Pros: Our room was spacious and clean as was the entire property. They front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly. The area is beautiful.
Cons: Absolutely NOTHING was open around the hotel. No restaurants, cafés, bars, stores, etc. Fortunately we brought leftovers from lunch with us - the drive back to town isn't too far, but it would have been a big hassle as we arrived expecting for at least one restaurant to be available to guests.

Pros: Spectacular scenery. A couple of superb restaurants.
Cons: It is close to a railroad mainline. No horns but quite a few trains. Tolerable though.
Pros: Great location near the water. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Pros: The hotel has a very good restaurant within it so you don't have to go far for decent dinning.
Cons: Even though it looks like it's had some renovations, it is an older building and still shows it's age.

We originally booked a standard studio room and then upgraded to a one bedroom suite while on-site after the woman working the front desk was kind enough to show us some of the other rooms that were available. The suite was wonderful! It overlooked the lake so we got some amazing sunrise and sunset views. The bedroom and living rooms had private decks overlooking the lake, which was awesome. They also both had their own independent gas fire places. The continental breakfast was also above average offering fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee and tea, baggles, two differnet kinds of quiche, assorted pastries, oatmeal and cereal. All the hotel staff was very nice and the two attached restaurants were also very good (but a tad expensive, as most attached to hotel restaurants are). We would definitly recommend this hotel and would return here again if traveling to Sandpoint.
Pros: Very clean, great convenient location, beautiful views, great rooms, well above average continental breakfast.
This hotel was clean, friendly and charming.
Pros: This was the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view.
The Lodge at Sandpoint is a great choice for a stay in Sagle. Guests can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and visit the fitness center for a workout. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and all rooms offer flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: Tv noise from adjacent room through entire night made sleep really difficult
Pros: Hot Tub was good. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Good sized room.
Cons: Water pressure caused the shower to not work at first but it eventually worked. Got woke up at 3:00 am by loud people out side our door.
Pros: Location is great! Close to Schwietzer and in the middle of town.
Cons: The guest next door had the tv turned up loud all night.
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The hotel is actually three different buildings spread across a city block. If you're in the first building (near the office) you have to walk outside to the last building if you want to use the hot tub. Breakfast was basically waffles or cereal.
Pros: As a family with older kids, we love the in town location. Less shuttling for parents as the kids can easily walk to the beach or walk to town. We also love the breakfast in the morning because it saves us money.
The executive King rooms have a twin pullout sofa which was a great option. The rooms are spacious for a hotel room and we loved having the fridge and microwave in the room. The pillowtop bed was very comfortable!
All the staff ( front desk, housekeeping, breakfast attendant and maintenance) are very friendly, helpful and timely! The laundry is very convenient for longer stays and the fitness room is clean and a nice amenity. Loved having beach towels for the pool available, too.
We have stayed at this hotel in the past and we are never disappointed. We always try to book our stay at La Quinta when in Sandpoint. It's a great value for the price.
Cons: Because Sandpoint is a town for families, it would be nice if the room configurations were more family friendly, like having a king or queen bed with a bunk bed. Some hotels where we have stayed have "bunk rooms" for families with multiple kids. A small kitchenette for extended stays would be appreciated, too.
Pros: Nice place to stay in a good location. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Pool area was large, indoors with rooms that had doors at poolside. There was an attached restaurant and a 20% discount was nice to have. The room was clean and large with a sofa and recliner added to a king bed. The desk clerk was very helpful when we needed a micro wave she used her's from the front area.
Cons: There was not a microwave nor a refrigerator in the room.

Cons: i have nothing bad to say.
