Standard of the room was high Few restaurants in the area. Lanusei is not geared up to tourism yet.
Family-run hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the majority speaking Italian and French. Spacious room with air con, tv + fridge, lovely neutral decor, large ensuite. Parking spaces available. Family also have a fantastic restaurant in town, La Rotunda. Town ideal for escape from tourism.
The food was amazing, the location and the pool area Rather a lot of notices saying what not to do, where not to park, etc
large comfortable room with great views, plenty to eat at dinner (half board)friendly and helpful staff, good location for walking holiday. earlier start time for dinner 7pm instead of 8pm
this is a great hotel, the location in the mountains is like in a movie. the hotel swimming pool is very nice with a loungy atmosphere. you might as well be a movie star ;-) staff is very nice. the view is amazing as well as the rooms. definately a must do
Fantastic Location, fantastic room, fantastic staff, fantastic food, excellent rate if we're being really picky - the meals were too large
Beautiful location. Very romantic hotel with an excellent restaurant. Lovely service. Superior room gives great vaule for money (the terrace, the bed, the bathroom!!!)
Really comfortable, excellent facilities, good restaurant.
if you love quietness: book this hotel. We had a fantastic view over the mountains, large and clean room with balcony. Food was excellent, but one warning should be given; we didn't book for HP (a firm discount!) because we wanted to eat á la carte, but during weekdays they just offer one fixed menu. So we'd better booked HP with the discount.
The locality of the hotel is beautiful, the garden is very pretty, lots of beautiful plants well taken care of, the views of the surrounding area were spectacular and the hotel itself in general too very nice; large rooms and a huge terrace, spacious bathroom with a bath jacuzzi, though with this price this quality should not be surprising; The food at the hotel restaurant was very disappointing. Too expensive and not that good, little choice and poor quality, fish was dry whereas meat was very hard; But there is not much option to eat somewhere else as there is almost nothing in the neighbourhood (except for some local bars which have limited opening times);
Beautiful surroundings, good facilities, excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, and we were upgraded to a lovely junior suite at no extra cost
Good rooms, good food, excellent staff and friendly owners. If you want a base for exploring the mountains you can't really go wrong with this hotel. The good sized pool (assuming you go when it is open) is a great place to relax after hiking.
One person's very helpful attititude Lack of swimming pool, no effective person to complain to, no real interest in the complaint
Service, ease of access, quiet
the hotel is a little bit old, actually everything seams a little bit old there. If you wanna go to the beacht it takes about 30 minutes or more.
Our room (in the annexe) was roomy and well equipped (except that the hand-held shower and no shower curtain made it difficult to avoid flooding the bathroom!), with a pleasant balcony with an excellent view down to the sea.. Good buffet breakfast every day.
Wonderful views to the sea. Good breakfast, plenty of choice.Lovely big swimming pool., Fabulous train ride from here into the mountains. Close to lakes, walks etc. Dont go here if you want the beach, 30 minutes away. We still enjoyed the drive. Torre di Bari, fabulous beach. The public areas around the hotel and pool neede to be tarted up a bit.
Spectacular views, calm and relaxing environment, positive energy - a good base to see the surrounding countryside and not too far from coast (30-50 min drive). Really friendly staff and great breakfasts. Rooms were a little small and the furnishing a little dated.
The hotel is in the heart of a small mountain town, which is located ideally for hill walking. The narrow streets make for good exploration. Limited internet access in hotel. Rooms facing the street (which is the main route through the town) are very noisy due to heavy vehicle traffic from early hours. Rooms at back of hotel are quieter.
The staff were very plesant, the place was kept clean and it was conveniently located for the su marmuri grotto The need for a hire car to go and get dinner- no restaurant in the 'town' of ullassi
lovely place , tonino and his wife are two very kind persons the location , ulassai is very remote , it's ideal for a quite break away from the crowd. brilliant spot for trekking, climbing etc.. but if u fancy a day out at the beach , tortoli is more ur location. su marmuri is about 40 mins away by car from the nearest beach. so don't be afraid to use the car, even u want to eat out , only one pizzeria in the town ( but gorgeous and cheap price max 5.5 euro for the carbonara yummy )
Friendly, helpful staff and lots of info available about surrounding area. Nearest place to eat is 4 kilometres away near the caves.
The loveliest people you could meet. Treated us like family and really cared and tried their hardest to ensure we had a great holiday. Also excellent value for money.
The hotel is family run by a family who cares about their customers. We stayed after the season had finished, so the dining room was closed for lunch and dinner, but the family referred us to a supurb local restaurant. The hotel was built about 2005 at the site of the grandmother's house in a densely forested location with stupendous sea views out over the trees. Just the place to relax and de-stress and only 5 minutes drive from the town centre Everything worked well - no problems or dislikes
The staff are very warm and accommodating.
Fabulous views across the hills to the sea, and of the mountains behind. Lack of evening meals, had difficulty finding someone to attend to check in on arrival, staff had poor English. Parking limited on narrow streets.
Delightful and helpful staff. Beautiful old buildings and courtyard - very romantic. (We loved the idea of staying in an embroidery museum). Excellent food. No WiFi connection. Great location for touring and a wonderful place for relaxing. Extremely difficult to find (the website needs to have clear directions). No WiFi connection. Ceiling fan in bedroom not working properly. Bedrooms a 100metre walk down the street from the dining area.
The owner spend time showing you around the museum, its a great place and you really capture a lot about the local food and culture. Unfortunately the plumbing was poor (cold showers etc). It needs some maintenance work. But a very interesting place with friendly staff.
Hotel was clean, and good for one night stay. Breakfast is good if you like jams. They have great green tomato jam!
Tonia's food is amazing and the restaurant in the courtyard is sublime. This hotel is for lovers of peace and quiet with an interest in good cooking. An deal place to chill.
