
Cons: We would have liked to have tea and coffee facilities in our room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, quiet, nice patio/outside sitting. Clean.
Cons: When checked in was given key but not to the main entrance, which was locked at 8 pm, without being told how to get in. We were almost locked out the first night. Room did not have that information either (or ant information for that matter). Shuttle transport to Mont Saint Michel, the major nearby attraction, is quit limited.

Pros: Francis is an absolute gem!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: such attention to detail as to what we required and liked
Cons: the access stairs to the bedroom was rather steep and would not suit anyone with a disability
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the most adorable and unique B and B. It has a private sitting room with a fireplace, small dining table. There are bookcases full of travel books and novels in English and French. It is truly provincial France, with a view of the Mont St. Michel from the front door. Our host was authentic and cared so much that we were happy.
Cons: Although it wasn’t a problem for me, the stairs to the bedroom require full mobility.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The host is one of the most wonderful persons I've ever met! He’ll assist you in finding a nice place for dinner (it was delicious!), will ask you for your breakfast preferences and answers all your questions about the area, what to do etc. And the place itself is super cosy and reminded me instantly of my grandmothers place we’re I spent most of my childhood. So that’s a compliment all the way, François
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place and the host Francis is extremely attentive man.
Cons: .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Francis' place was wonderful, like staying in your own cottage in the country. Francis is very charming, gave us great tips on visiting Mont St. Michel, and provided an excellent continental breakfast. He even picked us up at the bus station since we did not have a car, and dropped us off upon checkout. The full bathroom is not immediately within the room, but was not a problem for us. The shower was amazing, and robes and slippers were provided. It's a bit of a walk to MSM, but we enjoyed it. It's peaceful and nice to stay apart from the tourist row.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property perhaps can be best described as a campestral boutique homestay. Working farms/ranches and nature are your neighbors. Different from many of the other lodgings offered in the area. The host(s) were exceptional and unique. The ratings for this property are high, large due to their concern for their guests. You have lots of private space with a lovely downstairs for eating and relaxing by the fire if cold.
Cons: For the price paid and value received, there is nothing to complain about. As in othe reviews, this a historic property which has been modernized. There are steep narrow steps to reach the bedroom. Be a fit person, or find other lodgings. While there is a small sink and toilet adjacent to the bedroom, the main modern bath is a few steps away via a covered portico. Have a car or be prepared to walk abot 2 K to the visitors center and 3 K to Mont Saint Michel. Walking will keep you in shape, and slow you down to better enjoy your visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a fantastic stay here with our puppy! The location is excellent for visiting Mont Saint Michel with a beautiful view of the mont next to the house and you can take a nice walk across the field and get to the bridge in around 35-40 minutes. The breakfast was delicious, especially the banana bread and Francis was an excellent host. We would definitely recommend staying here!
7.9 Good
Pros: The warm welcome and hospitality of Mr Francis, the host. Also the delicious breakfast!
Cons: A bit far away from the bus station, need to walk for 30mins.
