Very good facilities, friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, excellent location. Nothing
the hotel was like anyother campanile hotel.we stayed there because it was convieniently located as an overnight for our final destination.
nothing breakfast/ bar service
On a busy junction of ring road, so continual traffic noise. Rooms too small for 3 people.
Easy to book in/out and access to car parking. Unfortunately, there was a power cut during our evening meal. This may be the cause of our steaks being served rare instead of medium!
All very kind staff thanks. It was a pleasure to be there.
friendly staff the air con was broken in our room dispite the hotel promising that it would be fixed during our three day stay
staff very kindly
having a resturant bar service ended at 22.30hrs no in room coffee/tea .no breakfast until 0800
We came "late" and the reception was closed, but they had arranged for us to get in and get our rooms. Superb. Coffee and tee at the room - excellent :o)
Staff very helpful. Room big.
the hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful the hotel restaurant and check in facilities were closed at 6 pm on friday and sunday evening
friendliness and polite staff Restaurant and Bar closed at 6.00pm on Friday and Sunday, only open until 9.00pm on Saturday
The room was excellent having been recently refurbished. Breakfast was the best we had on a 4 week trip round europe. Manager was most helpfull in getting our motorcycle into a secure position at rear of hotel. Excellent all round. I would suggest installing hanging space within the room for clothing.
the staff the matras was uncomfortable and the fact that there was only one bed. One of us slept on the ground.
Although we asked for a non-smoker romm, we landed in a smoker-room.
Quiet, good value, friendly service, still very new and clean.
Exploring the fortress. Recommended restaurant (Campanile, I think) Its site is not immediately obvious from the main road. May need clearer advance publicity.
It was well located for a one night stop over on the way to the ferry ports. i. Google was unable to locate the hotel address resulting in a 1 hour search around the neighbouring village. ii. The breakfast was not good value for money. The bread was a little stale and the cerial choice was very limited.
I was on a travelling holiday - I chose maubeuge for it's location from the port and as a base for the area I was wanting to visit (Luxemborg & Belgium).
We stayed one night on our cycle tour and really liked the beatiful rooms which have been restored and refurbished to a very high standard. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast in the excellent restaurant and would have liked to have stayed and explored much longer.
We used this as a stop-over on a return journey so are only able to provide a limited assessment of the Auberge but nothing regarding the locality. It is obvious upon entering through the gates that the Auberge has a charming impressive character. This is confirmed upon being presented to your quality room by the friendly staff. Although the "Value for Money" has been ticked Excellent, we felt that the 10 Euros each for breakfast for high.
